February is the shortest month of the year, though it can seem quite long (or did before a stat holiday was added to it). It can seem even longer when you don’t get as many games played as usual! The King's last gift

Danny was tired, tired of being responsible for protecting the world. At first it was just Amity but the ghosts began to explore more and the halfa was exhausted. He was the only hero available and it was taking its toll.

He knew he couldn't go on like this, let alone with his coronation around the corner but he didn't know what else to do. He knew he couldn't interfere with the world after the crown was on his head. The world would fear him (maybe even more than now) and protecting them with so much power in hand could do more harm than good, but if he didn't protect them, who would?

His core ached at the thought of all those people begging for a hero who wouldn't come, so Danny took desperate measures, and cheated a little.

He visited Desiree; she watched him with a raised eyebrow, curious. And Danny did what he forbade long ago, he wished. He wished for the future and for humanity itself, he uttered the words he had wanted to say ever since he knew he would not be able to visit earth for a long time.

"I wish for the world to be safe even when I no longer live in it, I wish for there to be someone who can protect it, even if it's just a human."

Desiree blinked in surprise not expecting the King who had "forbidden" her to do such a thing. She smiled and nodded. Her power grew exponentially but neither she nor Danny said anything about it. The halfa would not undo that wish after all.

In New Jersey, Thomas and Martha Wayne were celebrating the birth of their son. Neither of them noticed the spark of magic entering the baby, nor the boy's unusually blue eyes. Bruce Wayne, the Ghost King's latest gift to mankind, had been born.

And years later, when the Justice League was formed and everyone was talking to each other, John Constantine looked at the dark knight curiously, wondering if he was aware that he was death's favorite.

I’m trying to write a “quick” reference doc of in-universe common knowledge for the players in my ttrpg campaign but every time I sit down to edit, it expands by another 200 words. But Earth? Oh boy humans went long way to where they are today.. Animals too like birds used to be dinosaurs(some still look like one and others remember they were big and powerful and fear no man) , whales ussd to be way smaller and walked on land, insects used to be way bigger etcetera

Just humans showing pictures of prehistoric animal and modern animal to bots/cons and them either being fascinated(Shockwave would be engrossed for sure) or straight up confused/sceptical

I think they do have a sort of evolution, depending on the universe.

In TFP, there was an off-comment that Seekers descended from Predacons that Starscream denied. In IDW/MTMTE, the biological differences between the Lost Colonies and Cybertron. Cyberverse explored more of their native fauna. Bayverse had the Dynasty of Primes and the hatchlings.

If anything, it's on a scale that's inconceivable to us, especially with the immense differences in lifespan. It varies from the iteration, but a single vorn is their equivalent of a calander year. 1 vorn = 87 Earth years of human perspective.

Shoot, the modern human is only a scratch of Earth's total years, and there are canon Cybertronians older than that and who are active combatants in their own war.

Look at the megafauna of North America. The massive trees still remember the immense animals that once dominated the land. Even when those creatures went extinct, those trees still retain the ecological quirks that relied upon them to spread seeds and propagate.

Think of it this way, Earth is on a scale that's so fast-paced that it's more like a contained, self-sustaining terrarium of terror and wonderment. Like there could have been Cybertronian field scientists and researchers that tracked the evolution of trees on Earth and have a rivalry with Team Shark because sharks came before trees!

Love writing fc!Cassandra she's so funny . Everyone's so rightfully paranoid that she's less violent than she used to be and lacks interest in killing people like "she can't have just started to go soft she has to be planning something" but no she's literally just gone soft. truly respect patho2's changes to the willows... the whole time in 1 I've been thinking "it would be nice if anna's interior reflected her being a hoarder of medicine by amassing a collection of other objects, thereby offering insight into her character and creating a sense that she has despoiled or disorganized the house by living in it" and 2 did hit that spot on.
