“Look so pretty,” he’d tell you, bouncing your baby on his hip and looking at her. “Ain’t mama pretty?”

“Pretty!” your daughter would exclaim, waving her little hand at you. she'd been named Charlotte when she was born, but he took one look at her rosy cheeks and said they looked like cherries. and that was what he called her. you loved watching them together, leaning on the porch railing after you were done cleaning up. they’d be in the garden, and she’d show him the flowers she picked and grasped in her chubby fists. it was adorable: Billy and his Cherry.

he'd see you on the porch and wave you over, tugging you down to sit with him, with your knees resting on his thigh, your feet between his legs. Cherry would come over and sit on his leg, showing you the few more flowers she had aquired and pushing them into your hand.

"for me?" you'd smile. "how lovely."

billy'd watch the whole scene with a soft smile on his face, then put his arms around the both of you, his cheek resting on your head, his other hand holding Cherry to his chest. "lookit m' girls," he'd say, kissing your cheek and then the top of Cherry's head. "lucky man, I am."

I think of Coryo as the type of dad who'd absolutely spoil his child, but especially if it was a daughter. you'd worried Coryo would be more absent since the baby wasn't a boy, but you didn't think he could have loved her more than he did. he'd hold her on his lap while he was doing paperwork, bouncing her on his knee and letting her draw little hearts on his proposals.

he'd dress her in pretty things just as he did you, and spoil her with little presents. you always said you were lucky your daughter was so sweet or else she'd be a monster with how he let her get her way.

if you had a difficult birth, Coryo would have been slower to warm up to the baby than you were, at first looking at her as something that nearly killed you. but the minute he held her he was smitten, rocking her back and forth, a smile melting his usual stoic expression. it warmed your heart to see them together. he'd make sure his daughter had every advantage in the world, everything she wanted was at her fingertips.

he always said she looked like you but you thought she was all Coryo, with his pale blonde hair and bright blue eyes. seeing the face of someone you loved in your little daughter only endeared her to you more.

after a long day of work, he'd stand up and stretch, heading into the nursery to see her, the bright spot in his day. sometimes you'd already be in there, standing beside her bed and watching her sleep.

he'd wrap his arms around you from behind and rest his chin on your shoulder, watching her too.

"has she been asleep long?" he'd ask, kissing the side of your head, unable to tear his eyes away from the sight of your sleeping baby.

"just a few minutes," you'd say, and he'd bury his nose in your hair, smiling softly.

"she's beautiful, isn't she?" he'd murmur into your hair.

"yes," you'd lean back into him. he said the same thing every time and you loved it. "she is."

Yami didn’t know how this happened, she was fine when she left on a mission with Asta and Noelle, but when they all came back she was a baby! When he asked them what the hell happened Asta and Noelle explained that it was the bad guys magic; he could make people really old, or really young!

Yami had ordered them to take her back to the mage and force him to change her back but Noelle explained that they tried, but the mage said his spell would only wear off in 24 hours. So for now…they were stuck with her being a toddler!

She was still able to walk at least, talking on the other hand…well she was only able to say a handful of words, mainly ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’. Which kind of bothered Yami since he didn’t want to be called ‘daddy’ by a member of his squad, but she wasn't really eager to learn ‘Yami’ at the moment he would have to deal with it for now.

Yami fully intended to leave her at the squad as he went to a Captain’s meeting, but when Yami began to ask who wanted to be in charge of their toddler squadmate every single Black Bull scattered like leaves in a gust of wind.

Which was how he ended up in his current situation; in the Captain’s meeting room, with his toddler squadmate sitting in his lap, as the other Captain’s ‘oohed’ and ‘awwed’ over her.

“ Aw look how adorable she is! I didn’t know you had a baby Yami!” Dorothy said as she began to use her Glamour World magic to create small toys to keep her entertained. Charlotte crossed her arms as she looked at the child.

‘Yami had a child?! Why didn’t he say anything? Does that mean he’s married or has a committed partner? Or is the child a product of a one night stand? Yami doesn’t seem to be the type to do that though, so he must have someone! Why didn’t he say anything, I’m so jealous of her, why didn’t I confess to him sooner?!’ Charlotte’s mind raced as she stared at the little girl, she didn’t look like Yami, but that could easily be explained away. The girl looked at Charlotte with wide eyes before she smiled brightly and reached her arms out towards the Briar mage.

“ Mommy?” She asked cutely before her smile widened. “ Mommy!”

Charlotte and Dorothy’s hearts quickly melted and they both couldn’t help but say ‘How Cute~!’. Yami sighed and shook his head.

“ The Prickly Princess ain’t your mom, and I’m not her dad. She’s a member of my squad who got turned into a toddler on a mission earlier. The other brats took off running when I asked them to baby sit her.” Yami explained as he held the small girl still. She looked up at him with a pout but did stop moving.

“ I see, so how long will she be like this?” Fuegoleon asked as he placed a thoughtful hand under his chin, the girl looked at him for a moment before her bright smile returned.

“ Daddy!” She shouted brightly and with a giggle, Fuegoleon’s brows raised in surprise and a small smile appeared on his face.

“ I’m sorry to say that I’m not your father little one.” Fuegoloen told her gently as he patted her on the head, the little girl pouted.

“ She seems to only be able to say ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’, which makes sense since she’s only like 1 or 2.” Yami said in an unsure tone, Rill tilted his head.

“ I think she’s closer to a year and a half! Babies are generally able to walk by the time they’re one, and can talk in short sentences by the age of two, so logically she should be somewhere in between since she can walk but not really talk!” Rill said thoughtfully as he stared at the young girl.

“ How the hell do you know that kid?” Jack asked with a frown and Rill suddenly laughed sheepishly.

“ Me and my squad sometimes volunteer at the orphanages in the city and the sisters explained it to me when I tried to have a group of kids tell me about their paintings.” Rill explained and the others nodded.

The little girls eyes moved to Nozel, who was sitting in his seat with his eyes closed and arms crossed, ignoring her effectively.

“ Daddy…?” She asked hesitantly and Nozel’s eyes shot open and he glared coldly at her.

“ I’m not your father, and I wish you would refrain from calling me that.” He told the girl, his tone as cold as ice, the little girl jumped for a moment before her eyes welled up with tears.

The girl began to cry and wail at the top of her lungs, everyone glared openly at Nozel.

“ What the hell did you do that for braid boy?!” Yami asked as he and the others tried to console the toddler and Nozel’s eyes widened a bit.

“ Geez Nozel she’s just a baby, can’t you be just a little nicer with her?” Dorothy asked as she put her hands on her hips and had a angry look on her face. Nozel’s cheeks turned a shade of pink and he looked away.

“ Don’t listen to him brat,” Yami said to the toddler as he gently patted her head. “ You can call of us ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ as much as you like. And ignore him.” Yami instructed them as his hand moved away from her head and began to wipe away her tears.

“ Yeah! Nozel’s just jealous because he doesn’t have a cool baby of his own!” Rill said as he crossed his arms, and Jack looked over at the Silver Eagles Captain.

“ Even I’m not that big of a jerk to kids bird boy.” He muttered with a shake of his head, Nozel sighed loudly before turning to look at them all.

“ I’m not jealous and I’m not angry at the child!” Nozel shouted accidentally, causing everyones eyes to widen. “ It’s just…” He glanced over at Dorothy, and she suddenly realized why he was acting the way he was.

Seeing that little girl was bringing up a lot of painful memories for him, so all he knew to do was lash out in order to hide his true emotions.

“ It’s just that a Captain’s meeting is no place for a child as young as her. Here, we talk about and see so many terrible things that it could easily traumatize someone as young as her for life. Don’t you think it would be better for her to remain innocent to the horrors of the world just a little longer?” Nozel asked with a sigh.

“ Uh, she’s already seen the horrors of the world remember? She’s actually a Magic Knight?” Yami pointed out in confusion, causing Nozel’s face to turn a brighter red.

“ Nozel does have a point. A Captain’s meeting is no place for a young child,” Fuegoloen agreed before he reached out to take her from Yami. “ So I suggest that she stay with Marx for the time being, and once the meetings over Yami can take her back. Alright?” He watched as all the others nodded and he carefully carried the child through the doors and to Marx.

The meeting ended fairly quickly and now Yami was heading back to the Black Bulls Hideout. After being full of energy all day she had finally wore herself out and was sound asleep in Yami’s arms. He chuckled a bit as he looked down at her, as much as he didn’t want to babysit her at first, he had to admit it was a nice change of pace and he was actually going to miss her being this small.

At least until she woke up and began to torment everyone again, then he wouldn’t be able to wait until she transformed back into her normal self again.

I need more dad Trevor with twin daughters 😭 can I please get something where he takes them out on separate daddy/daughter dates? He totally seems like the type of dad who would do whatever his babies asked of him

a/n: i had way too much fun planning this out. thank you so much for requesting it

One of the first promises that Trevor had done when he found out his girlfriend was pregnant with twins was that he would give all of them his individual attention. He wanted his daughters to know and feel that they were their own individual humans because he knew most of the people in their lives would treat them as one. He also vowed to his girlfriend that they would always find time for each other in the middle of all the chaos. This meant a lot of date nights with all three of his favorite girls.

His twins were definitely very different from each other. Since birth their personalities had been very different but as they grew up those personalities shown through more and more every day. This meant he had to get pretty creative on what to do on those solo dates with them because he wanted to pick the right activity.

Date #1 - Adeline

Adeline or Addybug as Trevor liked to call her had always been the calm sensitive baby. She thrived when it came to sitting down and reading a book or all the quieter activities. Out of the twins she was the one Trevor had to think more out of the box for because it was usually opposite of the activities he would do. But he always went above and beyond for things she liked to do. Right now both Trevor and Adeline had finished up getting their nails done at the nail salon, completely Addys idea but Trevor went along with every second of it.

Now it was his turn for her big surprise. “Remember when you told daddy you wanted to go to the butterfly garden?” Trevor asked and immediately her eyes got wide because she knew what this meant. “Are we really going?” She asked and Trevor nodded his head. As soon as she had mentioned it last week he made a mental note to see if there were any places around where she could go see butterflies up close. Eventually he had landed on this place and decided it would be fun for her.

Turns out he was right because the minute she stepped in she was amazed by everything in the garden and not just the butterflies although that was her favorite part. “I have one more surprise for you.” He told her as they walked out from the butterfly garden after she got to see everything. “Me and mommy ordered a little caterpillar kit for you and once they turn into butterflies we’ll let them out into the garden.” This was everything she wanted to hear and more. Date one was the success he had hoped for.

Date #2 - Charlotte aka Charlie

Charlotte was the fierce one of the two. It was her way or no way and even at a young age she had demanded that she get called Charlie and not Charlotte simply because she liked it better. For Trevor though she was always his Charlie Bear. Funny enough she was the easier of the pair to find an activity for because whatever meant getting her energy out was what she wanted. He could as easily take her to a trampoline place or go karting and she loved it regardless.

Typically she chose the place though because she was always very vocal about what she wanted to do and surprises were not her thing. Today she had made it clear she wanted to go horseback riding and Trevor wasn’t going to tell her no. Luckily for this one he didn’t have to research a whole lot because she had been on a horses kick lately and had already picked this activity a couple of times before. “Do you think one day I can get my own horse?” She asked once she was all done riding, her eyes looking up at her horse and he could tell by that look that this love for horses was here to stay.

“I think it’s something me and mommy will have to talk about but maybe one day.” That was a good enough answer for her, a smile immediately growing on her face. “Alright, well it’s pretty warm out so what do you say about getting some ice cream?” Trevor asked and she immediately nodded her head. “Can we call Uncle Jamie to go too?” That was going to be another yes and once again another successful daughter date.

Date #3 - The Wife

“Wow look at you.” Trevor whistled as his wife stepped out of the closet all dressed up for their dinner date. Her cheeks burning a bright pink because even after all this time Trevor managed to make her heart skip a beat with his compliments. She walked over, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. “Both girls told me all about their daddy daughter dates this week. Addy has been watching those caterpillars since they got here.” His wife smiled as she talked about her girls. “And Charlie said you wanted to talk to me about getting a horse?”

Okay, not his exact words but his daughter did get him there. “I told her we would think about getting her a horse.” He shrugged sheepishly before holding his hand out. “But that’s a conversation for another night because right now I have a date with my favorite girl in the whole world.”

Mama’s name

Imagine it’s a new recruit and it’s their first day. They don’t know about the kids yet because they haven’t been to the compound orientation. So this person goes up to Charlotte and asks all kinds of questions like are you lost, do you know where you are, why are you here alone.

“Do you know your mommy’s name?” They ask as they take one knee in front of her.

“Yeah, it’s mama.”

“Ok, what does your dad call your mama? Does he use her name?”

“Yup.” Lottie nods and smiles. “Is Sugah.”

The recruit sighs. “Do you have a grandpa? What does he call your mama?”

“Gwandpa says kitten. Is so cute.” Lottie’s nose scrunches up when she smiles.

The recruit smiles softly and looks around to see if there’s anyone that might know anything about a kid at the compound.

“Ok why don’t we go to the office over there,” they point to the main building. “And we can try and find your mama. That way you aren’t lost.”

Charlotte furrows her brows, confused because she isn’t lost.

“Am not wost. Am with mama.”

“Charlotte.” Just then you call out to her and she runs into your open arms. “What’s going on here?” You ask her but look straight at the recruit.

“Ma’am I’m sorry, I saw her here by herself and thought she was lost. I was only trying to get her back to a family member.”

“Is that right?”

“Yeah mama. Is so nice.” Lottie digs into the pocket of her jeans and pulls out a small gold star. “Is fo’ you.” She holds it out and places it on the recruit’s uniform.

“Thank you.” You tell the recruit before turning and walking towards the training fields.

“Mama what’s your name?”

“My name is name is Y/N.”

“Oh, I wike mama better.”

“Me too sweet Angel.”

"Oh my God! Show me the ring!" Madi squealed over the face time call between the cast of Jatp plus you and Carrolynn You guys told Charlie's family yesterday also over a face time call.

"Here!" You lifted your hand to be in view of the camera.

"Congratulations!" Jeremy smiled.

"The ring is so pretty!" Carolyn told you.

"I know! And Charlie proposed on the dock!!" You gushed to the ladies in the face time.

"Simp!" Dale shouted from behind you.

"I didn't even know you knew what that meant cause your so old." You teased.

"I'm 28!" He kicked you lightly as he walked away with Carter.

"Was that your brother?" Savannah asked.

"Cousin." You told her.

"Ah. So when is the wedding?" She asked smiling.

"Uh we haven't picked a date yet." Charlie answered.

"Ah."

"Y/n! Did you brothers try to kill him?" Owen asked smirking. You had told Owen how protective your brothers and cousin could be.

"No! We're planning his murder right now!" Gavin shouted.

"Way too many!" Your dad answered before you as he walked behind the couch holding Koa.

"Dad I thought you hated dogs?"

"You saw nothing." He said leaving again.

"I'm afraid he might steal Koa from me." Charlie sighed.

"Definitely." Jeremy agreed.

"Okay well we have to go help but we'll talk to you guys later bye!" Charlie excused the two of you.

Your mom frowned looking at you. You and Charlie were just about to start your drive back to LA. The car was packed, Koa was in his carrier in the backseat, and you were saying goodbye to your family.

"Bye mom." You hugged her. "I'll see you for Thanksgiving I promise."

"Okay I love you, call when you get home please." She told you.

"You better take care of her or we're gonna make a trip to LA." Dale told Charlie quietly motioning to Theodore and Gavin.

"Wouldn't want it any other way. It was nice meeting you three."

"You too." Gavin smiled. "Welcome to the family." He hugged Charlie patting his back.

"Thanks man."

"I'll be happy to call you my brother-in-law." Theodore smiled. "But dale was being serious earlier."

"I got it."

"Hey man. Take care okay?" Your dad bid him goodbye with a hug and a handshake, before turning to you. "Bye sweetheart, be careful okay? Drive safely. Call us when you get home or when you stop." He smiled softly before he hugged you and placed a kiss on your forehead. You gave him one on his cheek and another squeeze.

"Bye name twin!" Charlie hugged you sister.

"Bye." She joked before hugging you.

Soon all of the hugs and goodbyes were said. You got in the car which had been running since Koa was in the car. Charlie got in the drivers side and began to pull down the gravel driveway.

"I told you your family would love me."

"Yeah." You smiled. "I love you."

"Je t'aime aussi." (I love you too)
