this is a very good question... their reactions were all very different. think fight/flight/freeze in a way!

Sanemi

essentially got really pissed off and refused to believe what was going on.

He refused to accept their situation and angrily babbled, commanding the demon that transformed them to turn them back and stuff.

he mellowed out a bunch, but he didn't actually calm down and relax until Kagaya got to talk to them

Sanemi continued being really pissed off and frustrated

when Tengen teased him he did attempt to bite him

he's usually able to get a hold of himself (though its 10x more difficult with the baby chemistry)

but more often than not he does need help calming down. the others worry he could make himself sick or hurt himself

Giyuu

he initially froze and was in genuine shock over the situation

like sanemi he refused to believe it and insisted this was some sort of nightmare

but he eventually realized the other two were in a worse position and his main concern turned into trying to find help

though the second they were safe he tried crawling away & attempted to avoid the entire situation

he wasn't entirely phased when gyomei was cradling them and carrying them to the other hashira. he just played dead

to calm himself down he basically asks for his haori and will use it as a sort of blanket

he distances too, though it can be difficult given he is. a baby

unfortunately. shinobu and tanjiro won't let him

Obanai

obanai was so overwhelmed and horrified he didn't know what to do, which just overwhelmed him even more

he basically just suffered in silence at first

obanai's had it rough since he was a newborn so. lots of negative thoughts and feelings

kaburamaru recognizes this and sticks as close as possible, especially with how tiny obanai is compared to the two

he was really freaked out for a number of reasons, and was alarmed by how weak he was because, again, tiny, sickly baby

obanai was calmed down when kaburamaru coiled around him and nuzzled against him in support

he was also surprised to find he was at ease shortly after being scooped up by rengoku and fawned over by mitsuri, though he wouldn't show it easily

and to answer your second question about giyuu........ i think anything that could be related to sabito or his sister (particularly reminders about what happened to them) would really screw him up... i don't have any specific scenarios but. i'd think it would be something like that!!! a bunch of people crowding him and coddling him would probably freak him out too, since he's used to being by himself

a lot has happened lately, but so far i haven't made any official statement about my decisions and the path i want to take as a writer. it was a long road of trial and error & detailed examination of conscience in regard of my bad habits, gained experience, and goals and expectations. there are some massive changes that i need to address, followed by explanation of my decisions. i know i don't need to explain myself but i feel it's only fair to my loyal readers to share at least little insight into the context.

I. One Piece goes on indefinite vacation...

not going to lie, i was falling out of this fandom for years. it's started in 2021 when i fell victim to bullying and stalking, initiated by a widely-known (and still active, as far as i am aware of) x reader writer. it's the biggest reason for my slow withdrawal but not a sole one: pressing discourse around my comfort characters, toxic environment i fell into when looking for a relief from relentless bullying, forcing myself to write for topics and characters i didn't even like, readers overstepping my boundaries over and over again, falling into a trap of purity culture...oh, the list is long. way too long.

i still love one piece but i don't want to create for it en-masse anymore. right now it's just a wound that's far from healing, i need to treat it at my own pace. aside from an occasional poke at sapphic topics and my fav trio, i doubt it will appear in other way than commissions or gifts for friends. and some characters (kid, sanji, marco, katakuri, shanks & a few more) will never return.

II. ...but new fandoms arrive!

jujutsu kaisen is right now the main love of my life & will remain as the main fandom for long. but i found more series and characters i adore enough to feel that creative spark buzzing in my veins. soon you should see fics appearing for: demon slayer, chainsaw man, haikyuu and hell's paradise!

i'm keeping my head low rn when it comes to requests but i want to hold at least a kinktober open for them so you definitely will have an opportunity to see your faves from those series from me!

III. It's a gender neutral & afab Y/N sphere now!

it's something that was inevitably floating over me and my fics (and some of y'all definitely caught the whiff of it already), but i couldn't quite find courage to put a hard limit. we all know how it is in the y/n circles: way too many people expect from writers to cater to everyone, and treat it as a personal offense if you prefer to play in your own sandbox. as if writing y/ns was "activism", not a fandom activity like any other.

so, i won't force myself to write against myself anymore. i feel the most happy and comfortable when i make my y/ns gender neutral and when i'm giving them vaginas (and sometimes boobs) when i'm writing smut with them. i don't want to battle my weirdly-veiled dysphoria to force female reader out of myself. i don't want to stress myself while writing amab y/n, from the sheer biological fact of being unable to relate via lack of penis, to being sick and tired of the toxicity and misogyny that m!reader circles reek of.

so, gender neutral and afab it is. sometimes i will stray towards afab nonbinary or transmasc direction, if i feel like i need some good gender vibes coming from my fics.

it doesn't mean i will never write different y/ns. commissions, gifts for friends, exchanges, random ideas for a plot that requires a specific kind of y/n, sapphics feels, and such will appear here and there. i will also interact lots with f!reader fics, since it's what i see lots around & don't mind reading, if i feel more fem or if it's from a writer i like and trust.

incoming ino x reader (that i hope to publish tomorrow) will be the last non-sapphic f!reader that will appear for a long while. all requests i'm keeping in my drafts right now will be turned into completely gender neutral or from fem to more general afab reader (i don't have any requests for amab readers rn anyway). unless you really don't want to have f!reader taken out of your request - then please, let me know, i will delete it so you can head with it to a different writer.

there might be a few smaller events on the way, depending on how busy i'll be. there's an idea for dilf enjoyers and for a chubby y/n, as well as many others that still didn't take a clear shape.

i also didn't forget about the kiss event and nonsexual acts of intimacy for the fluff enjoyers!

So will Jade faced princess ever be mentioned in your au? Since LMK kinda goes "Don't trust history" I like to imagine she was just Red's babysitter and people assumed she was a mistress

Oh man I went down a fox-hole with this. I find her potiential as a character so good for the LMK verse. She could be a villain, an ally, a general, or in my personal fave idea: Ultimate Auntie. (One of my fave interpetations is by @harveylikestoart).

So my idea for Princess Jade Face / Jade Faced Princess / Yu Mian Gongzhu is this:

Birth name is Ruan Yu (soft jade/nephirite), but goes by Jade to her friends, and Auntie to anyone she deems younger than her.

Appearance wise: she's a humanoid fox spirit/Huli-Jing with dark green hair, pale skin, and big green eyes. Loves wearing really old fashioned long-sleeved hanfu that trail behind her (mostly to shield her tails without glamour), and is hyper-feminine. Wears obnoxiously patterned cheongsams while out and about.

Has a "feral" form of an eight-tailed dark green fox. She mostly shifts into this form for comfort. Think of the shapeshifter equivalent of taking off your bra after work.

She's a minor royal of a big family of fox demons. Same family as Jin & Yin's (+ Lin the accountant's) mom actually! She likes visiting them whenever she's in the city.

Knew DBK long before the Brotherhood days. They were childhood best friends in the Underworld who got mistaken for a couple a lot (cus "a guy and a girl can't just be friends" obvs /sarcasm). When PIF came along, Jade was one of DBK's biggest hypemen.

Her dynamic with DBK and PIF is essentially an older Traffic Light Trio, with her as the Mei. Green coded, high energy, and adored mutually by the others.

Because of her chill nature and hyper-fem style, people assume she's dumber than she actually is. She plays up her more "Barbie" qualities when she's tricking people/gaining information.

She's ridiculously good at handling babies and toddlers since she grew up with so many little nieces/nephews/niblings. When baby Red got fussy, a little visit from Auntie Jade immediately perked him up.

Wasn't an "active" member of the Brotherhood back in the day, but was a big supporter and intelligence gatherer. She almost got charged with treason after Sun Wukong's imprisonment, but PIF covered for her - despite their first impressions not being so great. She offically left the Brotherhood after Princess Iron Fan and Demon Bull King's engagement.

Was really sad alongside PIF and DBK when Red Son/Boy got taken to the Southern Seas by Guanyin to rein in his emotions. The "affair" mentioned in JttW wasn't an affair at all, but a human misinterpetation of how DBK was helping out his homie emotionally. Jade never forgave the writer for branding her as DBK's mistress.

Is extremely doting and embarassing to Red Son even when he's an adult. She's practically his second mother. Cheek pinching, calling him "kit", saying that he needs to eat more food, sharing baby photos with his friends etc...

The "Jade" in her name is not only a reference to her dark green hair/fur. Her family are Rock/Earth-type demons. She was so good at handling Red as a baby since fire doesn't bother her as much. She also owns a fox mask made of literal jade that she wore back in the Brotherhood days to hide her identity she thought looked mysterious and dramatic.

Doesn't have an actual spouse or biological kids of her own. She's happy being the best unmarried Auntie she can to all the kids.

Will def appear later in the "Monkey King and the Infant"-verse as Red's fave Auntie. Once PIF has "picked up" (read: kidnapped) Red back from the Southern Seas, Jade is immediately called in for babysitting backup.

She and Macaque became friends again on accident while working at the theatre together. She's part of the costume and makeup department, and it took them a few crossed paths to finally recognise one another. She is def partially to blame for Red's flair for dramatics.

Has a particular grudge against Zhu Bajie for whacking her with the rake. Has a nasty scar that starts on the back of her head down to her shoulder blades from the fight. Was extremely cold towards Pigsy before she realised (very embarassed) that he was just Bajie's decendant.

Initially disliked Sun Wukong when they reunited, but quickly it became clear that the the two's more loud, reckless natures bounced off one another. Are rivals for the title of "Best Babysitter".

Spoils baby MK and the other kids rotten. Doesn't matter if the baby is a mystic monkey, dragon, cat demon, human, or demon bull calf; baby is baby.

Takes an obscene amount of luggage with her no matter where she goes. Is "hairdryer in her purse" kind of prepared.

Yips when she's excited/happy. Also chirps in response to Baby MK's monkey chirping. The language crossover of fox and monkey sounds is surprising.

Voice claim: Diane Morgan/Philomena Cunk. She has a softer British accent compared to her related demon niblings. Red Son may or may not have developed his accent from her.

Tell it to the Marines by @tsume-yuki a glorious Ace/OC fic where the OC grows up with the ASL trio and joins Luffy's crew, though she definitely has a few of her own adventures before then. This is the fic that helped inspire me to start writing in One Piece and is one of my absolute faves.

Like. human beings and non human creatures whos appearance can be described as monstrous and also have human level intelligence make a deal to let the aliens/demons have a certain amount of children (to get high off in tw and in tpn to eat, both arguably recreational meanings, if you consider the end of tpn) in order to maintain peace with each species?? main focus is mostly on a trio of 1 girl and 2 guys (with many others of course) with one of those guys dying near the end? (well "dying" in tpns case), in torchwood the british government decides to sacrifice the academically lower achieving children to the 456, in tpn they let the children with the lowest test scores get harvested first and only the intelligent children who could live to twelve (albeit mostly the girls) get a chance at having their death prolonged by training to become a mother? the characters are like always fightinf with guns which is funny in the context of each series (people with guns , but theyre like 11 a lot of the time and people with guns , but its set in wales of all places )

i will be real i havent rewatched torchwood in a little bit i could probably make more parallels but i cant remember any else atm (i wanna rewatch it but it seems that bbc iplayer doesn't work overseas so i have to wait till i get back rahhh)

Her name is/was Cloudy! She's a weird bug-like alien who I'm currently figuring out what to do with because she's a huge self-insert and I feel like I can't do much with her in her current state because I have trouble putting a pin in what makes me "me" so writing her is difficult. I'm trying to make her have more elements of myself and not be entirely a me-stand-in, if that makes sense. No idea what to do with her otherwise! She also has a friend, Shadowmoore, and a friend/love interest, Quinen, a bug alien girl and bug alien guy respectively. They're all equally old because I liked the idea of trios as a kid hehe

As far as "what music would they listen to" I do have some ideas:

The Merchant would like hard-girl-pop (whatever genre Remi Wolf and Marina and the Diamonds are) and Chappell Roan (once again hard-girl-pop and she's also a lesbian like her). Anything upbeat with an edge to it, really. She'd probably also like punk rock, like Weezer or the Beastie Boys or Blink-182, anything catchy and just a bit cheesy/lame (I mean this affectionately). Also Joan Jett and Heart! Anything with women who rock and go hard, really

The Surgeon would listen to depeche mode because they have odd yet darkly erotic vibes. I feel like he'd be into that weird kind of new wave 80s music in general. He also probably listens to horribly numbing elevator jazz (also saying this affectionately as someone who loves this music too). POV you're getting stitches and the doctor won't stop humming along to the "your call is put on hold" music he's blasting in the background

The Paramedic also likes depeche mode for the same reasons. Other than that I can't think of music she'd like...maybe someday I will think up more for her

Q loves bubblegum pop. He'd also like cheery love songs, probably from the 60s or earlier because they tend to have no swearing or overtly sexual themes. She's not a prude, he just gets squeamish around listening to that kind of thing. I feel like Q would also listen to a lot of chiptune and video game soundtracks (Bubblegum K.K. from animal crossing comes to mind as a potential fave of hers)

Jean Doe would listen to breakcore and metal, anything loud with a lot of bass (partially because they're hard of hearing and like feeling the music). They probably prefer instrumental songs over songs with lyrics. They're also very proudly french canadian so there's probably some underground drum-and-bass group from canada that they really like, but alas, I am not super into that genre so I do not know any specific artists they'd listen to...

The Renegade would be a total music snob about her favorite genre...but I have no idea what she's listen to. I almost wanna go the classic "stuck up formal lady listens to only classical/orchestral music" route but I feel like it might be more interesting if her favorite music genre was something unexpected for someone to be snobbish about, like non-serious rap or boy bands or joke/parody songs or something. Starting to actually like the "she's stuck up about the quality of parody songs" concept. She'll put on The Saga Begins by Weird Al and pour a glass of red wine before launcing into a tasteful rant about the ingenuity of using American Pie to create a star wars parody (it's clever and funny on a surface level but it also accurately captures the musical odyssey that is American Pie combined with the sprawling narrative that is star wars, you see, so it has immense dual thematic value--)

Other than that I have no other music thoughts...too many ocs not enough brain space lol but I especially love thinking about their music tastes :D

19. What are some things that inspired your stories? Real events? Maybe a dream?

That's funny that this question mentions dreams because I do have a character who is inspired by a weird recurring nightmare I used to have. Still working on how to fit him into my story as a whole but he's neat I think. Most of my other story ideas are just things I find interesting or messed up or cool or compelling tbh :)

I joined tumblr back in 2016 for steven universe actually! I was also into homestuck at the time so those were my main two fandoms. I still think fondly of homestuck (mainly the intermission though) and although I never finished steven universe I still think it's a pretty cute show. I didn't start making fanart until mid-2020 (I literally only drew my ocs haha) and I started writing fanfic (again only wrote about my ocs) in early 2023

Hokay so-- fave movie has got to be Back to the Future: Part III. I know everyone says its the worst of the trio, but to me it's the BEST. And not just cuz demisexual icon Doc Brown finally gets wifed up [I play her on my test muses] but I'm a SUCKER for old westerns.

TV show has to be Warehouse 13. Between that and fuckin Bluey I can't choose. WH13 got cancelled too soon but at least they got to finish their stories with that last [six episode] season. I write most of those bastards from the Warehouse on @farnsworthed, my WH13 Multimuse.

Fave anime? Hands down Kyou Kara Maou. This is one of the OG isekai animes, within the first episode the main character gets a swirly and is sent to another dimension, where he's told he's the king of demons tasked with winning the war against humans.

IMO best anime ever.

HIIII !!!! i think my favorite headcanon for dakota, at least off the top of my head, is him having autism. simply just because of how strongly he presents those traits in canon and how they're portrayed as obvious struggles for him but not actively demonized.

Out of curiosity, do you have like an all time favorite lee or a ler? Dont have to be from the same anime etc. just someone you really really love writing for or reading about👀

Ooo, that's a fantastic question! Unfortunately I don't think I can give you a proper answer though? Thing is- my all time faves change up a lot depending on what anime/series/game/etc. I'm really into at the moment. I can give you a more or less current faves list though!

Sagiri (Hell's Paradise) ~Not to be bi on main but ✨Women✨; I just adore writing her as a Ler. She's got the best of both worlds: the strength of an executioner and the secret playful side you get bits and pieces of when she's interacting with others.~

Sidou (Blue Lock) ~I don't write him enough. God my Ryusai heart is hurting, I need to make more fics of him absolutely destroying Sae (and getting kicked in the face ala retalliation) akjekjajkrjejr But no seriously he DRIPS ler vibes~

Geto Suguru (Jujutsu Kaisen) ~LISTEN...y'all can't tell me this man isn't a ler. Even when he goes all JJK 0 on us, he reads such ler vibes karjkajkrjke I still love him as a lee but something about Ler!Geto is just EVERYTHING~

Hawks (My Hero Academia) ~Literally BIRB. I love writing Hawks so much; while I usually make him a ler, ticklish wings are just *multiple chef kisses*~

Gojo Satoru (Jujutsu Kaisen) ~Season 2 has made him a proper switch in my eyes. Like- he kinda was already but now we get more SatoGuru moments and I'm pleased :) It's just so FUN to write him getting wrecked akjrekarjkeajkr~

Chuuya Nakahara (Bungo Stray Dogs): Another one I don't write nearly enough of but my god it's so fun all around aakjerjkaejkje Especially when Dazai's in the mix!~

Gabimaru and Yui (Hell's Paradise) ~My soft OTP! I could write them all day everyday! It's a perfect 50/50 split on how I like write them- though I really do wanna write more Lee!Yui cause she's beyond cute.~

Bachira Meguru (Blue Lock) ~Literally a tickle monster- I love him getting tickled and I love him doing the tickling! It's a great time all around when I get to write for him ajrjaejrjkejk~

I'm absolutely missing characters in this little list but these are the ones who immediately come to mind! Of course if you'd ask me in a month or so who my faves of each group were they'd probably be different (except Chigiri- he stays lols) but yeah!

I want your opinion on some of my favorite polycules that are canon or ones that I headcanon as real b/c the evidence it RIGHT there

-Obi x Shirayuki x Zen from Snow White with the Red Hair (headcanon though they're adorable together and even the canon art puts them together!)

Azz x Iruma x Clara from Mairishitama Iruma-kune/Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun (also headcanon but they're so freaking cute together and the canon art of them is the best)

Kieran x Mark x Christina from the Dark Artifices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. (Canon! Though they're a little toxic to start out they eventually have a really interesting and achingly sweet dynamic. They're literally the only reason I read the books 😂)

And my personal fave, PolyHells from Critical Role's campaign 3 characters the Bell's Hells. (Sadly headcanon, but they almost all have great chemistry with each other and it's one the first DnD shows where I genuinely can't pick one ship over the others)

i got an ask telling me about snow white with red hair and it sounded rlly interesting tho, i havent read it yet but i definitely want to!

now this is gonna be weird cause love trio was an automatic entry, but i also havent read or watched mairimashita iruma-kun 😭 i just got rlly good messages talking about them before the other showdown ended and i liked them a lot its like second hand blorbos like liphiyo. i do plan to get into it eventually as well! although they arent confirmed canon all the vibes ive gotten from the asks, the screencaps and the propaganda since the canon showdown was announced Feels rlly canon which is why to me they're very much implied regardless of intention (cause idk what the author plans obviously).

i never read any of cassandra clare books but that was a pretty popular nomination! im sure they're great, and im definitely curious about the books now, but i have way too many unread books + a lot of stuff already in my list

and unfortunately the crc3 one is the one i know the least about, i never got around to starting c3, i actually only ever watched c2, and since they werent nominated idk anything about them at all... id live to hear about all of those tho!! feel free to send rambly asks i love reading and sharing those! and since 2 of those are in the competition (love trio and dark artifices) you might want to do propaganda!

First art post here so that's cool!! I imagine peeps following me atm know who these derpasses are butttttttttttt since first art post, i'll explain a bit lol. These 3 are the main characters of my series Kidnapped! In order- Kristy/Krystal Rose Miller (goes by Kristy, main main character) Max/Maxwell Bone Sharky/Sharky Sharkson Basic plot of the series? Kidnapped revolves around The Trio, a team of 3 demon fighters in training. Consisting of Sharky Sharkson, Max Bone and Kristy Miller, these 3 teenagers work towards the goal of defeating a genocidal immortal cult leader shadowdemon known as Demon Drop whenever he comes back from an alternative dimension. Training The Trio, powerful fire mer Orange Hair does her best to provide The Trio with the skills and resources they need to take down Demon Drop when he returns...Why is it called Kidnapped then? Because Orange Hair kidnapped Kristy to make this team happen and that's when our story begins, with Kristy having to come to terms with all of this... I've been working on this series for years and years and years now and these little derpass teenagers mean so much to me, they literally basically grew up alongside me as i went from teenager to adult lmaooooooo...

so, I really liked season 6 - here's some general thoughts and opinions

I mean, I hated what happened to Tara and I don't think I'll ever get over it, she was my fave - I literally took like a month break from watching after 6x19 because I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Tara

but it was a really good season (not close to how amazing s5 was but still great l)

I loved Buffy dealing with being back, though her relationship with Spike was getting annoying tbh 😂 at first I felt bad for Spike with how Buffy was playing with him all the time, up until that bathroom scene tbh

also, tbh in 6x22 I couldn't care less about Spike's side of the episode but omg he got his soul back?? I'm really curious about what's gonna happen now ngl 👀

Willow and Tara were my fave part of this season, loved how they portrayed Willow struggling with her addiction to magic etc - and, again, how could they take Tara away from us 😭💔

I was so here for Dark Willow, I was 💯 rooting for her (tho I probably was supposed to be against her but fuck it, I wanted revenge too) 😂😂 the show could've ended here with Willow actually destroying the world and I'd still be with her, what even is the point without Tara 😭

I think I'm starting to like Anya a bit more (she's still annoying tho) and I like that she's a vengeance demon again

and I definitely dislike Xander now, for many reasons that I ready expressed in other posts I think 😂 he's just so infuriating, and at this point I'm pretty sure part of my dislike must be the actor, because I saw him in criminal minds too and I'm annoyed every second he's on screen (it's never for long but I hope he stops showing up altogether soon lol - I'm on s7 there too 😂) I genuinely wish Willow eneded up killing Xander at the end there lol

and omg I was SO sick of Anya and Xander's relationship and of hearing about the wedding and don't get me started on how Xander just left her at the altar, and how he handled all that (I have a whole other post about it, not gonna get into it again)

I love that Giles didn't die, I genuinely got worried there for a second, but I'm so happy he didn't 😂 missed him when he wasn't there tbh (tho that laughing scene with Buffy was a bit weird and went on for way too long 😂)

the trio weren't the best villains but also not the worst, they were more competent than I initially gave them credit for and Warren was seriously gross and evil and got what he deserved haha

also, I saw that so many people love the musical episode and it's the top rated eps on imdb, but I lowkey hated it - not the worst episode of the series but definitely far from fave 😂 the worst episode of the season was definitely 6x15 - as you were - with fucking Riley back 🤢 god I hated that one so much, almost as much as beer bad (the actual worst episode of the series so far imo) 😂😂

the finale was insane and I loved it - tho that scene with Willow and Xander was kinda meh and lowkey anticlimactic? idk I was underwhelmed 😂😂 him just repeating 'I love you' was too cheesy even for me tbh, and because I don't like Xander, I probably liked it less than I normally would've anyway 😂 (so it might be just my bias, I admit haha)

tho tbh I also wish we got more of Dark Willow than just, what was it, three episodes? would've been even better haha

but overall, it was a good season, tho I'm never gonna forgive them for killing off Tara - despite that, I did enjoy it a lot and can't wait to start s7 soon 😁
