Action Report: Finally Capturing SCP-4666

On 2018, it was coming close to Christmas and Site Director Eto was getting tired of the Foundation's constant chase for SCP-4666. As such he put in a request to form his own personal task force to have SCP-4666 contained once and for all. He had his request sent directly to the O5 Council, which was risky as they normally don't focus on anomalies with low casualty or media exposure risks. Though to his surprise they accepted and gave him until December 21st to have a team and plan formed to contain SCP-4666. This led to the utilization of Mobile Task Force Zeus-1 "Conduits" Division "Elementals". 

For the operation Captain Delsin Rowe along with four of his units Code Names: Fire, Lightning, Steel, and Ice. None of them are given anything more than standard Foundation suits and armor. That December by order of Site Director Eto and with the approval of the entirety of the Ethics Committe and almost an entire 1/4th of the Administrative Staff the operation was a go. Foundation observation staff on the moon were monitoring every satellite in the sky for the slightest hint at SCP-4666 activity until finally he showed up. Once they were sure it was a house targeted for attack Captain Rowe and his team were deployed immediately.

SCP-4666 was outside the house and only seconds away from breaking in, he drooled as he was sure this last one of the nights was going to be the best. Though before he entered, he was reminded of that one last night where he had to fight those fucking abominations. He growled in anger as he was reminded of that horrible night and how he almost lost everything. His sacred goal, his fun, his duty, all of it could have been gone because of those fucking freaks. He busted the door down in anger and rushed in hoping to quickly get to work to get the frustration.

"Yo! What's up freak?" The Yule Man looked at the human leaning on the living room table. He scoffed and ran towards the human but suddenly the human raised his hand and a ball of fire hit him in the stomach. Suddenly he went flying out of the house and landed hard into the cold hard grown and some snow. Suddenly he found himself surrounded by four other humans. He tried getting up but suddenly his arms and legs were covered and filled with chilling ice. It wasn't just growing over his flesh but freezing his blood, his muscles, his very bones. He screamed in pain or at least tried to but his tonged suddenly was incinerated by a thousand bolts manifesting in his mouth. 

"Heh, well that was easy, hey Delsin, looks like another job well-" The Yule Man refused to accept this so he broke his hand out of the ice leaving nothing but broken bones. His hand regenerated instantly so he punched the soldier with enough force to break every bone in their body. As they went flying the other next to him tried to retaliate but the Yule Man was superior in speed and bashed their head into the ground. Suddenly the Yule Man had metal rods infused into his skin and in the next second he was hit with lighting strikes. 

The current of lighting followed through the rods in his body frying every single cell in his body. He would have accepted defeat at that point if he was a lesser being, but he was nothing like his master. He would be the one to bring the true meaning of Christmas to the entire world by blanketing the entire world in snow. To achieve such a noble goal, pain like this was nothing but an obstacle to be crushed. These annoying naught adults were no different. 

He slammed his fists onto the ground sending shockwaves through the ground and his scorched body. The result made snow and ash fly in the air making the two remaining humans blinded by it all. He punched one in the stomach hard enough to break every bone in their body. He tried punching the other but a large wall of pure steel making him break his fist on impact. Suddenly the wall flew towards him and landed on him, crushing him on the ground and shattering half the bones in his body. 

The metal on top of him started heating up and quickly melting into molten steel causing it to melt over him. The molten metal was flowing like lava giving him no chance of escape and no way of resisting. He couldn't imagine feeling pain any worse than what he was feeling right now but he knew he could just shake off the molten steel eventually. Or that was what he thought but it suddenly started cooling down and freezing up so quickly by a sudden wave of cold ice. 

The ice froze everything to the point that the steel turned hard again and froze together before any of it could break by the sudden change in temperature. Now he was completely trapped unable to break free at all as the steel melted on to his very bones preventing him from moving even a millimeter. 

"Ugh, okay I think he's actually contained this time."

"Gya! Fuck this fuck face he broke every part of my fucking spine!"

"You got off easy, you know how fucking painful it is to have your own skull break into your brain." The Yule Man could hear everything they were saying and started growling in anger. His muscles were destroyed by the molten metal from earlier, but he could still move his bones. The metal was clearly bending and breaking by his movements even if ever so slightly. 

"What the fuck?! He can still move?!"

"All of you get out of here, get those kids in the back to the nearest Foundation Area. I'll take care of the Christmas freak."

"God it boss."

"Show him what your made of Delson!" The Yule Man broke his arm out of the metal while he heard the four other adults leaving and one more approaching to continue the fight. He was enraged by this; how dare they perceive him as such a light threat. He was the one who could cover the world in snow, they should fear him as they were the naughty ones that would feel his wrath. He would make them regret retreating by ripping his new human to pieces. He finally broke out of the metal thought bits of the metal was still melted onto his body. 

It hurt a lot, but he smiled as the metal pits hanged off of his body like bits of blades and armor that fit naturally on his body. Perhaps he could get used to this new form of his and use it to more effectively kill the naughtiest of the world starting with the smirking brat in front of him. He was angered by him but since it was just one human, he didn't let it bother him too much. Even if he had magic like the others did, he could crush him if he was all by himself.

"Huh, so you're the Yule Man or whatever. Woah the others really did a number on you. You know I would feel bad for your right now if you weren't a child murderer."

"... You clearly can't comprehend my great work."

"Pfft! Great work?! That's a load of shit, what GREAT work could possibly involve torturing kids on every Christmas? You know I knew a woman who talked about saving people by imprisoning them all. You wanna know what happened to her?"

"If I had to guess, the same thing I'm about to do to you!"

"Hmph, no, it's actually what I'm about to do to you." The Yule Man frowned in anger at this cocky brat and charged at him ready to tear him to pieces. But suddenly his body was engulfed in flames, then in ice, then struct by a thousand bolts, then covered in burning neon, then sliced up by virtual blades, then stabbed by thousands of concrete blades, finally his body was filled to the brim with oil making him bloat like a balloon and his skin was covered with napalm. After a single bolt from Delson's finger he exploded, the resulting explosion was powerful enough to destroy the entire area. It was only thanks to Delson absorbing all the entire and smoke was that no humans or wildlife in the area were hurt. 

Now all that was left of the Yule Man was a smoldering skeleton that fell to its knees. The pain it felt was unimaginable, it couldn't speak, it couldn't move, it couldn't even think. Delson walked up to the Yule Man and waved his hand around just to be sure it was unable to move. Though it did twitch a little to show it was still alive and capable of regeneration.

"Huh so even that didn't kill you... Not that I wanted too, the higher ups wouldn't let me hear the end if I did that. But still, I heard what you regularly do to children you fucking piece of shit. You deserve a lot worse than that. But you know what, I'm satisfied that with this. Besides, once your locked up in a cage you'll be the Foundation's toy." The Yule Man couldn't let it end like this, once the people with the three arrows got him that would be the end. He had to activate his ring to get a portal, if he could just make a portal, he would be free. But suddenly his had was covered in ice.

"Yeah, we heard about the ring form the last attempt to kidnap you. I honestly can't believe you never once considered bolstering up your own defenses or just quitting entirely so we couldn't get you. You really are a cocky asshole; but hey, Karma's a bitch, am I right?" Delson then kicked the Yule Man in the face.

The Yule Man woke up in a large room with seemingly no escape, he quickly panicked and tried manifesting a portal but for some reason nothing manifested no matter what he tried.

"Don't bother. The walls have been infused with a type of cement that nullify spatial anomalies like portals. It's also coated with an indestructible metal; you can't escape no matter what you do." The Yule Man was horrified now he was trapped for real, and this meant that so long as he was trapped here his goals would be hindered to near impossible. However, he stopped for a moment then smiled and looked up to the ceiling. He wasn't sure how those watching over him could see him, there wasn't any cameras after all. Though he could see speaker, just no cameras. 

"You really should have killed me, now you will be wasting resources trying to keep me contained which you will ultimately fail at! I know you! The jailers! You will fail and I will be there to laugh and mock you! You can't kill me! So long as I have this ring I will live forever, and you will rot while I thrive! Time is one my side! You should have taken the ring you naughty brats! Now you can never kill me!"

"... Hahaha... Oh SCP-4666, we don't want to kill you." Suddenly one of the walls started moving up, revealing a new room on the other side. 

"But in a few seconds, you're really going to wish that we did." The room was fully exposed to the room the Yule Man was in. He looked in and couldn't see anything in the dark room, though he could hear pathetic weeping. Suddenly a tall man that looked smaller and weaker than him walked forward into the light allowing the Yule Man to see him in confusion. In the next second they met eyes and SCP-096 screamed as he charged.

LGBTQ+ Themes in Greek Mythology

I'm no Greek Mythology expert i don't have any professional qualifications whatsoever(tho when i go to college imma minor in classics with a bio major but you don't care sorry :'(

i'm just a nerd who spends way too much time researching/reading a million books(calling all PJO fans/riordanverse in general i'm a fan too)on greek mythology(btw any of you read song of achilles, that shit broke my heart but i can't help it i just love greek mythology adaptations so fucking much)

these aren't in order i don't have a particular timeline but i think it's important to discuss lgbtq+ themes in greek mythology in SOME CAPACITY especially with something called ERASURE I SAID GREECE WAS GAY YALL but the greeks were more sexually fluid so they don't really have labels for this the same way we do and the way we defined their sexuality is not how we define it but this is most likely how it would've translated in the modern world and it's still important because seeing lgbtq+ figures in ancient cultures proves their existence and that we're here and queer, I can't do everyone here so i might do a part 2 if yall want

*Zeus did have like maybe 1 or 2 male lovers, the most notable ganymede but like Zeus is an asshole he's not cool enough to be queer so no i'm not going in depth about him AT ALL

1. Apollo

we all know Apollo, god of: music, poetry, healing, sun/light, archery, prophecy

but also he's THE bisexual icon(there are other gods like Hermes and Dionysus notable for male lovers I said Hermes was pan in like he was literally the god pan at one point and he's pansexual) but Apollo has the most male lovers out of any god and he does have a fuckton of female lovers(not nearly as many as zeus tho, no one gonna surpass him) Apollo is also depicted to be extremely hot no pun intended but also having a rather feminine appearance

some of his famous same sex lovers include:

Hyacinthus(this one my fav)- so fucking tragic got turned into the hyacinth plant

Admetus- no tragic end for Admetus unfortunately Admetus is a...straight-ie(I usually only call the cringe straights straighties but i'm just in pain in how Apollo hopelessly pines over him)

2. Hermaphroditus

This god was the son of Hermes and Aphrodite(please don't ask how THAT happened it just did)

Hermaphroditus is intersex, he's the god of intersex people, a symbol of androgyny and is the reason why intersex animals like snails(they have male & female reproductive parts) are called "Hermaphrodites"

The story is Hermaphroditus was just chilling in a body of water when the nymph Salmacis jumped on top of him while he was chilling and intended to rape him and she called on the gods to make it so that she and Hermaphroditus would be together forever so the gods merged them together into a partly female and male individual

3. Chaos

if any of yall read hesiod's theogony or...just hear stuff elsewhere, you may have heard of this creation myth where in the beginning there was a primordial kind of emptiness or void which was Chaos and this is mostly a headcanon but i legit cannot remember if they refer to Chaos gender AT ALL sooooo

4. Sipriotes

There are multiple stories of Gods changing mortals gender maybe as divine punishment, to help disguise them/protect them or whatever so the mortals may go mtf or ftm so TRANGENDER

Sipriotes isn't the most notable or even the most important in fact she only gets like a 1 line mention in some author's work but she's important to me

because she has some agency in this story. basically i think what happened is that she(he at the time) saw Artemis bathing(like actaeon but the reason that Artemis gets mad at her isn't clear since this myth is so obscure and it's not certain if the bathing is even the "correct version" or correct as can be with greek myth) so Artemis in retribution gave Sipriotes an ultimatum, she could either be given a woman body and join Artemis's hunters or worse so Sipriotes chose the hunters and the woman bod

5. Iphis and Ianthe

There are 2 people in this one cause 1. this is much longer than i anticipated and i don't think people wanna read that much 2. these people aren't important enough to have their own and their stories are so intertwined that individual sections would be too short and basically the same

Iphis was raised as a dude despite being a woman so one day when Iphis gets married they are offered to a woman named Ianthe. Iphis is sad because Iphis fell in love with Ianthe(mutual) but Iphis knows they can't be together as 2 women so Iphis prays to the gods for a solution to be able to marry Ianthe so the gods like turn Iphis into a dude

so this could be a trans guy with a bi?(if ianthe knew iphis was a woman) woman or technically this could be seen as wlw or i should say sapphic cause this greek i tend to lean toward this being trans guy but i won't argue with your interpretation unless you're being transphobic

6. Callisto

Now greece was very misogynistic and had a high emphasis on manly men. that's why in greek mythology there were so many mlm couples but you can't find shit on wlw there are technically only 2, one of them being the previous one and this one...it's technically not wlw it's awful it's evil but it's all we got

Callisto was a hunter of Artemis who might've been a queer woman. So basically Artemis's hunters say no to the company of men and swear off romance so none of the gods can touch them. But one day Zeus was like "yo Callisto do be looking kinda hot tho" and tried to seduce her even tho Callisto is off limits, he did this by shapeshifting into the Artemis and then called Callisto into a private spot where he raped her and got her pregnant. unfortunately since Callisto is no longer a virgin she had to leave the hunters and i think she got turned into a bear by usually Hera but sometimes Artemis too tired to double check

7. Artemis, Athena, Hestia

Now these lovely ladies are famous for being the only 3 beings Aphrodite(goddess of love) has no power over as they are virgin goddesses who swear to be maidens forever. I tend to see them on the Aroace spectrum.

Artemis was someone who said no to romance and to forever forswear the company of men that could technically be interpreted a few different ways(aka did she like girls? lesbian ace maybe?) I tend to lean toward no she appears more aroace as she had nada in the relationships department(no she never loved orion i'm tired of answering that question)

Athena is pretty specifically aroace as its very much explicit that she has no time for romance and prefers to spend her time on battle strategy and crafts. She is called Athena Parthenos* virgin athena for a reason. I heard her childhood best friend pallas was her woman lover from a random internet person but i can't find any sources for this so take that with a grain of salt but it could be that sources are hard to come by for ancient civilizations idk so she could be biromantic ace maybe????

Hestia is def aroace but also we have very little sources of any kind about her. only about her worship no myths. which is sad as fuck because she's a dope goddess i wish there was more about her

2.Alrighty, read the recent chapter (not the fast pass but the one before) and I have questions

So like, All the side characters are back now I guess? (Also I totally forgot that Artemis went to visit Hermes - how many chapters ago was that even?)

Did... Thanatos and Daphne get together / move in together off screen?? Why is there random narration all of a sudden when LO has Never had it before? (At least that I can remember) - and who's narrating?? Why does one of the side characters need to die? Am I supposed to be invested after RS ignored them for like 20 chapters? (At least its a break from the super slow burn of HxP)

Is this going to effect the overarching plot at all? Do you think RS is gonna try and flip the myths again? (Eros + Psyche, Echo + Narcissus, Apollo + Daphne, etc. Thanatos?)

Also, yeah whats been going on with Hera since she had that Kronos premonition? Why does Daphne sound so happy / smug about Demeters probable heart attack when she eventually finds out about Persephone being in the underworld with Hades? (Whenever RS gets to that).

And what happened to Zeus being all pissy with Persephone and the Trial?

Why are there so many unconnected plot threads? I cant keep up with them all! (It also doesn't help that RS just expects readers to remember all this info after ignoring it - like Artemis going to visit Hermes).

3. If we're being completely blunt and honest here... There's no happy ending for LO. Even if RS ends it on LO Hades and Persephone being "happily" married, you can tell by his past actions that LO Hades will just keep "switching out" for "newer models", so to speak. He'll keep getting mistresses. He'll keep financially manipulating women until they get away from him (one way or another).

4. ok but as a character designer? red and pink are KNOWN CLASHERS. there's a reason ariel's marketing is all in a green/teal/purple gown now instead of the pink one she wears in the movie. pink + red, especially a very saturated, blue-undertoned pink like persephone is, are a HUGE ARTISTIC NO-NO. she needs to get a refund from whatever color theory teacher she had because they l i e d to her.

5. ok but. how cool would it have been if it was trans persephone, and kore was her stand-in (similar to a deadname, but not quite the same) until she decided on her official new name, persephone? if smythe wanted a name-change so bad she could have done so much cooler, better stuff. mtf persephone would make 'becoming a queen/princess' SO much more significant. girl you were already an heiress to begin with stfu.

6. i say this as a transgender man: sometimes smythe's art legit looks like rcdart's stuff. the  weird racial features, the huge hips and tits, the dorito-men? she's cis rcdart.

7. when its the korean imported stuff the webtoons team has to market it themselves and do as best as they can, off the translations, but western made stuff like LO has the creators all input on the marketing (duh, they made the images and banners) so the "Hell" connection is very much Rachel's doing, which kinda implies she doesn't exactly know the Hades mythology or even seems to care if Hell seems more "spicy" and "sexy".

11. So you guys know that famous statue "the rape of Persephone"? I think RS took it a little too literally. While the title states 'rape' its more of an allusion to kidnapping than anything else.

Or perhaps it's titled like that to draw a comparison between the violation of Persephone's personhood, her identity and her lack of agency in the situation.

I mean, when people hear the name Persephone they tend to think of Hades wife and the story of how she was kidnapped against her will.

I think perhaps RS saw the statue and confused rape with kidnapping - or decided to conflate the two. She wanted persephone to be kidnapped And raped (for plot reasons), and thus, further stripped away Persephone's agency regarding the situation (because in some versions of the myth after Persephone is kidnapped she finds she is actually ok with the underworld so long as Hades treats her with respect - which he does).

But because RS wants Hades to be the MVP she decided (for some reason) the villify Apollo (who yes, Demeter mythologically does have beef with, but Not for that reason). 

12. Alright hold on a moment - in some versions of the myth Persephone Did wander down to the underworld by herself (because, if I recall, she heard the sorrow filled voices of the dead and wanted to help them) - and in some versions of the myth Hades isnt even present - its just Persephone ruling the underworld by herself like the badass queen she is.

Also, yes - Demeter was a loving mother who grieved for her daughter and she had every right too - but I wouldn't say Persephones kidnapping was entirely Hades' fault (as the comic points out Zeus "gifted" Persephone to Hades *real Dad of the year there*).

Also also in some versions of the myth of the Kidnapping of Persephone - Hades is noted as a pretty mild mannered God - he is respectful of Persephone and seems to love her (and yes, depending on the myth Persephone either ate the pomegranate seeds on purpose or because Hades tricked her) - there are many different variations of the myth. There isnt really a "agreed upon narrative" by everyone - as far as I know.

I think most versions of the story state that neither Hades nor Demeter were pleased with Zeus decision to have Persephone stay 6 months with each of them, but because she ate the pomegranate seeds it was a kind of rule that she had to stay for each seed she ate, hence the 6 months.

If you guys want to get some more broad details of the myth I suggest OSP's "Hades and Persephone" video - which goes a bit more into the canon.

So overall I would say, yes Demeter was a loving mother who grieved her daughter (who was stolen - in most versions) AND Hades was comparatively a decent husband, despite his flaws. Both these statements can coexist - I promise.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-ATV's essence has been transferred to an updated Q/A-CC device mark 42. This one is designed to not only contain SCP-ATV's Ray Field Radiation but also siphon the atomic energy produced from its essence. This is done to help fuel the entirety of Site-AN where SCP-ATV is contained. It should be noted that the original Artificial Star Core Reactor (ASCR) was not discharged but instead used as an emergency source of energy should SCP-ATV ever break containment or if it someday runs out of energy. 

The Q/A-CC-42 device is locked within a cooling room connected to the main power station and emergency energy storage unit of Site-AN. The Cooling room is outfitted with 200 canisters of Nitrogenic Gas placed all around and outside the room. The canisters will fill the room and everywhere around the room with the gas should a containment breach occur preventing SCP-ATV from taking advantage and escaping. 

Should this fail Mobile Task Force Zeus-1 "Conduits" Division "Ice" is to be deployed at Site-AN with the sole purpose of containing SCP-ATV. If they fail, then MTF Zues-1 Division "Destruction" is to be deployed with the experimental Q/A/R-FG-50 device. 

Description: SCP-ATV is an extremely unique member of the artificially created Species of Interest: Conduits. What makes SCP-ATV unique is that he never needs to recharge his energy by absorbing his designated element. Instead, SCP-ATV can produce an infinite amount of heat, fire, and atomic energy any time he desires. Though this process is sped up when his body is exposed to some form of energy, the most useful being the solar rays of the sun. 

Despite SCP-ATV being sentient, it's quite difficult for him to control his powers all the time and often needs to expel a majority of it to control it. Otherwise, his energy controls him and builds him up into a Large-Scale Anomaly with the size of 200 feet tall and a body made of radioactive molten magma as well as atomic energy. In this form SCP-ATV will find every human with the ability to evolve into a SoI: Conduit and fill them with RF Radiation while also unintentionally filling everyone he comes across with the same radiation. 

Most who get exposed to RF Radiation during a birth of a Conduit get killed by being transformed into energy that infuses into the newly birthed Conduit becoming the foundation for their new body and powers. This process is quite similar to how SCP-ATQ can turn any human that uses it when surrounded by other humans into Conduits. Though unlike SCP-ATQ, SCP-ATV can only do this to those that are compatible enough to become Conduits. Furthermore, anyone who is not compatible but doesn't get transformed into energy suffers from RF Radiation poisoning. 

RF Radiation poisoning is a result of exposure to SCP-ATV and its massive amount of atomic energy. The symptoms include slow but painful cellular decay, organ failure, and eventual death. The terrifying aspect of RF Radiation is that its highly infectious, only modern Foundation medicine was able to find a vaccine and cure from the plague. Regardless, SCP-ATV's ability to find humans and turn them into conduits as well as create an infectious RF Radiation plague has made it an obvious SK Class Dominance Shift Scenario Hazard, with the end result being humanities extinction. It is for this reason that SCP-ATV has been contained at Site-AN and not at Site-AO despite technically being an LSA. Because of SCP-ATV's hazardous radiation it is unknown as to why SCP-ABQ never bothered to attack SCP-ATV or at the very least, use it as some kind of food source.

SCP-ATV was discovered in 2011 within the secluded and now destroyed Empire City. It was filled with great power and close to destroying the city, so the Foundation and Global Occult Coalition mobilized their space fleets and launched an orbital bombardment. This was believed to be the end of SCP-ATV but in reality, it was still alive. Unfortunately, that wasn't all that was discovered later in the year. 

A Splinter Cell within the Horizon Initiative was discovered to secretly be trying to create living weapons from Species of Interest: The Conduits. They did this to sell them to terrorists and warlords to scare and build hate in the hearts of the people of the world against the anomalous and the godless. Though they failed and were all either executed or prosecuted as D Class personnel within the Foundation. After their intel was recovered it was discovered that SCP-ATV was alive and within the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It was swimming towards the secluded small city of New Marais while spreading its RF Radiation off the East Coast of the United States. Though thankfully the Foundation was not only able to make a cure in the same year but also found SCP-ATV and contained it with Mobile Task Force Alpha-1 "Red Right Hand". Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AFR cannot be contained, and all Foundation efforts have proven futile. None-the-less Mobile Task Force Zeus-7 "Weed Trap" has been created in response to SCP-AFR's anomalous activity. They are a six-unit team that are to respond to any online posts, messages, phone calls, or agent reports of local SCP-AFR sightings. They are equipped with Stalker Helmet, Mosaic Armor, and Foundation Net Rifles loaded with Restraining Nets. All of this equipment is given to ensure they are out of public sight and have the best chance of capturing SCP-AFR, though even then it has still proven extremely difficult. 

Furthermore, Mobile Task Force Dionysus-1 "Fake News" is in charge of censoring and redirecting any media coverage of SCP-AFR incidents. This has unfortunately proven the only way to effectively contain SCP-AFR in any way. 

Description: SCP-AFR is a humanoid anomaly that actually has no resemblance to actual humans. SCP-AFR has pale skin all over, no hair, no nose, and no genitals. He has large glowing eyes and a grotesquely thin body. SCP-AFR normally is non-hostile those he is around however that does not mean he isn't a hazard. SCP-AFR normally stalks a random person regardless of gender, age, religion, ethnicity, background, or even distance from previous victims. SCP-AFR normally appears to be watching the victim while they sleep though it is possible to spot SCP-AFR randomly in the day. Naturally victims of SCP-AFR unfortunately develop paranoia, depression, anxiety, and quite possibly other mental disorders. 

Normally SCP-AFR only stalks its prey, but it is possible for SCP-AFR to attack and even eat its victims on occasion. There have been victims of SCP-AFR known to have a limb eaten off while they sleep, be beaten to death in broad day light where there are no witnesses, and even be viciously eaten leaving only bloody bones. Chances of this happening to a chosen victim of SCP-AFR is only 15% but this increases as SCP-AFR stays around its victim. The shortest a victim has been stalked by SCP-AFR is 3 weeks and the longest is unfortunately 2 years. Though normally those who make it to 2 years of being stalked by SCP-AFR end up getting eaten anyways. 

SCP-AFR was discovered in 1880 and the Foundation has been trying to capture it ever since. It started with newspaper articles claiming crazy sightings of a real-life boogeyman that the public thankfully believed was a hoax. However, as the decades went by and the internet was created, online posts and websites started spreading like fire. As such the Foundation had to focus its efforts form containment to concealment from the public. 

It's actually because of SCP-AFR that Mobile Task Force Dionysus-1 "Fake News" was created in 1960. MTF Dionysus-1 is a cyber and investigation task force comprised of MTF units and field agents that are tasked with manipulating the media in any way they can. Whether it be by redirecting attention, censorship, providing fake stories as a cover, or even blackmailing the press to not publish certain stories, MTF Dionysus will get it done. However, SCP-AFR is still a threat hence why Mobile Task Force Zeus-7 "Weed Trap" was created. Unlike, Dionysus-1, Zeus-7 has had zero success in capturing SCP-AFR as of late. Still the Foundation persists, in hopes that SCP-AFR's terror will finally be put to an end.

Tales: Formation of Mobile Task Force Zeus-1 "Conduits" Part 1

The year was 2011 and the entire Foundation was in a frenzy of anger. Apparently, a hardcore devoted splinter cell form the Horizon Initiative was secretly hiding a population growth of a newly discovered threat known as the Conduits. The Conduits were a species of Interest that was created when humans with a specific gene were exposed to SCP-ATQ. What makes Conduits so dangerous is that in order for a human to become a conduit the life force of other humans must first be sacrificed. The second reason is that Conduits have nearly unlimited capabilities regarding their powers. 

Some Conduits can create monsters, others can absorb elements to become even stronger, standard as well as non-standard weapons are useless against conduits, and they are immune to every type of injury and disease on this planet. If the Conduits ever wanted too, they could conquer this world with the only ones to stop them being each other. Perhaps if the entirety of the Anomalous Correction and Protection Alliance stood in front, they could wipe out even an army of Conduits but not without massive loss. 

As such, not even the Foundation opposed the Global Occult Coalition sending out Strike Teams globally to hunt them down and kill them all. Originally the Foundation was satisfied with just getting SCP-ATQ as they thought there was no other way to make more conduits without it; however, the recent news proved this not to be true at all. 

Apparently, the reason the population of Conduits had not been going down was because a man named Joseph Bertrand III was selling Conduits to the Horizon Initiative. There was a splinter cell within the Horizon Initiative that was Pro-Human over all other species. They were trying to unleash conduits on the world to scare humanity into fearing the anomalous. This was in violation of several ACPA laws that dictated that no organization is allowed alter the course of humanity via anomalous means, no ACPA members can harm human lives without justification, and no ACPA members are to expose elements of the anomalous world to the public. 

They thought their work was worth the consequences but recently Joseph Bertrand III was killed by a Conduit. With their source of conduits gone they had nowhere to run, and all their secrets were quickly exposed. 

To save face the Horizon Initiative agreed to have the traitors captured and given to their allies within the ACPA to allow said allies to deal with them accordingly. Of course, the traitors given to the Foundation were immediately assigned as D Class and sent to SCP-682's containment cell. This was done quickly as the Foundation had more pressing matters. Apparently, Joseph Bertrand III not only had his own instance of SCP-ATQ but was doing several experiments to create more Conduits. Worst of all, they were hiding the secret of where "The Beast" was. "The Beast" was the monster that also contributed to the destruction of Empire City. After it destroyed the city a massive abundance of Conduits came from the rubble. 

Thankfully MTF Apollo-1 and Global Occult Coalition's Strike Team-7445 started bombarding the city until there was nothing left. The cover up was that there was a nuclear meltdown, known as the worst one in history. But thankfully the radioactive fallout was limited to just the city so the rest of the world is safe, thought the city has been left completely uninhabitable. 

That was originally thought to be the end of "The Beast" and its conduits but as it turns out it was alive and managed to make it to a city called New Marais. It was laying low while collecting its power but also creating more Conduits. The O5 Council of the Foundation was furious with this but also saw it as an opportunity, as such they deployed personally their very own Mobile Task Force Alpha-1 "Red Right Hand".

Brian Flagg or "Monster Slayer" as he was called by his squad was on a helicopter reading his mission report. Apparently the O5 want to establish friendly ties with the Conduits left alive and have them work in a MTF in exchange for being integrated into society as normal people. Brian just sighed in annoyance; he knew the O5 would jump at the chance of taking more power for themselves. He was glad they do keep up their deals unlike most of the government but he, like most of the Foundation, still didn't like the O5. It was weird for a MTF Alpha-1 unit like him to not like or have much loyalty to the O5 Council but the O5 still trusted him to get the jobs they gave him done. Because they knew that even if he hated the O5 and how they run things, even he couldn't deny that they were the best hope humanity had. 

"Damn... I really don't like it but I still gotta do it." At least if he was in MTF Alpha-1 he could keep the O5 and Alpha-1 units from doing unnecessary killings both in and out of the Foundation, which they were notorious for doing. It wasn't much but even if he had to do it alone for the rest of his life, he would. Brain looked around to the other five MTF Alpha-1 units, none of which said anything. Which he expected as most MTF Alpha-1 units tend to be emotionless husks that just follow orders and nothing more. He was the same as them, couldn't do anything but follow orders but he was glad he still had his emotions at least. He wasn't the strongest of them all, but he was the most human. 

"Alright we're coming up on the destination." Brian and the other MTF Alpha-1 units and looked out the helicopter windows and saw New Marais.

"Man, the weather looks terrible."

"Apparently the Beast is here as well, it must have something to do with that."

"It's still hard to believe the Horizon Initiative was keeping it all hidden and trying to weaponize the Conduits and the Beast. I would understand if it was the Global Occult Coalition but seriously? The Horizon Initiative?"

"They believe that by exposing the people to a 'godless' monster, they will cling more to the religions ruled by the Horizon Initiative for protection."

"Tch, what a bunch of idiots, all they did was spread that stupid virus that's killing everyone. I'm glad we're already deploying the cure to doctors around the world but fuck, it's still a stupid plan." Brain was expecting some sort of response, but the other MTF Alpha-1 units said nothing. Brain sighed; he knew of MTF Alpha-1 units that could hold a proper conversation, but he was never assigned to be on the same mission as them. Instead of talking, the rest of them just sorted through their gear to get ready when they would eventually land.

Brain in particular got his assigned gear along with his favorite case that was almost the size of a coffin. Brain smiled, since New Marais was isolated, their common jurisdiction of using minimal tech in public eye was withdrawn, meaning he and the others had free reign so long as they got the mission done. Furthermore, the Foundation could just deploy Gamma-5 "Red Herrings" to fix the situation easily, so there was nothing to worry about. 

However just as the helicopter was about to reach the landing point Brain noticed a strange change in the atmosphere; he looked at his teammates and they could all feel it too. Then there was a pulse of energy coming from one of the roofs of the buildings, Brain looked at the building and saw four people. However, what really caught his eye was that small sphere that looked like an instance of SCP-ATQ.

"Aw great. Hey! Land here! We got a possible containment breach!"

They managed to land on the neighboring building so that they could go over to the four people without alerting them. Thanks to their Bullet Proof Cloaking Armor all six of them were able to surround the four people. Once they were in good position, they turned off the cloaking and raised their rifles.

"Freeze put your hands up!"

"Put your hands up now!"

"Put them up or we will shoot!" Zeke was the first to put his hands up, Cole did the same, then Kou but not Nix, she tried to get away. She would have succeeded but one of the MTF Alpha-1 units grabbed her and threw her to the ground. She grunted in anger and raised her hands in the air as she got up. Brain then looked at the mechanical device and was actually surprised.

"Hey, that's not a ray sphere. what the hell is that?"

"You know what a ray sphere is?"

"I'm asking the questions, answer. What is that?"

"... It's called the RFI, it's supposed to take away the powers of the Beast."

"Holy shit..."

"But it will also kill us! It will kill all conduits!"

"Shut up and keep your hands up!" One of the MTF Alpha-1 units next to Kou was getting aggravated at her.  

"Wait please listen to me, if you use it the RFI will wipe out all conduits!"

"Hey! It will also cure the everyone who has the plague!"

"Zeke, we don't know that."

"That's right! There's not guarantee it will cure the plague, but if we use the Beast, it's a guarantee that at least the Conduits will survive!"

"At the cost of billions! Don't listen to her and take the RFI help us charge it up!"

"Please! At least this way some people will survive!"

"Argh! Shut up all of you! Fucking Christ, you argue like school kids! First of all, our mission was to ensure the protection of the Conduits so we're not going to kill any of you! And if that RFI thing will kill you all then we're definingly not going to activate it."

"Oh, thank god!"

"Hey wait! What about the plague! Without the RFI me and millions of others will perish! Haven't you seen the news the Beast spread the plague all throughout the coast and its already killing thousands."

"We know that's why we've already administered the cure to local hospitals. Those deaths will stop within a week."

"Wha- wait you guys have a cure?"

"Uh well yeah I got a personal reserve just in case, but I can lend you one." Brian got out a vial of the cure but one of the other MTF Alpha-1 units grabbed his wrist to stop him.

"There's no reason to waist resources on a civilian."

"Are you serious? It's just one vial."

"Our mission is to gain the cooperation of the Conduits and contain the Beast, nothing else." Cole then lowered his arms and stood in front of them.

"Hey asshole, you want my cooperation? Cure my friend!" The MTF Alpha-1 units remained silent, so Brain forced his wrist out of their grip and gave it to Zeke. 

"Uh, do I drink it or..."

"It has an injector on the black end, just press it into your arm and it will inject the cure painlessly."

"Oh, so its painless?"

"... I mean, mostly?" Zeke just looked at Brain concerned to which Brain just raised his arms while shrugging. Zeke then sighed in annoyance and pressed the injector end of the vial into his arm and sure enough the cure entered his body. He did end up crouching in pain as he started coughing, Cole quickly went to him to help. However, Zeke got back up quickly and looked healthier than ever. 

"Holy crap... I feel like I just had the best night of my life with the most beautiful woman in the world!" Cole started laughing joyfully as he and Zeke hugged in celebration to Zeke being cured. Brain was happy for them, but he knew that both his teammates and superiors were getting impatient. 

"Ahem! Now that we've ensured you don't need the RFI to cure those with the plague, I assume this means we have your cooperation." Cole let go of Zeke and faced the MTF Alpha-1 units again. 

"Yeah, it does. Though I would feel more cooperative if your boys would stop pointing their guns right at our faces." Brian signaled to the MTF Alpha-1 units, so they lowered their guns, Nix then stepped forward to speak up. 

"But don't we still need the RFI to kill the beast?"

"Well, I mean if our reports are correct, we can actually kill the beast without the RFI."

"Wait really?!"

"Well of course! But-"

"Perfect!" Kou then used her ice to blast the RFI destroying it entirely, everyone was left speechless and Brain in particular was silent with anger. 

"... But it's not a 100% guarantee, so maybe we should keep it just in case... That's- That's what I was going to say before you destroyed it." Nix, Zeke, Cole, Brian, and the other MTF Alpha-1 units looked at Kou in disappointment. She just looked down in shame thought she wasn't really willing to apologize either. 

"I-"

"Forget it, the Beast is tough but not indestructible. We just need to get it to show up and then rip it apart. Afterwards once the Conduit inside is exposed we just kill him and its game over."

"But what if he just tries to put himself back together. He told me that's how he was able to become the Beast in the first place."

"We got a weapon that can trap him forever." Brain then nodded to one of the MTF Alpha-1 units and the put down a case that was handing on their back. Once it was on the ground, they opened it up and inside was a strange cannon looking device that was quite similar to a gumball machine in appearance. 

"Say hello to the Q/A-CC-41. A revolutionary device that was specifically designed to entrap monsters of pure energy, they can blast as much energy as they want or split down the smallest atom, nothing can escape form it. Trust me when I say, once he gets absorbed by this he'll never get out." 

"You sure you can keep something that large in a device that small?"

"Like I said we gotta rip him apart first. Get rid of that molten magma body of his, then once it's just him we keep firing until he's nothing but bits of energy. That's when we'll activate the device. Though we'll have to do it fast before he rebuilds himself again."

"Sounds like a plan I'm in!" Nix was quick to join in then Cole, Zeke, and Kou agreed as well. 

"Alright, so first thing's first. Where is the Beast?"

"Hey come in!" Zeke's radio then went off, so he answered it.

"What's up Rosco? Over."

"The Beast just showed up near the coast! You guys done with the RFI yet?" Everyone then either looked at Kou in either awkward silence or silent anger. 

"Uh... change of plans. We're going to have to do this the old fashion way. Beat that son of a bitch till he's down for good."

"What?! Oh, goddamn it! Did Nix break it?!" Nix then crossed her arms in anger.

"Uh, no... Look it's not important! You said the Beast is at the Coast?!"

"Yeah, he's heading towards a Substation! I'm sending my boys to go and hold him off!" Brain then walked over to Zeek and grabbed the radio.

"Negative, don't do that, get your boys out of there but keep firing. Lure the Beast to the town."

"Who is this? Also lead it to the town, are you crazy?!"

"Listen! We got something better than the RFI just lure it to the town, and we get this nightmare to end forever!" Brain then handed Zeke back the radio.

"Listen Rosco, do what he says! It's do or die at this point and I sure as hell don't want to die!"

"Argh! You all better know what you're doing! Over and out!"

Once Rosco was able to evacuate all of his men they set up a perimeter of his men along the Coast where the Beast was coming. Zeke, Nix, Kou, Rosco, Rosco's men, Brain, and the other five MTF Alpha-1 units were all there. Rosco looked at Brain and the other five MTF Alpha-1 units.

"Kinda surprised that the government only decided to send six guys in fancy red armor."

"We're not with the government. But we are here to help."

"Right... so what's your name?"

"Just call me Monster Slayer."

"... Pfft, why are you called that?" Brian looked at Rosco and smiled under his helmet.

"Hm... maybe in a few minutes you'll get to see why." Suddenly they all felt a large thumb on the ground almost as if a giant had just stomped on the ground. 

"Shit its coming, everyone get ready!" All of Rosco's men got out rocket launchers and other heavy weaponry. Since Joseph's Militia was gone, they got all their weapons and artillery meaning they had just enough to stand a small chance against the Beast. 

"So uh, where exactly is Cole?"

"He's at the other Substations juicing himself up full of as much electricity as possible. He's got this power that allows him to shoot a full thunderstorm worth of lighting allowing him to really put the hurt on the Beast."

"Nice, Conduits really are on a whole other level huh?"

"Oh man you would not believe." Zeke and Brian managed to chuckle despite the stomping form the Beast getting louder and closer. Soon its silhouette was in view, putting everyone on edge. 

"First rounds! Fire!" All of Rosco's men armed with rocket launchers then fired at the Beast getting its attention as it roared like a monster.

"Ugh, looks like a man but acts like an animal, is that why they call it the Beast?"

"So, you gonna help out Monster Slayer?"

"Just wait for it to get closer. Once its close enough my squad will rip off its arms and legs then Cole's thunderstorm should be enough to finish off the head and torso. From there, all that's left is to blast apart the Conduit inside until we can use the Q/A-CC-41."

"Rips its limbs off?! How are you and your boys going to do that?!" The Beast was getting closer but still not close enough to the distance Brain wanted. Which was bad since it raised its arms to activate an atomic blast at them. 

"Ugh goddamn it, that impatient bastard!" One of the MTF Alpha-1 units then grabbed Brain by the shoulder.

"We don't have a choice, Monster Slayer! We're moving in!"

"Yeah, way ahead of you! Let get this son of a bitch!" The six MTF Alpha-1 units ran forward and to the surprise of everyone, one of the MTF Alpha-1 units revealed a hidden jetpack within his armor and the other sprouted mechanical wings form his armor. Brain then threw his case of Allaxounium into the water as it shifted into a jet ski with Miniguns on it. The other three MTF Alpha-1 units stood along the beach of the coast and raised their weapons which appeared to be strange looking cybernetic rocket launchers. Everyone was left speechless at the sight of the MTF Alpha-1 units, but not Zeke, the was smiling with excitement. 

"... Holy hell! I have got to get me one of those things!"

"Which one?"

"All of them man! Every single one!" The three with the rocket launchers fired each one aiming perfectly at the Beast. Two of the rockets impacted both the arms, just below the Beast's the Beasts shoulders. They explosion caused ice to grow out of the arms both hurting the Beast and cooling him down, weakening him. The third ended up hitting the Beast's left knee causing it to stagger. 

"I'm defiantly getting those!" Brain on his jet ski activated the miniguns and fired directly at the foot of the right leg of the Beast. However, it wasn't doing any significant damage at all, so Brain waited until his jet ski was much closer. He then activated the Allaxounium to change shape again, transforming into a motorcycle allowing him to drive up the leg. Brain had a smile on his face as this was the exact reason, he loved using the Allaxounium case. Once he reached the knee, he transformed it into a large cybernetic chainsaw and sliced it off of through the knee. Now the Beast was on the ground, roaring in pain and frustration.

"HOLY SHIT! I AM DEFINENTLY GETTING THAT TRANSFORMING MOTORCYCLE!" The Beast tried to get up but as it did the two flying MTF Alpha-1 units sliced the Beast's face with cybernetic swords capable of emitting dangerously cold temperatures thanks to their bose-einstein condensate cores. The Beast only had seconds to roar in pain before its face started freezing up and breaking into pieces. The Beast was slowly falling apart and despite its radioactive body being so hot it could vaporize people just by being close to them, it couldn't defend against the ice. 

However, the Beast wasn't willing to give up as it started allowing its body to break apart but instead of exposing John inside, the Beast rearranged the pieces of its body to make a new smaller body. This one was weaker but the heat it was emitting was much hotter. The heat was so intense that even with the temperature nullifying armor the MTF Alpha-1 units had, they were forced to retreat. Kou quickly noticed this and made an ice wall on the coast just to keep everyone from being vaporized. 

"Ho yeah, now this is a party!" Nix then teleported right up the Beast's face, supercharged her fist with as much condensed oil as she could.

"You wanna turn up the heat! Let me help you take it up a notch!" Nix then ignited it with as much Napalm as she could while punching the Beast. The impact nearly blew her arm off, but her fast healing prevented her from suffering anything serious. The Beast roared in anger just after it built a new body only for it to get damaged again. 

Brain smirked while chuckling pridefully and tried to activate his Allaxounium case again back into a jet ski to get him out of the water. But unfortunately, the Allaxounium started malfunctioning due to over usage. Brain sighed, it was common knowledge that Allaxounium can malfunction and run out of power very quickly which only made the fact that it was such a useful material so frustrating. 

Though one of the flying MTF-Alpha-1 units got him out of the water before his suit started failing to block out the radiation. Once they got him back on land, he went to the others behind Kou's ice wall while the two flying MTF Alpha-1 units tried their best to help Nix hurt the Beast. 

"Ugh, damn it, the fights barely started and we're already in a stalemate!"

"We gotta cool that thing down! Kou! Can't you blast it into submission?!"

"Are you insane?! My ice is cold but there's no way I can make that much! Look, I'm not like Cole, he can get stronger as long as he has electricity, but Electricity is almost everywhere! Ice? You only find that in the clouds and in freezers! Where am I supposed to get enough ice to..." The three MTF Alpha-1 units with the rocket launchers looked at Kou and then at their weapons. Zeke and Kou then looked at each other thinking the same thing.

"Uh... could that work?"

"Wait, no that would kill me!" Brain then quickly entered the conversation.

"Hey, wait a minute, can't conduits heal super-fast?"

"Well yeah but-"

"And doesn't absorbing their assigned element make them not only stronger but recover much faster."

"... Yes."

"So, if we were to let Kou hold the bombs and set them off, she could absorb the Nitrogenic Gas in the explosives so fast that she won't be hurt by the explosion at all."

"I would like to remind everyone that's a big IF!"

"Well IF it does work..." Brain then walked over to his units grab their Nitrogenic Gas bombs and rocket launchers as they handed it to him. He then handed them all to Kou with a look of disapproval on his face. 

"Consider it your apology for destroying the RFI." Kou was speechless at first but then she sighed, she couldn't deny she really messed up by destroying the RFI and she really didn't apologize for it. Brain put an explosive of his own with the only difference that this one was connected to a trigger that Brain was holding. 

"Alright, step back. Once we're a good distance I'll activate that bomb which will activate the others." Suddenly the heard rumbling followed by the Beast roaring in anger.

"Come on hurry!" They all quickly backed away from Kou who was still reluctantly holding the bombs.

"Hey hold on, uh, listen Kou. I know your gonna make it but on the OFF chance you don't... got any last words?"

"... Fuck off, Zeke."

"... Alright, good enough, hey we're a good distance light her up!"

"Wait I'm not-!"

"Sorry too late!" Brain then pressed the trigger, and the bombs went off immediately. Kou screamed as she was burnt badly by the explosions but just as they predicted once the ice started forming, she was able to absorb it and heal quickly. As the ice was getting absorbed, she was not only healing from the explosion but getting visibly stronger. Her skin was turning into crystal like ice, her eyes were glowing blue, and the air around her was getting colder. Once it was over, she was like a mini version of the Beast only instead of heat and energy she was emitting ice and a cold aura. 

"Arrgh... Time to pay John!" Kou then blasted up in the air and once the Beast was in her line of sight, she unleashed a concentrated beam of pure ice. The Beast was trying but failing to swat at the two flying MTF Alpha-1 units and Nix who was teleporting around and blasting him to bits. However suddenly one of the MTF Alpha-1 units flew away while the other grabbed Nix and flew towards the edge of Kou's ice wall.

"Hey! Watch where your grabbing! Besides why the hell are you saving me? I had-" Suddenly Kou's ice beam made contact with the Beast quickly cooling down his radiation and his overall aura of pure energy. As the Ice started growing all over his body, the heat that was holding it together was getting extinguished causing him to fall apart.

"Oh... never mind." Nix then teleported to the ground and met back up with Brain, Rosco, Zeke, and the other MTF Alpha-1 units. 

"Uh, so what's with... Ice queen up there... or Ice goddess, I guess?"

"She absorbed all the ice from our bombs and now she's supercharged."

"Seriously? Fucking wicked! Say you wouldn't happen to have any more bombs ones that maybe have some napalm? or maybe just oil canisters."

"Nah sorry, the higher ups figured only ice would work so that's all we got." Finally, Kou was done blasting and as she exhausted herself, she ended up falling. Nix smirked, teleported up, caught her, and teleported back down with Kou in her hands.

"Nice one Kou! I almost forgive you for destroying the RFI."

"Ugh, is everyone just going to keep holding that over my head?" At the same time everyone around her said "yes" which left Kou glaring at everyone in annoyance. 

"Well, you did redeem yourself, thanks to you the Beast has been reduced greatly in power, I'll just go over and activate the Q/A-CC-41 and get this son of a-" However just then on all the visors of the MTF Alpha-1 units a warning was displayed showing a rapid buildup of atomic energy. 

"Holy- Everyone get out of the way!" Suddenly the wall of ice Kou created started to melt, and the Beast just ran through it, instantly turning the ice into steam. Kou, Zeke, Rosco, Nix and the MTF-Alpha-1 units managed to get out of the way, but Zeke was badly burned and Rosco was practically scorched since he was the closest to the Beast. The Beast then ran into the city as it roared in anger.

"Fuck! The fucking beast killed Rosco, he's dead!"

"Argh, damn it! What the hell?! How did it do that? Kou just basted it with enough ice to rebuild the polar ice caps!"

"Damn it man, it's just like back in Empire City! Cole hit that thing with enough lighting to fry an electrical grid of a damn whole continent, but the damn thing still got back up and stronger than ever! The fucking thing can keep going as long as it has heat!"

"Heat?! What heat?! There's no nuclear reactor! There's no fusion core! There's no atomic bomb here! There's not even a damn bonfire! How where the hell is that monster getting this much heat?" Zeke then pointed to the sky, Brain was confused but looked to where Zeke was pointing and ended up staring at the sun.

"... oh... God, fucking damn it."

"Yeah, this is going to be harder than we all thought."

"Hey! Zeke you there?"

"Yeah Cole, listen! The Beast is inside the city now!"

"Yeah, I can kinda see that Zeke, what the hell happened?"

"Turns out the asshole is absorbing heat directly from the sun! Kou managed to hit him with a full-on winter's worth of ice and he still got back up before we could use that Monster Slayer's weapon. Please tell me your almost done charging. We could really use your lighting right about now."

"Ugh, damn it not yet, but I might not have a choice. Its fucking chaos in here! Rosco's men, Vermaak 88, and what's left of the Corrupted! Their all fighting each other and the Beast!" 

"Wait Corrupted? I think I got an idea." Nix then teleported away leaving the rest of the group confused. 

"Ugh damn we might need her."

"Relax man, no one hates the Beast more than her, and I really hate the Beast. She'll come through... eventually."

"Ugh, so Nix is gone and Cole's still charging up, and everyone who's fighting the beast is currently dying. Fuck it's my hometown all over again."

"What?"

"My hometown we got attacked by this giant blob that was completely indestructible. fire, bullets, pipes, man even explosives didn't do anything. me and my... friend at the time, only managed to kill it with a whole lot of liquid nitrogen."

"... Okay... so I guess relying on liquid nitrogen is out the window, I mean unless Kou wants to try that whole bomb thing again."

"Absolutely not!"

"Alright, alright, got it. So, what then?" Brain then backed off the group to think for a moment.

"Hm... Cole just needs time, right? Let's give it to him then. You guys are familiar with the locals, right? Get Rosco's men and this Vermaak 88 or whatever it's called to stop fighting each other and help us kill the beast."

"Uh that's a little easier said than done."

"But me and Cole have allies in Vermaak 88, and now that the Ice General is dead, we can convince the rest to join us."

"Alright then, get to it Kou, I'll go and round up Rosco's boys, I guess we can assume Nix has the corrupted covered but us. What about you boys?"

"The Beast isn't down but he's weak, so we'll at least keep him that way until Cole is ready."

"You're going to fight that thing head on knowing it can blow up at any moment and is currently getting stronger by the moment?"

"... well, that things a monster and I might as well live up to my name, or at least die trying. But let me tell you, I have no intention of dying." Zeke then smiled and raised his fist to Brian.

"Let's survive then so you, me, and Cole can get some beers, okay?" Brian smiled and bumped his own fist lightly with Zeke's.

"I don't drink, get me a soda instead."

"Heh, seriously? You're missing out!" Zeke continued to smile as he ran off to rally what remained of Rosco's men, Kou then nodded at Brain and flew to find the remainder of Vermaak 88. The five other MTF Alpha-1 units then rallied around Brain.

"... Well boys, anyone got some inspiring words before we go and defeat Sauron?" The five MTF Alpha-1 units all looked at him in silence.

"... gods damn it I miss Zeke and the others already." Brain then got out his Double Barrel Foundation Assault Rifle and loaded it with a drum magazine filled with C rounds. 

"Let's get this son of a bitch!"

Special Containment Procedures: Mobile Task Force Ares-4 "Contact Lens" will work alongside Mobile Task Force Apollo-1 "Orion's Belt" Division: Neptune, to watch over SCP-[Data expunged] to prevent it from manifesting any more SCP-AMZ instances. MTF Ares-4 is actually a space station and units inside consist of both MTF units and AFA-2 units. They pilot RFDJ-5 "Vultures" and are equipped with their own division of SSQRLSD-32 "Butterflys" to ensure that nothing slips through.

Mobile Task Force Apollo-3 "Cabin Fever" is to watch over the Area of Interest: Moonlight Acres Family Camp. They are to watch over the staff and guests of the camp to ensure that any SCP-AMZ instances attempting to assimilate will be terminated or contained. Naturally they are equipped with cloaking armor to prevent themselves from being seen by the campers and staff as well as being armed with laser rifles, incineration grenades, Shotguns with E rounds, Pistols with N rounds, experimental rail gun rifles.

Mobile Task Force Poseidon-3 "Water Bugs" is to guard the exterior of Site-AN due to the concerning rise of SCP-AMZ instances. MTF Poseidon-3 is actually comprised of Class D staff transformed into Artificial Species of Interest: Big Daddies. Unlike normal "Big Daddies" that are created with SCP-ADK and heavy genetic mutation as well as physical augmentation, MTF Poseidon-3 are further enhanced the genetic treatment of combining SCP-ADR-1 and SCP-ADR-2. It's because of this that they are no longer slow hulks but instead both extremely strong and extremely fast killing machines. Furthermore their "bodies" are equipped with three layers of armor aqua proof armor, shock nullification armor, and anti-biohazard armor. They are also equipped with Small Scale Laser Cannons, detachable drill made of Cold Iron, minigun with E/AP fusion rounds, and underwater thruster pack with several grappling hooks hidden throughout the body, to allow even greater mobility.

Mobile Task Force Artemis-5 "Bullet Dipped in White Ash" is to monitor potential SCP-AMZ sightings and hunt them down. They work specifically in forests and rural areas, and like MTF Apollo-3 are equipped with cloaking armor. They are also equipped with net guns that have both electrified and paralysis venom nets. They are also equipped with Foundation rifles with E rounds, Pistols with AP rounds, portable Foundation medical case, and sometimes a Rocket Launcher with I/F fusion rockets. They act as a group force dealing with the SCP-AMZ threat while MTF Zeus-3 acts as an air force.

Mobile Task Force Zeus-3 "Hunters of the Nue" is the newest addition to the Foundations dealings with the SCP-AMZ threat. After the discovery of [data expunged] which is thought to be a spaceship for SCP-AMZ instances. As such MTF-Zeus-3 typically consists of five pilots utilizing ISJ-3 "Stingrays" armed primarily with I missiles and E rounds. They are meant to monitor, catalogue, and destroy the [data expunged] ships as well as retrieve what is left in the aftermath, so that the Foundation can see how they function.

Mobile Task Force Hades-5 "Cave Crawlers" are responsible for finding underground settlements and nests of SCP-AMZ and either destroy them or prevent them from spreading further. MTF Hades-5 is actually comprised entirely of modified AFA-2's to better travel through caves and rough terrain. They are given shock nullification armor, handheld laser drills, Plasma rifles, and a single Kallivantium explosive to ensure that any massive nests of SCP-AMZ are quickly plugged in without the risk of cave ins due to complex cartography of SCP-AMZ's nests. This is especially useful in stopping the spread of SCP-[data expunged].

Lastly Joint Task Force Hephaestus-3 "Astronaut Samurai" which was created in collaboration between the Eight Wings of Mekhane, Global Occult Coalition, and the SCP Foundation, is to act as a ground force to MTF Apollo-1: Division "Mars" which acts as an air force when dealing with SCP-AMZ instances recently found on mars.

Should any of the MTF's come into contact with an SCP-AMZ instance they are to damage it as much as possible before beginning containment. After first contact with SCP-AMZ it has been deemed impossible to contain a healthy instance of SCP-AMZ, as they are too dangerous. Currently every instance that is found in contained at the nearest Foundation site and is to be experimented with and harvested of [data expunged], afterwards it is to be quickly killed and incinerated. By order of the O5 Council no SCP-AMZ is to be properly contained until SCP-[data expunged] is delt with. All experimentation is to be prepared beforehand to ensure that when an SCP-AMZ instances is captured the experiment can commence right away and quickly be incinerated afterwards.

Description: SCP-AMZ instances are the byproduct of SCP-[data expunged], using the planet Neptune to transport them to earth, how exactly this works is entirely unknown. SCP-AMZ instances appear as arachnids in nature when in reality there is no consistency to how many limbs they can possess, and they are able to adapt to as well as survive in any environment. They are essentially Apex predators similar to SCP-AEN instances, the main difference being durability. SCP-AMZ instances are quick and can quickly kill or "assimilate" their prey. They can even regenerate from harmful wounds and dismemberment over time. However, they are not indestructible and can easily burn and are weak to most poisons. However, what they lack in defensive capabilities they make up greatly in intelligence.

SCP-AMZ instances, despite being able to grow to [data expunged] feet tall SCP-AMZ are able to "assimilate" humans. They do this preferably by burrowing underground and using their complex nesting systems to find houses or building complexes where lots of humans are. When they find a place where lots of humans reside, they will attempt to surface and capture humans to begin the assimilation process. They typically work by [data expunged], they do this process enter the noise, eyes, and mouth simultaneously. Once inside the body they [data expunged], this process allows them to replicate the human [data expunged] despite [data expunged].

SCP-AMZ will continue this process until they have taken over the entire building/house filled with assimilated humans. Afterwards they will use the building as a nesting area and create SCP-[data expunged] to further [data expunged] as well as create SCP-AMZ offspring without relying on SCP-[data expunged]. SCP-AMZ instances have the sole goal of doing this again and again until everything on earth has been assimilated into the image of SCP-[data expunged].

SCP-AMZ was discovered in 193[data expunged], [data expunged], SCP-AMZ was actually discovered thanks to the Foundations already having an encounter with SCP-[data expunged]. The encounter with SCP-[data expunged] happened precisely [data expunged] years after the Foundation was founded. Originally thought to be just a [data expunged] it was realized to be more after the [data expunged] incident back in 18[data expunged]. Ever since then the Foundation has been at a constant war with SCP-[data expunged] along with the anomalies it creates. SCP-AMZ is actually only one of [data expunged] anomalies created by SCP-[data expunged] the others being [data expunged]. It is because of anomalies like SCP-AMZ that SCP-[data expunged] must be destroyed as soon as possible.

MTF Aphrodite-2 (“Plastic Surgery”)

Description: The Scriptures of Rotten Flesh and Cybernetic Bones proved to be a greater threat than the Foundation originally theorized. Due to their many anomalous abilities, including those created through their combination of Sarkic and Mekhanite teachings, they are nearly unstoppable. Nearly all Agents and MTF units that have faced them have suffered great loss. Originally it was decided to leave Mobile Task Force Zues-1 “Conduits” to take down any bases; however, even they have suffered casualties during raids and encounters. The Foundation is no stranger to casualties but that is no excuse to allow it to continue. As such all the data collected from all the previous encounters was used to create the ultimate team and thus, in 2022, MTF Aphrodite-2 was created.

MTF Aphrodite-2 is a comprised of hundreds of the heavily modified AFA-3 units, each separated into squads that are ready to be deployed at the first sighting of an anomaly or location related to GoI: The Scriptures of Rotten Flesh and Cybernetic Bones. Each unit of MTF Aphrodite-2 is naturally equipped with specialized equipment that works best at combating both Sarkites and hostile Mekhanites. Most gear that Aphrodite-2 is still in the experimental stages, similar to most of Tau-5′s gear as such they are considered a counter to MTF-Tau-5, MTF Alpha-9, and MTF Zeus-1 Division “Elementals”.

Code Name: The Black Boned Hero of the Sarkic Cult

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AGJ is one of the strongest members of the Eternal Crimson Army making containment nearly impossible. Furthermore SCP-AGJ is excellent at stealth and escape further delaying the Foundation's attempts to contain him. Though no containment procedures will be made as of yet, the Foundation is to continue monitoring him every chance possible. Should he ever be spotted MTF Tau-5, MTF Zeus-1, MTF Hades-4, MTF Hecate-A, and MTF Alpha-9 are to be considered for deployment as these are the only MTFs that can stand against SCP-AGJ. 

Description: SCP-AGJ is an albino child of Botswana ethnicity who, despite his pale white skin, has no irritation or sensitivity to light. His eyes are crimson red yet similar to that of a lizard but unidentifiably to any known species. SCP-AGJ is an extremely unique and powerful Sarkite born from two separate clans within the Eternal Crimson Army. For those that don't know, the Eternal Crimson Army is a collection of several Proto-Sarkic Clans joined together into a single large and powerful clan. It is unknown how many of Sarkic Clans make up the Eternal Crimson Army but they the first ever Sarkic related force to almost stand toe to toe against the Horizon Initiative, the SCP Foundation, and Global Occult Coalition separately. 

Unfortunately, SCP-AGJ's existence has only further proven their might as he is one of their strongest members. He possesses the anomalous ability to make pitch black bones grow from any part of his body mostly resembling ferocious blades. Though SCP-AGJ is able to make them resemble whatever he wants, whether it be blades, giant skeletal fists, skeletal spine tentacles, bone armor, and even skeletal wings. These Black Bones are sharp enough to cut through titanium and strong enough to repel common bullets, explosives, and even steel blades.

Naturally engraved the black bones are common and even uncommon sigils of the Sarkic Religion. These sigils have the ability to enhance SCP-AGJ's current abilities while also inflicting curses on those he attacks. Such curses include loss of senses, bleeding form all orifices, combustion, necrosis, infection of parasitic eggs, and infection of a random disease. There are quite possibly many more curses but its proven extremely difficult to record such instances without having Foundation staff dying. 

Of course, these runes also enhance SCP-AGJ's abilities such as flight, increased strength, increased durability, increased speed, telekinesis, manipulation of all elements, creation of a few elements, and immunity to most if not all hazards. All of this has made SCP-AGJ an unstoppable killing machine among even the most powerful Sarkic Clans and has made the Eternal Crimson Army unrivaled to most Groups of Interest. Naturally this has made him be seen as a messiah among his people and even a candidate for one of the Four Karcists that will stand alongside the Grand Karcist of the Eternal Crimson Army. As far as the Foundation is aware, no such being exists within the Eternal Crimson Army yet.

SCP-AGJ was discovered in 2007 when the peace agreement made after SCP-AUX was extinguished finally voided. The Global Occult Coalition took the opportunity to go after the Eternal Crimson Army. They located one of their largest underground hives to be in the African country of Botswana and immediately sent Strike Team-2828: "D-Soldiers" to annihilate them. The Strike Team suffered massive casualties despite being a force comprised of super soldiers specifically created to kill Sarkic forces. The GOC reported the existence of SCP-AGJ and that it was him who did the most damage. Since then, the Eternal Crimson Army has been placed on a watch list for the ACPA as a new potential threat. 

Unfortunately, the Eternal Crimson Army is also in possession of several Crimson Leviathans. Because of this they can move large portions of their population anywhere around the world underground and even through the sea. This has only made SCP-AGJ and by extension the Eternal Crimson Army more difficult to contain let alone deal with. Which in turn has raised their danger level as unlike normal Sarkites which attack at first sight, they liked to hide and stay safe making them extremely unpredictable and dangerous.

Some Administrative Staff are considered whether it should be considered to try to ally with the Enteral Crimson Army again and use our mutual hatred of the GOC as a union point. Though for obvious reasons there are more in favor of assisting the GOC in annihilating the majority of the Eternal Crimson Army and finally containing SCP-AGJ.

Anomalous Celestial Body Management Department

Description: Fighting a chaos god is or containing a reality bender is just another Friday here at the Foundation. However, more often than not, said beings are normally at a reasonable size to be contained, the same cannot be said for Celestial Class Anomalies. Celestial Class Anomalies or CCA's are normally rouge planets that could and/ or will become anomalous threats to not just earth but the entire solar system. Due to their size and power its normal to consider Apollyon however thanks to the ACBCDD the Foundation has a fighting chance against these anomalies. 

The ACBMD is comprised of Foundation space stations, and space fleets that have left our solar system to watch over, contain, and if deemed necessary, destroy these Celestial Class Anomalies so that they are no longer a threat.

MTF Zues-5 is entrusted to destroy all teleportation devices, space stations, portals, and research labs that develop similar or more developed tech. Tales: Formation of Mobile Task Force Zeus-1 "Conduits" Part 2

By grabbing onto one of the flying MTF Alpha-1 units Brain was to get to the center of the city in time. It was an absolute nightmare there, monsters, ice soldiers, and civilian survivors were everywhere shooting at each other and the beast. There was no order to any of it. 

"Ugh, I take it back, this is much worse than my hometown." Brain raised his double barrel assault rifle and started shooting at the Beast getting its attention. The two flying MTF Alpha-1 units flew towards the Beast to both distract it and cut him down. Since their armor was the most advanced in defense, they didn't need to worry about crossfire from everyone else. Brain continued firing while another MTF Alpha-1 unit got out two Cybernetic Laser Rifles and started firing alongside him. The last two climbed up to the roofs and activated their Cybernetic Sniper Rifles loaded with extra powerful C Rounds. 

The combed attacks and chaos form everyone was quickly overwhelming the Beast to the point that it was no longer growing but instead falling apart. Brain smiled as he saw the Beast guarding itself in pain and bits of it was falling off. All that was needed was for Kou, Nix, and Zeek to coordinate them all and they could cut the beast down to fit inside the Q/A-CC-41. Brian was filled with hope though he didn't say it out loud as he knew doing so was a massive jinx. Unfortunately, it appeared that just thinking it was enough to count as a jinx for the Beast started condensing his body and by extension his energy to a massive degree. He finally unleashed it all into several concentrated lasers, all of which as burned half as hot as the sun. 

The two MTF Alpha-1 units flying around the Beast were the first to be hit and soon after almost everyone around got hit as well. Brain managed to get on the ground in time but the MTF Alpha-1 unit next to him wasn't so lucky. Once the smoke cleared Brain raised his head slightly to see the result, everyone was either dead as a result or hiding out of fear of being next. The Beast slowly got up and seemingly chuckled as a result. His body started slowly growing again as there was finally nothing to stop him from rebuilding his strength. Brain raised his rifle; he knew that shooting again was only going to anger the Beast but right now he had no better options. 

"Hey! Time for round two, you prick!" The Beast looked up and saw Cole walking toward him with his eyes glowing blue and covered in sparking electricity. The Beast tried to absorb more energy, but Cole hit him with a supercharged bolt of electricity. Like a rocket it flew at the Beast and exploded into wild bolts of lightning all over the Beast. Brain then started shooting at the Beast again mainly aiming for his shoulder, trying to make the arm fall off. The Beast glared at Brain trying to hit him only for the two MTF Alpha-1 snipers to start firing as well aiming for the eyes. The Beast roared in anger as Cole continued to fire his overcharged sparks of lighting at the Beast.

"Come on everyone! The Beast is almost down! Hit that son of a bitch with everything you got!" Zeek showed up with all that remained of Rosco's men though Brain was shocked they were all riding strange monsters he had never seen before. The monsters ran around the beast while the men riding them hit the Beast with rocket launchers and whatever other guns they had. Thanks to the monster's fast speed and Cole still bombarding the Beast with bolts of lightning the Beast couldn't do anything. 

"They're cute huh?" Brain looked to his left and saw Nix who suddenly teleported to him.

"You... You made those things?"

"Nah, but I do control them now, I had more before, but that bastard Beast killed them all, this is my payback! Speaking of which." Nix raised her arm and the monsters suddenly got away from the Beast. He was still being hit with Coles Lighting but found a second to charge up a concentrated atomic blast. Thankfully it was interrupted when Nix blasted him with a massive explosion of Napalm.

"Yeah! Karma's a bitch ain't it ya prick!" Nix then raised her hand and several Ravagers burst from the ground and surrounded the Beast. they started beating the beast around and tearing off bits of its body.

"Nix get them off the Beast! I'm getting a thunderstorm ready!" 

"Alright! Make it count! Hey, you might wanna put on some shades Monster Slayer, this is gonna be a bang!" Brain looked up and sure enough the clouds were turning black and thankfully blocking the sun out from the Beast. Brain wasn't sure if the Beast needed the sun to be directly on him to absorb its radiation but soon it didn't matter. Lightning bolts so strong that there was no way they would be natural in any way. They tore the Beast apart making it scream in pain as it was reduced in size yet again. 

Brain smiled and raised his rifle, after the lighting cleared, he started firing again, now was the time to finish off the beast and use Q/A-CC-41. Or at least that was supposed to happen but suddenly Brain felt weak, and his muscles started to ache like crazy. He dropped his rifle and fell to the ground in pain.

"Woah, hey you alright? What's... what the hell?" Brain and Nix looked around and saw her monsters, Zeek, and Rosco's men all screaming or on the ground in pain. Then they saw the Beast as it was seemingly emitting something from itself. 

"No way! That bastard, he's trying to spread the plague again!" Nix and Cole kept hitting The Beast with all they had but even as pieces of it were getting chipped off, he kept emitting the plague everywhere. Thankfully Kou showed up with what remained of vermaak 88. Thanks to their immunity to the plague, they started bombarding the Beast with bullets and ice blasts. But still the Beast did not stop, in fact it was somehow still growing and recovering from all the damage. Brain forced himself up, and started shooting at the Beast but he couldn't keep standing for long so Nix had to help him up.

"Hey! Don't force yourself man! You're going to kill yourself!"

"Grah! I didn't join the Foundation to die by the hands of monsters! I joined to stop them from killing innocent people! If I ever die, it's not going to be by the hands of a damn monster!"

"You need to save your strength man! We have to take out the beast before it kills everyone! Do you have any more of those frost grenades or something!"

"Forget it Nix!" Nix and Brain looked up to see Cole struggling to get closer to the Beast. The Beast was hitting him with waves of radiation to stop him, but Cole was forcing himself to work through the pain and continue to get closer to the Beast. 

"There's only one way to stop the Beast now, and it's going to take a big risk. Make sure mine isn't wasted."

"What the-! Cole what are you doing stop!" Nix tried to run for Cole, but she was hit with one of the radiation waves and it fried off her flesh. She had to back off to allow her skin to regenerate and couldn't get closer as a result. 

"It's okay Nix, I got this. I am sorry though; I know you wanted to be the one to take down the Beast."

"Cole! Please don't do this!"

"What's he doing?!" Kou was still with the vermaak 88 soldiers trying to shoot the Beast, but their bullets and ice just kept melting due to the radiation waves. 

"He's going to kill himself to stop the Beast!"

"What?! Cole, stop! We can find another way!"

"We don't have any other ways Kou, we're kinda dead in the water at this point! It's do or die you know! Better just me than everyone else! I wasn't good for much else anyways!"

"No, don't you dare say that shit!" Everyone turned to Zeek who was in deep pain due to the plague flooding his body but still found it in him to get up and shout at Cole.

"You're my brother man! I would have died a hundred times if it weren't for you! Everyone calls you a demon but that's not true! It's not even fucking close to being true! You're a hero! Maybe the only truest hero to ever actually exist! Come on man, this doesn't have to be the end!"

"It's not the end, Zeek! Not for you at least! Take care of New Marais for me will ya! I know you say it all the time but me, I don't think I say it nearly enough. You're my brother Zeek, you stuck with me even when the going got tough. I forgive you for that incident in Empire City. I'm sorry I held that over your head for so long, man. But you know how it is with family even when we hate each other, we're always there for each other right, brother." Tears fell from Zeek's eyes behind his sunglasses.

"Of course... brother." Cole smiled at Zeek he then turned to Brian with a stern look on his face.

"Make every shot count, Monster Slayer!" Brain smiled and saluted Cole even though neither of them were military. 

"I won't waste a single shell Cole! This son of a bitch is going down today!"

"Good, now it's time to finish this." Cole then finally made it to the Beast and grabbed its head.

"Hey John! We really gotta stop meeting like this ya know?" Cole started releasing massive amounts of bolts on the Beast and everywhere. This forced everyone to back off and take cover to not get hit by the radiation or the lighting bots. Nix was about to look up, but Brain grabbed her and gave her one of his packs, he opened it to show her it was filled with vials of the cure. 

"Once Cole does what he has to, go to everyone as fast as you can and give these to them!" Nix nodded and took the pack but not before leaving one vial for Brian. Brain took it and Nix vanished, Brain then got up and turned back to Cole and the Beast. Thankfully it looked like it was working as the bolts Cole was producing was growing stronger and the Beast was quickly falling apart. 

"Cole, don't do this! We can still do it! We can still save our kind!"

"Cut the crap John, I already met people who have a cure to the plague, we don't have to listen to your 'hundreds have to die so the few can live' bullshit!"

"You're a fool if you think you can trust them! There is not stopping the end!"

"Well john! You're right about one thing! There is no stopping this! This is the end!" Cole then hugged John and released all the remaining lighting he stored in his body. The resulting Lightning went berserk and destroyed Cole's body and a majority of the Beast's body. The resulting explosion left shockwaves everywhere, ash and lightning flying in every direction. It took what seemed like an eternity for it to clear and when it finally did Brian finally raised his head to see the result. It took a while for the smoke to clear, once it did, Brain smiled as he saw John White being torn apart and only barely held together by tendrils of plasma and smoldering ash. Brian then looked to everyone else to see if they were alright, thankfully Nix was already administering the cure to Zeek and the others. As such Brain injected himself and after the pain left his body he got up and raised his rifle at the Beast.

"COME ON! HE'S NOT DOWN YET!" Brain started firing but John looked at him and smiled as his body started regenerating again faster than Brain's bullets were taking effect. Zeek noticed this and loaded his pistol.

"Come on! The Bastard’s not dead yet! Don't waist what Cole gave us!" Zeek and the rest of Rosco's men started firing at John, keeping him from regenerating. Unfortunately, the bullets and even rocket launchers were barely doing anything as his body was fixing itself. Or at least it would be fixing itself if Kou and the Vermaak 88 started hitting him from the back with ice attacks. Brain peaked at Kou, seeing the tears in her eyes; Brain could feel the anger everyone had for losing Cole. Brain knew all too well what it was like to have your town destroyed by a seemingly unstoppable monster. As such he charged forward and kept firing with everyone else. Finally, John was falling apart limb by limb until the only thing holding him together was his energy which only barely accomplished this. 

"Get me the Q/A-CC-41!" One of the surviving Alpha-1 units handed Brain the device and he pressed it onto the last bits of John's being.

"NO! I WON'T LET YOU!" John tried floating away but Brain activated the device in time forcing every bit of his energy to get sucked in. He tried throwing bits of his energy with copies of his consciousness out but that got sucked in too.

"NO! WHY?! AFTER ALL MY HARD WORK?!"

"Well, you know what they say! Karma's a bitch!" John yelled in frustration but pretty soon all of his essence was sucked in, and he was completely contained within the Q/A-CC-41. Brain signed for a moment as everything was quiet but then he raised the Q/A-CC-41 in the air and started yelling in triumph. Quickly everyone started joining him in cheering; soon Rosco's men, ordinary New Marais people, old Militia soldiers, even Vermaak 88 soldiers were hugging, cheering, and celebrating with one another. 

Brain backed off the crowd to let the locals celebrate amongst themselves. It was clear that people were still getting used to the tamed corrupted and the Vermaak 88 soldiers but because of their shared victory they were able to tolerate one another. Though the celebration would have to end soon, lots of people died today and some of New Marais got destroyed as a result. The Foundation would be willing to help with the repairs but like always they're just going to amnesties everyone else. Brain was going to have to break the news to Nix and Kou as well as the other conduits hidden in New Marais. But first he had to alert MTF Command about their success.

"Command, Monster Slayer of MTF Alpha-1 reporting in, we have the anomaly contained, repeat, Anomaly code name: The Beast is contained... command do you copy?"

"... They do, good work, Monster Slayer." Chills went up Brain's spine, but he managed to keep his composure. 

"Good afternoon O5 Commander, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Oh please, the pleasure is all mine! After all, you actually got the conduits to comply with the Foundation. Now we can begin with the next phase."

"Uh, of course sir, but what about the people? Shouldn't we get them amnestied first?"

"Oh no, Monster Slayer, we already gain their trust by saving their beloved home, why would we tear it away from them."

"What? Sir, what are you talking about?"

"Hahahaha, aren't you always saying we should be more merciful towards the people we are protecting? Well, consider this our mercy." Suddenly everyone stopped and some even gasped as jets started flying in the air. Brain frowned as he recognized them as ISJ-3 “Stingray” the Foundation's jets. They flew out of and started bombing the seaports of New Marais; there were even larger explosions happening just off the coast of New Marais. Everyone was clearly panicking and horrified by the sight, all while Brain grit his teeth in frustration.

"What are you doing?!"

"Covering some tracks, as of today, New Marais has been destroyed by a nuclear terrorist attack. The same terrorists that destroyed Empire City. But now that they are dead those that had friends and family in Empire City can rest easy knowing their families have finally been avenged. Good news, wouldn't you agree?"

"Oi! Monster Slayer what's going on?!" Brain looked up to see Nix, Kou, and Zeek running toward him with concern written all over their faces. 

"Oh? It seems you made some friends, how wonderful Monster Slayer."

"Who the hell is that?"

"Greetings, I am a member of the O5 Council, and I would like to deliver the great news to you. As of this moment New Marais has been wiped off the map!" Nix, Kou, and Zeek were shocked by this whole Brain sighed in disappointment.

"Don't be so shocked, this is great news. Now that the world thinks you're all dead, there is nothing to hide anymore. Because of your services against the Beast, we here at the Foundation thought it was unfair to force you into cages like we normally do with anomalies as such we decided to trick the world into simply thinking you're gone. With that done, New Marais as a whole is no longer bound to the laws of normalcy, a Nexus point if you may. So, think of it as a sanctuary for all conduits, anomalies, and humanoid species of interest. Here there will be no discrimination or secrets among the people. This will be one of the only lands in the world where the anomalous are free."

"Hey what the hell?! You think your secret government assholes can-” Suddenly Zeek was in the air and holding onto his throat as if something was choking him. Kou and Nix tried to help him, but they were quickly sent to the ground by an invisible force. Brain just stood there as he knew there was nothing he could do.

"... The decision has already been made, if you dislike it, then you're free to join all the unfortunate souls that died in the battle against the Beast, I can imagine it wasn't a fight without blood. Your only options are to continue living in and protecting this town as a sanctuary for the anomalous. Or be relocated with your memories erased and your lives ruined. Your choice, and choose quickly, because we don't have all day." Suddenly the wind gusts became stronger, everyone looked in the air to see several SFH-2 ″Ravens" and SATACH-3 "Eagles" preparing to land in New Marais. Thankfully Kou, Nix, and Zeek were let go, and after collecting themselves faced Brain with confusion.

"Man, what the hell did you get us into?"

"Sorry guys, but the job’s not done yet."

Endnotes: 

New Marais has been recognized as Foundation property by the ACPA Council. It is now known as Nexus Point: New Marais, Area Class: Camelot. Furthermore, the Foundation has requested to have custody of all Species of Interest: Conduits within Global Occult Coalition experiment or execution facilities. The GOC representatives were enraged but complied under ACPA orders; Furthermore, all efforts to locate Species of Interest: Conduits is to be transferred to the Foundation instead with the purpose being relocated to New Marais instead of extermination. 

New Marais is used by the Foundation to be a place where anomalous humanoids and Species of Interest can live how they please with the appropriate civil rights given to them. New Marais is the only city where anomalous humanoids and humanoid Species of interest can reside without needing specialized gear, thaumaturgic illusions, or disguises of any kind to hide their true forms or abilities. In fact, any humanoids with anomalous abilities are allowed to use them for convenience purposes. Should any humanoids use their anomalous abilities to fight, murder, assault, or break the laws in any way, they will be persecuted for their Para crimes into Foundation containment. 

Regarding Species of Interest: The Conduits, they were reviewed for possible recruitment into Mobile Task Force-Zeus-1 "Conduits". A few including Kou and Nix ended up joining with their own conditions. Vermaak 88 wanted to stay by Kou's side and Nix wanted to keep the Corrupted and be allowed to make more, once she figured out how. Both conditions were accepted with similar flexibility promised to future conduits that passed the training for MTF Zeus-1.

Because of the nature of New Marais, it is watched over and managed by the Anomalous Employment Division. As such it's also a place where Anomalies protected by the AED can go and "stretch their wings" so to say. Even their families may stay in New Marais with the added bonus of being allowed to keep their memories. Most are even allowed to avoid containment all together like SCP-2241 when he was contained in 2021. Surprisingly in early days of 2013 New Marais was actually where Agent Thompson proposed to Doctor Clef after taking her on a date. 

Several Schools and even a college was constructed within New Marais to help with future recruitment. A hospital and several pharmacies were also made with up-to-date Foundation medicine to ensure top of the line health for all anomalous and non-anomalous civilians. By the request of Zeke statues of Cole MacGrath were constructed in key locations of New Marais including in front of the church at Ville Cochon. Zeke also ended up joining the Foundation, becoming a member of MTF Zues-1 "Conduits" Division "Destruction" but to most he is known as a mentor to Conduits within Division "Creation". He does this in hopes of training new Conduits to be heroes like his brother Cole but also to make sure to put down those that lose themselves too evil. 

The Beast has been contained at Site-AN due to its possibility of causing an XK Class End-of-the-World Scenario. While being contained its seemingly endless atomic energy is being siphoned to provide an endless supply of energy for the Site. Similar fates await conduits that dare betray the Foundation or commit unforgivable and heinous crimes. Though this has been of minimal worry as inhabitants of New Marais both new and old have maintained a great deal of peace. Some even consider New Marais the standard that humanity should achieve if it is to one day coexist with the hidden anomalous world.

MTF Zeus-1 (“Conduits”)

Description: after the disaster of the now erased Empire City a new race of subhumans known as Conduits rose up from the rubble and unleashed their powers on the world. The Foundation had a tough time finding all the anomalous entities known as the Conduits and an even harder time keeping their existence hidden. However, after the [data expunged] incident where SCP-[data expunged] was contained. Many of the Conduits actually ended up working alongside the Foundation to contain SCP-[data expunged]. As such after the battle was over a deal was made with self-appointed Conduit representatives Lucy Kuo and Nix. Afterwards MTF Zeus-1 was born.

Zues-1 is a unique force established in 2011. Zues-1 consists of several divisions, each one varying form the size of a squad to a battalion depending on the conduit and purpose. 

Division: Elementals - The smallest but strongest force on Zues-1 with Conduit Delsin Rowe as Captain. Division: Elementals is actually one of the newer Divisions developed in 2014 and acts as a counter to Tau-5 and Alpha-9. Division: Elementals consists of 10 soldiers each with a unique infused conduit ability making the total population 11. The powers Division: Elementals is equipped with typically depend on the nature of the mission as well as the abilities of Delsin Rowe as he currently has [data expunged] conduit powers. Division: Elementals is typically entrusted with missions that other Zues-1 Divisions cannot handle. 

Division: Neon - Consisting of soldiers infused with the Neon power by Abigail Walker. Abigail Walker has a surprising strong sense of justice despite her seemingly rebellious attitude, as such she is the Captain of Division: Neon. Entrusted to bring down hostile GoI's bases and locations that normal foundation MTF's can't handle.

Division: Video - Consisting of both soldiers infused with Video powers as well as surveillance teams with no powers. Eugene Sims has a shy personality but comes through and values his team members thus is the commander of Division: Video. Entrusted to infiltrate, spy, catalogue, and if necessary, destroy neutral and hostiles GoI's locations.

Division: Smoke - Consisting of soldiers infused with Smoke powers. Due to Henry Daughtry’s reluctance to work for the Foundation he is the spear head of Division: Smoke. Entrusted to fight, secure, and contain extremely dangerous heat-based and fire-based anomalies. sometimes works alongside Epsilon-9.

Division: Oil - Consisting of soldiers infused with Oil powers, the second Division of MTF Zeus-1 made. Due to Nix’s chaotic personality, she is the spearhead of Division: Oil instead of the captain. Division: Oil is entrusted to search and locate anomalies and bases in foreign rural areas. Normally places with little to no human presence like deserts and swamps.

Division: Ice - Consisting of soldiers infused with Ice powers and is actually the first ever Division made of MTF Zeus-1. Thank to Lucy Kuo previous experience, she works greatly as the Captain of Division: Ice. Entrusted to fight, secure, and contain extremely dangerous cold-based and ice-based anomalies. sometimes works alongside Delta-14. Though it should be noted she doesn’t get along with other units of MTF Zeus-1 at all.

Division: Destruction - Sometimes called Third Hand’s Destruction. Division: Destruction is the only MTF Zues-1 Division consisting of soldiers with no powers. Acts as a counter to MTF Alpha-1, MTF Omega-1, and MTF Hecate-A Division: Oracle’s Third Eye. Should a Zues-1 Conduit ever go rouge Division: Destruction is designed and entrusted to take out the Conduit and restrain the soldiers for the [data expunged] process, to erase their powers.

Division: Creation - The labeled name of any Conduit and MTF units who are in Zues-1 but have not been approved for their own Division yet. Until it has been confirmed and approved of what kind of force they need and what kind of tasks they will be entrusted with they will remain within the foundation and undergo standard experimental training.

In return for their services Zues-1 Conduits are allowed to reenter society as normal civilians so long as they wear their Anti-Conduit mechanical spines. This device suppresses their conduit power and ensures the normalcy of society is secure as their freedom, especially since it's easy to hide. All Conduits who refuse to use the Anit Conduit mechanical spine or join Zues-1 shall be deemed a threat and are to be [data expunged] and given the proper anesthetics or if necessary, terminated. Keeping them alive as SCP's is highly ill-advised. Currently there are [data expunged] Conduits that have yet to become a division of MTF Zeus-1.

Conduits still undergoing training are not to leave the foundation even with the Anti-Conduit mechanical spines, there are no exceptions. Conduits with a Zues-1 squad, even when reentering society, are to respond to any calls to service without delay, there are no exceptions.
