• You were really the only true friend he had in the base. He considered all the other mercs his friend too but, he knew they'd never really share that friendship. He felt appreciated, and had someone to talk to who would really listen to him, not finding him stupid like the others do.

• He didn't realize he fell for you. The last time he fell for someone he acted shy, aloof, awkward and honestly embarrassed himself a little. He never knew what to say. So it took him a while to figure out he liked you, because whenever you two spoke, words always came so easily to him.

• The day he truly does realize his feelings though, is a day like any other. Your team, victorious, going out for drinks at the local bar. Scout could never handle himself well to alcohol, and you didn't really seem to be a drinker either. You two were sitting outside for the most part, laughing and making fun of the other team, as well as you listened to him ramble on his accomplishments of the day.

• Though, something lingered on his mind. A question he really thought about for a while. He knew you wouldn't judge, so he asked you your opinion.

"How long do you think we're gonna have to do this for?"

• You turned to him, confused. He continues.

"Fighting. Like- how long do you think it'll take before it's over? I'm not sayin' I don't enjoy kicking the other teams ass or the money we get, but well- I don't know."

Anytime he asked this question, Spy, Demo, everyone in the team really, all just said "not to think about it and to do it until it's done." He was never satisfied with that answer.

He saw how you contemplated it for a moment, seeing a small smile curl onto your lips when you looked back at him to reply.

"I don't know. It's probably for a bit longer, I mean- it's been 2 years. Pretty sure there were mercs before us who fought for this stupid war.*

You paused, "Why? You wanna quit or something?"

He shook his head. "Quit being able to kill people for a bunch of money? No way! I just- I think of doing other stuff. We barely have any free time and I don't wanna do this stuff till I'm old or something. And I know old- just look at Spy. He's probably from the ice age or somethin'."

• You snorted, chuckling a little at his comment. He smiled, he always liked to see you laughing at his jokes, made him feel funnier than he really was. You mirrored his smile, turning to look at the road. The night was a bluish gray, a striking contrast to the liveliness and warmth the bar brought.

"I get it."

It went quiet, he wondered if that was it.

"I don't wanna grow old and retire from this job either. But I don't think it'll be so bad."

"Really? Why?" He asked.

• He saw the way you turned to look at him, that same smile he knew all too well, one side of your face shone so brightly under the bars lighting while the other side was slightly masked with moonlight. Your reply was so simple, but it made his heart race.

"You'll be there. And I guess having you around makes things less worse."

• He stared bashfully at you upon hearing those very words. His palms got sweatier than they usually did as he felt his chest tighten. You must've noticed, because you let out an embarrassed chuckle.

"Haha- that was corny as hell. Anyway, I'm gonna go get another pack of soda for us."

• You stood up and walked back to the bar, but he couldn't look away from where you sat before. His face felt warm, damn.

He didn't know what it was. Maybe it should've hit him sooner, the fact he had feelings for you. The fact that- whenever you pull him in for a hug, his heart beats a little bit faster. When you laugh with him he laughs just a little harder because your laugh is his favorite. That your playful fighting with each other, it really does mean a lot to him.

All he knew was from that day on, it became difficult to think of you without realizing everything it was he loved about you.

lean on me. jazzy, chill, dependable vibes are a very very wonwoo thing, actually, and that's what this entire song is about. it's laid back, and yet loving at the same time, caring and comfortable and ready to be by your side. it feels like a song you'd listen to while on a walk with him at night, his camera up to his eyes, his hand wrapped around yours.

247. it's romantic, but also a little wistful at the same time? elegant, yet nostalgic, thoughtful and sweet and like dancing across a glass lake. it's what woozi feels like, with his intelligence and how delicately he feels things. to be honest, a lot of the ballad-style, romantic earlier songs of svt fit him rlly well, but 247 even more so

hit song. it's a smooth feeling song, like running a cloth over a black marble countertop. honestly, finding a minghao vibe song is really hard for me, but some of their gentler songs seem to fit him, full of devoted, almost shy love that feels very minghao to me. that devotion, that softness and yet the determination also present feels like him

boomboom. purely based on the vibes of the song tbh, and the prominent drums and chromaticism of the melody feel like mingyu, along with the brass accents and the confidence and coolness is just all so very very there that it makes me think of mingyu practically almost instantly.

kidult. not only because his vocals in this song are both iconic and utterly incredible, but even its message is very dokyeom. it encapsulates his innate urge to help people, to heal people, to make sure they smile and that they know they're loved. it's a precious song, and a song about letting others know they're precious, and has me crying and smiling, just like dokyeom does.

'bout you. it's a devastatingly romantic song, like a simple, easy love. it's like the type of love with zero complications, just full of two people laughing and running through fields hand in hand and hearts full of love for one another. the entire song feels so fresh, almost citrusy, and never ever fails to bring a smile to my face. just like seungkwan, actually.

crush. im gonna be real with u i have no idea how to explain this one but yeah. crush gives me vernon vibes and idk, maybe it's the funky vibes of the song with its mild chromaticism that give me a vernon feeling, but yeah. vernon is crush. (maybe it's because that's what i have on him-)

Heyhey! Yes, I am that writer! I’m good, super busy with exams and finishing my research tho, but hopefully I’ll get some more free time again eventually. Yes, I accept both headcanons or drabbles (as long as it works with my story universe), but I’m VERY bad at actually finishing drabbles haha…

Okay so I LOVE Tenma and Shindou’s dynamic, so thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to ramble about it XD

Shindou and Tenma’s relationship is, in one word, complex. As we all know, Shindou at the start of the anime doesn’t particularly like Tenma because of his behavior towards soccer, for two reasons: he thinks Tenma is very naive and his thoughtless actions will not only get himself in trouble, but also everyone else (and at this point, if Shindou has to choose between the team he’s been a part of for a year and a kid he’s met a day ago, it’s not even a choice).

The second reason is that he understands. Shindou loves soccer too. In a prestigious family where achievement is everything, soccer sometimes felt like the only thing he could just do for fun, not because he had to be good at it. And he was good at it.

But Fifth Sector ruined it for him, and the only reason he hasn’t left the club yet is because he feels a responsibility towards his teammates and because this is the only way he still gets to do what he loves, even if it’s twisted. So when he meets Tenma - cheerful, bright-eyed, hopeful Tenma - he hates him. He sees himself in him. And he can’t stand to see that spark in Tenma’s eyes fade like it did for him, so he tries to push Tenma away, get him to quit, before he has to see that happening. Beyond that Shindou is having a very hard time in general and using Tenma as a… well, a punching bag, in a way. At the same time you’ve got Tenma, who doesn’t know the meaning of backing down, and is also not the type of person to fight back against the type of treatment Shindou is giving him.

Of course, eventually this starts to change; Shindou gains hope that maybe, just maybe they can do something against Fifth Sector, and once he’s made up his mind about something he’ll go all in. With Shindou and Tenma now on the same side, the previous tension in their relationship fades and they have the chance to get to know each other. Tenma is (sort of ironically) very shy and very enthusiastic, and his optimism brings Shindou out of his own depressive slump. It’s contagious, really.

Once Shindou stops targeting Tenma all the time, Tenma gains a new appreciation for him as well. He’s already a fanboy of anything soccer and Shindou’s plans, the way his mind works, blows him away - Shindou is easily the smartest person Tenma’s ever met, and for him to look at Tenma and treat him as a teammate, as someone to be acknowledged… that means a lot. Just like that, their relationship becomes much more amicable, and they bond over their shared love of soccer and their goal of defeating Fifth Sector. They’re, maybe not friends, but at least on friendly terms.

Then there is another important factor that influences the way they interact - the captain switch.

Several people have actually expressed their surprise at the two of them. Tenma essentially ‘replaced’ Shindou as captain, after all, so outsiders would expect Tenma to reject Shindou’s advice - to prove himself as the ‘real’ captain, instead of listening to the old one. Similarly, Shindou was expected to hold a grudge since he was replaced by a first-year. Except that’s about as far from the truth as you can get.

Tenma respects Shindou very much first as captain and later as strategist, and holds his opinion in high regard. Even after all the years they’ve known each other, Shindou is still the one he’ll turn to first when a decision needs to be made and he wants a second opinion. Even if he doesn’t necessarily ask for it, he’ll always listen if Shindou has something to add. Furthermore, Tenma has never wanted to be captain - the role was thrust upon him due to circumstances, and he agrees because his team asked him to, but he’s never seen himself as any sort of leader and if he could, he’d shy away from the responsibility. He’s also of the opinion that Shindou is a great captain - why would he need to be replaced?

Except, of course, Shindou gets injured so there isn’t really a choice in that. What does happen, however, is the decision the team made to have Tenma stay on as captain even after Shindou recovered - which was suggested by Shindou himself.

Because Shindou doesn’t like being captain.

He’s pretty good at it, but it stresses him out a lot. He’s a strategist first and foremost and being captain interferes with that. Shindou wants to make plans, analyze the world around him, observe and gather information but if he’s acting as captain he can’t do that, can’t retreat into his own head like that. He’s got a responsibility to the rest of the team and he always feels the pressure to be aware of them, lift their spirits, lead them, and if he’s too busy with his plans he can’t do that. He also does not see himself as the most empathetic individual - gauging the team’s mood, figuring out what to say, isn’t really instinctive for him. He can do it if necessary but it takes effort and he often second-guesses himself, and with a team so diverse and intense as Raimon, empathy is a must.

So to Shindou, being captain is a burden. He took the position because the team wanted him to and he doesn’t regret it, but once Tenma shows a pretty instinctual talent for it and has a few weeks to polish that talent - once it becomes clear how easy it is for the team to follow him - well, Shindou sees his chance and takes it. He’s the one to voice the thought first, and once he tells the rest of the team, they don’t see any reason to disagree.

Which is exactly why Shindou has no resentment towards Tenma for taking his position. Shindou can do what he likes most - strategize - and aid his team, all the while knowing Raimon is in the best possible hands. And beyond that; Shindou didn’t give up any of his authority in the team. If a decision has to be made, Raimon decides together. Shindou and Tenma are a duo when it comes to leading the team - Shindou makes the plans, Tenma inspires them to do what’s right and encourages them.

Tenma, despite first floundering under the responsibility, handles it well and Shindou (nor the other senpai) refuses to let him shoulder it alone. Tenma’s still just a first-year, after all, and like mentioned before, Shindou sees himself in him. Now more than ever. They both know what it’s like to become captain in their first year, to have the responsibility thrust upon them, and Shindou refuses to let Tenma struggle with it alone. He acts like a listening ear, always willing to lend advice if the younger asks for it, and although at first Tenma is quite hesitant (with Shindou being his senpai), he’s also very earnest and open.

Over time, they get to talking more and more, outside of club-related things. Shindou is the dependable smart friend Tenma can always come to with his issues, while Tenma is cheerful and optimistic and doesn’t really expect anything from Shindou, not like the rest of the world. Doesn’t expect perfect grades or being the best, and while it takes Shindou a while to let go of the mask, eventually Tenma becomes one of the few friends he can just completely be himself around. Shindou is much more relaxed now that he’s no longer the captain and the tension in Raimon that was present under Fifth Sector’s reign is gone, and it shows in his friendship with Tenma. They act crazy, or lazy, and just do things for fun because they want to. They, together with Tsurugi, have been dubbed the new Raimon Trio, and it just works. Their skills complement each other and they settle into a comfortable friendship and shared leadership over the team after Tenma’s first year.

Sure, it takes them quite a while to get to that point, both because they have unspoken issues between them originating from the start of the year, and because they need to learn to understand each other. There's the boundaries caused by Tenma's insecurities and Shindou's expectations for himself. It takes a while for Tenma to learn to depend on other people and for Shindou to learn to be patient and listen, something that's been driven out of him by years of expectation and responsibility. But they get there. Maybe not immediately, but once they do, their friendship is unbeatable and something they both cherish dearly.

As for headcanons…

They tease each other all the time. Tsurugi plays a part in this too. The three of them just full on snark whenever they have the chance (Tsurugi and Shindou especially like making fun of Tenma for being the shortest, Tenma and Shindou like making fun of Tsurugi when he’s pretending to be all cool, and Tenma and Tsurugi will never let an opportunity to mention Shindou’s dramatic tendencies go).

Tenma loves listening to Shindou playing the piano and once Shindou figures that out, he offers to play something whenever Tenma comes over to his house, to Tenma’s absolute delight.

They often discuss team matters, sometimes over video or phone call, and always end up sharing ideas for hissatsu techniques and strategies (either for themselves or their teammates). It’s actually why they’re so in sync and can pull off improvised moves so well; they share their ideas so often they know pretty well how the other thinks/works, and that shows when they’re in the middle of a match. Super convenient when you know your best friend has been designing a new super shot for WEEKS and is itching to try it out.

In the year Shindou goes to high school while Tenma’s still in middle school, they end up calling each other quite a lot, and they like to get ramen or bubble tea or ice cream after school if they’ve both got the time, since they can’t hang out anymore as easily. Soon they drag anyone in the team along if they’ve got time, but it’s a habit that started with just the two of them.

They have a standing agreement to disagree on whether cats or dogs are better.

Tenma has been known to drag Shindou out very early in the morning during weekends if he’s got plans, whether that’s soccer practice or for a walk or whatever they’ve planned this time. Shindou is NOT a morning person but it’s very hard to say no to Tenma.

His urges always seemed to come at the most inconvenient times.

He gets it. He's a young man in his prime. He has a really attractive traveling companion that he may or may not have major feelings for that his brain isn't quite ready to deal with in the aftermath of... Yeah. He's not ready to think about that.

He does however want to think about sweet, sweet relief.

It's been happening more and more lately where he's waking up just, stupid hard. When this would happen as a teenager it wasn't as big a deal. He could just tug it and be done and happily back to sleep within a few minutes, but now...

Well, now? He has you here, and that hardly seems appropriate. You're sleeping not even five feet from him, tucked into your sleeping bag all warm, and soft...and sweet...and hot...and he can't let his thoughts go further than that. It's not right to you.

Fuck. He actually whines a little out loud without meaning to then quickly claps a hand over his mouth.

He prays that didn't wake you up. Are you a light sleeper? He hopes not...

He stays deathly silent, listening for the soft, even sounds of your breathing before sighing in relief.

Okay. You're not awake.

Now for the more pressing problem.

Literally pressing.

He considers grinding softly against the inside of the sleeping bag... Maybe? He gives it a test and is quickly stilled when the vinyl of the fabric makes too-loud scraping sounds. Absolutely not.

He bites back another whine. How bad would it be if he just jerked off inside the sleeping bag. Really? If he looked away from you? He could just face away from you, then it wouldn't be like a real betrayal, right?

Arven huddles tighter in on himself, feeling like an absolute creep. He doesn't want to do that to you.

But then....maybe...what if you did catch him jacking off? Seeing him so horrendously, beautifully vulnerable? His hips quake a bit, involuntarily, and he bites back a choked sound before it fully escapes his throat.

No!

Fuck, Arven! He chides himself internally. Don't be a damned pariah. This is your best buddy you're thinking of. Your buddy who's been so good to you and seen you through so much! Who's helped you grow!

And now look at how much you've grown--STOP!

Arven tosses and turns, his legs cricketing within the sleeping bag, and oh that does kinda do something unintentional because then he full on groans without entirely meaning to into the open night air.

"A-Arven?!"

He chokes on an inhale, his eyes flying open. He really didn't mean to be that loud. Or sound that pathetic.

But here you are, hovering over him with a concerned look on your tired face.

And he couldn't be more disgustingly turned on.

He goes as pink as a tinkaton.

"Are you okay? You sounded like you were having a nightmare?"

You touch where his arm is in the sleeping bag, and it's like firecrackers. Arven jolts and moves away from you.

"Y-yeah! Totally, totally, totally, totally. Totally fine. Definitely. Yup. Just a nightmare. Sorry I bothered you. R-really. It's... Haha," His laugh sounds almost pained. "It's not a big deal. Promise. Just...just a nightmare..." He says the last part through clenched teeth.

You look a little sad. "...Arven....you've been having a lot of nightmares lately." Yeah. Nightmares. "Do you maybe wanna....I dunno, talk to someone?"

"Me? Nah, no. Don't....don't worry about it..." He swallows. The shame should absolutely not be making him harder. "I'm fine. Just...just gotta get back to sleep, ya know? Honk-shoo, honk-shoo and all that, haha..." Arven lays back down and curls in on himself in an attempt to end the conversation there.

He kinda wishes he could just. Melt away. Honk-shoo honk-shoo?! Why is he the way he is?!

Then you're absolutely not helping when you press yourself up against him in a hug through your sleeping bags.

"It's okay, Arven..." You say, genuinely trying to be soothing.

"N-Nope!" Arven says, darting out of his sleeping bag, while you yelp as you're launched back a bit in his haste to get away.

"S-sorry!" He calls to you, as he hurries off further into the woods. "I'll be right back. P-promise!"

Fuck, he's really gonna have to make this up to you. After he's done painting some poor tree trunk white.

I'll go a bit more in depth on him under the cut since I figured we changed quite a tad about her and I want to spread wisdom (our AU) to the world

So I'll start with design choices and then I'll move to his general character ヾ(≧▽≦*)o So:

The things coming out from his neck are antennae! they make her have really good hearing which SUCKS when you are overwhelmed (which she is, always) so rip!

His eyes have no pupil because arthropods and insects have them freaky eyes now <3

He has blue and red dyed hair to match the animatronics color scheme (thought the red is not very obvious here since he's tilting his head), though the white bits of his hair are not actually dyed! they are like that because he's a ladybug and they have those white spots on the sides of their little heads!

-His hands are segmented like that because of an arbitrary rule I made to make arthropods more recognizable amongst them bears and foxes and allat, since a arthropods are segmented I applied that to their articulations! fun fact, insects like Loon or Cami (We made her a mantis I'm sorry) have a division on their neck, while arthropods that are NOT insects, like Owynn, completely lack that! that's because insects are divided in 3 parts (head thorax and abdomen) arachnids are divided in 2 (thorax and abdomen) ((not exactly called that but semantics)).

-He has little ladybug earrings and actually he matches with Malva!(Usagi) ((we changed her name lol)) ((her last name is visco haha get it malva-visco))

-In general I made his hair darker, gave him a bit of acne amongst the freckles and made him more tan because we love melanin in this house

Now for,, character changes,,,

So first of all, he/she swag, bigender, Loon when masc and JJ when fem though it fluctuates too, good for her gettem. We obliterated that Malva crush, gone, exploded into pieces, and also she's ecuadorian now, gettem.

We turned that pathetic nervous shy thing of his into something way worse </3 She is still introverted and all that, but the main thing is that she does not like going outside! gamer goes outside challenge impossible, she does NOT like leaving his house shut-in guy who if outside for long enough has a breakdown, clings to Malva because they are best friends and she's like "safe" she's like a safe zone. Loon cannot function in social/public settings at all and just clings, which is also why a lot of people mistake him as "having a crush on her" even though they are a bajillion percent platonic

He's a bit of a cringefail loser and also a bit creepy lmao, always on her phone always trying to zone the hell out and think about a silly videogame, but also just nosy, hit antennae and insect stuff lets him 1) look wherever without people being able to tell, and 2) listen to stuff. Enabler and snoops through shit AKA has good info for Owynn's insane as shit ideas, insane of her but whatever.

Also given how in this Au we cranked the animal motifs to a thousand, being a little "bug" and then being next to like, a bear is terrifying to her, so besides being scared of just existing outside, she's also scared of people as a whole because little insect vs big animal, rip.

This turned into a monster of a thing so I'm sticking it under a cut!

Favourite colour: I am rubbish at this question. I love various colours in various contexts, but at the moment I am really gravitating towards greens. Green is a colour I haven't paid much attention to before, but for some reason over the last few months I have taken an interest in it. I even bought a solid green jumper!

Last song: When Things Explode by Unkle. It's a song I first heard on an episode of Person of Interest and it's now on one of my YouTube music playlists. Takes me right back!

Last movie: I had to check my Letterboxd for this - that's how often I'm watching films at the moment! It was the 1995 version of Persuasion that I rewatched at the end of August. A film I only discovered recently but has become one of those instant comforting favourites.

Currently watching: Oh heck - I'm struggling to keep track, there are so many! I'm watching The English at the moment. Also Outsiders series 2, Taskmaster series 16, New Girl (on season 2), This Farming Life series 6 with my dad on a Sunday morning, All Creatures Great and Small series 4, Fletchers' Family Farm series 2, Schitt's Creek with @phantomviola (on season 5), The Musketeers (series 2) and Black Books (series 3) with @userdjarin and who could forget Our Flag Means Death season 2 which has taken over my brain! Along with all that I squeezed in a Primeval series 2 rewatch which I finished the other night. [slaps roof of my brain] this bad boy can fit so many narratives in it.

Other stuff I watched this year: HAH! I have an IMDb list of TV shows I've watched this year! It's long as heck! Silk, The IT Crowd, Black Sails, The Last of Us, Lost in Space, Endeavour, The Terror, Arrested Development, Community, Vicious, Prehistoric Planet, Why Didn't They Ask Evans?, Ted Lasso, Miranda, The North Water, His Dark Materials, And Then There Were None, Jonathan Strange & Mister Norrell, The Great British Sewing Bee, The Bear, Blackadder, 30 Rock, Chernobyl and The Expanse. And those are just the ones worth mentioning! And some of these I watched four times! Okay, one thing. Okay, it was The Terror.

As for films, it's a poor show this year - I haven't watched as many (see above for reason why). I have seen the latest Spiderverse film and I've love to see Barbie!

Shows I dropped this year/didn’t finish: The Mandalorian (sob!), Vikings (I think I was maybe an episode or two shy of finishing the first season but... man... I just wasn't having fun), My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (to be fair this might have been last year, I can't remember, but I know I stopped a few episodes into season 2), Fleabag (I watched one or two episodes... wasn't quite for me).

Currently reading: Darwin by Adrian J. Desmond and James R. Moore (about 100 pages in but I'm taking this one slow because I'm not hyperfixating on him) and Dead Famous by Greg Jenner which I am taking even slower. I've read quite a few books related to the Franklin Expedition this year (thanks, The Terror) and for a while I was reading pretty solidly but I guess that's what hyperfixation does to you!

Currently listening to: I'm not really listening to music much these days thanks to YouTube's annoying ad blocker pop-up so I'm typing this in silence, haha! But podcast-wise I'm doing great. Three Bean Salad is probably my favourite podcast at the moment. The humour is just too good, and I look forward to hearing the lads every week. I'm also binging The Rest is History which is a bit more serious but still has its fun moments. I'm also listening to Off Menu, No Such Thing as a Fish, The Bones Booth, Taskmaster: The Podcast, The Mariner's Mirror Podcast, and odd episodes of RHLSTP if I know the guest. I save podcasts for when I'm doing something like washing the dishes, walking or driving.

Currently working on: Now that the puppy I found at the end of August is vaccinated, she can go out and about, and that has led to me abandon the polymer clay for a while to return to a hobby that I haven't spent much time on since early 2020 at the latest. I wanted to make her some nice collars and leads so she looks smart for our walks which I will inevitably be photographing. I know it's kind of hard to see but I made this collar and lead for her.

I was a bit worried that I'd forgotten how to sew the leather but thankfully not. I have a few more straps of leather lying around that I'd like to make into collars and leads as well. And several rope leads that need whipping (you wrap thinner twine around the thicker rope to finish it and protect the end from fraying) but I'm having to take my time with those because the twine is murder on my soft, delicate, feminine hands. I can whip maybe four leads before my fingers are red. It's worth the pain!

Current obsession: Our Flag Means Death has taken over my life once again. Whatever happens in the finale next week, I know I will be a mess. Heck, I'm already a mess.

His confused expression quickly went away as he heard your words, and was replaced with a more approachable and softer face. "Hah..Did he really say that?" he said while looking at your face with a smug look.

"...Yes. Is there a problem?" 'If he can be sassy so can I',

"Are you sure you're the class procter? You dont seem very procter like to me.." he spoke very casually with a chuckle.

"Excuse me?"

"Haha! ahh.. you really don't recognize me do you?" 'is he..fucking with me? and why is he smiling like that, creep.'

He gave you a harsh flick on your forehead, looked back at his notebook and continued his work.

From the corner of your eye you could see Childe and Kaeya hitting each other and whispering, they seemed quite excited...

With your arms crossed, confused you spoke again "Uhm.... So is that a yes or no to meeting me at the lockers?"

He looks back at you with a amused face "Fine ill meet you there, your friends looked quite offended, better go to 'em"

Making your way back to your seat with a confused look, you could hear Scaramouchs' friends teasing him.

Then you saw your friends faces.

Yes and no! I am a Leo. I have a heart of gold and I can be warm and generous, sometimes even fun, and I enjoy attention. HOWEVER, I am also very private and want space too, and sometimes I hate being loud (and usually avoid being loud unless I'm with close friends) and I usually find very loud people extremely irritating because I know they're usually compensating for something that they lack. And often I do not know how to respond or act when all eyes are suddenly clearly on me (for example I HATEEE being presented things in public, e.g. formal ceremony or whatever. I'm like "please let me walk over, take it and leave, I don't want to be made just stand there and wait for someone to GIVE the thing to me in front of all these people, I'm no better than anyone else, let's just do this casually not formally"). I much prefer this type of attention and praise in a private setting, not for everyone to see because I feel it comes across as incredibly insincere that way. I'm also quite introverted, and Leos are given the reputation for being extroverted. I love doing things myself and with friends, but I also love just chilling at home. Hmm, there are quite a few that get a strong emotional reaction out of me, but making me really cry... I have only seen An Cailín Ciúin/The Quiet Girl (2022) once but I was bawling tears in the cinema by the end (and same with everyone else who ever saw it in the cinemas here, from what I've seen and heard!). It was so beautiful, I don't know if it is possible not to have a dry eye by the end of watching it! And I knew as I watched it that it was going to do so well with critics and award nominations, and it did!

Another film (that I have seen more than once) that always rips my heart out is Sans Lendemain (1939). I cry at that one too. </3

I would say that obviously it might not be true you can never account for people's personal feelings at any one time or like I can't because I'm not really thattt knowledgable about this haha but

I'd say that whilst his mars is an Aries and people always associate fire signs with hot, passionate and often times wild sex, because his Venus (which rules love) is Taurus (somewhat traditional but also shy) and his moon (which rules inner emotions) is Virgo (fucking so suppressed, cautious to trust others with their true feelings) and his Sun is Taurus too (that's like your individual identity) all those earth placements will definitely dampen or hold back that Aries Mars and so in order for that to really burn he'd probably need to be with someone who makes him feel confident, someone he knows pretty well?

I'm quite conservative in my own personal views on sex too and I can't promise you I'm not being blinded by my own belief with this interpretation.

If it's fwb and it's actually a friend then the sex could be really good because it's still someone trusted/well known. But like, that would always be in conflict with a Taurus Venus that wants to literally make a home with/in their partner. They're one of the most dedicated Venus signs so I'd say a relationship thats not based on a really strong romantic/friends/ride or die style love will never compare to one that is all of those things.

Cute, heartwarming and a bit fairy like, like Yanan. Like mentioned in other members, each song has its own unique traits just like the Pentagon members. Yanan and this song are no exception. Also, the title also fits the situation quite well, since the tip of the iceberg is always just a small part of the iceberg and theres a lot to discover under the water, and Yanan with his shy personality also has a lot hidden behind what he actually shows us. 2023 me - the songs also says how some actions are just the tip of the iceberg of things the protagonist would do to get back their loved one, and it also fits well with the relationship of universe and pentagon with Yanan. Even being away from him for so long, we’d do everything to see the boys together again.

Yanan is gold. The song tells about someone who is gold, someone who might not see their whole potential even though they are it. I really don't know but this song fits Yuto. Maybe is the beat that changes and shows many styles that reminds me of Yuto, of how he looks like something but acts as something else. The song is mysterious and beautiful and thats really Yuto. Its cute but serious and the guitar part... definitely something that fits Yuto. Also, just like Yu, this song has a special place in my heart. “I just can’t get you off my mind, now I’m gonna be up all night”

I’m not sure why 2020 me chose this song bc she didn't write anything, maybe it was the instrumental? I think the bass in the song gives off Yuto vibes. It’s a lightweight song that seems almost theatrical to me. “Woo woo woo- I’m coming after you” The siren sounds seem fun and something that cute and the rest of Mayonnaise would add to their songs haha

Kino

Plant life 

Kino has a flower aesthetic so why not? The song is really artistic and that it would suit kino's style if he danced to this song, or even sang it. Both are gentle, creative and majestic, showing a really unique kind of power, that feels almost magical. The lyrics also has Kino's vibes to it. It’s full of metaphors and pretty sounds (I think it’s my favorite owl city song)

shooting star

Kino is a shooting star! Like the song, he seems like the type of person to encourage and support others whey they feel down or tired. Kino is comfort to others, someone really precious and kind. “So shine no matter where you are tonight”

Wooseok

Dreams and Disasters 

The image this song makes me think of is always a young couple, careless and fun, driving in a road in the middle of nowhere. This free-spirited style remind me of maknae Wooseokie. The upbeat melody and free-spirited lyrics fit Wooseok who is young and seem adventurous. “I wanna feel alive forever after”

Strawberry Avalanche

I don't know exactly why, but i guess pink Wooseok fits this. Another fun and cute song that fits shy Wooseok. I have this image that Woo is a pretty cute and gentle 2m tall boy and the scenario created by this song would fit him well. 2023 me- The song sounds soft and childish and I feel like behind the serious aura and appearance that wooseok has, there is a gentle and dreamy person there.

I don't really think I have to explain, but here I am anyways. Ptg is such a fun group. They are all very unique and display their individual charms throughout their journey. Every time we see them it's a good time, doesn't matter what they are doing. They turn the most normal things into something fun to look forward to.

I feel like this song talks about hope and, as cliche as it seems, pentagon simbolizes that to me. "When its all said and done, we'll shine like the sun so don't let the fire die." It simbolizes well the groups history and it works for their fans too, since seeing their journey Universe might feel inspired to just keep going too. It’s like Eternal Flame!

Support. Another word I think of when it comes to Pentagon. i'm an isfj, and i'm fairly shy. i have anxiety, and i get really quiet in social settings- i have 3 close friends who mean the world to me, and i'm part of a really small friend group but i value individual friendships much more because of how intimate they are. i listen to music quite often, read too much (i get caught up in books really easily), listen to a lot of music - taylor swift wrote mirrorball for me - and i'm an academic validation girlie. my aesthetic is somewhere in between coastal granddaughter and coquette- i kind of dress like rory gilmore, i wear flared jeans a lot and floral or lacy tops. 

i use she/her pronouns, and i'm straight but mayyybe bi?? i like to think i'm feminine- i love perfume and lavender and candles and claw clips and locket jewelry. i'm 5'2, petite, and i have medium-length hair that's light brown in the winter and strawberry blonde in the summer (idk but something about the sun changes its color, i don't know how). i'm really fair skinned, blush easily, and i have a few freckles- i get sunburned really easily so i try to take really good care of my skin. my teeth aren't very straight but i like to think it's a cute little character flaw haha.

i'm a ballet dancer but i also ice skate for fun, and i play touch football in the spring. i'm also obsessed with pearls. i write a lot as well- mostly poetry, but i don't post it on here lol. i adore pretty trinkets and dresses, iced matchas from starbucks, gracie abrams, romcoms, and pale pink converse. my favorite show is gilmore girls & anne with an e, and my favorite movies are little women (2019) and dead poets society. thank you<33

I think you wouldn't be nobility exactly, but like gilded age and whatever, you'd have money so you get a fancy education and excel in all your courses but then you start ballet and you're definitely better than everyone there too. So you eventually become on of the most famous ballerinas and duh everybody wants to be you or be with you but you're like naaahhhh I have enough friends, thank you though. BUT THeN! One day, at some dinner party your obscenely wealthy grandma is having in your honor at her beach mansion house (because you're the bestest ballerina of them all) you meet gaspspps A Devilishly dashing (person of whatever gender you're feelin, I won't tell you what to do) and it's a relentless back and forth of will-they-wont-they and your friends all say yes but you say no because "they're probably just like everyone else, they don't want me for me, they want me for what I do, what I could offer them"

BUT THEN! dun dun dun,,,a totally random accident that happens out of nowhere and is completely unrelated to dance (i'm hella superstitious and if you think i'm putting that out there? Haha no way), leads you to an early retirement because you still love to dance but the fame isn't all you bargained for, so you move to the seaside and DUN DUN DUN! Who comes to visit??? Your beloved suitor!! and then you have a beautiful life filled with perfume bottles, lockets, lavender sprigs, and beach picnics <3

Dear Yue Lao,

i hope you’re doing well, with all the godly things and all. i write to you in hopes that you’ll help me out here a little. see, i am in search of a lover, and i have heard you’d be my best bet. with this letter i have given you a few offerings which i hope you will enjoy (disclosed at the end). i suppose i should tell you about myself.

i’m a little shy and timid at first, scared others will judge me, but once you get to know me i’m as loud and spontaneous as my social battery allows. i love cats, taking naps, wearing large hoodies, and having my fringe over my eyes for the aesthetic of it. i love anything arts related, such as illustration and music and writing. i write and read quite a lot, listen to music practically constantly, and i enjoy drawing and making music of my own (i play the flute and guitar ^^). i love dark colors and dark clothes, the alternative/punk/emo type of style as well. i haven’t had the happiest of lives up to this point, but i always persevere - even if it’s pure spite sometimes - and i keep pushing. im inside my own head all the time, constantly thinking and wondering and observing, and sometimes it can lead to my downfall, but it doesn’t stop me haha. when i love, i tend to love with all of me, and i want to do everything in my power to make sure my partner feels loved and appreciated and respected. i get distracted VERY easily, and i tend to ramble. speaking of, i should probably end this here before i write too much.

Red String of Fate - The Event

[AN: so,,,,,, how are you doing,,,,,,??? I have literally no excuse why this is literally MONTHTS LATE. I'm really sorry. I never forgot, I just had a lot going on. I can't stand seeing this and not having it done so here it is, all this time later if you're still around to see it. My sincerest apologies.]

This event has been closed for months, Lex was my last.

Somewhere up in the heavens sitting in a courtyard is an elderly god that toys lovingly with the small cat on his lap. He's been busy, that much is true. Busy, a bit tired, but making connections like never before. A soft smile lays on his lips as his index and middle finger wiggle playfully to avoid her quick paws. He laughs softly when she catches him before he sees her ears perk. Curiosity piques on the elderly god's face. Something has caught her attention.

Bao leaps up from the old god's lap before scurrying off across the courtyard. A shadow is cast by Chang'e's light as her paws quickly move across the stone and gravel paths. Her nose twitches. She's forgotten something and she knows it. She mews softly to Yue Lao's servants, almost as if she's asking them to clear the halls before pushing her small body to the front of his palace. The guards, akin to decoration as Yue Lao's power is mightier than his form would have you believe, watch with amusement as the small cat nudges the doors open. She makes a small 'mrrrrow' at them before rushing through the clouds to the edge that usually overlooks one of the god's favorite places in all of China to see it's shifted. Her ears flatten against her skull before she moves her tail down, sweeping it across the earth like a gentle breeze. And she feels it - it's a woven basket.

Calloused hands of a man brush against her tail in an all too familiar fashion and Bao finds it fit to look down. There, down on earth handing the basket up to the winds is princess Zhinu's husband, Niulang. At his side is his most trusted friend, the ox with Niulang and Zhinu's two children resting atop his back. A smile rests on his tired, weary face from yet another day without seeing his love, but he offers the letter and its offerings up all the same. He'd found it at one of Zhinu's shrines. He knows it's wrong to peek, but the energy was not for her. Realizing the mistake, he found it appropriate to pass it back upwards.

Bao catches the basket with her tail and purrs down at the princess's husband before taking the handle gingerly into her mouth. She moves her way through Yue Lao's grand palace to where he awaits for her in the courtyard. She rests the basket in front of him before prodding at it. Yue Lao's eyes widen. How had he forgotten this one? He nods for Bao to get him a spool of red thread before reading over your letter. He reads it again and again, wondering just how long you've prayed to him only for silence. He mentally scolds himself before seeing the offerings you've left. Incense, a small ceramic cat, a pen that you seem to adore, poetry and an amethyst. They're all such lovely gifts! But the poetry, it seems so familiar. He hasn't read your letter until now, and he hasn't ever seen your poetry. How does he know it word for word?

Yue Lao wonders if you're the one he's been dreaming of. Or rather, if your soulmate is the one he's deemed familiar. He can see the form of a man in his eyes, a man who's repeatedly shown up yet he could not place.

When Bao returns, he takes the spool gingerly from her mouth and wraps one end tightly around your pinky as you slumber, the other for the man he's sure the god of dreams has been shoving towards him as a reminder for him to fulfill his marriage and love god duties. He sighs for but a moment before seeing him as he moves across the earth. This man is alone. Dark hair, dark eyes, he's tall and holding something in his hand. Yue Lao pulls a small face when he realizes it's a weapon. Is that really the man he wants to pair you with? Will you be safe?

Bao nudges his hand as she sees the man Yue Lao has his moonlight crested eyes set upon. Tim Wright was his human name, but he's something different now and goes by Masky. She nudges his hand once more before mewing in approval at how Yue Lao's hands tie the thread to Masky's pinky. She nudges his hand again and he sighs softly in defeat with a quiet chuckle. Tossing her gently in the air, Bao closes her eyes and finds herself land somewhere in the woods. Her paws crunch on late autumnal leaves. She can smell cigarettes, iron, and the unmistakable scent of a campfire's lingering smoke. Applewood, and graphite. She thinks it's funny that Tim is so close to you, and here he is, dumbstruck by how a glowing red string has materialized on his pinky.

Bao wastes no time in approaching Masky. Her tail swishes in a relatively friendly manner before she bites at the string. "Hey wait-!" He huffs as she tugs on it with a force no house cat should have. It causes him to stumble, and he almost falls from the sheer strength. He watches the cat as she tugs on him, much too impatient for him to figure out how the string works for himself when he recognizes her fur patterns. Her jade eyes, those are the same ones he's seen in his dreams. For months, he's been visited by a small cat and someone who looks more beautiful than what should be allowed. He begins to match pace with Bao, letting her guide him to a neighborhood through the woods. The red string glows brightly, and it is taught. It no longer rests along the earth, but upwards, as if leading to the upper floor of someone's home.

Masky moves quickly and silently. He does not wish to wake up the neighborhood as he follows the glowing string and Bao's soft paw-falls. And then he sees it. How his string leads up towards a window. He doesn't hesitate climbing, not caring how his teammates in the distance call out for him through their mental connection. Something deep within him has been calling to you. At the top, he peers into your window. You're illuminated slightly by the red thread, absentmindedly toying with it. There's an amused look on your face that it's finally appeared, but it is only when he tugs on it by waving that you realize your prayer has finally been answered.

Hello, and congratulations on a new milestone! I haven't been following for all that long, but I'm excited to see where you go from here <3

(also good luck with college I just started a new semester myself haha)

I was hoping to enter the genshin matchup event, and get some headcanons as well. I'd prefer a male, but otherwise it's all good! I don't have that much I really want from a partner, but I would like to be able to have both fun and silly times, and times where we can simply exist quietly in each other's presence. I like to sing, but I can't dance so maybe that would be fun to do with them. I do like physical touch (to a reasonable amount), so I'd prefer my partner to as well. Other than that, I really just want to be loving, comfortable and honest - the kind of relationship where you can be open and still be loved, and you both can grow together.

I'm about 5'2, and have wavy blonde hair that is almost always tied back in a ponytail. I wear glasses, and have a very dark/light academia-esque style. I'm quiet, but not shy - I just dislike being overly social, but I do have a few extremely close friends. People trust me very quickly, and I take on the role of the therapist friend - but otherwise I'm fairly chill, which the occasional exception of getting energetic and 'full of beans' as my family says. I am also the kind of person that's almost constantly sleepy and could always take a nap.

I love to make little stuffed animals for my friends and family, and I've been making little dioramas as gifts as well. The only TV I can watch are horror movies, and I almost constantly have music playing - I'm one of those people who listen to everything, but I actually mean it (I have 380 liked songs on Spotify). I'm majoring in philosophy, so I am very good at thinking about too many things too often lol.

in return, you often find yourself falling asleep on his lap as he’s doing work; he always smiles fondly at you and gives you a kiss on the forehead.

you introducing him to making dioramas, he actually found it quite soothing and a nice break from his otherwise fast paced life.

gifting him a little stuffed eagle and him just being in awe, mostly because you made such a thing for him it just his heart.
