GREASE 1978
Men are rats- listen to me, they're fleas on rats; worse than that, they're amoebas on fleas on rats. I mean, they're too low for even the dogs to bite.

I was randomly reminiscing about using Kandyse McClure as a faceclaim for a character and was like, “I wonder what she’s up to?” and I went to IMDB and ended up down a rabbit hole.
I’ve seen Katee Sackoff’s awesome role in The Mandalorian. I know Michael Trucco is manifesting sexy Ned Flanders in Midnight Mass. What I did not know is that Kandyse McClure and Aaron Douglas have recurring roles in the final season of Motherland: Fort Salem. Grace Park is in a DRAMA and she’s not carrying a gun, it’s called A Million Little Things. James Callis is in what looks to be a campy romp of a show called Blood & Treasure. Edward James Olmos is still (of course) in Mayans M.C. which I haven’t caught up with in a while. I never actually watched Lucifer with Tricia Helfer (and a bunch of other hot humans) so I need to fix that. Mary McDonnell and Michael Trucco are going to be in a show based on and titled “The Fall of the House of Usher” on Netflix next year. Jamie Bamber looks to be doing British things and I don’t have access to them (legally.) Michael Hogan and Tricia Helfer did voices in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. Tamoh Penikett is in Netflix’s Devil in Ohio (note: I originally wasn’t going to watch it because that title is a Captain Obvious one, but now.)  Alessandro Juliani is voice acting and also was in one episode of Devil in Ohio. Nicki Clyne was recently in a micro-budget sci-fi movie called Lunamancer and I just need her to be around more. Rekha Sharma is in the third season of Transplant that came out this year. Leah Cairns was in the Netflix horror series Brand New Cherry Flavor that came out last year. Donnelly Rhodes has sadly passed away but he made a couple appearances in Arrowverse in 2016. And everyone loves Hot Dog, right? Well, unfortunately, Bodie Olmos doesn’t have anything on his IMDB since BSG but there is an unreleased short from 2018 called Dead Drop.
Anyway. That’s my Battlestar Galatica rabbit hole. Would Have kept going but I made myself stop with the cast on the front page of the show’s IMDB.

I’ve been seeing your posts lately, and as a fellow POI fan I must ask what are your top five favorite person of interest episodes? Thanks for reading this you rock!! 😉
1: The Devil You Know
I have Morior Invictus tattooed on my leg. It was the first tattoo I ever got and far from the best I have but I have zero regrets.
Tumblr media
If nothing else I hope I am remembered as a Team Elias fucker first and a human being second.
This episode is my absolute fave because it goes into more detail about Elias and Anthony's relationship and their loyalty to each other (parallel to what John and Finch, and Shaw and Root have going on). It's the first time we're really shown what Anthony is like outside of Hot Sarcastic Henchman, like the way he thinks and why he is how he is, and Elias being willing to risk his own life to save him after, for the majority of the show, being like "I'm better off alone", which is fucking poetic cinema honestly.
Plus Winston Duke and Jamie Hector are FANTASTIC, especially with the lieutenants talking to each other ("someday you might find yourself sitting in a chair that looks a hell of a lot like this one"), and Elias pleading with Dominic.
I really think those two were fucking WASTED in season four, they're both phenomenal actors in their own rights and they should've had better. I have, uh, a couple of fics in both my head and my WIP document about them. But we'll deal with those later
2: If/Then/Else
If/Then/Else is literally one of the best episodes, maybe THE best episode of television ever made. (It's kinda like my favourite v the best type situation, much like with The Thing v In The Mouth of Madness if that makes sense). It's got everything: action, time loops, love confessions, FUSCO
The other three are a little more difficult.
I really enjoy Number Crunch, Flesh and Blood, and Firewall in Season 1. In Season 2 my faves are God Mode, Relevance and Prisoner's Dilemma (Donnelly my love). Season 3 is Lady Killer, The Crossing and The Devil's Share. Season 4 is Pretenders, Asylum and YHWH. Season 5 is 6,741, The Day the World Went Away and Return 0 (with honourable mentions to Sotto Voce and Shotseeker because Elias, and QSO because Scott Adsit my beloved)
If you wanna pick three and ask me what I like about them go ahead but I'm struggling to pick between them haha

the fantastic fest 2023 website which will host the world premiere of oliver's upcoming film jackdaw has put up showtimes and a detailed synopsis of the film:
Jack Dawson is a man of focus, commitment, and sheer fucking will, but "Jackdaw" has fallen on tough times. Unexpectedly finding himself the sole caretaker of his younger brother after a family tragedy, he desperately needs some fast cash to finance their future. When he gets a call from an old contact named Silas to make an open-water pickup at a dinghy deep in Britain’s North Sea, he reluctantly accepts the job.
Equipped with a special skill set as a veteran of the British army and as a former motocross champion, Jackdaw resurrects his childhood dirt bike for a job that he anticipates will be a quick pickup and dropoff. When he finds out that he’s been double-crossed and that there is no cash, he’s enraged, but when he arrives home and finds his brother missing, he’s terrified.
Noted television director Jamie Childs’ feature debut is a swiftly paced, atmospheric crime thriller set in the dark streets of a depressed English Rust Belt town, where the high-tech turbines that dot the North Sea stand in teasing contrast to the rural farms, rundown factories, and dangerous young men that stand in his path. Reminiscent of some of the ‘70s finest, with leading man Oliver Jackson-Cohen channeling the stoic charisma of Steve McQueen in his prime, JACKDAW barrels forward, never taking its foot off the gas. (LORI DONNELLY)
according to the site, the film is showing once next friday and twice the following wednesday.
