I'm laughing emotional that Superbat is going viral. Like if it were a few years ago we would see bad comments about the ship and something like that. I'm really happy with the hype of the couple even though I don't ship them both that much (I'm in my Batlantern era) OMG it's so good to see Bruce/Batman being loved with other dynamics.!

The only design detail from the upcoming Superman movie (that we know about) that I can't figure out the reason for is the main Superman logo. Why a gold Kingdom Come logo?

What we know about the film so far is that this is supposed to be a more "traditional" Superman story about Clark reconciling his Kryptonian heritage and his human upbringing. With that in mind, I can easily find plot reasoning for most of the design.
The bright colors, trunks, and shield on the back: traditional Superman and possible connection to Earth.
The space/tech lines, armor sections, high collar, and uniform-esque structure: Kryptonian military uniform.
I can easily bullshit justifications for most of the design, except the logo. In Kingdom Come, Superman wears a strange, black and red logo to show his mourning. Specifically, to show that there is still hope in death (though, it may actually be a symbol of revenge or war, but I'll explain later). If you've seen the Arrowverse crossover Crisis On Infinite Earths, you already know this. This explanation is obviously not what this film is doing. This is a young Superman, still coming to terms with his origins, so he's not mourning the loss of everyone close to him. This is why the logo is gold and not black, but why keep the rest of it? I see three, probably obvious explanations.

The first explanation is that the new film or series takes thematic or narrative elements from the comic. In Kingdom Come, Superman retires after the Joker attacks the Daily Planet, killing Lois and the rest of his supporting cast, and the public celebrates a violent vigilante killing him. After these new generation of vigilantes cause the destruction of Smallville (it might have been the entire state of Kansas, which is kind of funny, but I read this book at my local library years ago, so I'm choosing the less extreme option), he comes out of retirement with a new Justice League to reestablish the tradition notion of heroism, though Batman believes Superman is simply looking for revenge. We know that in the new film, a strange version of, what appears to be, the JLI that may be funded by Maxwell Lord is in this film and we know that an authority film is coming, so maybe this new Superman will be introducing, what we would call, a more traditional form of heroism to this already established universe. It would certainly be an interesting, bold statement to make after the last decade of "subversive" takes on Superman.
It could be because this shield is harder to read than the traditional one. If the movie is about tackling Kal-El, the Kryptonian, vs Clark, the human, and this is still the symbol of the House of El, then maybe this symbol was picked because it looks less like an "s", making it feel more alien. Maybe it is a symbol of Krypton in Earth colors.
Or maybe, just maybe, they just liked the Kingdom Come logo. Maybe they wanted to set this Superman apart from other versions and pick a logo from the comics that they liked. Superman and Lois is using the traditional logo, My Adventures with Superman is using something similar to the electric logo, and the DCEU used a variant of the 40's logo, so they looked at what was left and chose their favorite. It wouldn't be the first time they used a logo for no reason (why the fuck did the DCEU Superman use the 40's logo).
Who knows, I'm probably wrong. I just know that I'm currently mixed on the suit overall and trying to sort out my feelings on it. What ya think?

Oh, hey... Guess it's time for me to say something on tumblr about DC that's not a popular opinion...
So, I finally watched the Superman teaser. Casting looks great, loving the vibes and filming choices, looks promising in a lot of ways.
The only problem is... that's entirely too many characters for what is functionally a first movie's first teaser. I love seeing my less popular faves get to be in a movie, however... you put a small Justice League in a trailer that's only a few minutes long. That doesn't show that you're confident that you've made a good Superman movie, that shows that you got so caught up in playing catchup with the now flagging MCU that even your first teaser has to rely on cameos.
Like... I'm eventually gonna watch this movie and hope it's good, no matter how bitter I still am about Batgirl being canned, Batman Beyond being shelved before it even got finished writing, and all the other Warner-Discovery CEO greed fueled BS. And I'm gonna be giddy to see the blorbos from my comics that haven't gotten to be in big screen stuff before. But I think we've seen the pattern before, and slapping the name of "guy that made a few movies work when nobody saw it coming" on this doesn't change that they're still following that same pattern.
I do still think the casting looks fantastic, I'm just reasonably skeptical about them making a good first Superman movie that also introduces general audiences to Guy Gardner without making something feel half-baked. And to a lesser degree, the number of other characters as well, as they're not as hard to see the appeal of, but large casts in 2-3 hrs tends to mean someone gets left behind or everyone is cookie cutter.
#dc comics#superman#superman 2025#They're really exciting cameos tho. I get it#And I hope I'm wrong#I just feel like a lot of opinions I've seen on this have acted like this teaser exists in a frictionless vacuum#Instead of ya'know... the current state of DC movies#I wish it existed in a vacuum tho. Would be so excited about everything in that teaser without outside context. I'm a bit excited regardles

I LOVE HOW YOU CAN SEE THIS IN THE TRAILER!!!
When he's Superman, his hair is obviously slicked back, making it obvious that he's playing the part of Superman, but at the Planet his hair is just as much pulled forward - it LOOKS natural at first glance but would actually have to be specifically styled like that. But when he's with Pa in Smallville he doesn't have either of those styles, his hairs messy but he's letting it sit naturally. He's not The Superman, or Mild-Mannered Clark. He's just...himself.
OH my God James Gunn Understands
I'm sofuckin hyped

Superman (2025) is what I want in a Superman movie
"People excited about the new Superman movie don't care about comic accuracy and realistic takes on the character". Snyder fans, it's ok if you liked his Clark Kent but don't make it something it was not (comic accurate and realistic).
Snyder's Superman is closer to being an Injustice type take on the character than an in depth exploration of how Superman would be like if he existed in our world the way it is and if you think Injustice is in some way that, I couldn't disagree more. When DC writers do these "What if this character was evil" type stories, Superman is so often chosen as the main villain not because there's some clear darkness inside him that needs to be explored, but because he's the character who'll shock the reader the most, he's the character you have the hardest time believing would ever turn, because of everything he represents, because of who Clark Kent is.
I also have a very hard time agreeing with the idea that exploring Superman's morality is somehow a complex bold topic to focus on. I find it to be the complete opposite. When you have a character who is as "perfect" as he is, it's a lot harder to find ways to explore vulnerability and the best Superman stories are the ones that manage to do it. Deciding that your Superman is gonna kill people to me is a cheap way of getting the conflict you need in a story and it's lazy because you're not trying to develop the character, you're creating a new one instead.
Personally, I'm very tired of these darker portrayals of Superman. I don't want a Superman whose main dilemma is "Is it ok if I snap this person's neck if I'm in this specific scenario?". I want a Superman whose main frustration is people overlooking all the good he does because he isn't human or because they think bureaucracy and public image is more important than saving actual lives. I don't want a Superman whose enemies want to take him down because they see him as a god. I want Superman's enemies to take him down because they hate who he is, not because he's powerful but because they think who he is doesn't make him worthy of having power, because they hate the values he stands for. In general, I don't want a Superman who is a god, I want to see Superman having vulnerable moments, not simply him being hurt by kryptonite, but also him dealing with actual emotions that aren't just hate or anger. I don't want a Superman who doesn't bleed and never needs help, I want a Superman who has his parents, Lois, Jimmy, Krypto and other heroes by his side, who are there for him when he needs them because he does need them. I don't want a moody Superman, I want to see goofy Clark Kent and Clark doesn't just vanish when he puts on the suit. And yes I want bright colors in my Superman movie damn it. I love watching superhero movies and feel like I'm looking at a classic comic, arrest me if that's a crime.
I want Superman to be the character who always does good, I want Superman to be a symbol of hope. These things don't make him boring, bad writing does.
Once again, Snyder fans you can like darker versions of the character, you can want different things for Superman than I do, but you have to realize most people won't agree with you, because it's not who Superman is. All this harassment, all these campaigns against the new Superman movie won't take you anywhere, not only because of the many lines you're crossing, which is the biggest problem, but also because you're not just trying to defend your preferred take on the character, you're trying to erase almost 90 years of Superman history.

Here's what it says above again for convenience:
DC Nation Spotlight on Absolute Flash
In 2024, DC shocked the comics world with the introduction of the Absolute Universe and the launch of the smash-hit series Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and Absolute Superman.
Now it's 2025, and the evolution continues with three new series set in the Absolute Universe, starting with Absolute Flash from the acclaimed team of writer Jeff Lemire and artist Nick Robles. In Absolute Flash, readers will meet a Wally West finding his way as a hero in a very different world with the odds decidedly stacked against him.
In advance of Absolute Flash #1, here's a look at Lemire's mission statement for the series, along with early concept sketches by Robles.
Unlike the Flashes of the main DC Universe, our Wally West will not be bound by legacy or tied to any lineage of speedsters. He is completely alone, with no frame of reference for what is happening to him. The powers he has been given are not an instant gateway to adventure, but rather they are often terrifying. Wally has no idea what's happening to him and has no one to turn to.
The Speed Force is a major element of the Flash mythology, and something that ties all the DCU speedsters together. But the origin of Absolute Wally's powers will not be connected to the Speed Force in any way. The Absolute Universe has no Speed Force.
Wally's power comes from a mysterious entropic energy source, and every time he uses it, he leaves chaos in his wake, the laws of physics breaking down around him. He is a kid whose life is spinning out of control and who is struggling to control his new abilities. These powers manifest as a sort of sci-fi body horror, twisting and distorting his body in terrifying ways.
Our first year of stories will be very much about Wally's journey as he slowly learns to control and understand what's happening to him.
DON'T MISS ABSOLUTE FLASH #1, ON SALE IN MARCH!
Oh I have so many thoughts about this... Making him connected to an entropic force as opposed to the Speed Force is fascinating to me. Sounds like making it basically the opposite of the Speed Force frankly. I will say that the whole exploration of him being unable to control his powers is of slight concern just because that's been done so much to assassinate his character but! this is a new universe so I am only a little concerned. A Wally who has absolutely no one, not the illusion of someone with his parents or the actual presence of Iris and Barry is so interesting. I wonder what that means about what happens with the older man we see him talking to.
The body horror angle is also very interesting because everyone has been commenting on his gender presentation and honestly going that direction with the powers makes me wonder if we'll get a bit of a gender dysphoria angle. Could be stretching but I do feel like there's a distinct possibility.
I have seen a few theories about the monkey being Grodd or Krakkel. Honestly I'm excited to find out who it is.

Tamlin Week 2025 is now officially on its way, so we the moderators would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves!
Library Clerk by Day, Writer by Night
Hello! I'm Lady Midnight, and I go forth and share my stories at @goforth-ladymidnight. (I also stay up too late, and use too many parentheses for my own good.) I've been passionate about stories and storytelling since I was just a wee young thing, and I channel a lot of that energy into the essays I write to promote Tamlin Week! This will be my third year moderating, and the creativity that crosses my dash will never cease to amaze me. ❤️ You guys are the best.
While Lucien is my favorite (shh, don't tell), Tamlin holds a very special place in my heart. I adore Beauty and the Beast stories, and I look forward to sharing more about our favorite beastly boy in the months to come! ❤️
Lady Midnight uses She/Her pronouns.
Reyna, Gremlin of the Sea
I'm Reyna at @praetorqueenreyna! I started writing fic in 2020 and have been hooked ever since. This is my third year running Tamlin Week with Lady Midnight, and I'm so excited for this year! I'm a chronic Unpopular Character enjoyer, so it's no surprise I latched onto Tamlin. I've worked on the sea for almost a decade, and love all kinds of weird creachers (fish, sharks, slugs, snakes, lizards, spiders, EVERYTHING) both dead and alive.
Reyna uses She/Her pronouns.
Mathi, the Marquess of Memes
It's a bird, it's a plane... No, it's me, Mathi!
You may know me as @highlordofkrypton or even as @acotar-memes. I'm the newest addition to the team, and the resident gamemaker 😏 Tamlin Week is my favourite time of the year, and I cannot wait for a week-long party celebrating my favourite boi with my favourite community! (Don't tell the other mods, but I'm actually here to try and bribe ya'll for Superman & Tamlin crossovers shhhhhhhhhh 😈)
Keep an eye out the following weeks because I've got some fun stuff lined up for you, my beautiful, beautiful people!
Mathi uses She/Her pronouns.
We look forward to celebrating with you all!
P.S. If you'd like to make your own Picrew icon, you can find the one we used here.

I’m so excited for sweetie pie Superman!!!
He’s been a real Debbie downer lately, glad to see him go back to his roots!! I wonder how Clark would react to lux crossing over to his world and causing mischief 😏
YESSSSS oh you continue to have excellent taste Tedd!!! i couldn't agree with you more 🥺🥺 i'm so new to Superman (only got into him very early this year) and just can't imagine loving him as anything other than a symbol of hope!! Christopher Reeve is the ultimate Superman to me, and i'm so so excited that Superman 2025 seems to have David Corenswet as his spiritual successor 🙈💖 omg that would be SUCH a fun crossover 🙈💖 especially as Superman gets his power from solar energy!! a light-based god would be quite an excellent adversary right? 😉

I'm actually losing it over all the Superman updates. I usually don't track movies this closely before they're released but I've also never been so excited for a movie before in my life. I don't even care if it bombs, I'm going to have such a good time in July 2025.

So, overall thoughts on 2024 Superman stuff, and hopes for 2025?
Pretty good year for Superman with a few exceptions.

Obviously the biggest news on the comic side is the launch of Absolute DC, with a new incarnation of Superman as part of the first wave. DC finally does a proper "Ultimate" line and surprise, surprise, it's a success! Who could've predicted that a new line without DC's messy mainline continuity weighing things down would connect with people (me that's who)? I've loved every issue thus far, Aaron's creation of a working class Superman in the vein of both Siegel/Shuster and Morrison/Morales has been a welcome sight, and the worldbuilding done plus the changes to the usual formula has me excited to see where he intends to go. Ironic that after all the back and forth with various new Supermen meant to replace Clark as the Superman for the 21st century (Jon, Val, Kenan), the comics, film, and animation divisions ended up simply doing revamps of Clark to fill that space. Also Sandoval's art is amazing, if he stays on the title he will definitely go down as a definitive Superman artist when all is said and done.
Williamson's run dipped at the start of the year with the underwhelming conclusion to the Pharm and Graft storyline, but I enjoyed House of Brainiac and the Absolute Power tie-ins. Mora joining on art, Williamson cutting back on how many titles he was writing, and a number of genuinely surprising plot twists has reinvigorated my enthusiasm for this book. Part of why I'm so hard on Waid (more on that below) is that Williamson is doing a far superior job at what Waid is trying: mixing together the DCAU with Silver Age tone and Modern Age characterization/stakes. Current rumor is that both Superman and Batman are getting relaunched in 2025, which could mean the end of Williamson's tenure is in sight. If so I hope Williamson can deliver a satisfying resolution to the Zod and Lex storylines he's set up.
Superstars has on the whole been inferior to the best of PKJ's Action, although I can admit that the book declined steeply post Warworld for reasons I don't believe are PKJ's fault, but I did enjoy Aaron and Simone's arcs. Aaron wrote one of my favorite Bizarro arcs and Simone perfectly captured how Superman feels about fighting imo.
Downside has to be Waid's fall off. If you had asked me to pick who out of the Superstar writers would be the weakest, I would never have picked Waid, but that's what happened. His handling of the Aethyr plotline PKJ set up was dreadful, his sanitizing of Jor-El only made the character worse, to the point I actually dropped the book because of that decision. World's Finest began strong this year with the Magog arc, but has since started to feel like filler and driven me to drop that book too. Now it's just JLU (which I'm unsure if I'll continue to read) and LDoLL (which I actually do remain excited for). Waid's schtick has grown stale for me, tragic irony being is that he seems to have grown disenchanted with his own style as well per his comments on BluSky in the wake of Trump's re-election. We'll have to see if that results in any actual shakeups to his writing approach.

Already dove deep into the trailer and poster here, only thing to add is that at the time of this post, the trailer has hit 50 million views, the lifetime total of the third MoS trailer which was the most popular MoS trailer. Folks if Gunn delivers a film on par with his Guardians trilogy, I think this is going to be the breakout hit of the summer even with Jurassic World and F4 for competition
S&L S4 largely seems to have satisfied the fans of the show and as I thought, has seemingly been forgotten in the wake of marketing for Gunn's reboot beginning. Suppose that's fitting given the DC CW shows by and large always had to toil in the shadow of whatever WB was doing with the characters on the film side. Nice full circle moment that DC on the CW began and ended with a Superman show set in Smallville
MAWS S2 ruled, can't wait for S3. Wish more of you bought the tie-in comic which I thought was excellent and featured my man Bloodsport. Hopefully Gunn tosses some of that Creatures Commandos money this show's way.
SS: KTJL was a total bomb that appears to mark the end of DC pushing them. Apparently RS is haphazardly resurrecting the JL in cutscenes made on a shoestring budget but I genuinely wonder why. Conroy is dead so we probably won't get another Arkham Batman game, the WW game features a different WW, and none of the other Leaguers are ever getting their own game. I am totally fine with Arkham Superman staying dead, only NRS did a worse job handling the character, and I absolutely would not want to play a Superman game that had to try and salvage the mess RS made of Superman and his setting. In the unlikely scenario where we ever did get a new Superman game, it would probably be either off on it's own world or congruent with the Wonder Woman game anyway.
Looking Ahead to 2025

Don't feel hyperbolic in proclaiming that next year will be the most important year for Superman since 1978. This is likely the last chance we have to get WB to push Superman back up there with Batman and Spider-Man the way he was decades ago.
Obviously the biggest hope for me is that Gunn's Superman movie is a critical and commercial success. Even if I don't love it personally I would still benefit from that. If it succeeds it reaffirms to WB that Superman is a money-maker, and that would lead to more Superman projects in animation, comics, film, etc. MAWS would be more likely to get more seasons. Wonder Woman got a video game off of her first movie being a hit. Anyone who wants that for Superman has to root for this film to be a hit.
Comics wise if Williamson is leaving then I'd prefer someone other than Slott took over. Totally fine with Slott getting Action, but I'd prefer Williamson either stay or we get someone like Dan Watters handling writing duties. I cannot wrap my mind around DC potentially relaunching Superman for a past his prime Marvel creator again. But better him than Taylor I suppose, who I expect will be getting one of the books next year.
Speaking of Taylor I hope Injustice 3 is at least one more year off. It's less cancerous for the character with the movie, Absolute Superman, and MAWS in the picture but I still hate that franchise with every fiber of my seething fanboy heart. DC needs to get people to like Supes and Injustice solely exists to dump on him and Wondy while wanking Batman. Let's not remind people of childkiller fascist Muderman while trying to reintroduce Superman to the general public ok?
Can't wait for PKJ's book, with that and Absoute I will at least have two Superbooks to read no matter how things shake out with the mainline
For S3 of MAWS I am crossing my fingers for Zod in addition to Lex. I want a Superman cartoon that has the Big 3 (Lex, Brainiac, and Zod) all together, and the tease they've done about Krypton's fate has my mind scrambling over all the possibilities. Mostly I'm interested to see how they would differentiate a MAWS Zod from their Brainiac who already shares some traits in common with "classic" Zod. I'd also like a more traditional Metallo but it kinda seems like they'll be making Henshaw into Metallo based on the new opening shot of the baddies.
Seems likely Kara will get a new book, I wish it would be a team-up book with Kon. I liked their dynamic in HoB!
Would be cool if Kenan got something written by a good writer but I'm not holding my breath

2025 doesn't look any less intense for Skarsgård. First up is the hostage drama "Dead Man's Wire", directed by Gus Van Sant. Following that, he will begin work on "Lords of War" alongside Nicolas Cage — a sequel to the 2005 film Lord of War. In an exclusive update to MovieZine.se, Skarsgård shared some insights into his upcoming projects.
- It looks like it's going to be a pretty busy year, with some darker roles in the mix as well, Bill says with a laugh.
- Next up, I'll be working with Gus Van Sant. We start shooting in January. It's a dark comedy — a dramedy. It's a very demanding and intense role. I seem to get stuck with roles like that; the ones that are extremely challenging. I guess I'm wired in a way that, if it's a slippery slope, I start climbing.
After that, is it time for "Lords of War"? What can you tell us about the film?
- I'm really looking forward to "Lords of War". It's planned for later in 2025. It's a dark comedy, and I'm excited about it. The character is somewhat reminiscent of "Clark" — a self-centered sociopath who's an absolute asshole but still quite fun.
What about major blockbusters? Is that something that would appeal to you? There were rumors you were considered for the role of Lex Luthor in Superman, right?
- No, no one ever contacted me about that. That was just a media rumor.
- I really hope "Nosferatu" can become a blockbuster. I think Nosferatu has the potential to be one. It's extremely arthouse, it's very scary, but at the same time, it's also quite conventional — it's the Dracula story we all know by heart. It's a horror movie, and it's getting a wide release, so I hope it finds a large audience. Horror is always best experienced in the cinema.

So, I just heard about Chris Evans coming back.
And I realize that I gave up (the rest of the way) on the mcu the second they announced the supposed release date for fantastic 4.
I've probably talked about this before, but I don't really care, I'm talking about it now, too.
At SDCC this past july, the fantastic 4 movie hadn't started filming. it started the week after.
Despite that, the release date is June 2025. And we all know that won't happen.
A lot of people brush that off and say they do that to build excitement.
But that doesn't change the fact that they rush the people who work for them, especially those aren't actors and the actors who aren't white males. We've heard from people who have worked for them on special effects and such. We know what they're like.
And we alk know why they announced the date as being in July.
Because Superman also comes out in July. And Superman is why I gave up on marvel. Because while marvel/fantastic hadn't even STARTED filming, Superman had already finished with filming and moved to the next stage of creating the movie.
And I realized it was obvious who cared about the content they were putting out & the people who worked for them
All marvel does is bank on nostalgia and use maybe half-fleshed out ideas that don't connect from one thing to the next.
The reason why some movies and shows are still good on their own is because of the people behind those individual movies & shows who care. And I will continue with some stuff for people like them, but only on a limited basis depending on what I feel like watching, who is involved with different projects, and what they are about.
Because I don't have super hero fatigue. I have MARVEL FATIGUE.
#marvel#chris evans#no hate to him or rdj necessarily#i don't feel much either way about them in this situation#mcu#marvel mcu#avengers doomsday#fantastic 4#fantastic four#rant#thoughts#mcu fatigue#marvel fatigue#marvel comics#james gunn#dc comics#superman#superman 2025#lots of different things involved here

FILMS OF 2025 I AM MOST EXCITED AND HYPED FOR
Captain America: Brave New World

FRI, FEB 14, 2025 They're saying this has Winter Soldier vibes and homage, the Russo Brother's are producing this so I do have some hope for it, but there is a lot of mixed reactions to this thus far. Each new bit gives me more and more high hopes.
A Minecraft Movie

FRI, APR 4, 2025 This is purely for my autistic kids they love the game and I'm a Jason Mamoa and Jack Black fan so there's that. Think some are giving it too harsh of a reception.
The Accountant 2

FRI, APR 25, 2025 Have autistic kids and we loved the first one so much. I personally feel this is one of Ben Affleck's best performances because this is not as easy a role people think it is and he did a fantastic job at it. Intrigued where Christian Wolfe has been.
Thunderbolts*

FRI, MAY 2, 2025 Of all the Marvel stuff this is what I'm most excited for, but F4 is a close, CLOSE second. Just seeing Bucky back in full capacity action and not a mediocre supporting role. Excited for the return of Yelena, Ghost and Red Guardian but don't really care for Walker or Taskmaster right now. Can't stand Valentina. And Bob is GREAT!
Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning

FRI, MAY 23, 2025 Dead Reckoning is my top 3 of being the best Mission Impossible movie. I'm a HUGE fan of the very first and it's style, Mission Impossible 3 then topped it and I haven't really loved the franchise since, till Dead Reckoning and it blew me away so I have high hopes for this part 2/sequel.
Ballerina

FRI, JUN 6, 2025 John Wick is mine and my husband's date movie, whenever one comes out we go on a date just the two of us. So we're going to continue the tradition with this film. I'm hopeful for it to do well but I'm not quit "pumped" as I would be for a John Wick film yet.
Superman

FRI, JUL 11, 2025 This trailer made me cry, I had unshed tears nearly the whole time just from the trailer music, the electric guitar with the original Richard Donner theme had goosebumps on my skin and chills down my spine guys, INTENSE! I feel like this movie will bring the DCU back into the picture. It's going to have competition with The Fantastic Four: First Steps ANOTEHER world changing film possibly.
The Fantastic Four: The First Steps

FRI, JUL 25, 2025 Very hyped for this movie because it's the first Multiverse Saga film I feel is going to REALLY bring us into the Multiverse with all sorts of characters, like an X-Men character possibly. This coming out in the same month, within a week...records gallore.
Nobody 2

FRI, AUG 15, 2025 It was like watching my husband if someone messed with our kids so we love it!
Saw XI

Fandom things I'm excited for the rest of 2025
- Stranger Things Season 5
- Httyd live action (don't come for me yet, y'all haven't seen it either)
- Wicked For Good
- The Superman movie
- Continuing my journey reading a whole bunch of danmeis (Working through reading tgcf, mdzs, and thousand autumns)
- and a so-far secret project with @per4mancecheck!
It feels so good to be returning to fandom again. On the one hand I never left and on the other hand, I haven't enjoyed anything this freely in ages. Feels like coming home. Like life can be and is good again.
