Nothing will dispell the "the curtains were just blue" myth faster than writing something yourself, because the amount of pretentious symbolism i am putting in my silly little fanfics is ridiculous. I mean SO much with these words, literally every single one of them. This fic has twenty five typos and zero correct uses of punctuation but if there's curtains you bet your ass I put thought into what colour they were.

Hi! So uh lol I usually don’t send asks to others but as someone who also works with students ranging from toddlers to pre-teens (swim coach/elementary p.e) , I just wanna state that I’m sure your lead teacher would understand that you would perfer working with older students.
Every person has a preference there’s no shame in it and teachers normally understand that some would perfer working with certain age groups than others.
So I would state something along the lines to your lead teacher “ I am really appreciative that you gave me the opportunity to learn and engage with students who are young toddlers. I have learned a lot and you’ve been a great help. However I was wondering if I could switch to older students since that is where my passion lies and I want to get more experience with them as well.”
you can always use the reason of your missing units as a point as well, where you don’t feel comfortable enough to continue if she asks for further reasoning.
You say your lead teach is nice then I’m positive she’ll understand and hold no I’ll intent towards you. And if she does get offended somehow then that’s not really a good teacher if I’m being honest haha. All teachers have a preference my dude, trust me I’m sure your lead teacher does too.
sorry I rambled haha, hope this helps a bit? :)
Thank you so much! This did help me feel more confident about how I plan to move forward. Plus today I got to be with the older kids for a little bit and it made me realize how much I missed them and how I’m more comfortable with them too. I’ll talk to the lead teacher about it and she is so nice so I’m sure she’ll be okay with it. After that I have to speak to the director and hopefully I’ll be able to go back with the older kids. 🥹

hehe ghost-turbo haunting felix au
turbo is connected to the last piece of his code in the whole arcade - a trophy he gifted to felix in mid 80s as a symbol of him genuinely caring about their relationships on par with being the best racer. felix also gave him one of his medals and both kept their gifts next to other rewards, but when roadblasters and turbotime were unplugged, the medal was gone with everything else
now, after burning in cola-lava turbo is basically dead, but scraps of his code still were intertwined with the trophy (after all, it was his first winner's cup, but felix never knew about it), giving turbo an opportunity to exist as a shadow incapable of interacting with anything and anyone besides felix, who kept the trophy even after the roadblasters incident
also I went crazy in tags, feel free to check them out

If you are a fan of anybody's work, whether it be art, writing, music, translating, editing, videos, etc- it is incredibly important that you share that you enjoy their work.
It could be a comment, a tag, an anonymous ask saying thank you or something about their most recent piece you enjoy, anything. Creation is more often than not a social thing, and a little note or comment really goes a long way. People are sharing a little piece of themself every day, here on the internet!
So if you don't mind a little challenge, on the next piece of art* you see that you find personally impactful, leave a little tag or comment saying something about how much it means to you.
*this includes writing, music, edits, jokes, anything that has undergone the act of being created by a person

I give you an

Also I stole this ask just so I can post this fuggin weirdo I made smhh (I raise from the dead just to post an oc again LMAOAOAOAO)
Hopefully this will be my last one in a long while I can live with 7 fuggin wh characters HHFHFUDJSNKSSJ- well- technically 8 if you include Betsy-
But to keep it (somewhat) short and sweet- my loser- a ye ol Milkman- Zachary Milksop (chronically lactose intolerant) and Betsy (a lil mascot moo sentient puppet)
Another character made almost spur in the moment again (like Mari) though thankfully not another bUG, but just some average human smhh. He’s a really simple guy, a loser, is as interesting as normal milk— he’s just the ye ol milkman who delivers you that gud shid smhh— enjoyer of the finer things in life (lunchables). A lil flirty and charming (in possibly the cringiest way possible) however he doesn’t really seem to pick up anyone besides the local cows that constantly harass him (and eats his pants). He enjoys watching them though, from v e r y m u c h afar——
hes just kinda, “that guy”
Also Betsy- a very sweet woman! She always greets everyone and has the friendliest extroverted personality ever! Always the type to bring (albeit tiny) gifts for her favorite neighbors and always leads when talking to anyone. Not like she would allow Zach to say anything anyway, she hates his polyester guts (and only him smhh)

a golden tip i can give to cryptos or any woman who can't openly talk about radical feminism yet (online or irl), whether it's because you have tra friends or you're scared of being criticized or whatever reason, is to stop using certain terms or following their rules for yourself. don't use the word queer, even if you can't call it out when other people do. same for sex worker. don't put pronouns in your bio. if there's a pronoun option in forms leave it blank (if you can't there's usually a "prefer not to say" option). don't refer to yourself (or anyone but specially not yourself) as cis. i assure you most people won't question it because you're technically not even doing anything. but it'll make you feel one heck of a lot lighter to not let your speech and your behavior be dictated by a pseudo-religion you don't want to be a part of.
