Not to clog up your inbox with this stuff but honestly still at the paul isabelle adjani possession because it just makes sooooooo much sense especially because the idea that George is Bob was kinda a joke but when you think like really think about it the teacher Anna -Helen - was super close to Bob aka the two sides of Paul the one close to John (Johns paul) the one close to George (George's paul - the two pauls often thought to be the same) and the way in the end when Bob runs to the bathtub to drown himself when the police come while that's not George behavior it's more the idea he's leaving getting away from the mess of John&Paul going underwater to the octopus garden the way even the subway breakdown scene like Paul wouldn't do that! BUT HE WOULD the subway scene Anna is alone, no cameras, no Mr Pr man has to come out here because there isn't anyone to impress he has no one but himself to be vulnerable in front off the way after the breakdown scene Mark finds Anna disgusting something something the way John was treating Paul 71 because of something out of their control and some of what John said sounds like he's disgusted with Paul and his new 'straight' lifestyle

Does this make any sense? It's just making me insaneeee replace Anna's ballerina job with Paul teaching piano or something I'm going to throw up

Oh, George definitely needed a wholesome version of Paul to play with...not a high-strung Possessed who daydreams about fucking the music creature elsewhere!

That said—doesn't the bathtub drowning also work as an attempt to follow Paul (and John) into The Deep, where the creatures live?

Maybe that's too pat. If anything, George/Bob grew up and moved out...and found another family altogether...! (Plays well with others)

And if there's anything Paul needed, it was a subway freakout. I think John would have loved that, actually, and Mark's disgust with Anna is more with her having done things behind his back than with what exactly she has done...

doctober day 19: memory

INT: How much singing and composing did you witness [in India]?

PS: I didn't see much, because they did that kind of thing mostly at night. So I only ever saw or was part of that one session that I photographed. I was walking back to my tent late one afternoon before dinner, and I just heard John and Paul singing from behind the trees. And I walked over and saw what they were doing, and I went and got my camera, which is the only time I took my camera out on purpose. So I took a few shots through the fence, then I walked through and just sat down, with Paul and John side by side, and just hung out. Paul had a piece of paper with the words, "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da, oh, how the life goes on," and it was on the step beneath him. The first picture in the book is the shot of him looking down and his hand is off the guitar, and he's reading the words, which he didn't have memorized yet. And they just played with it for about five minutes, having a wonderful time fooling around. It was such fun, I mean them having so much fun. When I first sat down, they were actually just playing bits and fragments of their older songs.

INT: Previously recorded material?

PS: Yeah, like Michelle and Eleanor Rigby. Just musically meandering. Then Paul started looking down at the piece of paper and I took a picture.

INT: Was George around?

PS: No. But Ringo was siting there with his leg crossed, a cigarette in his hand. So after they had played Ob-La-Di, Ob-la-Da over and over again, they stopped for a breather, and that's when Paul looked up at me, smiled, and with this really wonderful twinkle in his eye, said, "That's all there is so far, we haven't got the words yet." So that was the only time I experienced it.

INT: That's interesting because Lennon had stated in many interviews that he and McCartney had really stopped composing together in late '64 or early '65, but Paul said in his recent book that they actually composed together right to the end. So what you witnessed reinforces Paul's version.

PS: That is interesting. And they were having so much fun together. There's no question about it.

Look man, I have never "shipped" Dan and Phil, because they are real people, and treating real people like fictional characters has always skeeved me out, personally. Like I know it's done in the tabloids and such, but I never liked that either. And knowing the lengths Dan and Phil had to go to in order to protect their privacy (the second apartment!), and the fact that people trying to out him and Phil took a real toll on Dan's mental health . . . yeah I did / do look badly on people who would harass them in comments on their videos and try to make floor plans of their apartment and like, even on Dan's coming out video where he specifically asked people not to be like "lol we been knew" people STILL commented "lol we been knew" . . .

But.

They built a house together. Like they are not just roomies, they BUILT A HOME TO LIVE IN TOGETHER. The sheer level of that commitment is like. God. Dan said they are "basically soulmates" but like

Their relationship is their business. 100%. And everyone needs to respect that. Whatever it is, that's for them. But they built a home to live in together. And they've decided to do that after all these years. After their highest highs and lowest lows. After Phil ate glue. After Dan sprayed deodorant in his eyeball.

Are they a couple? I mean, I don't know for sure, but also I don't think it matters. Because they very clearly love each other, however they define that. They have each other to lean on. And I'm crying (in a good way) because that is so beautiful, and life is hard for us queer folks, but they found and have each other despite that and I'm just so happy for them.

Don't wanna overshare directly on that post about Hide Your Love Away but I get so emotional about that song ugh. When I first started listening to the Beatles a teenager, before I really knew anything about John/any of the band's personal lives, I would sing it in my room and love not changing the 'she' pronouns because then it sounded so explicitly like I was singing about being gay

Finding out years later that John was queer and seeing that song in a whole different way (a way that was so much closer to what it meant to me anyway) was so important to me and it will always be one of my favourite songs, Beatles or otherwise

Boomer has horrid object permanence (totally not like me /s) - he can and will forget about some things unless they're right in front of him, the list of those includes: food, people, the whole idea of eating/hunger, sometimes clothes, plans.

Also, Flash adores it slightly, because when they're deeper into their relationship, every time he pops up (even if he was gone only for a second) he gets a kiss and a "'ello" mumbled to him softly. He abuses this power a lot.

Cap believes that anything that can fit in his mouth could be eaten. Does not question if it should be eaten.

He was born in a small town/village in Australia, everyone knew everyone type of thing. Sadly that also meant that everyone knew he was a bastard in the literal meaning of the word.

Loves his mother, does not believe she loves him. Thinks that she's just a good person, that's why she took such a good care of him. She does love him, btw.

I usually hc that she died when he was pretty young, leaving him alone, but in a world where she didn't, she'd love Barry.

If Owen lives, I'd imagine he's actually pretty close to Wally in age, if not even older, since Boomer's like 45 years old in my head.

Wally, 22 years old, looking at his new "step-brother" who's 25 years old and looks totally unbothered about the new family he aquaried (he knows every single Flash fam member while none of them know even his name for the first few months)

Owen is a lot like his father, but I'd imagine he's softer around the edges than his dad. Also, lesser accent, since he moved a lot, most of his life.

Owen had rough teenage years, but Boomer was a rock trough them. Good for them.

Flash fam takes a lot of time to get used to two different speedsters - usually the biggest difference is the fact they're use reverse Speedforce or smth alike, but this time Digger is a straight-up fake speedster, while Owen isn't one (even if he has patience of one), though his agility is through the roof. (In some versions, while Owen is! A speedster, he only throws his boomerangs superfast, instead of running! Which is, like, crazy)

At the moment, Owen is acting rather careless. He's well known around most of the Rouges, which also means that if anyone is trying to get to them, they might focus on him. He might or might not ignore the danger fully and deem it "silly"

Flash fam, when they start getting used to them, are actually easily swayed towards Owen. Digger doesn't hold it against them, using "once a rogue, always a rogue" excuse, while the truth was simple: Owen was a kid or practically a kid to most of them - he's easily impressed and not many things can beat the excited kid looking at you like ya hung the stars & moon in the sky Those hcs took a while to get out, but here they are (maybe bc I got fully into Owen at some point while writing them, oops-)
