Does the Age Tech take into account the fact that the arrivals are baby boomers who know what tech and AI are?
The Age Tech is evolving as baby boomers, who make up a significant portion of today's seniors, become increasingly familiar with technology.
Here's how it manifests itself
Designing more intuitive interfaces
Tech age developers strive to create user interfaces that are simple, clean, and easy to navigate, drawing inspiration from design principles used in consumer apps and devices.
This includes large touchscreens, self-explanatory icons, voice commands and interactive tutorials
Integration of artificial intelligence (AI) 
AI is increasingly used in the tech age to personalize experiences, anticipate needs and provide proactive assistance.
For example, AI systems can analyze health data to detect anomalies, recommend personalized exercises or remind people to take medication.
Chatbots and AI-powered virtual assistants also facilitate communication and access to information.
Adapting to Baby Boomers' Technological Habits
Age tech companies are conducting studies to understand how baby boomers use technology and what their specific needs are.
This allows us to develop products and services that fit seamlessly into their daily lives, taking into account their preferences in communication, entertainment and health management.
For example, knowing that many Baby Boomers use social networks like Facebook allows companies to create products that use this platform as a means of communication.
Training and support 
There are many initiatives aimed at providing older people with personalized training and support to help them use age tech technologies.
This may include workshops, online tutorials, in-home demonstrations and telephone support.
In short, the tech age recognizes that baby boomers are increasingly comfortable with technology and adapts its solutions accordingly.
The goal is to create technologies that are user-friendly, useful and tailored to the needs and preferences of this generation.

Yeah I getcha. I was once like you. Pure and naive. Great news. I AM STILL PURE AND NAIVE, GAME DEV IS FUN! But where to start?
To start, here are a couple of entry level softwares you can use! source: I just made a game called In Stars and Time and people are asking me how to start making vidy gaems. Now, without further ado:

It has a bunch of plugins and UI stuff and assets for you to buy! It can be used even if you have LITERALLY no programming experience! (You'll just need to read the doc a bunch) You can also port your game to a BUNCH of consoles! ✨Cons: None really <3 Some games to look at: Doki Doki Literature Club, Bad End Theater, Butterfly Soup

Twine: Great for text-based games! GREAT FOR WRITERS WHO DONT WANNA DRAW!!!!!!!!! (but you can draw if you want) ✨Pros: It's free! It's simple! It's versatile! It has great documentation! It can be used even if you have LITERALLY no programming experience! (You'll just need to read the doc a bunch) ✨Cons: You can add pictures, but it's a pain. Bitsy: Little topdown games! ✨Pros: It's free! It's simple! It's (somewhat) intuitive! It has great documentation! It can be used even if you have LITERALLY no programming experience! You can make everything in it, from text to sprites to code! Those games sure are small! ✨Cons: Those games sure are small. This is to make THE simplest game. Barely any animation for your sprites, can barely fit a line of text in there. But honestly, the restrictions are refreshing! Some games to look at: honestly I haven't played that many bitsy games because i am a fake gamer. The picture above is from Under A Star Called Sun though and that looks so pretty

RPGMaker: To make RPGs! LIKE ME!!!!! NOTE: I recommend getting the latest version if you can, but all have their pros and cons. You can get a better idea by looking at this post. ✨Pros: Literally everything you need to make an RPG. Has a tutorial inside the software itself that will teach you the basics. Pretty simple to understand, even if you have no coding experience! Also I made a post helping you out with RPGMaker right here! ✨Cons: Some stuff can be hard to figure out. Also, the latest version is expensive. Get it on sale! Some games to look at: Yume Nikki, Hylics, In Stars and Time (hehe. I made it)

engine.lol: collage worlds! it is relatively new so I don't know much about it, but it seems fascinating. picture is from Garden! NOTE: There's a bunch of smaller engines to find out there. Just yesterday I found out there's an Idle Game Maker made by the Cookie Clicker creator. Isn't life wonderful?

Unity and Unreal: I don't know anything about those! That looks hard to learn! But indie devs use them! It seems expensive! Follow your dreams though! Don't ask me how!
GameMaker: Wuh I just don't know anything about it either! I just know it's now free if your game is non-commercial (aka, you're not selling it), and Undertale was made on it! It seems good! You probably need some coding experience though!!!
Godot: Man I know even less about this one. Heard good things though!
BUNCHA RANDOM ADVICE!!!!
-Make something small first! Try making simple: a character is in a room, and exits the room. The character can look around, decide to take an item with them, can leave, and maybe the door is locked and you have to find the key. Figuring out how to code something like that, whether it is as a fully text-based game or as an RPGMaker map, should be a good start to figure out how your software of choice works!
-After that, if you have an idea, try first to make the simplest version of that idea. For my timeloop RPG, my simplest version was two rooms: first room you can walk in, second room with the King, where a cutscene automatically plays and the battle starts, you immediately die, and loop back to the first room, with the text from this point on reflecting this change. I think I also added a loop counter. This helped me figure out the most important thing: Can This Game Be Made? After that, the rest is just fun stuff. So if you want to make a dating sim, try and figure out how to add choices, and how to have affection points go up and down depending on your choices! If you want to make a platformer, figure out how to make your character move and jump and how to create a simple level! If you just want to make a kinetic visual novel with no choices, figure out how to add text, and how to add portraits! You'll be surprised at how powerful you'll feel after having figured even those simple things out.
-If you have a programming problem or just get confused, never underestimate the power of asking Google! You most likely won't be the only person asking this question, and you will learn some useful tips! If you are powerful enough, you can even… Ask people??? On forums??? Not me though.
-Yeah I know you probably want to make Your Big Idea RIGHT NOW but please. Make a smaller prototype first. You need to get that experience. Trust me.
-If you are not a womanthing of many skills like me, you might realize you need help. Maybe you need an artist, or a programmer. So! Game jams on itch.io are a great way to get to work and meet other game devs that have different strengths! Or ask around! Maybe your artist friend secretly always wanted to draw for a game. Ask! Collaborate! Have fun!!!

anime drawing tutorial (?)
i had gotten an ask on my now old blog about how to draw younger characters, and the most important I've learned is... PROPORTIONS
It will save your life!! I was thinking forever about how to explain the differences between drawing an adult character versus a child character, and I landed on this (hope it helps!)

I start with the spine, (the red) and build from there. The younger spine is slightly shorter.
Then are the shoulders, arms, hands, and neck. Here we have the younger character's arm length much shorter than the adult character. Viewing it as one "piece" rather than the two an adult character has, as seen above. As well as a much smaller collarbone & shoulder setup.
Next is the head and lower body (legs & feet). Here we will draw the younger head much wider than how you would draw characters (it makes a lot of difference). And lastly, the thing that helps me also is the pelvic area, in the younger character is wider, and for the adult character, it should be more shaped, and almost "pointier".

Design of Strife's design is a real mystery to me.
After thinking about it, I think the intention is:
You play it like reverse CC: fight a hard enemy while helped by a large number of buffs, then whittle down the buffs until you're fighting them au naturel. This then unlocks the next difficulty, rinse and repeat.
Within battle, you're meant to exploit the lava fissures by deploying operators on top of them, managing the burn damage in exchange for bonus damage against enemies.
The thing is, the game is absolutely terrible at conveying this. There's no effort to make sure you know about the buff system, and there's no effort to make sure you know how lava fissures work.
The most the tutorial has to say is "if you use buffs you can't unlock the next set of stages". OK? The buff system isn't even available at the time they say that. It's not even unlocked until you lose a run at that rank (and even then it's relatively easy to miss). And besides, all I've been told is that I shouldn't use them, and since they're off by default maybe I should just ignore them.
Compare to CC, where you have to pass through the contract selection screen every time you start the stage.
The lava fissures have no tutorial at all, forcing you to rely on the poorly-worded tooltips. (Did you know you can long-press on special tiles to bring up a notification explaining them?) And you're unlikely to intuit their interactions, either; the lava only hurts friendlies, unless you put an operator on top, in which case they can scoop up some of the eruption and throw it on your enemies. Of course. They didn't even get a good animation, since they appear to only hit low tiles, but still deal damage to high tiles.
Compare to... pretty much any event with a stage mechanic, where they have dedicated tutorial stages focused on the interaction.
If these are (well, were) meant to be the experiments for new high-end content, then surely you should want players to be able to engage with it as intended, right?

back on my zelda thoughts
idk about you but i got sick of zelda running after people with big sorrowful puppy eyes begging them to listen to her(they wont) or to help link in totk pretty fast
#ganondoodles talks#totk spoilers#i just can stop thinking about how dirty she got done#she can be a tragic character without being constantly sad and scared#dare i say she contributed more positive to the game when she was a dragon#the only scenes she didnt look super sad was pretty much when talking about link at the teacup memory bc .. you know she actually knows him#and where shes essentially forced to decide to half kill herself in order to do literally anything for her own time#now that im thinking about it how the heck did anything on the tutorial even work with her giving her powers to you#and you sending the master sword to her#just feels like they scrambled to somehow get you her pwoers and the mastersword to her#some random bubbles of time magic idk lol#if the game went different#wouldnt it have been cool if those had been caused by zelda learning how to reastablish a connection to her own time#creating those weird time bubbles#and through the course of the game you find more and they let you interact with her more and more as shes learning how to use her powers#until at some point she finds a way to return herself#maybe even her spirit as a companion for a time before she gains control of it further#you know so she can actually at least TALK to you#giving her time powers out of nowehre and then not doing anything with it exept send her back in time somehow and time reverse a dagger#like what#wouldnt it just have made more sense when at first she did it unknowningly and then learned how to use it herself#and then .... well travel back again#ham fisted way to introduce a neat lil game gimmick i guess#and nothing more bc how dare she do anything on her own except .. sacrifice herself lol#i guess its meant ot be uwu tragic bc sonia got fridged too quickly for zelda to learn from her or whatever#which is why i said she learns on her own#idk man this game is driving me nuts

when you stroke a xanthos, a horse in your breeding farm will receive 10 energy points!

defrosting a frost has a chance of granting you a hypnos' blanket black market item! (when equipped to a horse this item allows it to be bedded without being registered in an equestrian center!) and on the first of each month a frost is granted to a player who defrosted her within the past month (:
ARCHIMEDES (1x a day)

archimedes will ask you a question, and if answered correctly you both make the horse more intelligent and win yourself an aging point! if you're not too savvy on horse trivia most of the answers are online somewhere to my understanding tho lol!
TOPAZ (5x a day)

you can congratulate up to 5 topaz a day, and they will net you 50 equus each! (250 equus total!)
this is still divine related but it isn't exactly one of the daily things here - if you rename one of your horses to "junior croesus" there is a chance it can turn into a croesus divine. similarly, there is a chance on the first of each month that a player who has logged in at least 20 days in the previous month can win the divine cascade! and for every player, as long as you have logged in the previous day, you will receive 100 equus in your reserve if you log on the next day :)
if you go to breeding farm > office > the safe haven

you can stroke one of three randomly selected horses residing in the safe haven, and sometimes they will give you an apple or some equus etc as a thank you :) i'm not sure how many times a day it is exactly but i know you can do it more than once lol, i just check every few hours and do it when it allows me to
if you go to achievements > daily objectives

there's a little place to win passes (premium currency) from daily objectives! you can get up to 30 a day - every now and then the requests are a bit nuts lol but often times theyre fairly easy! you can also swap out one objective a day for 20,000 equus. there's also a gauge that resets every week and if you fulfill ten of the objectives you're granted the horn of plenty black market item!
under trade > item exchange

there is a place you can swap out which black market items you have between other players up to three times a week! you can make offers and/or fulfill them:)
and on a final note for the quick item/money-grinding etc etc - i HIGHLY highly recommend doing their events when you can!! the minigames are usually pretty entertaining and the gifts are usually surprisingly generous for not being super paywalled!!
as of writing this they're doing two minigame events:

i only just started the blast: winter minigame a few hours and i already got two precious level companions, a fertility wand, 3*** victory ear bonnet + polo wraps, a lunge, a vintage apple, and 200 straw, and i still have three more chests waiting to unlock :D!! and even if you don't want to use the black market items you receive you can usually trade them in the item exchange so i try to get as many as i can regardless esp since theyre free!!
ok hehe that's about it off the top of my head for daily stuff sorry the post is so lengthy LMFAO but!! if you guys wanted tips about horse/donkey/pony/unicorn skill/gp maxing PLS feel free to ask that's my fav part of the game :") i unfortunately don't know jack shit about selling horses or running an equestrian center bc im usually on the consumer end lolol but!!!<3 ok yay have fun horsing around :3
