Just thinking about how for Luke’s parents every parents worst fear came true. Their son ran away, they haven’t had contact in months, don’t even know if he’s alive or where he is, and then one night they turn on the news and there he is, but it’s not because he’s a star. No. He is dead.

The last words that Luke and his mom said to each other were in anger. And we know that Luke’s dad wasn’t even home when he ran away as we can see him just pulling up in the driveway when Emily runs out.

Luke’s last interaction with his mom is him saying he never wants to see her again, but then up until his last days he regrets saying that and keeps looking for ways to reconnect.

But he never got to, because he died. And how did his parents find out? A news channel.

Nightshade had witnessed the awful act (children could be so cruel sometimes). And instead of chasing off the human kids, Nightshade thought it more important to check up on the sad-looking being as they tried retrieving their bag from the tree branches.

It did not go so well.

They landed on their back with a loud T H U M P and Nightshade hissed, just imagining how sore that must've felt. Luckily the ground was littered with leaves and hoped it cushioned their fall, just a tiny bit. When they didn't move after a minute or two, Nightshade grew concerned and that was when she made her move. It was only when she got closer that she could tell the figure did not smell human.

“Mm-hm. It doesn’t hurt.”

It didn't sound like they were lying but Nightshade thought some extra reassurance wouldn't hurt. "You sure? That was a heck of a fall! Didja bump your noggin'?," she asked, her voice sweet and chipper as always. She was bent over the figure at a sharp 90 degrees with her hands behind her back. She then straightened herself and looked up, spotting the bag - still dangling mockingly above them.

Perhaps this mythos was not much of a climber or a flier. Or perhaps, because they were traversing the human-world, could not use their innate abilities out in the open. But even without magick, Nightshade was sure she could assist. "Need some help?"

What is my special is the Metal Gear franchise, I’ve been a fan of it since 2019 and still going. Revolver Ocelot is obviously my favourite (HES JUST LIKE ME FR!!!) and MGS 2 is my favourite out of the whole franchise.

I’m big into westerns/cowboys, history, Evangelion, Star Wars (More of a casual fan), horror and anything to do with Hideo Kojima. I’m sadly bit of a film buff too.

!!INTRO POST JUMPSCARE!!

i forgot whether or not i ever made one of these, but it's kind of pretty long overdue either way??? i'm also kind of bad at these bc i don't like talking about myself (it feels weird) aANYWAYS my name's dex, i'm autistic, and i draw mainly. i do writing and stuff as well, but keep a lot of my "works" private because i'm HORRIFICALLY over-critical of that stuff and kind of scared to share it anyways. i have a lot of interests, my most consistent ones being:

Ok but this is such juicy interpersonal conflict. This is mwah, chef's kiss. The questions this introduces. Was Dragan the only duellist of note who was forced to lose against Jack on purpose or was there a whole slew of them? How many people did Jack actually beat legitimately before the Fortune Cup? How much more other than the PR stuff was fabricated for Jack's image?

Also, this is an absolutely unacceptable blow to Jack's pride—his expression in the fourth screenshot here really says it all. This is such a good way to call back to season 1 Jack and really get him invested in this match. I love this choice.
