i miss them too,, i have so many drafts and half finished fics with them but i've had so little energy/time to actually finish any of them bc of finals

but i'm pretty caught up with school rn (by tuesday i'll be on summer break!!) so here's a bit of an i'm-sorry-for-being-absent drabble :)

The nail of your thumb drags against the edge of the page, finally getting the glue to fully adhere to the page.

You press your back against the wood surface of your desk chair to admire your handiwork. The background of your latest scrapbook page has come together just the way you wanted it to. You pick up the book carefully before turning your body.

"Lex," you beam.

Felix doesn't sit up fully, but he does lift his head. The arm holding up his copy of the latest Harry Potter relaxing. "Oh," he mumbles it in that way that reminds you of one of the things you like best about him. He has this talent for giving attention. Where other people would just be polite without a second thought, Felix takes the time to really look before commending.

He pushes himself up in a way that awkwardly squishes your pillow. "That's good." Felix straightens, legs crossing beneath him. "That's really good, Lovie." His thumb tucks itself between the pages of his book, a make shift bookmark. "The edges, the paper..."

"Thank you." Another thing you love about Felix is the fact that you can always tell he means his praise. You turn forward, setting your scrapbook back onto your desk. "You should make one."

The corner of his mouth pulls itself into a version of a smile that's so soft you almost miss it. "Yeah?" You nod. Felix's smile shifts into something more assured. "Maybe tomorrow night."

You try to picture Felix spending a Saturday night in either your room or his, cutting up scraps of paper and gluing them down instead of at a bar or some party. The thought makes your feel warm in that way that's so exclusively Felix. It also feels blurry, intangible in its unlikeliness.

As happy as it'd make you, tonight was already surprising enough. It's not like Felix goes out every night, and this isn't the first time the two of you have stayed in on a Friday, but nights like these are rare. You can't picture two of these in a row.

"Tomorrow?" You pull your legs out from under your desk, entire body angling itself to the side so that it's easier to look at him. "Tomorrow's Saturday."

He lets out a partial laugh. "And you're dying for a rager?"

"No," you mumble, dragging out the vowel sound in an attempt to sound more sarcastic. "But you like going out." You lean forward, resting your chin against the chair's back. "And it's not like I hate going out, especially with you..." You trail off, eyes shifting away from Felix and towards the bed post closest to you. "And I don't want to be the reason you don't do things you like."

For a beat, the only sound is the low, rhythmic tapping of Felix's pointer finger against the spine of his book. "I like a lot of things."

You lift your head. "I know."

"I like doing things with you."

The warmth comes back with a vengeance. You tap your thumb against the side of your seat for the sake of doing something. "Me too."

Felix shifts, extending one leg to make himself more comfortable. "Good." He's so quiet for a second, you almost think that might be the end of the conversation. You're about to go back to picking out the pictures to finish off the page you'd been working on when he starts again, "So you don't need to worry about me resenting you."

Your eyes narrow. "I didn't say anything about you resenting me." Your chin lifts slightly, an attempt at displaying your indignation. "Why are you saying it like that was an option?"

He grins, dropping himself back onto your pillow. "No reason."

You roll your eyes at his sarcasm. He's the one that came over to your room without being asked to. "Sure."

"What?" His tone implies nothing but perfect innocence. He picks up his book, opening it as if he's done nothing wrong. "Y'should come over here before the resentment sets in and I lose all interest."

You let out a loud sigh, but move to stand regardless. "Yeah, that feels like a real possibility."

When you don't move, Felix glances away from his book. "You're not gonna come over here?" He looks up at you, a hint of a pout playing at his expression. "I was kidding."

You cross your arms, fighting against a smile. "I just stood up." That's not enough to convince him to stop looking at you like that. You take a few steps forward with a sigh that's more out of habit than anything else. "You are so dramatic."

You sit on your bed, crossing your legs beneath you. Felix shifts onto his side. His freehand finds your knee. "You cried because of this book."

Eyes narrowing, you lean forward to get a better sense of how far into the book he's gotten. "Wait a few chapters."

Felix snaps his head in your direction, "Lovie. You said you wouldn't--" Your sentence runs into his, "I didn't--I didn't spoil it."

He frowns, watching you skeptically. "That was mean."

"You started it." You're aware that you sound like a little kid, but you can't help it. With a sigh, you give up, laying down. He's taking up most of your bed, but you're far from uncomfortable. "Fine. I'm sorry."

With little warning, Felix leans forward and presses a kiss against your temple. "Want me to read to you?"

You're used to Felix's random displays of affection, but every once in awhile something will take you by so much surprise you feel it more than you should. You blink. "Yeah," you mumble, hoping that your voice comes out even, "Sounds nice."

Felix shifts onto his back, one hand finding your arm and the other holding his book.

killer found a another sundress. that, in of itself, shouldn't be anything new. typical killer activities often include finding sundresses, after all. killer seemed to really like them, and cross could understand that; sundresses were colorful.

by definition, killer and sundresses were synonyms. bright little things, sticking it through the societal crash.

but for some reason, killer really really liked this one. it was nearly white, splattered with abstract blotches of bright red poppies and hazy purple buds. perhaps it was the variety of colors? maybe it was because cross had been the one to point it out?

whatever the reason, killer had scuttered off to put it on, snickering and grinning like a dork, and now cross was here, leaning against a pillar in the crumbling remains of a food court, rubbing at a misplaced sticker on the pommel of his machete. he doesn't know how or when killer got it on there, but the little pop of color was textured. bumpy, like the soles of a soccer cleat.

it was little cat. he vaguely remembered it being popular at one point, hello kitty or something. killer liked cats.

cross slid his machete out of its casing, flipping it around, a fidgety habit he'd picked up from watching killer so often. killer had so many knives on him, and he always seemed to have on spinning on his fingers. because of that, cross had somehow wound up doing about the same with his own blade. it wasn't a nice as the way killer's flipped his knives, but, then again, killer was on another level with most things like this anyways.

cross clicked his tongue, and sheathed the weapon. he had to break that habit; he'd end up cutting a finger off if he kept trying to pull weird fancy tricks like killer. he could just watch killer do it, get his kicks that way.

"crisscross! yo!"

arms draped around his neck from behind, killer jumping onto him and clinging to him like a racoon trying to climb a tree. his legs wrapped around cross's waist, and then gravity pulled killer down again, and cross choked, stumbling backwards before finding his balance again and reorienting himself. he instinctively twisting his arms behind his back to grip killer's femurs, keeping the idiot from sliding off and alleviating some of the pressure on his neck.

"i told you to not do that," he grumbled, to which killer snorted and wiggled around in response to.

"quit whinin', ya big pup," killer cackled, but he wiggled a little more aggressively and cross let him go. killer slid off cross's back, jumping around to dramatically spin in front of cross. the yellow-white dress fluttered around killer's knees, the flowers on it rippling, and cross's mouth went dry.

at this rate, cross was going to like the sundresses as much as killer did, but for all the wrong reasons.

killer beamed up at him before grinning down at himself, running his hands over the pale fabric.

"it's a little loose, this definitely wasn't made for boney fellas like me," killer commented, despite the fact that, in cross's opinion, it was perfect.

"and, it has pockets! hah!" killer stuck his hands in the dress's pockets, demonstrating that it, in fact, did have pockets, and cross chuckled despite himself.

"it looks great, 'coon."

killer's face flushed with a pink-ish hue, his grin wide and genuine as he bounced on his toes, "fuck yeah it does! i'm so fucking pretty, look at this, watch this, watch this,"

killer started spinning, and cross knew immediately that he'd fall over afterwards, but he did have a point. he was pretty.

(Kuchel thought he was lonely so she got him a kitten 2 years before. Pip was the runt and a stray so according to Kenny, it was the perfect match, so he started calling the kitten Pipsqueak, then it just stuck.)

His reassuring words dont work on poor Pip though, not until the entry bell rang and Pip went silent. The two cats did indeed fall in love, the cream maine coon maintaining eye contact with the younger calico.

Levi completely oblivious and glad his cat stopped complaining just mindlessly went on with his morning.

This was until his name was called to bring Pip into the doctor’s office and he caught the sight of them.

hi hello yes!! i do have some new ocs! though one of em we've had designed and exist for more than a year probably, just never got around to talking about em. so ty for asking!

first off is Emilio, he's the older-newer guy! he exists in the main oc-verse, he interacts with Drew and them. he has a child from a semi-recent divorce so he and Drew bump into each other because their daughters were playing together. Emilio is an actor, not high-level fame but he's been in some notable roles, including some early low budget horror films. he also plays in a local soccer league for fun, Levi is one of his teammates actually :) he is a cool guy if a bit self absorbed but we love him. his romantic interest is Avery, who Emilio bumps into at a wedding they were both at. they're cute and i love themmm shh shhh

and secondly,, we have Claude! he came to me in a dream weeks ago and i've been obsessed with him ever since. we decided since he's a wizard he can fit into the monster mash universe, he works at a mall at one of those weird weapon/glassware shops that never seem to have anyone shopping around. its a perfect place for Claude to be in his own world and also sleep off hangovers and stuff :P he uses his magic in mundane ways like turning off the security cameras when he is having said naps or sneaking snack breaks. he's an older guy in his 40s or something and is looking to make a connection with someone,, he often sits in bars waiting for possible suitors to see his fancy robes and compliment him :') he makes friends easily he is a regular to many places, he's just wistful and longing about love, sighs.... oh and he loves cheese :)

It was slow and you allowed yourself to savour the way the ships's lanterns reflects and glittered on the water a long with the moon.

You were surrounded by everyone you cared about and everyone who cared about you (but some of the crew drank a little too much in celebration of your birth hehe)

~Thrift and second hand shop or look for sales and coupon codes.

~learn to sew or crochet! (making your own designs can be fun and exciting for unique pieces in your wardrobe)

* Find some inspiration! Fashion is seriously ALL around you! Anything can spark a fresh new idea and don't be afraid to think outside the box. If you're scared to try something out give it a chance you never know how you may like it.

~Download pinterest or Tiktok!

I personal find these apps to be extremely helpful when finding inspiration for new looks I want to try. There's so much information just waiting to be found and you should totally check it out.

~Experiment!

Put on that lab coat babes because it's about to get crazy! Look at the clothes you have and think of new combos! Mix up patterns, try layering, and def get into to it with accessories.

~Try Everskies!

Oh yes! If you've been around the virtual doll worlds (stardoll, mattel dress up games on your elementary school's computer, Imvu and even doll divine) this is right up your alley! Everskies is perfect for making new looks. And it's a great way to showcase your ideas and even make new friends.

~Tumblr!

Yes miss mamas I know you're already here and that's how you're reading this. Pay attention gworl! Tumblr is full of hidden gems and lot's of things you haven't discovered yet. After tumblr's little clean up things seemed lost but I like to believe its getting back on track. There's lots of places to discover and find new fashion and even subcultures. Don't let yourself be stuck in a box check out new places and new tags!

3. Next caller! Next Caller! Let's talk about your room!!!

*DECORATE!!!! I cannot be anymore clear in that. If you have a space to decorate do it! Here's my top tips for you best room!

~Look at your space and brainstorm!

Take note of the size of your room and even look at the furniture you have in it. If you have a small room try to place your furniture to have a more spacious look or even downsize your bed if you can.

If you lack closet space try looking for clothing and shoe racks. Think of better ways to store things and try not to keep (bad) clutter or boxes.

~Choose a theme.

No, you do not have to have a strict cookie-cutter bedroom you saw in a generic lifestyle post. Think of things you like and see if there's something like that you can use in your room.

If you love plushies or stuffed animals totally get some for your room they make any space adorable.

Try out posters or even make a photo wall. Print out some images or go get images printed that you like. (freeprints is a great app to get your pictures for your wall and yes it is actually free your first purchase)

~Get some decor!

Decor is very important and easy to find you can put absolutely anything in your room. (Something that brings back cool memories, something you splurged on because it looks cool, something gifted to you, just anything that makes you room your happy place)

~Make the most of it!

At the end of the day with the way the world is now your room is where you spend most of your time. So why not make it your palace. Make it a safe, clean, healthy and positive space. Take a day out of your week to deep clean and keep it fresh. If the week got totally hectic and a mess and your room got the worst of it. Take the time to get it back on track!

4. Be unapologetically you! (and love yourself)

~Self care!

Cleanse your skin daily and try to have an easy reliable skincare routine.

Do your hair and paint your nails.

Pick out some cute pjs. If you are lounging around the house often try to buy some cute lounge sets. and get ready even if you are just lounging.

Journal! Sometimes we just need to get things off our chest and feel we can't tell anyone. Journaling is a great way to let it out. If you feel a actually book journal isn't private enough download google docs and drive. It's safely on your phone and it has a great passcode system.

Fuel your body! Eat and drink good things. Mental health can actually have a lot to do with you diet. You can feel a lot more tired and drained if your aren't getting what you need. Cooking and trying new recipes can be fun and exciting!

Work out! Working out has been given a bad name due to body shamers but it's actually got more benefits than weight management. It can help you feel happier, more energized, and even make your body more firm. It can be a really great experience if you find fun new ways to exercise. You can try so many routines like dancing (twerk it out), martial arts, skating, bike riding, walking to explore, yoga, and so much more.

5. Hair and Makeup!

~Try out new hair colors and styles!

Wigs are your friend! It's a great way to switch it up and protect your natural hair. You can also test out new looks without the commitment.

there's lots of ways to style wigs but if wigs aren't you thing... Try color clip ins! tracks can be found in the beauty supply for very low prices in tons of colors and they are able to take heat. you can also find clips to sew on. If you go this route you can have so many color combos and go all out and its much more versatile.

Try hair accessories! There's so many things you can use to spice up you hair. there's clips, scrunchies, hair jewels, pom pom hair ties, and anything you can think of!

Remember there's way more to hair than middle part 30 inches (no shade)

~ makeup! We all remember sunset eye shadow and concealer brows (again no shade) but make up is also whatever you make it. There is no right and wrong way to do it at the end of the day.

Try new lash colors and even new brow colors. Get creative! try new looks you've seen or maybe even come up with your own.

See what looks good on your face and what you like and ALWAYS take some pics and go all out!

Marinette lifted an eyebrow curiously at the boy who had just flopped into her lap. Slowly, a smile formed on her lips as she stared down at Adrien who looked up at her rather pitifully. She put down her sketchbook, running her hands through his hair and watching as his eyes fluttered closed. 

How can he be so cute? He’s too adorable for his own good. It makes getting over him absolutely impossible, Marinette sighed in her mind. Cuddling him closer, she murmured, “Long day, kitty?”

Adrien simply nodded with a long exhale. “Yep. I had an awful, long photoshoot today and then I had to go to fencing practice and do my tutoring after that.”

He huffed, his blonde hair swaying slightly as he pouted rather sulkily. Unable to stop herself from giggling lightly, she ruffled his blonde curls. “Well, at least you were able to come over.”

He immediately brightened, looking up at her with a brilliant grin that caused her heart to stutter in her chest. His emerald eyes then glimmered at her mischievously as his grin turned into a smirk. “You’re absolutely right! And all I had to do was tell my father that we had a group project I needed to study for.”

Marinette threw her head back in a laugh, scratching right where his ears would be if he was transformed. Her eyes had closed due to her giggles so she missed the rather silly, lovestruck smile Adrien sent her. Eventually, when she calmed down, she looked down at him, biting her lip to stop her wide smile from getting too big. “You know, sometimes I wonder how it took me so long to figure out your identity. It’s so obvious that you’re Chat Noir.”

Adrien chuckled before purring at her, “That’s because I was purrfect at hiding my identity from you, m’lady. You, not so much.”

“What do you mean?” she frowned, feeling slightly offended. There were many times that she went to great lengths to keep her identity safe. How could he say that she wasn’t good at hiding it?

“Well,” he started with a shrug. “I had strong suspicions that it was you from the very beginning. In fact, if it wasn’t for the Multimouse incident I would have probably figured it out a long time ago.”

“Ah, yes, Multimouse,” Marinette said, rolling her eyes. “Where I managed to come up with a way to produce two of me and you just acted like you didn’t know what type of school it was.”

Adrien laughed before wiggling his eyebrows at her. “But it worked, didn’t it?”

Rolling her eyes again with a fond smile, she flicked him lightly on the forehead. “You’re such a dork.”

“But I’m your dork,” he said, giving her a goofy grin.

Marinette’s heart raced with that declaration. Did he have any idea what he did to her? Sometimes, she wished she could fluster him even half as much as he flustered her. 

Adrien then pouted, nudging into her hand which had paused from its previous track in his hair. Giggling quietly, she resumed her ministrations, enjoying the way that he cuddled even closer to her. If only she could brush a soft kiss against his lips. It would make this moment that much more perfect.

They sat in silence for a few minutes before a small furrow appeared between his brows. Glancing to the side, he murmured, “I remember how disappointed I was after I saw Multimouse, though.”

Marinette blinked at him in surprise. “What do you mean? Why were you disappointed?”

“Because it really did mean that Ladybug wasn’t you.” Adrien shrugged, his lips pursing.

Shock flooded through her as she tensed up. He noticed immediately, gazing up at her with a look of concern. He called her name hesitantly which snapped her out of her daze. Marinette looked down at him seriously, asking her question rather pointedly, “You were disappointed when you thought that Ladybug wasn’t me?”

“Yeah,” Adrien blinked like he didn’t quite understand why she was so shocked.

“Why?” She shook her head in confusion as she searched his gaze, wondering if she could somehow find the answer in his eyes.

“Well,” Adrien’s cheeks flushed as he gestured to her. “Because you’re you and I couldn’t imagine Ladybug being anyone else.”

Marinette gulped before stuttering, “E-even back then?”

“Of course,” he said simply, “You’re amazing, Marinette. I’ve known that for a while now.”

She let out a startled squeak and before she was able to stop herself, her lips pressed against his lightly. Immediately, she scrambled back though, jostling him from her lap as she fell onto the floor. Grimacing, she began stuttering out apologies, “Oh my god, I am so so sorry, Adrien. I-I don’t know why I did that. I know you’re over me and that was entirely my fault. Please, please forgive me.”

Adrien’s eyes which had closed during the quick kiss, immediately popped open once she said that. He frowned down at her before slowly sliding from her chaise to join her on the floor. Cautiously, he asked. “You think I’ve gotten over you?”

 Marinette’s mouth fell open at that. Clearing her throat, she asked, “W-well, haven’t you?”

Slowly, he shook his head and her mouth dropped open even wider at that. He couldn’t be serious? Could he? She was about to ask him another question, when he beat her to it. “Didn’t you get over me?”

Her whole face flamed as she shook her head rapidly. Her heart thundered in her ears as she gnawed on her lower lip. Marinette peered over at him nervously as Adrien drew even closer to her, cupping her cheek lightly. She leaned into his palm as her eyes fluttered closed. 

Quietly, he murmured, “You don’t ever need to apologize for kissing me, Marinette. In fact, I was wondering if we could do it again?”

She squeaked, barely able to nod before their lips connected again. Her nose bumped lightly against his as she immediately wrapped her arms around him. She tilted her head, deepening the kiss as she nibbled at his bottom lip. Adrien sighed into her lips as tingles raced up and down her spine. 

Eventually, she pulled back for air, gasping for breath as she looked over at him. His cheeks were flushed and his eyes were still closed as he smiled brightly. Butterflies roared to life in her chest as Marinette laughed. “We really are idiots, aren’t we?”

Adrien’s eyes opened as he beamed directly at her. “Most of the time, yes we are.”

Throwing herself back into his arms, she hugged him tightly. Leaning in, she left another light peck on his lips as she murmured, “I hope you know I’m never letting you go again.”

“Please don’t,” Adrien whispered before connecting their lips in a much longer kiss.

Like Jon’s been through so much shit and tossed around like a rag doll for a good portion of the series- it’s understandable he doesn’t want strangers touching him. It’s the trauma coming in full throttle. He’s been fucked over so MANY times by strangers and it breaks my heart to see him like this. But I was happy when I heard the *fabric rustles* once he joined back up with Martin- it shows that he really trusts him. How Martin is literally the only person who is gentle with him. And fuck now I’m crying over this-

Also, when I heard Jon refer to himself as Martins boyfriend, a little boost of serotonin went through me. I love themmm

And the fact that HELEN WAS MORE SCARED OF MARTIN THEN JON- Martin Kartin Blackwood who? I only know Martin “Knife” Blackwood.

I like to think Jon feel out of the sky and directly into Martins arms, no I will not be taking constructive criticism.

Also -quick comment on how Jonny wrote the Distortion- literally EVERYTHING makes perfect sense now. We all thought of Helen as Helen, not the same entity that was Michael- but when it was explained to us this episode it somehow made perfect sense, like everything she had done till that point made sense. How it was bad- evil, even. And I am sad.

12: what do you think is the best halloween film?

GINGER SNAPS oh it's ginger snaps 100%!!! werewolf movie set over the month of october with a bangin soundtrack.. iconic dialogue... not 2 mention the werewolf design!! literally the perfect movie. other honourable mentions include us (2019) for its perpetual "thriller" vibe, gorgeous shots and the best choreographed final battle in horror history + may (2002) because that was so utterly haunting AND had a halloween party scene so what more could u even ask for + return of the living dead (1985) because its srsly the dumbest zombie movie ever and its so much fun, tarman has THE COOLEST zombie design. also the damned are on the soundtrack!!

i like themmm!!! some of my favs are braindead/dead alive (1992), shaun of the dead, reanimator and evil dead 2. obviously. i especially like that they exist so i can recommend them to ppl who r new to horror as a genre and are nervous to jump straight into silence of the lambs or whatever
