On the 19th of August, nine years ago, Girls' Generation released their fifth studio album, "Lion Heart."

The title track is a retro-inspired pop song by Girls' Generation. The song features a catchy, vintage sound reminiscent of the 1960s, with a playful melody and lyrics about a girl who is in love with a charming but unpredictable man, likened to a lion. The accompanying music video complements the retro vibe, featuring vibrant, colorful sets and fashion, capturing a fun, nostalgic atmosphere. "Lion Heart" was a hit, showcasing the group's versatility and strong visual and vocal performances.

Girls Generation Deep Dive #2/2: The Nation's Girl Group

Here are my credentials (again): So, I’m absolutely a fan of Girls’ Generation, although I’m in that weird space where I’m more than a casual one yet not quite a SONE (a full fan), but just like with Sunmi, I have a feeling that this deep dive will make me one. I’ve heard almost all of their title tracks, and a decent amount of b-sides, but since they have over 100 songs, I’m sure I’ll find some new ones to love too. I’m also a fan of both Taeyeon and Tiffany’s solo careers.
