Just some more hc’s of a scenario I came up in my head!

Warnings: Short, Yandere tendencies, Platonic!!, obsession, the kids being upset. Spoilers for the beginning of the second book!!

The camp was under attack and Percy found himself, and his two friends arriving at the scene. He and the others all joined in on killing the metal beast that plagued the camp.

Percy was itching to see you again, Annebeth was also since she was always with you since she came to the camp and that summer she went with her father.

The camper’s returning had no clue of the changes in the camp. Not only from the new activity director, but from a change you had brought.

The first time Percy walked to his cabin to drop off his things, annabeth on her way to with Tyson following them, caused confusion.

A big white cabin with carvings of the same he saw in Olympus. It was beautiful. Flowers growing up the sides of it, statues placed around it and the gold accents. It was beautiful, like a new aphrodite cabin.

There was a crowd of campers surrounding the outside as two older campers stood on ladders to hang up the new flag.

“What’s happening?” Percy leaned over to his friend. She just shrugged, “I didn’t know there was anyone to add, maybe the lesser known have had children.”

Then chaos broke loose when the flag finally dropped. And the symbol made the campers gasp and rub their eyes to see if they actually saw it.

It was your symbol.

When they found you at the train grounds with some of the students that stayed there over the summer. They rushed around you and screamed for answers.

“Why is there a new cabin?” “You can’t have children!” “This isn’t far!”

Yeah yeah we all know how it goes down. The child screaming, and demanding answers. All they could do was watch you tap your foot and wait for them to quiet down like a mad mother. Once they all calmed down that decided to listen to your speak.

And everything was true. You had children and they are close to the age to coming to camp, even could come to camp now. And oh boy, they started to scream again.

Those poor children had no a clue how much they had going for them.

Some campers could wait to meet your child, and love them the way they love you. Become their protectors, surely they would be as comforting as you.

Some campers hated them. They didn’t need to met them, they wanted them gone. You had a whole camp of children to take care of but you had to go and have your own? That’s now how this should work, aren’t they enough for you? But they knew they couldn’t do much about it because once you got upset, the gods were angered.

And then, the other half. Didn’t really pick a side in it. They are willing to share, or not. What ever happened they didn’t really care since you’re still at camp.

Do you ever feel like Percy just can't Say No To Annabeth? Like has he ever realized that she isn't good for him? I mean I believe that Annabeth is definitely a Toxic partner and not a good Gf for percy and people say "Oh Percy would no what abuse is because he lived with Gabe" but that is what abuse looks like from an Adult. but Percy has never had a Gf so he would have nothing to compare Annabeth too, so he wouldn't know what a abusive/toxic relationship is, Cause an abusive relationship isn't all about how many bruises the victim has, it's about the control and Power the abuser has on the victim and tbh some of the parts in the book make it seem like Percy is in abusive and toxic relationship and the stuff Annabeth does or how she acts towards Percy and as a Character regardless just doesn't sit right with me and made me not like Percabeth at all

Personally, I believe Annabeth as a character devolves as the series progresses, and her worst character flaws are somehow never addressed. The worst is this sense of codependency she projects on Percy.

The Fandom, for some reason, has her put on a pedestal even though it's Percy who gets himself out of most trouble, who makes the most strategies, and takes the most efforts. Even Rick's demigod life updates say Percy scores higher in studies than Annabeth.

Yet for someone reason everyone degrades Percy while they worship Annabeth. Nothing ticks me off more. The only thing Annabeth has on Percy is her extensive knowledge and nothing else, yet every character behaves as if Percy would be nothing without Annabeth. Nothing nothing could be more wrong.

The Fandom is so eager to call out every character's flaws, yet Annabeth's are never addressed. The toxic and possessive way she acted throughout the Battle of Labyrinth towards Percy, treating him as if she owned him and her repulsive behavior towards Rachel, should have been Percy's greatest Red flag.

Not to mention Percy gets taken to Romans, his memories taken and altered by Hera left to fend off for himself and Annabeth shows no lick of understanding or supportiveness to Percy's troubles not just then but ever.

Not only that, she had the blatant audacity to criticize Percy for leaving her as if it were a choice on his part.

Annabeth literally spends the start of The Last Olympian in which Percy is dealing with the immense pressure of his looming death and the fate of the world being oh his shoulders and she is neither supportive nor understanding when he is reasonably panicking but also instead gets mad at him.

All in all, Annabeth spends the entirety of their relationship complaining, projecting unreal expectations on Percy, being controlling and toxically possessive.

I could rant all day about it, but essentially, Percy's first intimate connection with any woman other than his mother was with Annabeth.

Everyone knows Percy's deep deep seated self esteem issues, so in his mind Annabeth is too good for him, and he doesn't deserve her. Annabeth should be proving to Percy how awesome and great he is, how they both are equally deserving of each other instead of further worsening his self-esteem.

But Percy is so afraid of losing her that he goes by whatever she says. Rick himself literally writes how relaxed and better Percy feels with Rachel yet never mentions it ever again.

I agree that Annabeth was understandably terrified in Tartarus but by what right does she make Percy promise to not use a power he would obviously need for self defense, a power that just got them out alive from a Primordials clutches?

There's not one thing Annabeth has done that is truly selflessly for Percy. Yes she took a knife for him which is very good of her but honestly are you telling me anyone who has traveled with Percy for so long for whose sake Percy has frequently risked his own life wouldn't do the same?

Aside from that one action, Annabeth has never never done anything purely out of consideration of Percy's comfort , his trauma, and his insecurities.

She plays by fear as Percy says he has a healthy fear of her. There's no such thing as healthy fear. No healthy relationships should contain a hint of fear.

So yes Percy can't say no to her because he fears no one would love him if Annabeth doesn't, he never wants to lose her believing her to be the only person that would accept him despite all his flaws. And these delusions make him agree to everything Annabeth says. This is both wildly untrue and extremely toxic and unhealthy in a relationship.

Sure, it was a normal thing for you to argue with Octavian. Hell, it was. normal thing for everyone who’s sane to do. This scrawny boy was just… a piece of shit. Yeah. And the worst part? You’re related. He’s one of the “legacies”, whatever that is. That stupid roman dipshit.

And today was no different. You two were arguing about some trivial shit, as always, but things escalated quickly. Soon you two were sparring (how was a mystery, since you didn’t even know that thing knew how to hold a sword) and it was quite fun.

You see, you got to camp Half-Blood when you were just seven. Since then you’ve been trained all year, since you didn’t have any other family - besides the godly side of it, duh - and Octavian was… well, Octavian. You were much better than him.

The whole problem is that Octavian likes to play dirty. So eventually he makes you trip and fall and he leaves gashes around your arms and legs. But with imperial gold it was sort of painful.

Till one of those times came again, but this time he didn’t leave a gash or a scratch. He stabbed you right in your stomach.

“Oh, gods!” He said, with fake concern. “I’m so sorry, cousin! My bad. I should go looking for your boyfriend, right? But… i didn’t see nothing. Bye!” The blond said with a devilish grin and left.

You knew you needed help. You were applying pressure to the wound, trying to use your healing powers to at least slow down the bleeding.

You tried to get up to look for help, but it was almost impossible. Even with that, you had to. ‘Oh, come on,’ you thought, ‘i’ve faced Kronos, Gaea and Annabeth mad at me. I’m not gonna die for a stupid legacy.’

And that’s exactly what made you move your body towards the via principalis, where you knew someone was gonna help you.

When you got there, the first person you saw was - thanks the gods -, Reyna. When the praetor looked at you, her face was horrified.

“y/n? What-“ She began, but you cut her off.

“I-i’ll explain later. Just… medical cabin. Please.” You begged, your words barely above a whisper.

Reyna nodded and helped you lean on her for support, as she walked you towards the medical cabin. You didn’t know the name of the boy who was currently there, but he looked as horrified as Reyna.

“Oh gods. Oh, my gods.” The boy said and you smiled, trying to fight back the urge to pass out.

“Ha, thanks. I thought it was bad.” You half joked as Reyna and the unkown boy put you on a vacant stretcher. When you were laid down, you looked up at Reyna with pleading eyes. “Bring Jason here, please?”

“Of course. I’ll go find him. The brunette said and left the medical cabin.

“Ok. uh… care to tell what happened with you?” The boy asked and you turned your gaze back to him.

“Got stabbed by imperial gold. What’s your name?” She asked, but the look in the boy’s face didn’t seemed to register the question.

“My gods… i’ll do my best to help you.” He said and grabbed a bottle of nectar, pouring it to your mouth. “Ok, i need to-“

Before he could finish, a certain blonde boy barges past the doors, looking around the medical cabin, desperately trying to find you.

When his gaze fell into you, he rushed to your side, grabbing your hand. His eyes were glossy behind his glasses and she knew he already wanted to cry.

“Y/n, what…? What happened? Are you okay? Who did this?” He asked, and she tried to laugh, but the pain was becoming unbearable. You couldn’t even talk anymore, as the only thing that came out of your mouth was a whiny breath. “It’s okay, i’m here with you, hm? I won’t leave.”

He kissed your forehead and you squeezed his hand softly just before you felt a tear fall in your cheek. That was the last thing you heard or saw before passing out.

Will had cried his eyes out when he saw her there. Nico had to comfort him as his pupils leaked salty water. Lester/Apollo was back from his quest with Meg, and he also came to visit his daughter. The man was very… emotional, let’s say that.

But on the third day you were finally beginning to wake up. Of course, Jason was there.

“Hey, honey… you’re back, hm?” He asked, caressing you hair as you smiled, trying to reassure him. It still hurt as hell, but it could be worse. You could be dead.

“Hey…” She mumbled, her voice a little smudgy. “How long was it out?”

“A few days. But you’re back now, that’s what matters the most.” He said as he gave you a soft kiss on the lips. It was no tongue, just affection. He was showing you he was there for you.

“I feel fine. Like, not fine, but definitely better.” She said, as she pulled away from him.

“Yeah, i imagined. But, baby, i need you to tell me something.” Jason said, still holding your hand softly.

You nodded, waiting for him to elaborate.

“Who did this to you?” He asked, and you felt him squeezing your hand tighter. His voice was also harsher, as if he was restraining himself from killing someone.

“It was… it was Octavian.” She said, in a whisper-like tone. His face hardened immediately as he got up and went to the boy that was standing at the door.

“I need you to call Reyna and Frank. Tell them it’s an emergency.” He said and the boy quickly left.

Jason rushed back to your side. “I swear i’m gonna kill that son of a bitch.” He muttered.

When you were about to answer, Reyna and Frank rushed past the door, both looking worried. Behind Frank, there were a few other people - Will, Nico, Hazel, Annabeth, Piper, Leo and Percy -, all looking worried.

“You’re alive!” Will shouted and rushed to your side, tears welling up his eyes again.

“What, you thought that a little stab was going to kill me? Please.” She scoffed and Will laughed.

“So, who did this?” Reyna asked, also going to your side and stroking your shoulder softly.

“The most stupid, idiotic, son of a bitch augur that we ever had.” Jason said through gritted teeth.

“Octavian did that? I knew he was annoying, but at this level?” Percy asked, his face contorted in a mix of anger and disbelief.

“Mhm. We were sparring but… he likes to play dirty, i guess.”

“I’m gonna murder him.” Will groaned.

“Get in line.” Jason, Percy and Nico said at the same time.

You chuckled a bit, even if it hurt. Cause you knew, with that family right there, everything was gonna be fine.

• After all the things that happened he just wanted Annabeth to be safe, and the memory of Thalia to be forever in their hearts

• After the tour you got to him and you two talked across the strawberry field

• You were one of the oldest at the camp at the time, and also the sword fighting teacher at camp

We got into the woods as i saw Luke and Percy

"They're bad parents, Percy. And they've gotten away with it for far too long" luke said "No...This isn't you...This is Kronos...He got to you" Percy spoke making my blood drain

"A golden age. That's what they called it when he ruled. We're gonna help Kronos bring the Golden Age back. Stealing the bolt and the helm was easy. For what comes next... we're gonna need all the help we can get" He spoke again Annabeth looked betrayed holding her dagger

Luke and Percy started sword fighting again "Our parents aren't perfect, but they're trying their best...

I met your dad" Percy bit his lip as they stopped sword fighting "But he..." he stopped as Luke grunt in frustration before going back to fighting Percy "You did get better" luke smirked swords starting to clash again "What" i whispered the betrayal finally sinking in "Last chance" luke said when Percy sliced Luke with his sword "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." Percy said shyly not actually meaning to hit him but that didn't matter because a second later Luke shot back

Annabeth pulled me into the boys view making them turn to us

Luke's eyes widen seeing me as tears slipped down my cheek "Y/n?" He stuttered "How could you" i ran up to him pushing him back "Y/n you weren't supposed to hear any of this" He smiled nervously "We're you ever going to tell me" i grabbed Percy's swords placing the end of it towards his neck as he gulped "We were a family Luke...You promised" tears fell from my face as i looked toward Annabeth before turning back to him raising the sword getting ready to kill him when he rolled out of the way getting up and running to the portal "I'm sorry baby" he said jump through it

i fell to my knees crying

Minutes later i looked up towards where luke jumped "I'm going to kill him" i whispered angrily as Percy looked at me in terroir

He only was looking at me like that cause he's never seen me so mad before

You weren't from this world well......technically you are you were from a part of the world everyone thought was made up just another part of the human imagination......Wonderland . Wonderland was very.....disconnected from actual sane people or large bustling cities like New York. Your mother was probably one of the subjects of the queen of hearts just kinda surviving. Your father isn't exactly normal either he was also never around. Honestly as much as you love your mother it was kinda hard to imagine a God falling for her or really a God falling for anyone in Wonderland because while some of the inhabitants of Wonderland is more sane then others even the more sane ones start to go insane eventually.

Which is why when you were 13 you ran away from home. Although you had no clue where to go or what to do now you had left Wonderland. You're clothes and mismatched socks probably also made you stand out to by standers because in real life on Earth the other humans weren't used to seeing people dress in bright colors and patterns unless celebrating. After a few days of wandering aimlessly you ran into help or rather help ran into you.

You were desperately scrounging around for food thinking maybe it wasn't such a good idea to leave home when you felt someone run smack into you causing you both to tumble towards the ground. "Oh my pan! I'm so sorry." A male voice said. He had ...goat horns? Ehh not the weirdest thing you've ever seen. "Are those horns really or .....?" You asked. "They're real. Oh I'm Grover. " Grover replied. You weren't sure what to say or do and that's how you met Grover. After about a week of traveling with Grover is when you met Luke, Thalia and Annabeth.

" Hey Grover I'm going to find something to eat for myself. " You replied. " Ok just don't go far I'll finish setting up camp." Grover said. You did in fact wander to far when you stumbled upon a bush full of berries and you were about to eat some when you heard a voice tell you to wait. "Wait, don't eat those! those are holly berries they are poisonous!" A young female voice exclaimed. You looked around for the source of the voice. You spotted a young girl no older than 7 standing between some trees you could make out 2 more figures behind her one another female and the other male. You backed away your left hand reaching for a dagger in your pocket you swear wasn't there a moment ago while you're right hand still held the berries.

" Who are you why should I trust you?" You questioned. You got a closer look at them the seven year old girl had grey eyes , black hair and brown skin, the other gir who looked about a year younger than you so 12 had choppy short black hair , blue eyes and is white. She pushed the younger seven year old behind her. " Thalia I can protect myself!" The seven year old exclaimed. While the two girls were arguing you managed to sneak away not noticing the male following you.

" Grover!" You exclaimed finally making it back to the very stressed looking satyr. Grover rushed over to you. " Y/n there you are! You were gone for an hour I was worried I was calling your name but no reply and I didn't want to leave the fire unattended. Your not hurt are you?" Grover asked like a panicked father looking over you to make sure you didn't have any new injuries. " Hey Grover I'm ok. I'm ok." You replied. " Pan Y/n you had me so worried!" Grover exclaimed. "LUKE!" The older female voice Thalia called out causing You and Grover to look in the direction of Thalia's voice and there stood the male that had been with the 2 younger females.

Now learning his name is Luke. You started to reach for your dagger once again.

xander had an obsession with whales and wanted his walls filled with them. nash, grayson, and jamie, got xander out of his room, and painted little whales on his walls (they're all great painters bc yk hawthornes)

they all had a shared insta account when xander was like 12 where they would post random shit (gray hated it but liked the idea of having smth special with his three brothers)

for nash's 10th birthday (i believe that means xander was like 3) the three younger brothers went out alone and bought him a new cowboy hat and cowboy boots.

they all go shopping with for the gfs together.

they'll sit together and ask each other relationship advice.

when jamie was younger, he had an obsession with helicopters, so nash, grayson, and xander got tobias to get someone to give him a helicopter ride.

they had sleepovers at least once a week when they were children

they didn't really have many real friends (people wanted to use them for their money) so at school they would just sit together at lunch (obviously nash wasn't really a part of if cause he's older)

skye usually forgot about their birthdays so they would all organize their own birthday parties.

xander used to loveee it when jamie gray and nash took turns reading the percy jackson series (like jamie as grover, gray as annabeth, nash as percy)

sometimes people pick at xander cause he's a sweet innocent little cinnamon bun who's kinda easy to bully so nash, grayson and jamie always defend him and make him regret everything he's ever said to their sweet little brother (they once stalked this guy. followed him home, sent him little threats. tobias got really mad and told them that they couldn't do that again)

they're always commenting on each others insta posts (and jamie's thirst traps)

they love going on road trips together (just the four of them). they do at least one road trip a year alone. the tradition started as soon as nash learned to drive.

xander organizes all of their closets (he's an organized king) or makes them little gadgets/grayson is always cooking everyone meals/jamie leaves little puzzles with gifts inside for them to find/nash is literally always teaching them new things

nash used to love to tuck them all in when they were all children.

sometimes they'd watch movies together and they'd all fall asleep except for nash. he'd carry them all up to their rooms. sometimes he also carried them all to his own room, and they'd have a sleepover.

they all like reading (some more that others) and sometimes they all huddle up in xander's room (cause he made this weird comfy revolutionary sofa thing that's really comfortable) and read.

they all gush about their girlfriends to each other. like they'll sit there and be like "omg you should've seen avery today, i think i fell even more in love with her" and then nash will go like "omg same libby made me cake today"

nash wears speedos to the beach and xander thought it was funny so he dared them all to do it too the next time they went to the beach. their gfs were traumatized and were considering breaking up with them. (@catapparently came up with this one)

xander published the book he mentioned writing at the beginning of tbh and it sold like crazy (i don't remember what it was called). xander saw how successful it was and made a book for nash and jamie too.

they love making candy salads and eating them in front of the tv while watching shows (grayson secretly loves candy smmm).

they were all on the cover of vogue (all individually, and once or twice all together)

grayson makes painting for all of them to put in their rooms.

grayson sometimes composes piano pieces for xander, jamie, and nash's birthdays.

jamie used to tear up when his brothers asked him to hang out with them bc tobias convinced him he wasn't good enough (fuck you tobias)

xander used to love to have tea parties when he was like 5, and he'd force everyone to come (he had a pink tea set).

Hey so I just came up with this new au in my head.

So basically what happens is that for whatever reason the other Olympians who have demigod children, that being Ares, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, and Hermes all somehow managed to piss off Zeus so much that he decides to send them to live and camp with their children. Just like Dionysus.

(or he was already mad at them for something and Hera put the idea in his head. Since she likes none of them.)

So one early morning Chiron calls all the camp counselors into the big house to inform them of this. Needless to say none of them are happy.

Especially not Luke who is the de facto parent of these kids.

At first all the gods kindness stay in the big house complaining about their situation to Dionysus. But they soon tired of that, so they actually turned their attention to their children.... For entertainment.

Ares keeps starting fights between the campers. Apollo forces of them to listen to his poems & concerts, even though it's already midnight. Hephaestus criticizes and disproves of any of the metal work being done especially if it's done by his own children. Aphrodite keeps causing drama with crushes that the campers have, especially of her own children for her own entertainment. Athena criticizes every little thing that they do, ect, ect.

This makes Luke livid especially when he sees poor annabeth crying because of how many times Athena has criticized her or disproved her on the smallest things.

He also hates Hermes as he spends his time either ignoring his kids existence or telling them to steal something from one of the other gods in order to get his favor, which given the other gods tempers, it doesn't end well. Hermes also only talks to Luke occasionally trying to pretend like he isn't a horrible father. He even tries to bring up May but Luke shuts him down almost immediately.

The misery doesn't last long thankfully as for whatever reason Zeus decided his family hadn't been punished enough, and turns them into children. Children who are younger than their camp counselors of their cabin.... You can see where I'm going with this.

Some like Charlie or Katie simply ignore Hephaestus and Demeter's existence for the most part.

Clarisse is actually too scared to do anything to her father at first, for fear of the consequences later.

But Luke, Lee, Owen (the camp counselor before annabeth I made up in my head after reading some other fanfiction), & Seilena, immediately start bullying their parents as much as possible, in a passive aggressive way.

OK SO FIRST OF ALL, I LOVE THIS.

AND IT ALSO GAVE ME THOUGHTS OF A SEPARATE AU. But first off, holy heck so many more demigods would join Luke in this AU like???? Imagine all the kids meeting their parents and realizing what sort of assholes they are. Luke's "fall" to Kronos gets sped up SO MUCH????? At the end of TLT half the camp just dips all together at once, INCLUDING Annabeth who dragged Percy along. Ngl Hermes will have the worst time, especially with how crowded cabin eleven is. Luke needing to steal supplies for Percy in TLT means the campers don't get them as handouts. So Hermes better be good at locating them yourself! Aww did Aphrodite lose something? Sorry, no one saw it. Sorry you can't borrow it either- I just it too! Camp just slowly realizing how shitty their parents are- honestly wouldn't be surprised if, depending on how long they'll stay like that, end up tragically dead during Capture the Flag. Who needs dessert anyway, right Luke?

BUT ALSO IMAGINE THIS AU BUT THE GODS HAVING AMNESIA.

Like- Zeus decides leaving them with their memories would only cause issues since they'd obviously want to get back to godhood. And to him that would just be a lot of trouble, so instead he just erases their memories completely and throws them into camp. Let them rot there for a while, enjoy mortal life a bit.

Since they have no idea who they are, or what even their names are when they get to Camp they are obviously brought to the big house. Dionysus knows that those are the gods turned mortal, unfortunately though he's not allowed to reveal anything by order of Zeus. Not that he really would have, this is just too good.

With no knowledge of who these kids are, Chiron sees himself forced to improvise and calls up Luke and Owen to take them to cabin eleven until they are claimed. Luke is also the one who gives them names until they figure out their identities. Despite the arrival of 7 (apparent) demigods with 0 memory ofcourse caused a ruckus. But since no one knows that they are gods stuff settles down a bit after a while, they assume it was some freak accident or a monster attack. Meanwhile Luke and Owen are having their hands full taking care of these 7 kids. At this point Luke's already the unofficial official successor for counselor after Owen so he's reasonably involved.

Sleeping arrangements, getting them supplies, activities- it all needs to be organized for them and they need to be shown the robes. Since no one knows that they are actual gods they get treated like any other normal camper. And since there are no gods to claim them (SINCE THEY ARE THOSE GODS) they stay in eleven for practically their entire stay in CHB. Imagine them bonding with the other unclaimed kids over being "unimportant" to their parents. Imagine Luke comforting them about how shitty "the gods" are. Athena getting to bond with Annabeth over battle strategy. Ares getting to be beaten up by Clarisse during Capture the Flag. Demeter getting to plant with Katie. Apollo getting to go to archery classes with Chiron. And so on and so forth.

And they end up fully integrated into camp at some point! They live and think like any other demigod and everyone treats them like that. Luke looks after them, they have friends from other cabins and they sing along at the campfire.

They play games and train and angst over their "neglectful godly parent" and "amnesia". Everything seems to be going well, they are happy. The people around them are happy. The gods are happy. And then Zeus decides the punishment is enough, gives the gods their powers back and just fucks everything up. Because that does not go well. Zeus being Zeus didn't really check of course what they were doing before deciding to end the punishment or deigned to think about hos stressful it most be to not only suddenly become a got, but also get millennia of memories back in an instant. The gods were at the sing-along having a good time. Apollo was jamming out with the Apollo cabin leading the song. Hermes was reading to drop a water balloon as a prank on Aphrodite together with the Stolls. Heaphestus was happily basking in the warmth.

The fact that no true form of the gods was shown was dumb luck. One minute everything is fine, the next they are on the ground screaming as their divinity and memories are pressed into bodies too small to fit them- being stretched and forced to become what they once were. Everyone is scarred, kids are crying, and the Stolls ran to hide behind Luke when Hermes goes down alongside Annabeth clutching his leg. Zeus wanted them with him, so they were pretty much immediately ported to Olympus as soon as they were gods again. And FUCK is shit different now, 'cause now they are attached. Yes, they remember who they are now, but the memories of camp weren't erased! They spent years there. Years of living and laughing with their children. Years of being one of them.

And stuff is just so weird now like?????? All the anger with Zeus aside- they just, can't really view them as their "kids" now???? They feel more like- equals to them now. As weird as it is. Playmates, friends. Hell they just spent years with LUKE as their main caretaker! He was a better "Dad" than Zeus ever was! They still feel like they gotta listen to him 'cause he's counselor! Someone get Hermes some therapy for that mental dissonance of seeing his son as a parental figure.

Also, someone get them help for all the guilt. Because holy SHIT do they regret everything now. All the neglect, all the hurt, all the abuse. Because the gods get it now. They understand what it is like to be a child of them and live in the system they created. They understand what being a demigod means. They're sorry.

They want to be better.

And it isn't easy- god it couldn't be easy, but they somehow, someway get Zeus to allow them to visit camp freely. To support their kids.

And the gods swear to do better on the Styx, are excited to finally be real parents even.

Only to find camp terrified of them when they appear. The same kids treating them like friends and siblings cower, hide behind older kids and avoid their gaze when looking at them. Because they are gods. And they are cruel. Their children know that better than anyone.

My thoughts on PJO episode 3: part 2

Part one:

We have no food so I’m back

-Having Alecto outside the Garden was such a clever way of adding intensity to the scene and answers the question of like why didn’t they just leave?

-I loved the changed to them knowing who Medusa is right away. It fits the characters and the vibe of the story so much better

-MEDUSA Omgs

-She was perfect. Her outfit and voice and presence was just absolutely intimidating while also almost nurturing? I was confused as where I should trust her or not, which is the point.

-the way they changed her story was astonishing and all the better for it. Her devotion to Athena. The parallel to Annabeth and how they both worshiped a god who has never recognized them (besides the cap). Medusa’s blind faith and her hatred towards Poseidon after he used her.

-“I’m a survivor” 😘👌🏻 perfect delivery

-Medusa calling Poseidon a monster and it reminding Percy of what his mother said.

-HIM TRUSTING MEDUSA BECAUSE OF HIS MOTHER

-The parallels between Medusa and Sally. The unity Medusa believes they share.

-“I don’t think she’s like that” The only one who can speak about Annabeth like that is HIM

-The INSTANT Medusa mentions killing Percy’s friends he is out of there. Like most people have pointed out: a great nod to his fatal flaw of loyalty.

-The labyrinth was so freaking cool guys. Like wtf. That was amazing. I kept picturing the scene from the movie and it blew that out of the water (even tho that’s my favorite scene from the movie. I mean come on, the iconic iPod reflection? Shall never be forgotten) But the invisibility cap was really cool too

-Grover flying of into the distance, screaming his head off, and Percy and Annabeth just being like “whelp, new plan”

-THEM WORKING TOGETHER

-Annabeth watching Percy kill Alecto. Again, wasn’t sure exactly what she was feeling when I first watched it but looking back I think she’s finally realizing like, oh, this boy is more capable then I thought. Maybe he can be useful. Maybe he can do this. Maybe I have a crush on- wait no not possible. Eww.

-Them finally reconciling after Grover broke.

-Oh and I love that they made the uncle Ferdinand a more sad, meaningful moment. I mean, that part in the movie was funny, but that wouldn’t have fit the vibe at all and I think it really added to Grover’s character. I wanted to hug him.

-Leah’s expression after Percy says he picked her cause they could never be friends. She was hurt and it broke me.

-THOSE TWO ARE GOING TO FALL IN LOVE

-Percy not realizing Annabeth’s hat is so important. Then immediately giving it back.

-“I am impertinent” This boy is Percy incarnate.

I’m sooooo excited for next episode!! I think it’s going to be one of the best yet. This episode was perfect in its changes and implications. It was a new take on what we’ve read and seen before and even tho some people are mad about it, you have to realize that they have to keep it new. They have to adjust and change and ADAPT! I knew what was going to happen but yet I didn’t and it kept it interesting to me. It was a job well done. I’m sorry (I’m actually not sorry), but I still refuse to believe that Luke’s fatal flaw was ‘excessive wrath'.

What? You’re going to tell me that him seeing the gods for what they are , tyrants that will never change without being forced to, was him over reacting? That him being angry at the gods for all of the suffering that they inflicted on the demigods, was him going over board? That him being angry at his father for leaving him and his mother alone, is just him being immature?

I don’t think so.

Just because all of the other Demigods had become desensitized to what was really going on, or had been trained to believe that they should never go against their godly parents just because they’re their parents, doesn’t automatically mean that Luke was in the wrong. It also doesn’t mean that his anger or wrath was excessive.

Now, what Kronos wanted Luke to do and what he used his body to do, was excessive wrath. But, for that to be Luke’s fatal flaw, he would need to be a wrathful person to his core. Luke is not that. To his core he is a boy who just wants to protect his friends and family the best he can. His main "mistake" was seeing the world for what it really is, seeing the gods for who they really are (that along with his fate, and him being manipulated by one of the most sinister entities on the planet).

Now if you want to talk about someone who show’s signs of excessive wrath? I would point you over to our main protagonist, Mr. Percy Jackson himself. Now with his actual fatal flaw of excessive loyalty, that has also lead to him taking some actions that would seem excessive. Must I remind everyone that he literally made the goddess of Misery choke on her own poison to save Annabeth and then kept going because he was starting to have fun with it? Starting to have fun making her suffer? Having fun getting his revenge for all of the Misery she had caused him and others?

… yeah, I truly believe that the main reason they labeled Luke’s fatal flaw as "excessive wrath" is only because, in the eyes of the gods, any anger towards them is excessive. Because any act of rebellion makes them feel threatened and thus that person is seen as a "bad person". They feel as if no one should be mad at them simply because they’re the gods so obviously everything they do is right and just, even if it most definitely is not.

You sat on your bed, one thing in your mind; Percy Jackson. He was stunning, and gorgeous, he radiated confidence, and his aura had such a golden glow to it. You wanted him, but you knew he would never be yours.

Though you felt so intertwined with him, he'd never feel the same. You were only friends. He had no interest in you. You were one of his friends, that's all you were ever going to be to him. Being a child of the god of requited love didn't seem to be playing in your favor.

You'd think that Anteros being your father, would mean that the crushes you had on people would be returned, but no. That was not the case.

Percy was infatuated with his girlfriend Annabeth Chase. She was perfect. A daughter of Athena, long curly blonde hair, striking silver eyes, perfect complexion, she radiated a confidence you didn't have. And her energy just always seemed to bounce of his. You weren't bitter, you were just a little upset. You were happy for her, but you also wanted a love like that. But you couldn't have Percy, and you could respect that.

Leo worked silently in the bunker, the bow and arrows he had been crafting seemed to glow. It looked perfect, perfect for you. Leo had been trying to get your attention for weeks, but you had been in a slump. He wasn't sure why, but he knew it had something to do with Percy.

He was jealous of percy no he was worried about you, and he wanted you to feel better. He didn't have feelings for you, right? You were his best friend, he just wanted you to be okay.

He found himself thinking of you a lot, the look you had on your face when concentrating, the way your eyes gleamed when you were happy, the way he felt when you were around, all warm and fuzzy inside. The first time these feelings for you arose, his cheeks flamed. No, literally they flamed with fire.

He just shook his head, at the thought. He did like you, he couldn't keep denying that. But he didn't think you liked him. He knew you didn't like him. If you did you'd pay more attention to him, and not focus so much of your energy on Percy. His fingertips tingled at the thought, if he wasn't careful he was gonna, burn something with his jealousy. There he said it, he's jealous. And kind of heartbroken. The one he loves, loves another. Y/n's is infatuated with a guy who won't even look at him that way, he wouldn't take extra time out of his day to make sure he was okay, he wouldnt spend hours crafting something for him just to see a smile on his face.

He just wondered why you couldn't see that he liked you, why wouldnt you take your eyes off Percy for two seconds to see whats been here for you the whole time. The boy who so just wants to make you happy, the boy who gets life out of seeing you smile. He's been here all along.

Regardless of the pain he felt from trying he also wouldn't let you suffer. It hurt him to see you hurt. His heart broke the time he saw you crying over Percy, you didn't tell him why, but he knew. You didn't have to tell him, he knew you were coming to terms with the fact you had to get over him, but he also knew it wasn't easy.

He found you helping the younger campers with archery the next day. You were standing off to the side as you gave instructions moving to help them with the hold and teaching them how to aim. He admired that about you, the way you were patient with the younger campers, and didn't tell them they sucked. You didn't get mad at them, you just kept helping them, explaining there mistakes and how to correct them. Gods you were perfect

He went up to you, tapping your shoulder when you finally had a moment. "I um made this for you, its customized exactly for you and will feel better than your last bow. Which in turn will help you in combat-" you smiled at him a blush rising to your cheeks. 'Oh gods was he always this kind' you thought to yourself. He handed the bow to you, your hands touching causing a rush of heat to dance along your skin. A blush covering you as butterflies danced in your stomach.

What did this mean, you hadn't felt that before. Sure you had a crush on Percy, but he didn't make you feel like that. You just got blushy and giggly around Percy. But with Leo, gods there was so much more to it. You suddenly couldn't remember what was so great about Percy, your eyes took in the boy before you. Everything about him seeming to make your mind go dumb.

You tried to mumble out a 'thank you', but it came out barely above a whisper. The words seeming to fall apart as they left your mouth. He seemed to know what you were saying though, and he nodded. You didn't understand why you felt like mush around him, you had never been like that around him, let alone like that in general. Like a spell had been put on you, or taken off of you. You couldn't tell whether this felt like you had a love spell put on you, or if it felt like you were finally seeing Leo clearly for the first time. All you knew is you felt safe, and happy. His presence was lighting you up in the best way.

"you gonna test out that bow now, or continue to stare at me?" You snapped out of your thoughts not even realizing you zoned out. "Yeah, I am" you grabbed his hand pulling him towards one of the targets that wasn't being used. He stood next to you, as you steadied yourself concentrating on the target. The bow felt better than what you usually used, even the arrows felt better everything was perfectly balanced. And when you took the shot it even worked more efficiently than your old one had.

"Thank you Leo! Genuinely I love it!" You turned towards him setting the bow down to wrap your arms around the boys waist. Leo immediately hugging you back, "you're welcome mi amore" your heart did flips at the nickname, your cheeks turning a deep hue of red. When you pulled away, you picked up the bow and arrows walking over to the target to take the other out of it. Then you made your way back to Leo, "OH! I haven't even shown you the best part!" He grabbed the bow from you, as he moved the arrows to one side of the bow he seemed to decompress the bow and arrows into what looked to be a pin. He passed it back to you, "to get into full bow form all you have to do is tap it three times! Now it won't magically return to you like riptide or Ivlivs, but I still think this is really cool." You smiled at the boy in front of you.

"it's awesome, and so much better than any magic weapon" you pulled the boy towards you in another hug. Catching him off guard and you both almost toppled over before stabilizing yourselves. "Sorry, I just got excited." Leo's cheeks flamed at this, "No, No! It's okay, I like when you hug me" you smiled at him, your heart doing flips. "How about we go get some lunch fire boy" he nodded while smiling at you.

Part of you wished you'd realized your feelings sooner, but it was alright that you hadn't. Sure emotions were tiring and this definitely exhausted you having to process it all, that just gave you an excuse to fall asleep on Leo. Just like you were right now, his back pressed up against a tree as your head rested on his lap. His fingers combing through your hair as he told you about his day. He hadn't noticed you fell asleep, until he asked you a question and was met by your snores.

Think it'd be a nice moment of Annabeth both being mad at Percy but also worried and self conscious that she'll look ugly but Percy and Piper keeps reassuring it her whilst also apologising a lot for him messing up. Hope u enjoy the idea!"

When I said saw the recent hthf and haircuts prompt and had an idea for a one shot I meant that I'd be inspired by the hthf story and had an idea for a one shot prompt cause of it. Wasn't suggesting the prompt for the hthf series, wouldn't make sense cause as u said, her appearance is key for her job. Apologies for not being clear enough😅 Hope u like the idea still👍🏽 (also will say I absolutely loved the new hthf chapter and looking forward to whatever ur next work is😁)

It’s rare that Annabeth Chase loses a bet. It’s also rare that anyone would bet against her. But Leo Valdez is a brave soul. Or, more likely though Annabeth does not have proof, he cheated.

“Never,” Leo says with a grin that’s too wide for her liking. She wants to push him on it but a combination of still just being happy the dude is alive and the fact that Percy chooses that moment to walk up to them, stops her.

“Hey guys, what’s…” Percy’s smile fades as he looks at her. Which probably means she’s doing a bad job at hiding her frown. “What happened?”

“I need you to cut my hair,” she replies through gritted teeth.

“What?”

Before Leo can open his mouth to gloat (he would probably call it explaining) she buts in.

“Don’t worry about it, just cut off a little at the ends.”

Percy looks confused, which is almost cute enough to make her smile but then Leo opens his mouth and ruins it.

“A little?”

She allows a smug smile at that. At least when she loses, she tries to keep it in her favor. “We never specified how much of a haircut.”

Leo frowns. “Yeah, but it also needs to be an actual haircut. I was picturing Beauty Queen style. You don’t want to wimp out over a measly inch?” He says the last part in a slightly more teasing tone.

She knows he’s trying to bait her, Percy looks rightly concerned, but she’s not going to fall for it.

Shrugging, she replies casually enough. “It’s called strategy, next time set a better bet.”

Plus, just because Piper can pull off the messy haircut look doesn’t mean she can. Piper can pull of basically anything, and Annabeth knows she needs to play to her strengths to look good.

Unfortunately, one of those strengths is her hair.

Leo shrugs. “Alright, whatever, let’s see Percy try to only cut a little.” He pulls scissors out of his toolbelt and hands them over to Percy who takes them unsurely.

Her anxiety spikes now that the scissors are in Percy’s hand. She loves the guy, but she is not confident in his ability to do this well.

“Wait, hold on, can someone please explain what’s going on?” Percy asks. He also waves the scissors as he says this and she ducks away, mostly to prove a point.

“Sorry,” he says, forcing his hands down when he realizes. This is already not going well.

I haven’t posted for a while (whoopsies) so here’s some au!Percy fanart and lore!!!

Percy and his mother lived in a small underwater village up until the day that he was 12. Once he reached that age, Poseidon had noticed how dangerous he’d become for the people around him (as he was a nymph siren), after seeing this, he took him away from his mother onto a small island in the middle of the ocean

Percy was obviously not happy about this at all, but there was nothing he could do about it. The island was mostly inhabited by nymphs. It took a while for them to warm up to Percy, but alas, it happened!! Everything was nice and peaceful on the island! Hurray! That was until Jason appeared!!!

Jason, usually known as “Prince Grace” is a runaway prince, searching for ingredients to complete his “project.” (This project is the same thing that made him lose his memories a while after meeting Percy!!!) However, meeting Prince Grace, let alone befriending him, was not something you’d want to do!!

(To continue more of Percy’s backstory when he FIRST met “Prince Grace” I’d have to get into Jason’s backstory. Which is gonna take a REAALLLL long time so timeskip!!)

Percy was either enraged or ecstatic once he heard Jason had landed on his island again after his sudden disappearance. Probably a mix of both.

Jason and Leo stayed there for a few days, as they were told by a witch they met, Hazel, that for a healing spell, specifically having to do with Jason’s memories, she’d need a special ingredient; siren’s tears! Which caused them to go investigating for a place where people had disappeared the most (which just so happened to be Percy’s island! Wuh oh!) They met, they talked, and they befriended him. But Percy always seemed…strange. He knew information that neither Jason nor Leo seemed to recall telling him, and neither of them remembered telling them their names..

(Blah, blah, insert something Leo did that would make Percy mad that I haven’t come up with yet!!!)

Percy hunts Jason and Leo down until they finally came into a clearing, right in front of the large statue built into the mountain of Poseidon. (Epic fight scenes!! Woohoo!) Percy is close to winning, but just before he totally ENDS Jason, wuh oh! Crushed by a rock! (So THATS what Leo was doing!) Jason and Leo finally meet down in front of Percy, and Jason has to decide if he’s going to collect Percy’s tears and leave him there, or, if he’s going to sacrifice their life for his. (Spoiler alert, it’s the former.) They collect Percy’s tears in the jar and sail back to the land where they met Hazel. (They’re both traumatized now! Hurrayyy!)

Percy, eventually escaping from the rock, had to fight as more Sirens came to “claim” his island for their own, since he would be weaker now and therefore it would be harder to get “food” (people.) Percy has to fight to survive for a LONG time (I haven’t gotten the timeline figured completely out but soon..) Maybe about a year or so.

(BACK to Leo and Jason (+the newly Acquired rest of the crew!! (Piper, Annabeth, Hazel, and Frank!!)))

The 6 land on a small island, running away from the authorities (they do that a lot) and a kind woman takes them in. The kind woman just so happens to be Sally Jackson!! Sally shelters the 6 for the night and before they leave in the next morning, Sally asks one thing from them.

To find her son, Perseus/Percy Jackson. Leo, of course, recognizes the name almost immediately, however, Jason doesn’t (forgetfulness arc coming back wuh oh!). At this point, Leo believes that they had killed Percy, after all, how many people survive after having a giant rock fall on them?

They go back to Percy’s island (regretfully) and find Percy (who’s EXTREMELY close to death now.) Basically, a summed up version is that they give Percy water to heal him, hoping he won’t kill then immediately once his strength replenishes.

Now for this part, I haven’t decided if they 1. Kidnap him (forcefully) because Percy refuses to go, or 2. They’re able to explain the situation and how his mother wants to see him again, and Percy agrees! (They just keep getting caught up in things and end up never making it back) choices, choices!!

That’s about it for how Percy comes to the Argo II!! He DOES have more lore, however, that comes after that!

Ignoring the whole romantic love thing, I think a lot of Annabeth’s actions in regards to Luke make more sense if you look at it through a lens of grief. ‘Cause it has all the hallmarks: anger, denial, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. She loses Luke before he even dies and it takes 5 books for her to come to terms with it.

Also, I get where Percy is coming from, but at times I found him unnecessarily unsympathetic towards Annabeth and why she might be struggling with the whole Luke thing. He is really mean/dismissive to Annabeth in BoTL once Luke shows up again. (Actually, he’s bit mean to her in general in that book, but it’s more noticeable after Luke gets there). And, of course, he doesn’t know that Luke had given her a really cruel choice between “saving” him or war. But you’d think, after she watches someone she obviously cares deeply for get possessed by the Big Bad and she collapses sobbing from the pain of it, that Percy would, I dunno, run to comfort her. But instead he talks to both Nico and Rachel first. And then he and Annabeth end up fighting over Luke anyways.

And half of the time Percy’s animosity isn’t even that Luke has hurt him and his friends, it’s just straight jealousy and he admits as much in text.

I dunno, the whole thing is messy. Understandable from both sides, but messy nonetheless.

yeah the whole annabeth and luke thing is definitely messy.

and i completely agree that annabeth started going through the stages of grief the minute she lost luke and then didn’t really come to acceptance until right before he died. that’s exactly what happened.

but i have a hard time being mad at percy for being unsympathetic towards her feelings for luke. i’m not saying it was good how he acted, but if i was in the same situation, where my best friend was constantly defending the person who is trying to kill me, betrayed me and my camp, is trying to start a war, and is perfectly fine killing people - mortal or not - i’m not confident that i’d feel any differently than him.

i think a lot of people forget that percy was betrayed by luke, too. i mean obviously he didn’t have the history with luke like annabeth did, but luke was percy’s first real demigod friend. he made percy feel comfortable and like he belonged. he taught him how to swordfight, which became percy’s defining skill. he was a mentor to percy. and then luke tried to kill him. he literally had the scorpion sting little 12 year old percy and then left him to die. so yeah percy admits being jealous, but i think it goes deeper than that. percy says it himself that him and luke are always being compared - “People always compared me to Luke.” (SoM) - but the thing is: luke is a traitor. and percy’s defining trait is loyalty. so how would you feel if your best friend, who you have feelings for, has feelings for someone who’s actions go against everything you stand for? if you were being compared to, and competing with, someone who you never want become like? and that’s who your love interest wants. that’s such a punch to the gut.

annabeth’s feelings are so valid. if i was in her situation, i probably would be the same. i have tendency to see the best in people who don’t deserve it

but if i was in percy’s situation, i would probably be the exact same as him, you know?

i have no issues with percy and annabeth’s feelings and actions. it’s just luke’s romantic attraction towards annabeth that i have an issue with, and that’s what makes the whole situation icky in my mind. but annabeth’s feelings are so understandable, and so are percy’s.
