lost phineas and ferb episode where perry is called to investigate what dr doofenshmirtz is up to because carl the intern got ahold of some intel that doof has been seen speaking to lawyers and looking up the endangered species act at internet cafes and as major monogram says, "something fishy is going on"

meanwhile phineas and ferb's subplot of "i know what we're gonna do today!" is that isabella needs her environmentalist fireside girls badge so they start researching which species are in urgent need of help in the tri-state area so that they can use new cloning and gene therapy technologies to bring at-risk animals back from extinction

(yes there is a c-plot where buford and baljeet argue the ethics of this idea, i don't have time to explain it all for you rn)

we cut back to🎵doofenshmirtz evil incorporated🎵where we see perry carefully maneuvering around doofenshmirtz's lab scared he might fall into a trap but he hasn't set off a single booby trap and it's clear something is off

he runs into doofenshmirtz and goes to kick him in the gut action movie style but doof steps back one overly confident and says, "nuh uh uh, you see perry the platypus, you are TRAPPED! by the danville section of the endangered species act of 1973!"

doof goes on to explain his tragic backstory: "you see, perry the platypus, when i was a child my parents did not show up for my own birth! but you know that already, yadda yadda yadda they did not love me and then they loved roger more, ANYways i was raised by ocelots! i had a lovely foster mother who took me in and made me one of the pride, and so you see, perry the platypus, i am still legally considered an ocelot. did you know that there are only 50 recorded ocelots still alive in the continental united states? very sad for me as a member of a near-extinct species. it would be immoral for you to hurt someone critically endangered... in fact, you have made many attempts on my life this summer"

"which is why i have decided to bring you... TO COURT!" we cut back to phineas and ferb's back yard where they've decided to start cloning ocelots in their kiddie pool

candace storms outside enraged and says, "phineas and ferb are you cloning ocelots in my duckie momo kiddie pool!?"

ferb's one line of the episode is "well, i guess it's more of a kitty pool, now"

candace storms away saying, "i'm going to tell mom!" and isabella turns to phineas and says, "oh, does your mom have experience in wildlife conservation?"

we cut back to the doof and perry plotline where the two are now in the danville hall of justice and we learn that doof has spent his monthly alimony check on a defense lawyer and perry turns and sees the lawyer and then vanessa helping her organize her briefcase and perry chitters at her and vanessa shrugs and says, "i'm thinking about going into legal defense. sorry perry."

the rest of the doof and perry b-plot is spent in court and perry is about to ask for a public defense lawyer when carl runs into the room and explains that he's owca's official legal defense and perry looks at him like, "uhhh is that even allowed?"

it doesn't matter because apparently the judge is out sick today but because it's danville roger's the judge now because he's the mayor and everyone loves him.

the court case continues.

meanwhile phineas and ferb have successfully cloned multiple ocelots from the original ocelot dna they had on hand and isabella asks phineas if these clones will experience health problems like premature aging, phineas casually explains that ferb figured out the problem while they were experimenting with stem cell harvesting.

back in the courtroom, doof's ocelot foster mother has been brought to the stand along with an ocelot to english translator. doof gets emotional seeing her after so long. she says that he was one of her favorite child and he was as strong a hunter as anyone else in the family. it's incredibly sweet. the jury's in tears.

meanwhile, isabella has established connections with a group in texas who are going to release the ocelots back into their natural habitat and, using the cloned ocelots to prevent inbreeding, help establish an ocelot breeding program. the group explains that they are going to send a helicopter to retrieve the cloned ocelots from danville and bring them to texas soon.

isabella gets her fireside girls badge.

candace manages to get mom to see the backyard only after the ocelots have been helicoptered off to coastal texas, their primary habitat.

mom makes it into the backyard as phineas stares wistfully over the fence and says, "if you love something, you have to let it go." candace goes, "look mom look look look!" and points at the ducky momo kiddie pool, devoid of cloned ocelots, where baljeet and buford are now chilling out, having settled their philosophical debate about the ethics of animal cloning.

back in the courtroom drama, doof looks like he's about to win when an attendant walks into the courtroom and whispers something in roger's ear.

roger looks up, grinning, and says, "good news, everyone! my attendant here has just enlightened me that ocelots are no longer considered critically endangered!"

this settles the case, with perry being decreed not guilty and the entire affair being called off. the courtroom cheers, roger walks over to doof and personally congratulates him on his species' return from the brink of extinction.

doof shouts, "curse you endangered species classification system!" at the ceiling of the danville hall of justice.

perry arrives back home just in time for mom to say, "who wants pie?"

formula 1 is happy to announce the arrive of new constructor team: the Royal Automobili Lamborghini-Andretti Formula 1 Team. They will be headed by Team Principal Michael Andretti.

They will be backed by high-end sponsors such as Dior, Armani, Hermes, Fendi, and Panerai.

However, we are saddened by the leave of the HAAS Formula 1 team. We wish them well as they are planning to enter next year's IndyCar Championship.

gonna answer these 2 together ૮ • ﻌ - ა

peklo is a project that started with this small prototype i made for a gamejam https://sukinapan.itch.io/peklo (it's in spanish only though). you're trapped in a weird virtual city named peklo, from which no one is allowed to leave. you talk to others there and find there's some sort of entity called guppy that you can appeal to to be let out, but no one knows how.

it was inspired by a similar nightmare i had, where the name of the city was a mixture between "garden" and "hell", so i understood it to be some sort of afterlife limbo. for the game i called the city peklo because it means hell (in slovak) but it also sounds misleadingly cute to my spanish speaking ears. this was where i started experimenting more with photo backgrounds and sad low poly bunnies.

i'd been wanting to expand on this small prototype for a while, and my friends from my studio, smarto club, thought it was a good idea so we decided to develop it together under my direction. the gamejam version was a point and click because that's all i could manage back then, but this bigger version would be a 3D exploration world. i also made a protagonist for it which is this cat named kiku that i've been making a lot of art of.

i've already made some assets and a full script for a first demo of the game, but we haven't started official work on it. on one hand, we've been busy with bubblegum galaxy which is our main studio project rn, but we've also realized we may still lack the experience to make the game as complex as i'd like with our current programmer moving abroad. so what we're doing is a shorter, simpler 3D project first so that us artists in the team can become more independent. i think this may be the art the 2nd anon was asking about:

we haven't named it yet, but this will be a short game about a girl catching angels :)

i can't say i wasn't sad about not making the peklo demo right away, but i'm still excited for this project so i'm gonna give it my best and try to learn everything i need.

officially going insane rn: so I'm rewatching s1 and I just realised that Aziraphale actually says "I forgive you" TWICE in the first season. Once when Crowley says the great plan is horrible and suggests running away together for the first time ("may you be forgiven" "unforgivable is part of the job description") and when crowley apologises and says azira is stupid for wanting to talk to a higher authority over the issue ("you're usually so clever how can someone so clever be so stupid" "i forgive you") and both times it's a situation in which crowley asks for more than zira is willing to give "run away with me/join OUR side"/ "stop idealising heaven/god when they're so clearly not ideal" and usually when aziraphale says "i forgive you" what he means is "I'm not gonna do that (yet) and i forgive you for crossing that line before I was ready" (he never actually says "no" because he clearly knows that he should (and wants to) do those things but isn't ready for them and mad at crowley for bringing them to his attention).

And the sad thing is that most of the time, all Crowley is asking, is for Aziraphale to call the things what they are.

But part of aziraphales process is "doing the things but never calling them what they are" let me elaborate: "There is no OUR side" but "I thought we carved this existence out for OURselves" and "this is technically YOUR car just as this is technically MY bookshop (they're both OURS though)". He won't ever question god and heaven, he'll give away his sword and save the children anyways. He won't confess his love but he'll hypnotyse everyone at the shopkeepers meeting so can ask Crowley to dance.

In his mind: He can do whatever he wants as long as he doesn't have to call it anything that would indicate it strays from what he's supposed to do. If he can twist the words to describe it as something holy, he can do it, even if that doesn't actually describe what he's doing or why he's doing it.

But the thing is that Crowley doesn't care about sides and he doesn't care about others approval. He'd rather lie entirely in his reports back to hell about having dones stuff he actually didn't do (the spanish inquisition/ the french revolution) than to stretch the truth or bend words to make him technically speak the truth. He always did, which is partially also a reason why he fell. For him, that trait of his, saying those things out loud is the reason why he's a demon, it's what makes him "unforgivable"

Now he doesn't want that same fate for Aziraphale, which is also why he respects the "you go too fast for me" because Armageddon isn't about to come then and they're still stuck in certain limitations. In situations in which "calling it what it is" could also cause Aziraphale to become a demon, "unforgivable"

But as soon as the apocalypse is about to start or as soon as they're free from heaven and hell he asks Aziraphale to take the chance and just quit it.

In those situations he starts asking for what he knows Aziraphale wants to give, saying the things out loud they've been dancing around for centuries. "We're on OUR side (you never gave a fuck about the rules and the ideals of heaven, not since the day I met you, now just accept that you don't want to be a part of this and go with me like you always have)", "how can someone so clever be so stupid (you know that this won't work, you know that they won't change, please just accept what you already know and come with me)", and finally: "we're a team, a group, a group of the two of us and we spent our existence pretending that we aren't (need I say more? I mean he says it loud and clear: we're basically a couple and we both know it but we never call it what it is. Please call it what it is)"

But every single time everything he gets back is an "I forgive you" "I forgive you for saying that out loud, even though it's something unforgivable" and everytime he goes back to how things were before without further protest. They have a fight, Aziraphale "forgives him", they leave, they come back to each other with the things unchanged, they do it again. And every single time Crowley backs down and accepts the situation. He accepts the "forgiveness" for saying what Aziraphale can't.

Except for in s2 e6 because this time he refuses to call it anything but love. This time he won't back down and do what aziraphale wants him to do, which would be: become an angle, be forgiven.

Because if being an angle, if being forgiven, means bending the truth and dancing around words, means never getting to be on OUR side, means never getting to be an US, means never getting to say "I love you" to the one person that matters, then he doesn't want to be forgiven.

so he tells Aziraphale "don't bother"
