Hi, I really recommend using readmores on longer fics, especially ones which involve or include sensitive topics like the one(s) which feature s/h.

It's a lot easier said than done to simply keep scrolling when there's not something to stop the fic from showing up; rather than it being an option whether to see it in the first place, you have to keep scrolling past a whole section of the fic that continually discusses the content. /info

regarding requests

hi lovelies! i js wanted to talk to those who have made a request, because they deserve an explanation, whether you made one a long time ago or my most recent prompts. to those who have made requests a long time ago, i would like to apologize for not responding to them. during the height of asks, i was drained emotionally and lost a lot of motivation to write for multiple reasons. one of them was that i was frustrated with the lack of interaction.

i was (and still am) appreciative and i loved seeing all of the sweet comments and compliments i was getting, but i felt that there is a wall that i created, one between a fic writer and reader. i never wanted that wall, but i kept you in the dark. i was scared of talking to people, so i never gave you any updates, or asked how you were doing. i left for months at a time without any heads up. i’ve never told you about myself or shared stuff about my life, the only things i would post were fics and questions about those fics. you don’t know much about me, so how could i expect to have mutuals and anons?

instead of trying to improve and put myself out there, i compared myself to other writers and degraded myself, and i think that was my downfall. i was considering leaving this blog and starting fresh, but recently i have decided against it because don’t want to lose the people i still have. i have seen all of the requests and i am in the progress of working on them.

This week I’ll be working on editing my way through my Masterlist to check for errors or moments that gave x reader physical characteristics that aren’t inclusive.

E.g. blushing vs. heating/warmth is probably my biggest error throughout half my posts.

I never want to do anything that rips any readers out of a fluff.

Okay so funny story, today (or maybe technically yesterday) is the anniversary of Rottmnt. Now I do have a drawing for this, but originally it was not. When I first made the drawing it was mainly for Universal Mayhem and was supposed to post it a week ago but my brain was like “No no no, wait amount.”

I guess this is that moment, so enjoy this shitpost of two of my favorite characters Raph with a little Foxy in the background. It may be a bit crude but I believe it best shows how much I love the character Rise gave to me.
