a killing game greeting?!?!?! now that's what i'm all about!

strong disagree with Kristal on Lake being the first victim. like, Lake nearly survived the horror episode for a reason-- she's strong and smart. instead (though it's hard to pick who the victim would be without knowing who the killer is), i think that the first victim would be someone frailer, like Aiden or Tess. although, their social capital might save them, if it's too hard to catch them alone. i'd say Fiore, but her smarts would be scary to face off against, and you have to kill a literal child. you could also kill Yul, under the rationale that anyone would have a reason to target him, so it doesn't reflect poorly on you? i'm assuming that Danganronpa "you have to get away with it" rules still apply, given that Danganronpa was in the video title.

honestly not sure how i feel about Riya making late game, either. on one hand, she definitely has the skills for it, but i also feel like she would kill on the earlier side. she would definitely want to get out to her regular life and/or win any prize that's offered, and i think she would trust in her acting skills to help her get away with the crime (whether that turns out to be accurate or not). tbh, i could totally see Gabby surviving. kindhearted enough to probably not kill anybody herself, but also enough of a wildcard that other people probably wouldn't want to mess with her. biggest downside is definitely that she could get roped into doing something with Ellie that could get her killed. but, if Ellie was the only one who died, then Gabby would get the "someone i was really close to died and i have to live on to remember them" bonus points!

okay, so, like, i tried every trick in the book i've learned thus far to get the Dan link you sent me to work-- swapped I's for l's, checked for spaces, pasted the link directly into the search bar, pasted the second half of the link on to what i could determine as the "command" for playing a linked video-- and none of them would work. so, i investigated by searching "dan disventure camp greeting" on youtube itself, and as far as i could gather this was probably the right one...? the playlist i found it on had the DVD_OD part of the link in it, and it was posted 4 days ago, so it would make sense if it was something you were sending in now. if this was the wrong one, then you can try to send me the right one again some other time. but i just wanted to prove that i really do try to get it to work any time that i say that there's a link that doesn't work :,)

Riya making her own production company with the $3 mil is honestly really cool! especially if she used it to help elevate the voices and careers of more women of color like herself who are having a hard time getting their careers off of the ground.

of course, that also then re-raises the criticism some people had that Riya's super sad and deep ending really doesn't work, because other than the opinions of her fellow competitors, her life is pretty great (rich, dream job, sister who loves her, likely still plenty of fans, etc). you can't win 'em all over, i guess.

Aiden deserved more of a chance to chew out Riya after her win in the finale. it's great to hear more of his sass.

also, yay, Meant to be Yours! quite possibly my favorite song off of the Heathers soundtrack (that or Candy Store, naturally), and Viester performed it stunningly as usual. i also really like the acting that the animator implemented to accompany the song-- i feel like there was more care put into it than some of the standard "stand and talk" greetings. i mean, how can you not with such a sweeping track? :D

So in the end, I actually want to bring back this reinterpretation series because I get a lot of dopamine from researching and glueing shit together to make something semi comprehensible. (also deeply sorry for the botched Evan drawing, I wasn't looking when I was lasso-ing some of the other drawings LMAO)

When it comes to my designs for YHS, I'm not sure if I already wrote this, but for each of them, I like having a real person + other fictional characters (if needed) in mind whenever I'm designing them.

For Funneh, it was Itsfunneh (as in the youtuber) and Riley from Inside Out.

For Gold, it was Goldenglare and another classmate from last year.

With Alec, originally it was the Christian Slater who played JD from Heathers (1988), but then when I finished drawing him in the concept art, he reminded me more of a classmate of that same year + a childhood friend that I used to fight for the player 1 wii remote controller. They both had that snarky, blunt personality. One had the boldness and the other one was more mischevious, which I feel like Alec both has.

For Kyran, I wasn't thinking of someone CONCRETE, I was thinking more about yk, the vague geek archetype that was rlly prevalent back in the 90s - 2000s (Kyran gives off Big Bang Theory vibes which is a not compliment by the way). I also knew that Kyran would probably give off that "I try to look presentable and cool like in those fantasy medias I consume, I try to look like my escapism, except I only end up reinforcing the things that I don't like about myself" so he just looks like he's in a poorly made cosplay and shifts uncomfortably as he tries to navigate the weird feeling of not liking himself... Even though he clearly has something really cool with him going on, except he's too scared to embrace it because it doesn't fit into typical, acceptable standards... Anyway, so I ended up with that, and as I squinted my eyes looking at him, he reminded me of someone of last year that I lowkey despised. LISTEN, he perfectly fitted into those weird incel criterias as well.

For Evan, BASICALLY this friend of a friend acted exactly like him and it was scary as fuck. So it was him and random members from boy bands of the 2010s. Except I wanted him to also look pretty young, just not fitting ENOUGH yet to look like a 20 year old like these boy groups. I wanted him to look like he was LEANING onto that style. I wanted baby fat (to show that he's still a little young and also design wise it just made more sense si

For Celeste, she is someone that is completely off from the norm compared to Funneh's friend group-- which makes sense given that she looks like she barely speaks to anyone and is off to her own world. I was very inspired by Fern Mayo's character (who is played by Judy Greer btw) from Jawbreaker (1999) (also I very much enjoy that the only 2 movies I've mentioned yet are both about high school and killing people. OKAY that was poor wording, trust me I am not obsessed with high school NOR killing people, it's just that they both fit into the slightly cynical and "I don't know what this story is about" type beat that YHS has.) She also reminded me of one of my classmates, reminded me of my teacher... And they all share the same quality of being eccentric.

For Yumi, I decided to sorta break that rule of only trying to find real people within my character designs because she stands more like a mysterious, 'alluring' shadow. She almost doesn't feel real. It almost feels like not giving her any concrete humans to work with is like stripping her humanity, BECAUSE she is devoid of humanity. I wanted to only get references of DRAWINGS depicting people based on their vibe or their social utilities. I got inspired by Perfect Blue (1997), bijinga paintings (which are depictions of beautiful women that were especially common back in the 17th-19th century, which references Yumi's ethnic roots as well. Also their culture back then, depicting these women in such a way was because that's what they wanted to strive for. They're more like beauty concepts than tangible people, which is perfect for Yumi). The reason why I've been struggling to draw her since then is because I had a specific way of seeing her; compared to the others, she should look perfect, so perfect that they don't look human. I wanted her to look like a painting (hashtag The Picture of Dorian Gray) , sharp on the edges but also smooth at times, can bend from disgustingly menacing to ethereal.

Gregory in third person pov - the realisation he liked you

he was zoning out at the swan gazebo and drawing some sketches with his charcoal pencil. The first bit of the facial anatomy was done, and he used French bread to remove the lines. to make the face he slowly did the eyes and made them defined and full of life, the nose features, and soon enough he had nearly finished carefully doing each strand of hair falling perfectly around the face he wasn't even thinking about who it was but when he stopped to finally look at it realised who it was. 'Oh no,' looking at it more, he tilts his head back, closing his eyes shut to not let the sun make him dizzy. 'noooo' now he was roughly pressing the charcoal to the paper. 'i just really like you face' drawing the smile you always wore around him. 'Ugh, you don't have to look so happy..' he kept drawing, now to try and get it just right. remembering all the times you expressed it. 'im not really into the love that you flaunt in some bright font' smirking to himself 'but if that's what you want ill make it snappy.- wait what' he looked around noticing no one was looking at him he sighed 'i just feel so out of place' he finished your face. 'but not when you near me' moving on to the shoulders. 'when your gone, I'm like a plant with no root' he made quick work of the shape and made the clothes 'or a ball that's on mute' he smiled looking at his work 'don't you dare call me cute, you should fear me' a hand on Gregory's shoulder makes him jump, it was bluewer telling him he needs to sort out a purple house conflict, and to bring cheslock to sort out a fight. sighing and carefully putting his sketch away, a small smile on his soft features. 'Now i like your stupid face'.

He was just out of view of everyone trying to leave, and i pulled him into a room with a bright smile. "hiya, would you like to dance in the panic room violet?" He simply smiled. "I made a promise so sure." he held my hands, and i started to slowly waltzes in a random backroom. away from the crowed and prying eyes and i could see that every few movement he was getting more and more pale, as we turned slightly in the dance "Now I feel nauseous, As if I drank a cup of stuff you clean your countertops with" i giggle a little as we stop. he lets go of my hands, to hold his head, he feels dizzy but i come prepared knowing about this, with some water in a canteen. "you probably did But Lysol won't solve this, so have some water." i handed his the medium sized flask, to which he hesitantly took a sip with shaky hands. "im out of options, arnt i?" he softly smiled after a few moments, and i was satisfied to get a little dance. making sure he was okay. but i felt bad. "you can head back now i understand this was a lot, sorry" he sighed "oh its okay and thank you, It's past my bedtime and I'm honestly exhausted" i smile as he hands back my water flask. "But if you want me, I'll be here." Gregory and i walked out of the room and said out good nights before he went wherever, and i returned to the ballroom to see Elizabeth and everyone.

"Does he really love me? Does he think I'm too much." My pacing stops as i shook my head and returned to walk around. "Am I hanging by a string? Am I pushing my luck?" I looked at the two with confusion, hands out, doing some gesture. they were still intrigued, and i just wanted an answer. "He says I'm his beloved. He says I'm enough. but every time I kick and scream, he tells me to shush!" waving your arms up and down in frustration, and at this, the friends pay more attention. shock on soma's face, making an o shape. "He told you to what!" My best friend joining in, equally surprised. "he told you to, huh!" Ciel bored of our shit huffed out a sigh before speaking. "I think you shouldn't really worry. and you're blowing this up," and I hastily replied, almost yelling. "But I'm falling in love! Does he wanna break up!?" I gripped the hood of my purple house uniform, pulling it over my face, which was red in embarrassment, and I felt some paper in there. taking it off my head a small envelope fell out of my hood, it had a clear purple wax seal with the house cress. 'That wasn't there before'

He couldn't stop thinking about how they would react, to him dying. 'If i just vanished, do you think you'd manage' laying in his bed contemplating how you would miss him. 'Or would you disappear right besides me?' A tear came into his eye. As he continued to think of you, how would you react to what he's done, more and more tears came out, little by little. 'Do you think you're ready? When i went unsteady,' his tears ran down his checks, smearing the eyeliner. 'lover, please prepare for my absence.' he stifled his cries with the ball of his palm, keeping it in. lipstick smearing on his hand as he bit down harder, more tears rolling down, landing on his pillows staining them. 'absence makes the heart grow stronger', wiping away his tears with the back of his hand. 'pray my baby will not squander everything to gain by my leaving' taking his hands away from his face, to look at them they shook, as he starred at them blurry vision from crying, the bite mark on his right one blending red. 'and if i return the favour.' thinking to all the sweet parts you shared together. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. intends to end his independent presidential campaign and endorse former President Donald Trump, according to two sources familiar with the plans. The sources cautioned that talks are ongoing, but there will be clarity by the end of the week. One of the sources said the campaigns are working toward a joint appearance.

The decision to drop out will end the most prominent third-party candidacy in the 2024 race. Kennedy announced Wednesday that he will give a campaign speech addressing “his path forward,” days after his running mate said the campaign faced a choice about staying in the 2024 election or dropping out to back Donald Trump. Kennedy’s campaign announced he will hold the event in Phoenix on Friday. Trump, meanwhile, is also set to host an event on Friday night, in Glendale, a Phoenix suburb.  Nicole Shanahan, Kennedy's running mate, said Tuesday that the ticket is weighing two options right now. One is to stay in the race and "risk" a Harris-Walz presidency, as she put it in a podcast interview, while the other option was to drop out of the race and "join forces" with Trump.

Trump's running mate, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, told NBC News in an interview Wednesday that "there's been a lot of communication back and forth" between Kennedy and his campaign. This confirms what we know: Kennedy Jr. was running a diet MAGA campaign anyway, and that most of his voters were previous Trump voters for 2016 and/or 2020.

Tim Drake

I love Tim. He's my favorite Robin, the one I grew up reading (even if I never read how he became Robin in the first place) and the one I know best. He's who I wanted to be like when I was younger (they all were actually).

Bucky Barnes

Baby boy has been through a lot but he's always bounced back. He's a great in proving that you can go through hell and make it to the other side.

He’s Dean’s world, John loves him, he’s the baby of the two brothers and uses that to his advantage. Smart, pretty, deadly, nice, and sweet. He’s everything a person would want.

He’s the youngest of the seven, the official sheriff (it’s all of them, he just took the actual job and Chris is in charge), he’s eager to do what’s correct, Buck literally took him under his wing from the get go (which got Chris to start liking him), he adores his friends and family, and he’s handsome as heck.

He’s an asshole and knows it. Is one of the smartest people on Atlantis, there are a lot of them, scared to death of crap but still does it. He's also a bastard but that is him. I also firmly believe that we have a genuine moral duty to make fun of fascists. I’m not even joking. As OP notes, they love being portrayed as powerful. They don’t care if people call them evil or racist or cruel, they may even prefer it. But they cannot stand to be laughed at because it tears down their entire image, and that is all they have.

Trump hated Alec Baldwin parodying him on SNL. Xi Jinping censors people who compare him to Winnie the Pooh. Hitler couldn’t stand Charlie Chaplin. You get the point.

Satire is important. It’s one of the most effective tools we have to combat fascism. It’s why comedians are often so good at speaking truth to power.

I think democrats and liberals got way too attached to the whole “when they go low we go high” thing. It was an ineffective strategy then and it is now. The moral high ground here doesn’t really mean anything when the other side is trying to instate a Christian-fascist-white supremacist dictatorship. It’s a little like when kids get punished for fighting back against their bullies. Sticks and stones and all that bullshit.

And you know what? They are weird. Putting the ten commandments in schools is weird. Putting a stupid bandage on your ear because you’re enamored with the leader of your death cult is weird. Suggesting that you can inject bleach to treat disease is weird. Making comments about your infant daughter’s future boobs is weird. (Trump really did that to Tiffany when she was a baby). Equating embryos to living children is weird. JD Vance is weird, even if he (probably?) didn’t actually fuck a couch. These guys are all weird. And not weird in the way that most of us faggots on tumblr are weird. Weird in the way your racist uncle on Facebook is weird. Weird in the way the guy who masturbates on the subway is weird. Weird in the way the influencer trying to sell you laxatives is weird. Weird.

PHILADELPHIA — Former President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he knows who his vice presidential pick will be — and gave a clue about his or her likely debate night plans. When asked by NBC News during a Philadelphia campaign stop whether he has decided on his vice presidential pick, Trump responded, "in my mind, yeah," adding that the person will “most likely” be at Thursday’s debate against President Joe Biden. "They'll be there," he continued. "I think we have a lot of people coming." Trump said that “nobody knows” his choice yet. NBC News has previously reported that Trump is zeroing in on Doug Burgum, JD Vance and Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., as possible top contenders for the slot. Sources familiar with the selection process told NBC News that Burgum, the governor of North Dakota, and Vance, an Ohio senator, are considered the top two finalists. Rubio is still being considered, though a constitutional hiccup would require that either Trump or Rubio establish residency outside of Florida. Trump senior adviser Brian Hughes said in a statement that the campaign's top criterion for selecting a running mate “is a strong leader who will make a great President for eight years after his next four year term concludes.” Trump is holding informal policy sessions with confidantes in the lead-up to the debate, including possible vice presidential contenders. Vance spoke with Trump about the economy and inflation, and Rubio met with Trump when the former president was in D.C. earlier this month.

Per NBC News reporting, Donald Trump knows who his running mate will be. That person will attend the debate on Thursday.

The unveiling of who Trump picked at VP may be revealed at the debate or anytime before the RNC Convention.

Doug Burgum, J.D. Vance, and Marco Rubio are the most likely choices to be considered, though Trump could change it up by picking someone else entirely.
