China would happily sacrifice Bliss if it got her everything she’d ever wanted.
Bliss would never sacrifice her if offered everything he’d ever wanted.

man the romance options in rogue trader are something else. like how am I supposed to choose between:
1) imperial interrogator who tortures people for a living. ruthless, uptight, cold, secretly kind of sweet and protective, SO tired of your shit. will disappear your companions if you ask him to without hesitation and also also recommends blowing up a planet as the best course of action at one point
2) literally the main villain of act 2. cenobite torture alien. you can be his pet or you can make him your pet. branding is involved. everyone else on your crew is horrified by this. he is not redeemed at all, he is still very much evil. He makes you worse and will kill your crew members
I love the difference from bg3 where these are just like… very much not good guys at heart LMAO

@tes-summer-fest Day 5: Forgotten
A few weeks ago I was talking to someone (shoutout @kee-vee) about the implications of the Tribunal turning Nerevar into a bonewalker after he died, and how apparently that little piece of Nerevar lore got lost to the ages. Like, imagine if he's still roaming around in some long forgotten tomb, and imagine the mindfuck of the Nerevarine stumbling upon him.
Based on the image of Nerevar on his shrine in Morrowind:

Kiss Me in Komorebi+ 🌸
[ Second Vacation: Keaton! ]
What better way to end the night than with your mom’s special recipe for asado and testing the waters of what cuddling on the couch might feel like? 👀 These two are very flirtatious, and maintained a steady Flirty moodlet almost the entire night.
There’s a subtle ease in their interactions, a comfortability in their joking, flirtatious vibe: maybe it’s being outside of the pressure of the house and it’s gaggle of contestants, but Keaton’s had no problem letting Daniel know just how interested in him he is!
Part 3 of 6 🌹

Okay, I might be making myself a target here, but I don’t like misinformation and I’ve been seeing this frequently now that loads of people are talking about The Celestial Toymaker:
The character is NOT in yellow-face.
They did not alter his skin tone to try to appear Asian. They did nothing to his physical features, such as his eyes, to try to appear Asian. He does nothing with his voice that tries to emulate any kind of accent. His skin, his voice, his everything, is just Michael Gough.
Please compare him to the other white characters:
Same skin color as them. He is clearly not made up to look like anything other than what he is. The only makeup here is stage makeup that you can’t even see.
Now compare to Michael Gough outside of this role:
Exactly the same as he is as the Toymaker.
The only undeniably Asian thing here is his outfit, which certainly isn’t enough to make the claim that he himself was supposed to be. The Toymaker’s entire realm is made up of a variety of things from Earth that he as a godlike alien entity has no connection to.
(As an aside, to cover my bases, I’ve also been hearing that “celestial” was a derogatory term towards Asians and that therefore he must have been meant to be himself and so the entire character is a racist concept, but I doubt the creators were thinking anything besides “otherworldly”, “ethereal”, or “exalted” and so on when they used the word, and if they were, then at the very worst it would be a play on words about his outfit — not his race — that may have been in poor taste, but not malicious. Old things can be outdated and even wrong without bad intent. You’ve got to give people some grace and the benefit of the doubt, especially when they’re not around to defend themselves for being products of their own time.)
If the only concrete thing you have to argue against the character is his clothing, that’s not yellow-face. All it takes is one look at any of his in-color set photos to see what he looks like — although it shouldn’t even be necessary, because in black and white it’s still obvious he’s not been made up to look any different.
TLDR: The Toymaker was not meant to be Asian, and Michael Gough was not in yellow-face.

@autisticempathydaemon said they loved my Angel listener (along with everything else it was SO SWEETTT OMLLL<333) so here’s a doodle for you! They’re also one of my favorites!
Look at that face.
Full of mischief.
Some fun facts about them: they’re native! Specifically they could be from the Salishan (but I don’t know too much so I leave it ambiguous) and are half Filipino, born and raised in British Columbia, Canada around Vancouver. They were raised by their mom and brothers, then moving to dahlia for college.
They originally planned to secure a high end job in Vancouver just going to California for school but they met David. They still visit their family as often as they can.
They’re 5’4, the shortest listener! Aklag is still beefy and could definitely throw David over their head. Their callouses are from being raised on a farm, and they’re starting to fade now.
I took them out of another story I made a while ago so I’m still trying to tweak them seamlessly so I’ll actually maybe probably not but make a backstory sheet for my listeners?
Thank you sm for your words and I hope you like it!

I’m usually of the “why adapt something if you’re going to change it to the point of unrecognizability” but (a) the Bridgerton series is an unusual case because the episodic romance novel series is not something that has been adapted to TV before (to my knowledge) and (b) Eloise’s book is probably in my bottom ten romance novels ever, and definitely in my bottom twenty. So I think they should just make her gay.
