y/ndevils00 heyo! welcome back to my postgame boyfriend show! tonight the njdevils played against the spawns of satan (not trevor)! or.. i mean.. the new york rangers.

we start tonight’s recap off with a very cute picture i got of my boyfriend and his best friend (again; not trevor) talking about how much they love me during warmups!

we also have da sun showing me that the tooth fairy came to visit him awhile ago! i bet he got lots of money for his toofer, however i wouldn’t know because he’s stopped letting me steal his wallet.

our first goal of the night was a tip in by mr. haula at ya! followed up in the same period by a goal from timo time! notice how he made the post this time? that’s because unlike most of these idiots (i’m looking at you, marino 👀), timo takes me seriously!

however, immediately after timo’s goal, haulaback girl was placed in the sin bin for tripping. i was very disappointed and he got a very strict talking to during first intermission and assured me he wouldn’t get another penalty. he lied.

he got a penalty in second period for the exact same reason that he did in the first. i cannot promise i was as nice to him in the second intermission.

we got a few scrums in this game, but my personal favorite one was in third period and ended much too quickly for my liking. BOO, REFS!

BIG OL' UPDATE!

Hello everybody, you all know how sporadic posts have been on here, but I have been working pretty hard on updating a few things...So here's a few to keep in mind!

PAC AU LORE CARRD!

Pac Alternative lore website is still being worked! The plan at first was to make a Toy-house World section to stuff in information regrading the AU, but It was met with some... technical difficulties. ( I underestimated how complex HTML can be.) Which is why the Toy-house update was taking a bit longer than it should have.

But luckily, I discovered last second I can just make a carrd. site with all the info people need to Start with LOL. Progress has been moving very smoothly. There's of course a lot of work to do, but what we have so far is looking pretty good.

You guys deserve a preview...

UPDATING CHARACTER REFS

To put it bluntly, the character references from last year don't hold up all too well now. Call it perfectionism or stubbornness, but after taking the time to look back on my methods of doing them, I wanted to handle it in a different approach.

Each of the refs going forward are going to be a bit more complex so I can have an easier time drawing outfits for the characters and understanding how to draw their body types as a whole. Think dress-up dolls as in ( under-garments, main and casual outfit). Not EVERY character will have this, but the ones I will be drawing the most, most definitely will.

I'm already learning a ton from this way of doing them, It is going to take me a longer time showing the cast to you all. But I am happy to say that the Pac-people are ALMOST completed! I can't wait to show them off, but you are more likely to see them early on Toyhouse..,

COMIC UPDATE?

The comic writing wise is still in it's early stages...! After the site is completed I will be more motivated to get chapters 1+2+3 all written out by this or next year so I can finally start drawing out the main story! For now, though, mini comics will be more often to come out.

Sorry for this part of the update in particular taking a bit to get running, but the previous updates above are what I am the most focused on right now.

Updated nostalgia info/headcanons

Basic information + personality

nostalgia's sexuality is aromantic-asexual or for short just aroace

she arrived in headquarters a little before the events of io2

Nostalgia inherited Joy's glow but her glow is slightly dimmer than Joy's and is more on the deeper blue side in comparison

She is in between both being pessimistic and optimistic and she is capable of being both or one another

She's caring and sweet for a lot of times but stern/tough about those she cares deeply for

She's also very possessive or her mother's especially Sadness and will do anything for them but she loves them deeply nonetheless

shes the in between mature and childish, she's almost a healthy balance

She's a quick thinker and gathers ideas quickly for the emotions that can help Riley in the future or now

She's very compassionate about a lot of things she's into

She's motherly (even if she's without a child, gets it from her experience of being the only emotion technically raised by a parental figure) to the emotions and will do anything in her helping to give them the advice or help they need

She's a helper around headquarters to make up for the lack of work she has to do on the console and usually likes to help sort things out around headquarters etc etc

little Nostalgia info

little Nostalgia is a curious little emotion and loves to explore headquarters and ask questions about it and how things work around headquarters

She's quite optimistic and a happy child but can be a little fragile when it comes to her feelings being hurt

She isn't the most understanding type of person but is always willing to learn to understand things better

She's very attached to her mother's and can tend to be a little upset when left alone without them or just alone in general for too long

She's quite energetic for her small size and likes to walk around headquarters and play while the others work

She is pretty naive at most times but she tries her best

Little nostalgia (around kid to toddler) is around half the height or just a little above that to anger but is taller than envy

Anger is one of her favourite emotions besides her mother's to be around (he's like a cool uncle to her!)

Physical appearance of both adult and baby version

Adult nostalgia is slightly taller than disgust yet is still shorter than fear while baby Nostalgia is roughly around one and a half memories tall (maybe slightly bigger) while first born nostalgia (around one and a half weeks old) is only one memory tall.

Adult nostalgia does in fact have eye wrinkles/eye bags designed that way just as a simple character quirk and from her lack of sleep

nostalgia has chest scars from a past surgery to help shrink down her bust as she was unhappy with her appearance before surgery

Nostalgia is a little chubby like her mama Sadness but is a little more stretched out body type wise as an adult/teen while baby nostalgia has a more stubby and rounder body type in comparison to her adult self

Just like joy and disgust nostalgia is seen with differently colored lips that being a darker blue then the blue side of her body

Her eyes are the same shade of blue as sadness' eyes

Nostalgia is ambidextrous

When Nostalgia is nervous or in distress she likes to hide herself in her coat

Nostalgia has the ability to change memories the same way sadness is able to

Nostalgia is slightly nearsighted but her vision is good enough where she doesn't constantly need to wear glasses although she does struggle to read on her own.

She does not create her own memories as often as the other emotions do. her job is mainly to turn memories nostalgic by touching already made memories that she or other emotions bring up to headquarters, but she has a unique ability where her memories move! For example the colours of regular mixed memories stay in place while with Nostalgia's memories the colours move and mix around, the colours are never still.

One of her favorite things to do is to let Riley do the things Riley used to do when she was younger like watching old childhood shows or playing with older toys etc etc

Nostalgia can sometimes go completely non verbal when upset or in distress and it is mostly out of her control

cabin 14//iris kids headcanons

a/n: the hcs will be updated and edited as i come up with more

when iris kids get claimed a small rainbow appears over their heads—like a halo—regardless of the weather and if they're inside or not.

the cabin is made of marble and a prism hangs above the door that splits light and makes a rainbow when it's sunny.

inside it's very colourful. the beds, the paintings, the sculptures, the carpet.

iris kids are very indecisive so they always change the colours of the cabin. there have been fights between them on what colour/s to use next, what colour is too overused and other small, petty things.

they (almost) never have serious fights 'cause they're always able to communicate properly and resolve it/find a middle ground.

im probably not the first to say it but most—if not all—iris kids are queer/lgbtq+

they are the first to know when another camper is gay/trans/queer, since most other kids feel more comfortable discussing these things with iris kids.

they have a pretty good relationship with their mom. she even visits them or sends them messages throw rainbows.

the cabin has pots of all sizes with flowers from the demeter kids. they are good friends, along with some apollo and hermes kids. they help the demeter cabin grow strawberries and other fauna.

iris kids have a healthy competitions with ares kids. it's not uncommon to find an iris and ares kid having a playful banter, or fighting somewhere in the woods.

aphrodite kids love shipping them together. some iris/ares kids like to entertain them and tease eachother even more. others find it funny.

iris children are the third fastest cabin, after the hermes cabin(no. 1) and most of the ares kids(no. 2).

they don't like hardcore workouts—like ares kids—but they like jogging around the lake or throw the forest. sometimes they let apollo kids run with them to keep them company.

iris kids try to be friendly with everyone at camp(they are, sort of, cousins after all), but they won't hesitate to fight someone if needed.

they are pretty solid fighters when they need to, tho it's always the last resort for them. they prefer to try and communicate instead of going straight to beating eachother up(like ares kids. they swear it's easier and faster ti resolve things that way, but iris kids strongly disagree).

iris kids always try to stand their ground at fight for what they believe in.

they love a good debate(usually with ares kids)

most have light curly hair, usually short, tho they like to dye it from time to time. they also have brown eyes that look hazel/golden in the sun.

they are dog/hamster ppl.

i know it in my bones that the absolutely love and squeal when they see dogs in the street.

in some paintings iris is depicted as a goddess with wings (golden or white) but a lot of her kids didn't inherit that. some like to manipulate light to make it seem like they have transparent wings. so when an iris kid with wings comes to camp they lose it. they think it's so cool to have the ability to fly, just like that.

they love going to the pegasi stables with hypnos and aphrodite kids.

no matter their skin colour, they always seem to literally shine, like they have glitter all over them—they do.

they like to throw glitter everywhere (little misfortune ref)

one time the glitter went to the strawberry fields and demeter kids—as well as the satyrs—were mad at them for a week. they were forced to help them and they got their glitter privileges revoked.

they made sure to be more aware were they throw their glitter the next time.

iris kids share an interest in doves with the aphrodite kids. doves, in older times, were used to carry messages, so when a dove comes near an aphrodite kid they always try to pet it too.

their cabin is full of old antiques and stuff they swear they need to use later. they hate to throw things away. you could go in the cabin and leave looking like you've been sent from the medieval times.

they always carry candy with them

they either hate mint/mint-flavoured things or they love it.

they have a pet hamster in their cabin(like those class pets) and they love it.

iris kids probably give the weirdest names (ex mustard, mayonnaise, bird etc)

his name is ket (short fir ketchup).

one time they left ket's cage open end he got lost so they had to—begrudgingly—ask the hermes cabin for help. hermes kids found and returned ket safe and sound but they never let the iris kids live it down.

i only put cats & big cats on the flyer because i love cats, but i have made all sorts of creatures, like sheep, cows, prehistoric animals, dragons, an octopus, birds, frogs, reptiles, bunnies, fish, pokemon, bugs and lots more, and i am always excited to try new things too. although i'm behind on updating it with my new projects, my website has photos of other fun stuff i've made ! i promise it's not all cats

✦ what i can do

your pet, fursona, favourite ffxiv minion, beloved pokemon, rarely depicted special interest, science outreach mascot, tabletop game character, and anything else you love long as it is creature shape (rather than people shape). they can have little accessories and fun details both sculpted and painted, but obviously the scale means these details will be somewhat minimalist for safety's sake (like in examples). they can have patterns and colours painted or i can marble and swirl clay of different colours. i can also texture them to appear fluffy or scaly. i love using shimmery and metallic paints - neat for the festive season! if you are gifting, i can add a little card and/or ribbon to your creature and mail it directly to your giftee.

✦ refs

images of the actual creature you would like me to make you are always neat, but it is okay if you do not have those. a little doodle, a moodboard, a picrew, a detailed description are all very good too, and i will ask for any info i need. or if you only have the vibes and would like me to come up with a design that's neat too.

✦ what i cannot do

because these are small and they must also survive in the mail, i cannot add super fine details like long antennae or thin tentacles. i can still add details like these in, but they will be chubby and short. the tails on the flyer are about as thin as they can go. i am also wary of creatures with very delicate details coming out to the sides from the main bulk of the animal (like wings and antlers) because they have a riskier time in the mail. these will also need to be very chubby in order to be sturdy. where viable, i would prefer creatures to remain on all four legs (like meerkat being long instead of tall) and that they are standing, not sitting. this works best with my sculpting technique, but i am happy to branch out where needed. loafing and splooting creatures are very welcome. because they need to be able to stand, biped creatures have to be extra chubby on the bottom. for this reason i tend to not sculpt legs at all (on birds for example), but i can paint them on where it is an option. if the creature really needs legs they can be sitting instead with their legs in front of them or similar. i will do my best to come up with an idea that works for your creature and still allows them to balance fine ! i prefer mixing clay and getting colour variation that way if the creature is not one colour. for paint, i generally use dark blue or dark brown for darker details, and white for lighter details, with other colours used sparingly where that detail is necessary, like eye colour. i am most comfortable with minimal paint, because it means the finish is much sturdier and will not get damaged with regular handling and play. so patterns like multicolour spots or swirls and accessories like hats and scarves will be a different clay colour rather than painted, most of the time.

✦ about your creature

the animals are about 5cm/2 inches long. wolf & ghostling creatures always have beans and x shaped buttholes and other little details like that where applicable. i make the creatures out of polymer clay (usually fimo) and they are painted with acrylic paint and sealed with glossy acrylic varnish. i also use shimmery and colour changing powders that i mix into the paint sometimes to get metallic, pearlescent, and holographic effects. they are waterproof (just don't scrub them) and they are very sturdy. they can survive falls and even being yeeted across the room by my bastard cat. they are weak to things falling on them and to being squashed. the clay has some flexibility but it will eventually snap under pressure. the finish should not rub away at all with handling, long as you do not scratch it. unless they're super stubby, their legs and tails are built on armatures (wood and wire). this makes them extra sturdy and also quite easy to fix should an accident happen. they are full of love. i adore making them. they bring me so much joy. i hope you will feel the same.

✦ timeframe, shipping, and shop policies

your creature will be finished in 1-4 weeks. it depends on how many i have to make and whether i have the right colour clay on hand or must order it online. i will always aim to work as fast as possible. i do not always complete the first orders i received before later orders - i work on them depending on which one i feel is best for me to tackle at the time so that i am always excited and get the best results. i will contact you with updates if you like, and to ask any questions if something is unclear. i love taking wip photos. once your creature is finished, i will ship it out using royal mail. uk orders are shipped tracked and international orders are shipped standard. if your country has notoriously unreliable post service or you'd just feel safer with a tracking number, please let me know and i can invoice you via paypal to upgrade to tracked shipping for around £6. creatures should arrive to anywhere in the world in 2-3 weeks maximum, but of course i cannot guarantee, and varies by time of year and your local carrier. as these are custom orders there are no returns or refunds. if your creature gets lost in the mail i will do my utmost to sort it out with royal mail but i unfortunately cannot refund you out of pocket as i am barely covering my own costs and offering these so i can afford the most basic of necessities. if your creature arrives damaged please get in touch and i will provide advice on how to fix it or a replacement, depending on circumstances.

next: updated refs for the main adult cast (aka, the other core quintet)

- As principal of Jerome Horwitz Elementary, Erica Wang has dedicated her career to making sure every child in her school gets the support they need. Under Erica's leadership, JHES is a much less depressing place, sporting features like an art program, a fully-stocked library, after school tutoring, and an actual full-time school nurse.

- Erica herself also likes to take a hands-on approach with students, taking notice of anyone who seems to be struggling either academically or socially and working together with Bo to figure out the best course of action. While her intentions are definitely in the right place and come from a sense of genuine care, she does have a habit of forgetting to ask the students themselves what they think of her ideas....

- Design note: Erica's design is a fusion of her main kid design and her future "Grace Wain" persona

- Bo Hweemuth is the school's student guidance counselor, which basically means his job is to talk to students and help get them any resources they need, both in and outside of school. Though a lot of students feel intimidated by him at first glance, he's actually a very chill guy who likes to approach students with as much kindness and empathy as he can. He knows what it's like to be treated like a nuisance.

- Besides being co-workers, Bo is actually very good friends with Principal Wang, genuinely enjoying the work they do together to make sure every child at Jerome Horwitz can thrive.... despite any misgivings he might have about her approach. And speaking of co-workers, he's also recently struck up a pretty close friendship with the school librarian....

- In his spare time, he likes to experiment with clay sculpture. His office is decorated with all the little sculptures and figures he's made over the years.

- George Beard and Harold Hutchins are known around school as That One Pair Of Teachers; they're always together and are each other's best friend, even outside of work. To their students, they're some of the funnest teachers they've had at JHES, since they prioritize making their classes into fun, engaging learning environments through creative lesson plans and treating their students like actual people. Especially George, since he teaches the traditionally "boring" subjects of English and Literature.

- George and Harold are also the current co-leads of the school Music and Arts Program, along with music teacher Dressy Killman. Harold mentors in art, while George handles creative writing. They like to joke that they're "professionals in their field," except they're not really joking about that and it's just that everybody thinks that they are because nobody knows anything about them outside of the school.....

- Design note: George and Harold already have canon adult designs, so I just added on a few accessories to distinguish their AU selves from their canon counterparts (George's suspenders, Harold's vest)

- Melvin Sneedly (that's Professor Sneedly to you) is starting his first year as Jerome Horwitz's new science teacher, after a regrettably failed attempt to get his robotics career off the ground. He absolutely does not want to be here, he hates teaching, he hates kids, the sooner he can get out of this terrible place the better.

- He's not exactly helping his case by driving away everyone who tries to connect with him, either. Instead of spending his break times in the staff lounge with everyone else, he's spending them holed away in his classroom, poring over lesson plans, reminders of his broken dreams, and.... other stuff. It's probably not a good idea to keep bringing these personal projects to work with him but then again, his science career did fail for a reason....

- Design note: the main design philosophy here is "hey, what would Melvinborg look like without the robot half.....?"

I have a couple projects going on involving him, one of them being a site for him and the rest of his crew!

He started as a simple daycare oc but ive kinda separated him from sb completely and he now has his own location which is slightly connected to sister location, i need to redesign most of the other animatronics tho :(

I commissioned a fully rigged 3d model of him by hidiwimae! thats where my header comes from :)

A story about a Clown

Sweet Tooth’s very own lil guy circus, now travelling Kalos! A performance where only one man comes out on top, the clown himself. Aged somewhere between middle aged and “Young as a berry”, this clown will have you wishing you never crossed paths with such an entertaining enemy. He won’t wipe your party without cracking a few jokes along the way. He’s not afraid to play dirty, but for the sake of good showman ship he’ll start off fair.

Which would be fair information if I didn’t write it myself, huh? You never know when the shows gonna start, so make sure you have your tickets ready! Or don’t! You didn’t really have a choice. Participation IS mandatory! My pronouns are He/Him, but if don’t worry about forcing the words out of your mouth when you’re warning your friends about the c-c-c-c-c-c-clown.

What a magnificent turnout! I wonder who’s on the cast list?

Machete: A rather interesting looking Honedge with a bit of edge. Pretty sharp, if ya know what I mean.

Mimo: A Mr. Mime with a wonderful outfit! A Fire/Psychic type with a cute outfit to match her trainer’s, what’s not to love!

Vani: A Strawberry Flavored Vanillite with a very creative name! Cherry on top and sprinkles! 

Pretty Kitty: A sylveon that isn’t really expected to fight, just to look pretty for the show! All dressed up with the cutest little outfit, they’re the perfect distraction for any ambush. (to be designed) 

Dizzy: They say no two Spinda are alike, but they can be if you make yourself dizzy enough! This dude’s all dressed up in his clown best! A classic puffy little outfit that’s sure to make you forget the trainer behind him. (to be designed) 

Squishy: A Banette with a rather silly look to her. There’s no time like the present, and Squishy’s little tricks will have you rolling on the ground with laughter! (to be designed)

hi! names padfoot! i am an adult, so this entire blog is adult run. this is my first time running something like this on tumblr!!! so i am very excited! Sweet Tooth is adapted from the Twisted Metal series! I say adapted because he has been tweaked just a bit to fit the setting, but he’s still a loveable evil clown either way. everything will be tagged either with basic pkmnirl or rp tags :)

as far as everything goes, the concept of adapting him in this way, his design, and his first three pokemon are all credited to @moderator-monnie and @lazy-charlie ! the current pfp and the forever existing reference art was done by lazy-charlie! 

pfp and banner will be updated with the full cast at some point or another, but for now its just the truck and such. the other three pokemon will be drawn up and posted whenever i’m able to do digital art again, so far now text based description is all you get :( 

dni is basic, no nsfw (suggestive is ok!!!), no type of hate fuelled phobias, no slurs, no zoos maps or drama starters.  if i dont respond please dont get too upset about it, i will try and make responses to everyone that i can but if i miss you feel free to try again! just dont spam. as stated, i am an adult so i do have an adult life i need to tend too alongside this silly little project.

I just wanted to ask if there will be still another chance at getting Volume 1 and 2 of ROTP physical copies.

Been busy and off Tumblr and stuff for a bit, so I missed u announcing ur campaign for that.

I hope I can still get them sometime in the future, because I was really excited to get them.

The next one will ship everywhere too, so you don’t have to worry about your location. I just needed to get the first campaign done so I could add more locations and so that the people who ordered in December weren’t waiting forever for their comics to come.

(sorry for mistakes) I know I'm not most people, but I'm incredibly interested in Kei and Yani relationship (for at least a month now)! I have thoughts that either Kei created Yani, or Kei resurrected/saved a life Yani (considering how Yani parents treated them, I wouldn't be surprised if Yani was actually dying at some point). And your words that Kei previously performed medical interventions suggest that these interventions were performed on Yani. (there were also thoughts about the fact that Kei is Yani older brother, but Yani (judging by the sheet “Understand my ship in 5 minutes” Yani is older) (just stupid thoughts out loud)

A lot has actually changed since I made those "Understand my ship in 5 minutes" And they need to be updated, which I do plan of doing when I eventually finish all the refs! For now though, I will say that Kei and Yani are actually the same age! And these aren't stupid thoughts, I LOVE and ADORE theories and love seeing all your questions about the game so thank you for sharing your questions and thoughts!! <333

MAJOR SPOILERS BENEATH(like seriously I basically explain everything about Kei and Yani do not read if you want to figure everything out in the game)

You did get it right! Kei created Yani, Kei created the entirety of "Mine" actually! See Kei is in love with YOU, the player, not the MC, and made "Mine in order to get your attention and communicate with you! I don't have plans to go into how he knows you in the game cause I think it'd be more interesting to see what others come up with(For example maybe he was just an oc you saw online, or maybe Kei's a virus which is personally what I headcanon him as, but once again I'd be really interested in seeing what others come up with for Kei :3) but he's real, he exists and he made "Mine" to get your attention. Kei created Yani based off of Kei's obsession with you, Yani is Kei's obsession with you personalized and therefore Kei and Yani can do anything they want in this world. This does leave a few questions like "Why did Kei make other love interests then?" or "Why doesn't Yani destroy Kei?" for the first question, Kei loves the feeling of his obsession, he loves his extreme love for you and he wants it to grow and grow, he's a bit of a masochist ig LOL. Watching you get with these nobodies that he created, it drives him up a wall. Another reason to it though is to see what kind of person you like so Kei can base himself off of that(Though he has a bit of a hard time copying Hoshi and Habiki since they're so rude to you and you don't deserve that, rather their more so to prove that Kei is better than them and to make you fall in love with him more) Secondly, Yani can't destroy it's creator or the game itself will be destroyed. Truthfully, no matter what route Yani goes for they're bound for misery. They can't get with you or Kei will erase them, you can't get with Kei or Kei will erase them, and Yani can't kill Kei otherwise they both die. So Kei and Yani are the only ones aware they're in a game and they're the only ones that like YOU, the player(Although if the others knew they were in a game they would like you, the player, as well and rather see the blank slate MC as a way to get closer to you and talk to you) Somewhere along the way I realized that Kei and Yani have a lot in common and decided to make them one, they did both start out as their own people though. It's been mentioned that Yani has an older brother before who was good at everything and looked down upon Yani, well that older brother is a manifestation of who Kei used to be before he met you, perfect and studious doing no wrong and being loved by his parents. Yani was ruthlessly abused by their parents, and although I haven't mentioned it yet to avoid spoilers, Kei went through a lot of what Yani did, forced to sleep outside(so Kei could be away from his computer and therefore you), starved and beaten(To try and knock some sense into Kei. Kei's life was on the line so they thought that maybe if he realized that Kei would come to hate you for putting his life at risk) I've even changed Kei's eye color in his new design to be Yani's eye color! That's what the blocked out spoiler is LOL

I've really been pushing their similarities for a bit, even if a bit subtly, I've been trying to make them say "Y/N" in recent posts while everyone else says "MC" and everyone else birthday ends in "th" while Kei's ends in "st" and Yani's in "nd" similar in the sense that they're separated from everyone else but different enough to not just be the same person. And the binary in Yani's section for the birthday post being creation date since that's when Kei made Yani.

At first Kei was just interested that he could see you and hear you from your computer, but he also couldn't go anywhere. So he just watched and listened to you and fell in love slowly, you were the first thing, the first person that Kei had ever had any kind of contact with and he fell in love with you HARD. He wants you so badly but he can't leave the computer so he created a "physical" him and made a story and game that suits your tastes, something that would catch your attention and draw you in hence how "Mine" was created by Kei!

loved drawing everyone here!! the diversity in styles and designs is very fun to look and and was neat to experiment with! trying out their style while mincing some of my own in, aswell as how everyone fits on the page,,,mwa💛✨. i really like characters with an exaggeration on expression (+ mesmerizing fluid/fire/smoke animation) so Remkae’s mind design/mindification-of-a-character was a MUst. silly eyes. kalei!!’s Estranger anim crew was very cool to look at and draw, and here i experimented with the squiggles which turned out better than how i usually do it. i had watched the animation recently then and that heart came into…mind. jeweled’s style and fellers are just so fun to look at…i just want to hold them. so simple and neat i love them. i love how their heart fits so nicely in here, looking snug but almost smug. and occulee’s stuff and style just had human faces down and their concepts for mind are very cool :]. trying out different ways to draw hair, and with the 6th spooky month out i’ve been maybe unironically drawing in the roy-hair-style?? occulee’s mind has a mishmash-monstermash hair style. foof to get in his face <33

Sleepwalker

I have had this idea in mind for like a month and I'm so glad I was finally able to actually get to it and I love how it came out!!

I've been wanting to give Pumpernickel some much needed development for a long time now, and this is the first part of that! This piece is based on his new theme song: Sleepwalker by Owl City, featuring vocals by Derek Fuhrmann! You guys have seen me mention how much I like that song before but I was listening to it about a month ago as I was doing some maintenance on Pumpernickel's Toyhouse page and now he is forever linked with that song for me lmao (or at least until a find a possible better theme for him lol)

But yeah, Pumpernickel is my drummer character that's part of my OC band Let's Get Back! and I've always wanted to give him more depth than just that, so a deeper theme song is a good place to start! I might make more theme song inspired pieces for more of my characters bc this was rlly fun lol. If I make more, the next one will be Pumpernickel's twin brother Rye since I also recently changed his theme song too :]

geography

so basically the underrealm (ik this name comes from some creepypasta comic but idk off the top of my head which) is basically like hell and looks like the nether from minecraft in that its like one huge cave system type deal with various major caverns being provinces. theres no plants so the residents are carnivorous + also eat rocks and gems since theyre edible to them. the caverns tend to be layered with rock formation shelves that people live on, and the cavern is warmer the higher up you are. there isnt any sort of sun since its all cave but there are plenty of creatires and rocks that glow plus theyve got things like electricity to light up the caverns

sociology/political

so obv zalgo is the emperor of the underrealm and he has his own providence thats just his labyrinthine palace (its lonely at the top!) but each providence has its own chancellor thats in charge of it like a president and each chancellor is one of zalgos kids! since hes kind of a chaotic anomaly he just kind of pops out a baby every so often (he tries very hard to be a good dad) and when they get old enough they basically just get an extremely high role in the govt. the chancellor positions are in high demand, so theres a lot of duels to the death between siblings to try and steal each others positions.

theres also a few high chancellors (my oc austeros was one of these, i might put them back in this story ngl) who are the most influential under zalgo himself (theyre all also zalgos nepo babies) and they work directly under him to run everything. i remember there being high chancellors of war, magic, law, commerce and "communications" (this one is just propaganda and austeros runs it very cruelly). anyways they work with zalgo and run basically everything from the shadows

almost all of the chancellors have harems + a harem queen thats like the main partner politically, and these are usually made up people from high standing underrealm families

under the chancellors theres a very strong class system that correlates with how high up the caverns ppl live, so the higher up you are, the more influence you have, and the healthier you are since the heat is necessary for zalgoids. lower down areas are usually very impoverished and consist of small huts and markets, whereas higher up areas are more metropolitan, and finally the tops are very wealthy with tons of estates (of course the chancellors are at the very top with ginormous estates)

a very common way for people to exert their influence is via violence and killing, though certain people are particularly cruel or frequent in this (again, looking at you austeros)

biology

theres a few different species that live in the underrealm, but the main one i have developed are zalgoids, which is kinda what zalgo is (hes special tho)

ill use austeros for a ref since theyre the only one ive drawn semi recently

basically they have a carapace that protects their actual bodies, which are in a type of gaslike state in the shell (this is why they need heat so they can maintain the pressure inside their shell) but when they molt/their shell breaks, they solidify into physical creatures that all look different! heres my old austeros design without a shell (old asf so it looks shitty and needs to be updated but oh well)

zalgoids have regular molting seasons where they often isolate, and while they are more prone in their molted state, they are also larger and more powerful

there are other species (ill show an old concept drawing below) but they arent nearly as developed. theres not really any sort of prejudice or hate between species, they coexist very well in all parts of the hierarchy (except chancellors which are all zalgoids). also none of the species need to sleep so everything is always running 24/7

but yeah! thats basically everything i can think of! i imagine the creepypasta mansion has a portal somewhere (my old hc was a well but id probably change that now) to get to the underrealm since its like a pocket dimension but they def visit sometimes :) oh also i hc that smile dog is half underrealm creature hence why hes like That
