they are so autistic it's unreal. like ill admit i might be projecting a bit but like. the tone and cadence they speak with changes very little whether they're despairing, enraged, or delighted, it is implied they don't physically emote much, they don't respond well to strangers unexpectedly touching them even if it's just a tap on the shoulder, their jokes fall flat to most people, they oh-so-conveniently don't have visible eyes so nobody can tell if they're making eye contact...i could go on.

2) on what do you disagree with other fans of your f/o?

honestly most of the serious bad takes about them come from people who don't like them lmao. the only thing i can think of is that i think the line where they speak french is cute. idc that the fandom dunked on them for it.

7) did your f/o deserve better?

hghghgh like i KNOW there was no real way narratively speaking to keep them in their role without the implication that we're just delaying the inevitable but the fact that it's implied they fade away even in the best possible ending makes me so sad. like damn i just want them to peacefully retire and move to a nice little cottage to write their novels.

10) how did you feel when you realized “oh of course i had to like That Character”?

a little mad at myself for being predictable and falling for the morally ambiguous guy with the pretty voice lmao but also like...alarmed by how hard i fell. like it was so funny how i tried to like, actively stop myself from talking about them because my thoughts were "if i start talking about them a lot i'm not going to stop"

Giggle Glow AU idea: Macaque would use his shadows to make Wukong laugh or giggle whenever he can, like letting the others trip around Wukong, letting them make funny noises or whatever. No one knows this of course.

Every time Wukong would start giggling only to be embarrassed after a few moments because he started glowing. And because Macaque is Macaque he finds that very hilarious and starts giggling himself, causing him to glow faintly too.
