#JJK Ryomen Sukuna Critical

Might have to make that Sukuna analysis post sooner than I thought, lmao. Talking through my understanding of the character and my frustrations with his writing is getting me to a clearer point, but I need the evidence to back up my arguments; and to assess if I'm barking up the wrong tree. I'm already going to be rereading the first half of the manga again, and need to do so specifically to find what Kenjaku has said about Tengen, but it's mildly annoying. Even for a vent post, I want to make sure I have a basis to work off of--not just my likely-flawed recollections.

Something I'll specifically be tackling is the weight of Sukuna's words and actions. How he carries himself, whether or not what he tells himself and others matches up to his reality, and especially how he treats Yuji. He seems very much the kind of guy to believe in his own lie, thinking he's more secure than he is. Part of it is the sheer 'And then the circumstances they needed magically fell into their lap.' contrivances that keep popping up in JJK. I'm not sure that any character has suffered worse for it (in terms of being entertaining and reputation) than Sukuna. Not even Kenjaku, I think. But like I said, I need evidence.

Strength and humanity in the narrative of jjk

Gojo is Sukuna's mirror but he is not his foil. Gojo being Sukuna's mirror shows most post chapters 222, more so in 236. The most obvious similarity is their strength; Ryomen Sukuna is the strongest sorcerer in history and Gojo Satoru is the strongest sorcerer of modern times. 

Another thing is their hedonistic nature. Chapter 236 makes it more prominent in Gojo, in his desire to reach Sukuna, his satisfaction with dying to a worthy opponent, him "doing jujutsu for the kicks of it". It makes more sense narratively if you view it as Gege making him Sukuna's mirror. I see it as a great disservice to Gojo's character that disregards his desire to protect the youth and rebuild the jujutsu society. 

(And no matter what people say the students aren't prepared for it, especially politics wise. The remaining elders will most likely fill the power vacuum left after the slaughter of the higher-ups while the students are busy exorcizing curses all over Japan. Gakuganji is a vital ally in that but his change is thanks to Yaga and we don't know the extent of political prowess of Utahime or Kusakabe. The only student with any knowledge of the conservative faction is Kamo. Again, no thanks to Gojo. It's clear he expected to be the one leading the political change as the Gojo clan head.) 

Humanity is their ultimate difference. Sukuna has discarded his ease, he doesn't care about love or loneliness. Satoru on the other hand is burdened by it, his desire to form connections with others that he doesn't allow because of him viewing himself only through the prism of his strength, is what makes him want to connect with Sukuna (I still think the teach him love part is stupid and nothing will convince me otherwise 💀). It would be great if Gege showed his care for his students as an example of his humanity (Sukuna doesn't care for anyone - Gojo does) but Gege hates Gojo too much to do that. 

Unlike Gojo, Yuuji is Sukuna's foil and in some instances (e.g. the Shibuya fight with Mahito) his mirror. They have opposing values, strengths and weaknesses. Sukuna's strength lies in his intelligence, his understanding of jujutsu and his techniques (interesting to note, like Sukuna Yuuji masters concepts he was explained on the first try like the black flash or imbuing items with curse energy). Yuuji's lies in his values and beliefs, he doesn't back down no matter what and will keep going even on broken legs. Sukuna preaches about the importance of having an overwhelming sense of self and disregard for others, which Yuuji directly opposes with his cog identity, the purpose of which was to protect others. Yuuji finds strength in his connections with others, whether they taught him (Todo, Gojo) or to carry on their wishes (Nanami, Higuruma). 

Now that we have 248, I can confidently say Sukuna's ideals are weak. When someone weak is able to stand on his level just because of the strength of their beliefs, he finds it unnerving as it forces him to confront the lack of his own ideals. He says he loathed them as a human. 

Yuuji's indomitable spirit is the reason he is Sukuna's equal and why he is the protagonist. Fight me about it <3333

What do you think of chapter 257? I love that Sukuna is a monster even before he was born, it's great that his evilness doesn't have a justification or that it's a product of a "trauma" like other villains, he's just a monster. This was one of my favorite chapters without a doubt, I really wish Gege would show us at least something about Sukuna's childhood, it would be great to know what he was like as a child and why he had that perception of "being an unwanted child".

Idk man I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of the direction the writing has taken. Its a clusterfuck to me. I'm really happy you're enjoying it though!

Personally I think if Sukuna had known his twin and they'd grown up at least into young children and had a relationship/rapport like other anime siblings - Sukuna killing him would've hit much harder. If you want to showcase his cruelty or desperation at the time, the stakes and motivation would've felt much higher.

As is he...absorbed his brother in the womb? Ok. Feels like something that just kinda happened.

As Satoru sat next to you, the woman he secretly loved, he struggled to maintain a relaxed facade, smiling as he took in your every word. Inside, however, your heart was beating wildly, yearning to be the man you sought advice from. Your every gesture and laugh only intensified his desire to be by your side, as he battled to hide his emotions and waited for you to realize the truth behind his rehearsed words and gestures.

GETO SUGURU

"Ah, you deserve someone who treats you like the queen you are. And if he can't see that, then rest assured he's not worthy of all your effort. But you know, there's someone out there who has always known your worth..."

Suguru, with his captivating smile and persuasive skills, listened attentively to your romantic dilemma, calculating each word in his mind as he weaved his suggestions with subtle persuasion. He highlighted the flaws of the man in question but discreetly praised your qualities, seeking to show his own interest deliberately. Behind his serene expression, Geto calculated every move in the hope that you would see in him not just an advisor but a potential lover, eager for the moment when you would recognize his true worth and choose to share your world with him.

KENTO NANAMI

"My suggestion would be to approach the situation calmly and rationally. Communicate your feelings in a clear and direct manner. After all, communication is the key to any relationship. If he is worthy of you, that will be enough."

While Nanami Kento listened attentively to your venting, he offered practical and direct advice, demonstrating his usual calm and clarity. However, internally, he grappled with his own unexpressed feelings, hiding his deep emotions behind a serious and professional facade. Every word of comfort he offered you was a painful reminder of his own unrequited desires.

Despite the intense internal struggle, Nanami continued to counsel you, keeping silent about his own pain. He wondered if he would ever overcome the fear of ruining your friendship by expressing his own feelings, remaining trapped in a cycle of anguish and doubt.

CHOSO KAMO

"I... know what it's like to feel that way. I think... maybe he just needs a little push to realize how special you are. If I were him, I wouldn't hesitate for a second..."

Choso couldn't hide his emotions, his gaze reflecting internal anguish as he listened to your love story. While offering advice, he was emotionally honest, sharing his thoughts and revealing the weight of his unrequited feelings. Choso saw in the situation an opportunity to perhaps get closer to you and show what he truly felt, longing for a deeper connection and hoping that his honesty would touch your heart, as he prepared to face any challenge to be by your side.

TOJI FUSHIGURO

"You're wasting your time with that idiot. Men like him will only make you suffer. If this guy is too blind to see how amazing you are, then you're better off moving on. But, of course, if you prefer to keep deluding yourself, I'm not the one to stop you. Just don't come crying later when things don't work out."

Toji, with his impatient posture and piercing gaze, doesn't hesitate to launch biting criticisms about the man in question while you vent to him. However, internally, he grapples with his own inability to express his feelings, using his rudeness as a shield to hide his vulnerability. While his sharp tongue continues to push away those around him, Toji yearns for an opportunity to truly connect with you, but fear of failure and rejection keeps him trapped in his role as a solitary tough guy.

RYOMEN SUKUNA

"Ah, so you've come to me seeking advice about that fool? Hmph, he's just another insignificant worm, don't waste your time with someone like him. You know, I'm not one to flatter, but you, you're too good for that piece of shit."

Sukuna, with his ironic smile and malicious eyes, absorbs every word that comes out of your mouth, carefully choosing each piece of advice to weave his manipulation web. His enigmatic words, full of double meanings, cast doubt on the man in question while subtly suggesting that he himself would be a better option for you. He delights in the control he exerts over the situation, using both you and the man as pawns in his power game, relishing the feeling of power it gives him, determined to achieve his own ends at any cost.

Satoru Gojo

Gojo doesn't like leaving you home alone, not because he doesn't trust you but with the spike in crime he can't help but worry. He wanted to at least teach you the basics of self-defense, just in case. Unfortunately for you, he wasn't going easy. He had pinned you to the floor at least five times and he was a harsh critic. When the two of you finally took a water break, you could barely walk to grab your waterbottle.

"Come on, I've got you." He scoops you up into his arms, your body pressed against his toned chest.

Your face flushes when he sets you down, casually turning around to pick up his towel and wipe the slick sweat from his forehead. His back is covered in deep lines, muscles bulging when he stretches. You choke on your water, quickly wiping your mouth when he spins around.

"What? Like what you see?" He leans down, nose rubbing against yours. "Want to see it up close?"

Your breath hitches when he scoops you up again, hands planting on his strong shoulders. Your fingers trace the dents, lips pursed. A low chuckle vibrates his chest, your hand on his heart now. You knew he worked out, it's not like this is the first time you've seen him up close, it's just something about the way his sweat makes his body glisten that makes your heart race.

"You know you can see this any time, all you have to do is ask." He whispers in your ear, and you melt in his embrace.

Suguru Geto

Geto takes the longest showers. Your water bill is so high because he spends hours casually sitting in the tub with the water raining down on him, humming and brushing his hair. Sometimes you peek inside to make sure he hasn't drowned, only to end up gawking at his toned legs, rear, and bulky back. In his uniform, all of his strength is hidden- but when it's off he looks like a titan.

"Y/N, I know you're watching." He looks back with a teasing smile, "Come join me. The water's just fine, and I know you've been stressed."

You slip out of your clothes and hop in, giggling as he rubs soap on your skin and pecks your cheek. His hands massage your scalp when he washes your hair, a quiet song whispering from his lips. When you turn around to kiss him you stop, breath hitching when your eyes trail to his abs.

"Those are new." You mumble, cheeks warm.

"Hm, really? Maybe you just haven't been paying attention...what a shame."

You manage to convince him to take a shorter shower, drying off together before cuddling on the couch. Your head is buried in his neck, fingers tapping on his arms as they flex when he moves. You watch his muscles ripple, eyes widening as he laughs quietly.

"They're really not that impressive." He says casually, knowing damn well he's just being modest.

Ryomen Sukuna (True Form)

Four arms. Four big arms. You've seen him crush skulls with them, turning steel into pebbles, and you still can't believe they're around you right now. You try sitting still, not wanting to annoy your lord but your staring does. His stomach growls, tongue flicking out against your back and you squeal.

"Staring is rude, where are your manners, hm?" He tilts your chin up, a cocky smirk on his face when you mumble an apology. "Ask properly and I'll let you look."

"Kuna-"

"Now, now-" His fingers dig into your jaw, nails pricking your skin. "-Beg properly."

"Please, my lord." Damn those eyes and what they always manage to do to him. Of course you want to look, he is the great King of Curses, you should be fawning over him. "May I? Just this once?"

"I suppose." His chuckle is a low growl in his chest.

He lets you slide your fingers between his, grunting when you squeeze. Your grip isn't strong, it just wasn't what he expected. He watches you hold his hand up to your face, surprise flickering in his eyes when you nuzzle his knuckles. They're sharp, poking your cheek, but you don't mind. He's warmer than summer, light eyes smoldering when they meet yours.

"Someone's quite shameless today," He raises an eyebrow when you nod eagerly. "Is it that time of month?"

"What, no!" You pout when he smirks mischievously, "I just like being like this with you."

"Like what?"

"Close."

"Foolish." He grumbles, but the corners of his mouth twitch up.

Kamo Choso

He's so adorably oblivious to how handsome he is. When he catches you staring he asks if he has something on his face as he finishes cooking breakfast, shirtless in your kitchen and dark hair on his shoulders. You grin, walking over and squeezing his biceps. His eyebrows furrow and he flinches when your kiss his cheek. He's so easy to catch off guard, and he always gets so embarrassed when he is.

"It's too early for your teasing," he mumbles. He sets your plates down on the table, "You should eat before it gets cold."

"I'm already enjoying my meal." You tease, watching the muscles in his back move. Your cool hands make him shudder as they stroke his back, his face bright red when your hands move to his plump chest. He glares back at you, ears darkening to match his face.

He's a block of a man, wide in the best way. Even his thighs are muscular, peeking from his semi-baggy gray sweats. You laugh when he leans into your touch, kissing his nose and watching his lovemark bleed like it always does when he's flustered.

"You're playing with my body again." He hides his face in his hands, "Is it really that nice?"

"Very nice." You give his chest a few light taps, admiring them. "Guess Mahito had good taste."

Kento Nanami

Your husband always comes home tense and sore from sitting at his desk all day, so the least you can do is give him a massage. He's laid down under you, groaning as your skilled hands work magic against his muscles. Your face burns when his hazy eyes look up at you, a sheepish smile on his face. You work out a knot in the middle of his back, firm muscles meeting your palm as you press down.

"God, that's good..." He says in between quiet huffs.

"So I'm doing a good job?-"

"An amazing job, Honey." A lazy laugh leaves his lips when your hands reach his shoulders.

"Have these been giving you trouble again?" You lean down and kiss the nape of his neck, "Or have you been causing yourself trouble by overdoing it at the gym?"

"I've got to stay in shape, Darling."

"I like your current shape." Your hands add just enough pressure to massage the ache away, "I enjoy caring for it...and for you."

"I'm a lucky man." His body relaxes further as you continue easing away the tension.

FUSHIGURO TOJI

You're trying to work but your husband is being needy, hugging you from behind and burying his face in your hair. You sigh, squirming away but he pulls you back. You twist around ready to fuss but your mouth hangs open when his bare chest blocks your field of vision.

"Toji, put those away!" You squeal, face the same color as your ink pen. "I can't fool around right now!"

"Neither can I, I'm here to work out." He smirks when you sigh, "What? It's my office or whatever you call it too."

"Do you have to do it right..." Your sentence trails off as he starts doing push-ups, eyes stuck on those bulging arms, shoulders and pecs. "You're impossible."

"You like it, why else are you starin'?"

He has a point, you can't look away. He's just showing off now, switching to core workouts so you can watch his abs stretch and compress with his movements. You bite your lip while trying to return to your work but can't help but sneak glances at your bulky man. He strips down to his shorts, freeing his sculpted legs and you pinch the bridge of your nose.

"Ready to give in?" His voice is thick with confidence, because he knows you haven't made any progress on any of your tasks- all thanks to him.

Gojo Satoru = Fiancé

As an introvert who relies on the power of mind, I think you'll be fine having a loud extrovert as your partner; Gojo Satoru. INTP appreciates an open-minded partner who is willing to engage with them in intellectual conversations, challenges and debates, and Gojo is the one. INTP has a unique sense of humor that couldn't be understood by everyone, so with Gojo being witty, he'll find no problem in matching your vibe and continuing with your jokes even in serious situations, making the relationship even more enjoyable. Gojo is egocentric, so your wittiness would humble him everytime. As the king of curses, he sees human emotions as a weakness and burden so seeing a human who actually relies on their mind and neglect feelings intrigued him. Your unique and controversial thinking is also another hook for his interest. Your witty side completely swept him off his feet, you're kind of similar in this. Having a mocking and quirky kind of humor is kinda relatable for him. But at the same time he hates your resistance. INTPs worship independence and freedom, they completely oppose submission to someone else and don't accept forced rules. Let's not forget that Sukuna is an extrovert so extroverts that want to forcefully dominate introverts for perceiving them as shy individuals who are unable to defend themselves is a type that INTPs can't stand and that's how the tension / hate between you too was born.

ESFP:

Aoi Todo = Boyfriend

ESFP is a lively and affectionate partner you, totally match Todo energy. Your presence keeps him recharged, your energy and enthusiasm are infectious. Despite him being strong both physically and mentally he still needs your affection to function properly. INTP infuses excitement and passion in the relationship. Given that both of you and Todo are extroverts you thrive on social interactions and enjoy spending time together doing fun and spontaneous activities. You also have similar love languages. Both of you are also sensors so you have an awareness of each other's discomfort which brings a huge understanding between the two of you.

Geto Suguru = Rival

One thing that was able to make you consider Geto as your enemy; lack of emotions and empathy. ESFPs are highly emotional individuals they are expressive and very sympathetic towards others. Geto's ruthless side clashes with your nature, effortlessly creating a hurdle. His behaviors choices and mindset go against your principals and values leading to a significant conflict. You can connect with trustworthy people but with him there's no connection, you believe that empathetic individuals can't be trusted as they only care about their own desires without taking into account other people's well-being. On the other hand, Geto sees you as weakling and a burden on society for simply being an emotionally oriented.

Kamo Noritoshi = Source of comfort.

As someone who has dealt with a lot, lacking the families' warmth in his life, he always find himself indirectly dependent on you for some comfort. ESFP excels at expressing empathy through both words and actions Despite Noritoshi skills at hiding his emotions, you as a sensor you can sense his troubled spirit and provide for him a safe space by acknowledging and understanding his feelings without judgment and serve as a listener when he's ready to open up. Aside from comfort you also radiate a contagious positive energy that can break through the toughest walls. It makes ESFPs happy knowing that they had a positive impact on people around them.

I’m having issues with current state of Jujutsu Kaisen (Spoilers)

As of chapter 252, there’s no clear indication on how or what will bring Ryomen Sukuna closer to his demise. Will it be Yuji? Megumi? The Merger? Hell, maybe Gojo? I’m starting to worry a bit.

Despite having lowered CE, no domain expansion, and a looser hold on Megumi’s soul, he has another ace up his sleeve, making the possibility of his defeat rather grim and perhaps unlikely.

The current discourse is that we shouldn’t be shocked the acclaimed “strongest sorcerer in history” is actually strong and holding out against sorcerers who are objectively inexperienced (or rather many leagues behind) in comparison. Which is undeniably true.

Sukuna has already fought and defeated a generation of sorcerers in the past. And here he is yet again accomplishing the same feat in the modern era.

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s impressive that the conclusion remains to be ambiguous and not at all predictable. But while having an antagonist who justifiably outclasses the main characters through skill and ability makes for greater stakes, prolonging it only hinders the chance of a satisfying ending.

Gojo lost. Kashimo lost. Higuruma lost + Executioner Sword plan fell through. Megumi is out of commission. And now both Yuji and Yuta are in critical condition. Maki is showing promise and could inflict significant damage onto Sukuna, but I don’t expect her to land the finishing blow.

Like, I’m still trying to wrap my head around Sukuna “holding back” and not ever using his full power. After this fight with Maki, I’m sure Yuji will clash with Sukuna once more but what else is left? What is the full weight of Sukuna’s power and is it game over if they come in contact with it? It does feel like there’s so little hope for them to win.

And if it weren’t for the time-skip, people would have more gripes with what’s currently happening. ~Give or take.

It’s been Gege’s cushion for the many directions this battle can go. They very well could mention a new ability, strategy, etc. that work within the confines of the story, but you can only recycle that so many times before it becomes outright cumbersome.

The only thing that makes total sense is that they’re struggling. It’s the King of Curses after all. I don’t expect this to be an easy win, but all their efforts appear to be in vain.

So far at least.

There’s many who are holding out hope that Yuji gets an MC power up that significantly counters Sukuna. Some even hoping for Gojo’s revival.

I have 70% faith that Gege will give JJK an effective and somewhat satisfying resolution even if it involves major character deaths.

I still enjoy JJK despite my personal qualms, but I’m starting to think Gege intended for the antagonist to win from the jump. Sukuna is 1,000% living up to being an absolute calamity, mowing down characters left and right, all while relishing in battle.

For a while I’ve kind of wondered why I like Sukuna so much because he seems like someone I’d obviously hate, he loves power and values it so highly when I hate power (in it being defined as the ability to limit or expand or influence someone’s opportunity or choices) So maybe it’s just how he looks kind of thing? Or maybe it’s because so far in JJK it seems Sukuna is very lonely, he has no one he’s close to at all besides Uraume and he seems always bored or apathetic besides when he’s fighting. It’s weird idk why I like this man, I thinks it’s just the overall mystery and curiosity I have of his past and character.

Overall though I hope Gege shows Sukuna‘s past and it’s like Sukuna became so obsessed with power due to his environment. What I could imagine as one way of doing this that sort of ties the other part of JJK together (that other part being the criticisms of Jujutsu society) Is Sukuna having grown up a jj sorcerer but maybe not being taken serious or devalued constantly (as so far I’m pretty sure Sukuna has no clan he’s in like how Zenin, Gojo, and Kamo do). Maybe it’s Sukuna not having any support systems and being valued for only his power that leads him to value it so much but also a the same time hate jj sorcerers. Idk where Gege‘s going to take it, I just hope it doesn’t end like AOT cause- don’t even get me started on s4 of that show- but I just hope he doesn’t discard some older plot points for others (like the whole issues with the higher ups and their lack of care for kids in all of s1, beginning of s2 and even in jjk0 when they try to kill Yuta)

So far though I really like JJK and it has so much potential for an overall good message and theme but idk I thought the same about AOT so…💀

Megumi Fushiguro

Fushiguro once tried to pick up smoking in middle school. He gave up because he was irritated at how popular it became amongst his schoolmates when he did. He has a drawer full of un-replied confession letters. Fushiguro can’t sleep without a bolster (he gets touchy in his sleep). Fushiguro cuts his own hair. His go-to drink is strawberry milk. Fushiguro is so unused to smiling he practices in front of his room mirror before giving up. In reality, when he’s genuinely happy his eyelashes grow by 3 centimeters. On some days, Fushiguro admits that Itadori is the person he will always count on to save him.  

Nobara Kugisaki

Nobara likes to dress up in her room and pretend to be a cover girl or fashion model. She once found Inumaki-senpai attractive. But this was probably because he was quiet. Nobara actually got lost in Harajuku station before meeting Itadori and Fushiguro for the first time. Nobara only processes emotions by yelling. Nobara does not feel pain. Ever since arriving in Tokyo, she has been scouted for several television shows. They were all makeover specials. Nobara has a personal grudge against the mirror in Shibuya’s UNIQLO store. She has a private photo folder in her phone dedicated to snaps of city lights, skyscrapers and Maki.  

Inumaki Toge

Inumaki likes to visit convenience stores to look for new onigiri flavours. He assigns expletives to a different flavour every week, and enjoys swearing at others without them realizing. His uniform collar serves a dual purpose of concealment when he sticks his tongue out at people he doesn’t like. Inumaki likes flirting. Inumaki secretly stocks up Yuta-senpai’s favourite snacks just before he returns from missions. Inumaki longs to be kissed (on his beautiful, cursed mouth). He keeps a written diary of things people say to him and and things he would like to say back to them. Inumaki’s favourite verb is “susumu” (keep going). 

Panda

Panda is intrigued by meat, particularly fried chicken, even if they cannot eat it. Panda does not like cooked vegetables. Panda gets PR packages from apparel and household brands with panda designs; they do monthly unboxing videos for over a million subscribers. Panda’s favourite tv shows are Oprah and Japanese crime dramas. Panda reads religious texts on Shintoism in their free time. Panda’s third core is a koala. 

Maki Zenin

Maki once lost her glasses at a party and almost burned down an entire restaurant to look for it. Maki does not like spicy food because it makes her blush. Maki giggles at memes. She has timed crying breaks in the bathroom. Maki secretly names her cursed tools after her favourite celebrities. Maki always buys herself two birthday cake slices. 

Aoi Todo 

Todo drinks protein shakes more often than he would like to admit. He has never won Maki in an arm wrestling match. Todo’s IQ fluctuates between 80 and 155. He has only been part of Takada-chan’s fan club for 6 months. 80% of Todo’s memory is fabricated fantasy. Todo’s teary face has made both children and grown men cry, out of fear. His dream is to open a pancake house. 

Ijichi Kiyotaka

Despite his looks, Ijichi is skilled in Jujitsu and Aikido. He pre-orders extra sets of Itadori’s uniform every month. He has at least 3 Fast and Furious movie posters in his bedroom. He likes to daydream about being part of an A-list sorcerer team with Nanami, with Gojo as his personal chauffeur. Ijichi keeps a treat money jar for every time he feels slighted or overly stressed at work. To date, he has used the jar to visit 3 Michelin-star restaurants. 

Geto Suguru 

Geto developed a sweet tooth after enrolling in Jujutsu High. His first kiss was stolen by Gojo in a supply closet when they were both sixteen (the latter did it for fun). Geto was once dared to shave off all his hair and had to stifle a sob at the thought. Geto’s non-sorcerer disinfectant spray is coincidentally a rose-scented line of luxury cologne called Infinite Love. On a bad day, Geto finds himself indulging in dessert. 

Gojo Satoru

Mostly shameless, Gojo feels the most self-conscious with his eyes uncovered. Gojo gets turned on by an exquisite pair of sunglasses. Gojo doesn’t like drinking alcohol. Gojo once injected sugar into his blood, partly in jest, partly because he was curious. Gojo reads critical theory. Gojo uses SK-II facial treatment essence. Gojo likes reading fanfiction written about him. He keeps a scrapbook for deliberately ugly doodles of Jujutsu society’s higher ups. He is the owner of tabloid news twitter account @jujutsushits. Ryomen Sukuna

Sukuna has a personal list of ‘Top 10 Sukuna Badass Moments’ playing on loop in his head. He sings when Itadori is in the shower to spite him, but mostly because he likes the sound of his own voice. Sukuna has a bad memory, having been alive for more than a thousand years. Sukuna hates contemporary fashion, but has a fascination for Crocs. He prefers jazz to imperial court music. Sukuna delivers lengthy, oftentimes ultraviolent monologues to Itadori when he is bored. He thinks he would make a good university professor. Sukuna is still terrified of motorised vehicles.
