I'm your (not so) friendly reminder that no matter how much you love the jews and yhe Jewish community or how much you support us, it doesn't mean you're one of us.

Celebrating Jewish holidays as a goy is not only cultural appropriation, but extremely disrespectful of our faith and belief.

Our holidays and commandments are for us, and goys are not allowed to practice them. This is why even people who are in the process of conversion aren't allowed to keep Shabbat fully until they finished the process.

Male sex - is being gay a sin?

I've already saw a couple of those videos on my fyp, and they annoy me a little, especially the comments.

A little preface:

As we know, the original texts of the Tanakh (old testament) were written in Hebrew.

When the Romans ruled over judea, Jesus started a new current in Judaism, which became Christianity after he died.

His followers spread their beliefs, and romans became Christiana as well.

So, one if the first thing they did was to translate the Tanakh to Latin, and then years later to other languages as they continued with the Crusades.

Now, what's bothers me the most about those posts is that they say the mistranslation caused the verse to be "a man shall not lay with another man" instead of "a man shall not lay with a boy" (meaning is was supposedly meant to be about pedophilia and not homosexuality).

The this, that in the original text there nothing about a boy.

"וְאֶ֨ת־זָכָ֔ר לֹ֥א תִשְׁכַּ֖ב מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אִשָּׁ֑ה תּוֹעֵבָ֖ה הִֽוא׃" {ויקרא, י"ח, כ"ב}

"And with a male you shall not lie the lyings of a woman; it is an abomination." {Translation - Sefaria, Rabbi Shraga Silvershtein}

Nothing about a boy, nothing about a teenager {נער - sometime interpret as a young male, even if he's 30}.

If we take the verse very literally, it means that a males aren't allowed to have Anal sex with eachother.

Tho, the interpretation that it's about pedophilia, didn't came first from Christians.

[יא] "ואיש" – להוציא את הקטן. "אשר ישכב את זכר" – אף הקטן במשמע.

In verse י"א, the text says "and a man" - meaning an adult male {13 and above}, then it keeps on telling all the laws of Incest. In verse כ"ב {"And with a male you shall not..."}, it. Says a male.

According to Sfara, Kdoshim, it means a male shall not lie with any other male - minor and adult as one.

So, in conclusion, there is definitely mistranslation from the original text to the old testament in the Christian's bible, but it's not explicit about Pedophilia.

Also the only canonically Jewish character in the Riordanverse is Lavinia Asimov.

One of the reasons I kinda stopped reblogin Jewish content on this blog, but this is important.

i am so unbelievably tired of nobody but jewish people caring about antisemitism

i know what people mean when they say “mourning a world they thought they lived in”

i thought i lived in a world where antisemitism was treated as terrible. where people cared about antisemitism as much as they cared about, say, sexism or homophobia or any other forms of racism

but they don’t. nobody fucking cares about the jews.

im so unbelievably tired of it. im tired of literal nazi propaganda and TEXTBOOK antisemitic caricatures, stereotypes, etc are regarded as normal. im tired of fully believing you could directly copy+ paste an excerpt from mein kampf on here and it would get hundreds or thousands of notes. im tired of being scared to post something like this because im scared ill lose my friends or people who follow me. i’m so scared to post this. i really really am.

Vampire poly 141 x reader where they don’t tell you they are vampires and you have no reason to suspect they are. Why would you? They are supernatural creatures, you’ve seen all four of them eat garlic bread, their reflections show in mirrors and refelctive surfaces.

But.

Sometimes they say and do such strange things- John talks about historical events almost as if they happened just a few days ago, and he was there. Simon’s storage room has antiques so old you have no idea how they have even survived, and he grumbles whenever you tell him he should sell them to see how much they’ll make. Kyle could navigate through the dark like it was second nature- like it wasn’t affecting him at all, and you’d always just wonder how. Johnny’s hands were always so cold to the touch, no matter tje weather or what he was wearing or where he was.

Still, all of those simply didn’t stick out that much to you. So you never suspected.

But still…

Lately, you’ve been waking up so very sore in the neck, weak and lethargic. Sore in the spot they all seemed to love kissing and nuzzling so much. You are so grateful for their help and care- they ply you with sweets fruits and oily fishes, leafy greens and nuts to help your body, and they hold you in their arms and let you rest as much as you need.

Though it still persists, and it gets especially worse when your period drops by. They are even more attentive, offering massages and forehead kisses and cuddles.

But now you wake up sore in the neck and thighs… as if they’ve been kept in one position for too long. At least you are miraculously very clean when you check, and you have four men spoiling you rotten.
