I am still over the moon with One Piece Live Action and how it had given my OTP justice. Not only was I expecting that we won’t get a lot of Zoro-Nami interactions but I was also thinking that they won’t put too much emphasis in their relationship as Luffy’s first two members.

But gosh I was wrong. They had given us so much more! Scenes and dialogues that were ‘what ifs’ before were given life. We’ve been given a deeper insight on how their dynamics work and how they tried to truly understand each other and how they understood each other in the process. Their banters are peak interactions. They never missed a shot with each other. They are in sync in a weird and unconventional way. They both like to move alone and they are very untrusting yet they actually hit it off, even if they usually contradict each other.

Shipping aside, Zoro and Nami actually have a great low-key, underrated, minimally explored friendship. They work so well together especially when it comes to the crew and with their captain. These two completely balances Luffy out and can interchange roles when it comes to reigning him in and making him listen.

I’m glad the live action gave it a chance and explored it. I appreciated them even more.

@digimon02countdown Day 7 - What do you love about Digimon Adventure 02?

While my attachment to Digimon started and persisted due to my love to the original Adventure, there are still quite a few things about 02 that always kept me around. I have already hinted at it in previous posts; the relationships, similarities and support between the "older" and "new" Chosen Children, the concept of the multiverse, Jogress evolution (also the fact that my OTP are absolute dads to the kids)... But I'd say the most important aspect for me is the bonding between the characters. And nothing signifies this more for me, nothing is as outstanding, significant and vibrant - as the development of the relationship between Daisuke and Ken.

I would argue that, overall, no relationship gets that much focus, that much visible positive development than these two. And yes, upon getting asked, I will never deny that, in my opinion, there is a sense of romantic tension between them too, but in this post, I just want to write about how fascinating, soothing and beautiful their bond is to me in general.

Their initial set-up is, once again, that of rivals. That is a theme Digimon has always been playing with - but I'd say no other series threw that trope for a loop like this before. On one hand, there is the fact that they're both playing football, even ending up facing each other at a point in the series where Ken is still considered to be that perfect, untouchable genius, good at and with everything, while Daisuke is considered a thick-headed knucklehead, goodhearted, but brash and not really talented in many areas - and yet, he still admired Ken at this point. Then of course, there is the fact that they're on opposing ends, enemies in the Digital World, having brutal, cruel fights against one another as Chosen Child vs. Digimon Kaiser - until the spell breaks, with the Crest of Miracles breaking Ken's curse.

And from now on, the boy - who's responsible for his own Digimon partner's death and the suffering of so many others - will have to face the aftermath of what he's done, dealing with guilt and self-esteem issues, feeling unworthy and unlovable.

But then there is Daisuke - the only one who immediately wants to give him the chance to atone for what he's done. He is not forgiving him right away, but wants him to be able to make up for everything - and with kindness and the persistence to not let him sacrifice himself and die, they achieve the unthinkable: Their Digimon combine, their hearts pound in sync. They seem to be connected in ways that make Daisuke get excited - and scare the heck out of Ken. He thought he didn't have anything or anyone else but his reborn Digimon partner and family, and now there's this boy he used to fight, he used to be enemies with... Who simply wants to be his friend, who wants them to be "partners" and work together.

It's confusing, it's scary. While Daisuke is sure that they're meant to be and fight next to each other, it takes time for Ken to feel ready to take the steps towards him, the others, forming bonds, friendships. But Daisuke being Daisuke makes it so much easier for him to let his walls down, slowly but steadily enabling him to show his gentle and soft side, starting to trust and rely on him as much as he does in return.

And Daisuke? Daisuke is displaying a sense of confidence and comfort that we rarely saw before - he tended to be so focused on impressing others, covering up his own insecurities with cockiness. But his bond with Ken makes all his natural kindness and straightforwardness come through easily. He may appear more simple-minded at first glance, but his heart has the right priorities - and he'll do what it takes to save Ken, from himself, from darkness, helping him to be his true self.

Daisuke doesn't doubt their connection for a second - and that's why it's so important that Ken is still able to shake him. That he has an impact on him like no other. He will give Ken all the time he needs to face his demons, to do the things that are uncomfortable to him - and he'll be by his side all the way.

They are partners, they've got each other's backs. And as long as they don't lose sight of themselves and each other, it will always be this way.

Another day at Park & Davis…

The file room- Zahir's newest home away from home. He eyed the pile of precariously stacked boxes with trepidation. “Okay. You can do this, Zahir. Just grab the files for Morrison.” 

The pep talk did little to assuage his nerves, but he pressed on, carefully pulling from the middle of the stack like he was playing a high-stakes version of Jenga. One hand on the handle, the other protectively hovering over the pile. A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead. Just a little more-

“Zahir! You gotta see this!” Will’s voice boomed through the quiet expanse of shelves. An unbecoming shriek tore through his throat as he scrambled to steady the boxes. Only when he was sure he wouldn't literally be buried in paperwork did he take a breath.

“Will- you can't just creep up on me like that,” he huffed, still trying to calm his heart rate.

Unbothered, Will pushed their phone towards him. A paused video lit up the screen. “Trust me, this is important.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Just watch it,” they insisted, practically bouncing on their heels.

“Alright- alright-” 

A simple, yet rhythmic melody played through the speakers. Dancers stood on stage in V-formation, heads dawned with oversized bucket hats. They swayed lazily to the beat- then the song truly began. 

“Missy be puttin’ it down- I'm the hottest ‘round- I told y'all mother-- y'all can't stop me now-” 

Everything broke loose. The crowd came alive with raucous cheers as the performers dropped down to their knees in sync. Zahir’s brows shot up at the sheer intensity of the routine- his heart pumping wildly just watching them move. “They’re really good. Are they from your college team?” 

Will shook his head, minimizing the video. “Nah. Check out the date in the description. This was over ten years ago.” 

“Then why are we watching this?”

“Notice anything special about the one in the center?” 

“Uh… they're talented?” 

“Oh, you sweet summer child-”

“My birthday is in November.” 

“I'd take another hard look if I were you,” Will hummed knowingly.  

“Can't you just tell me?”

“And take the joy of realizing it for yourself from you? Never.” 

“Will-” 

“Zahir,” they mocked.

“I really need to get back to work.” 

“This won’t take long.”

Zahir sighed, but resumed the video anyway. His frustration grew as he tried to catch a glimpse of the lead dancer’s face- their movements too fast for the camera to get a clear shot. The quality maxing out at 360p didn’t help either. Luckily, whoever was filming decided to zoom in at the exact moment their- her- head popped up. “No way- is that-”

“Yup.”

“But she’s-”

“I know.” 

"How'd you even find this?"

Will grinned smugly. "I have my ways. And a lot of downtime between meetings."

Her hair was much longer, falling just over her lower back. In the time he’s worked at Park & Davis, he’d never seen her with straight hair. Forget about the carefree expression plastered on her face- which admittedly hadn’t changed much. But there was no mistaking it, that was-

“What are you two doing?” Enid’s commanding tone disrupted the peace between them. Will slammed the power button, shutting off the video before pocketing their phone. 

“Uh- nothing?” Zahir answered meekly. 

She crossed her arms. “Did you get the files for Morrison?”

“Well- not yet-”

“So not only have you not done the one task I gave you, you’re choosing to hide out in the file room. Is that right?”

“N-no,” he stammered, his brain on the fritz at Enid’s piercing stare. “It’s just…”

“Just what?”

Words poured out of him like a running faucet. Babbling tended to be his default coping mechanism. “We represent some of the world’s biggest tech moguls. Blaire Hall, Khaan Mousavi, a third person I can’t name right now but I’m sure exists, yet we’re still slaves to this archaic form of documentation. Paper. Isn’t that ironic? The fact that we haven’t digitized all this is insane. We’d save space, time, trees-”

“Zahir,” Enid interrupted. 

“Yeah?”

“Get the files.” 

“Right away, Ms. Mendoza,” he squeaked out, spinning on his heels to get back to his game of Jenga.

Finspera. Okay where do I start I am. SO obsessed with them. They'd be like THE top ship the ones I think about the most the ones I could write (and have written) so much about. Fintan risks everything for the chance to get Vespera out. He stands with her in Nightfall, and she seems less...not there when he's around. Their Nightfall scenes are just INCREDIBLE — the whole sequence is an elaborate performance and they're so in sync with each other! Also I have like a billion headcanons about them and just. THEM <3 they're my OTP. They're the tragic soulmate beloveds of all time.

Fintante! Now I love any and every flavour of them (romantic OR platonic) but their shipping dynamic is great. Bronte probably initially looked to Fintan as someone else with a dangerous power, and eventually realised that he was just a very hot and very silly elf and oops he's in love now! They complement each other really well — Bronte is goodness masked with anger and his power is tightly controlled by him, while Fintan is cheery on the outside, angry on the inside, and uses his fire liberally. These two are boyfriends.

Luzpera (Luzia x Vespera). Them!! I headcanon them as being very young when they fell in love, then broke apart (with a LOT of drama), got back together into something pretty dark many years later, and eventually broke apart again to become really close friends by the end. So friends to lovers to exes to lovers to exes again to friends. And yes they're lovers in my head. Also I thought they were way more popular than they are but apparently they're a rare ship (correct me if I'm wrong and direct me to the Luzpera stuff please)

Post-Hoot for King’s Tide!

            Let’s go over the lore (and some fun trivia I picked out) for the King’s Tide Post-Hoot!

         Gus’ palisman is named Emmiline Bailey Marcostimo, after some Season 2 writers (presumably Emmy Cicierga, Madeleine Hernandez, John Bailey Owen, Zach Marcus, and Mikki Crisostomo)! She would’ve been named in Any Sport in a Storm but the line was cut out for time; When Gus says “My way is better!” he would’ve added, “Right Emmiline Bailey Marcostimo?” He calls her Emmiline for short… The original line took up TEN SECONDS of runtime, which is why they had to cut it out.

         Dana mentioned that the in-between realm is “where all dreams form” and described it as a “cosmic glue”, presumably one that holds the worlds together and connects them! Hence the cubes allowing Luz to peer into the human and demon realms, and possibly the force that the Portal harnesses and relies upon to traverse! I wonder if this means that Titans themselves have a connection to this in-between, and if the in-between is ONLY between the human and demon realms, or at least not all of them by default, hence why travel is particularly easy and common with the Titan’s blood rifts, which can evidently sync up through the in-between; This may have been how the Titans accessed the in-between to seal away the Collector!

         This one is really funny… When asked to name Lilith’s palisman, chat was split between Mike and Socks respectively; Can attest that Mike comes from a TOH server I’m a part of, and we’ve had that name for about a year… And it’s short for Mike Ass Fungus. And now it’s partially canon; Dana decided that Lilith would name her palisman something super-extravagant after some obscure historical figure, and Rebecca told us to check Dana’s twitter in a week or so for the final name. But so far it seems Dana is going to incorporate “Mike Socks” into the name of Lilith’s palisman; Probably making it short for the actual name itself!

         Dana confirmed that Belos tried naming the other Grimwalkers names besides Hunter, but evidently he wasn’t the only one to have that name; And yes, Belos was totally the person to laugh at his own sick joke, naming Caleb’s clones after “witch hunter”. As she said, Belos is after something unattainable, even if his other goals were attained; And when she saw people calculating the low-balled numbers from Hollow Mind, she could only cringe knowing we had a BIG storm coming in the season finale…

         Also this is just a sweet bit, but Dana reiterated that the other Grimwalkers aren’t failures in HER heart, despite what Kikimora says! She also said that a tragic backstory might happen but it doesn’t justify things, in regards to Kikimora, who she confirmed acted purely out of spite; So I wouldn’t hold your breath on a redemption arc!

         Raeda is Dana’s OTP, Raine is one of her faves. Not much else to say here but like… For those Raeda fans who enjoy the validation!

         Dana also reiterated that ALL members of the Emperor’s Coven have sigils. While Lilith hadn’t been brought up in the context of this, we know Rebecca was looking at different questions in the comments, so I assume this is what prompted that; So this points us towards Lilith having a sigil! Its absence may really just be an animation error, or it’s elsewhere on her body… I hope her sigil didn’t agitate the curse; But given what Eda said about Lilith not having hers as long, it probably didn’t react as severely and thus didn’t necessitate any amputations. This would track with Lilith still being able to summon an ice cube at the beginning of Season 2, compared to Eda who only had a crumbling spell circle.

         Dana described Darius and Eberwolf as having a younger, older brother dynamic, although she didn’t specify which; Eber is the chaotic one, who always knows how to tick off Darius, but there’s a real bond and trust between the two. Eberwolf is referred to as He/Him by the crew, but Dana said she’s open to They/Them for Eberwolf as well! We would’ve indeed explored Darius more had Season 3 not been shortened.

         In regards to neurodivergency in TOH, Dana said that she and the crew wanted to write with different mindsets and ways of thinking, drawing upon their own real-life experiences; She says she doesn’t quite have the language to express specifically, but she’s open. This kind of representation of people who are different but all have something to offer was indeed important to her; THAT much was intentional at least.

         Adrian Graye’s name is confirmed to be a reference to Dorian Gray! And speaking of which, we have some names on the Coven Heads, with Rebecca clarifying the spelling in a tweet (same for Gus’ palisman Emmiline);

          Dana explained that Darius’ surname is French, and that Mason, who we saw back in S1, actually got promoted since then to Construction Head; So he presumably wasn’t the first head of the Construction Coven, or at least wasn’t one at all until some time after Covention! According to Dana, they were figuring out the designs for the Coven Heads, and suddenly decided, you know what? Mason is promoted now, good for him! I guess Ulrich was a deleted concept for a name, a placeholder, or intended for some other chap who looked like Mason.

        Hettie Cutburn is also a favorite of Dana and the crew’s; She said they would’ve explored her character more, had Season 3 not been shortened… Dammit.

        Anyhow, I’m planning to get caught up on the previous post-hoots I missed out on (all of them), so if you see more and wonder why King’s Tide is out of order, this is why! This was the only post-hoot I watched all of, so I’m gonna go back and scour them for lore!

Especially when it comes to canon characters, I feel like I'm just satisfying my parthers otp/ships with their oc's. And when I try to bring in my others oc's, they're ignored. Usually there’s a reason for stuff like this, so lemme jump to the biggest most extreme conclusion and get that outta the way. If you’re uncomfortable exclusively by the act of playing a gender, or thinking like a gender, and acting like a gender, and feel like you’re just playing a role with no connection to specifically a gender and nothing else... Maybe you don’t want to play/be/act as that gender? I mean, it could be anything setting you off, but this is important to point out, especially with your wording, subconscious though it may be. You don’t have to RP as a guy. It’s okay. Be anything you want, that’s what RP is for. To have fun, and be comfortable, and do what feels good to you. There’s no shame in just saying no to RPing anything. Settings, characters, genders, themes, tropes, even just roleplaying if you’re not in the mood! Roleplay is, again, for fun, and you should probably communicate that you’re no longer having it. That you want to explore other options. I mean this could be as simple as you don’t have chemistry with those partners, to as complex as realizing you may not have a real connection to a specific gender... even IRL. 

Like, I’m not gonna lie, I have seen a large number of people who have realized they identify as something else because they’ve played other genders, tried out the ol’ mental space with RP, and found something that fit them better. Might not be applicable to you, that’s fine. This is a deeply personal decision though, I’m just pointing it out as an aside because some people need that little push to go ‘oh’ and this answer is going to be an open letter to everyone who is in this situation as usual. So hey, it doesn’t have to be too serious, and if questioning your labels isn’t your speed, no issue. Just thought it was wise to point it out, rather than ignore it and pretend it didn’t set off a tiny alarm in my head saying ‘hang on a sec’. So yes, with that out of the way— Of course that’s not the only reason things might feel ‘off’! Like I mention above, there’s plenty of other things, so now that we have a quick ‘I’d be a jerk if I didn’t say this does happen’ out of the way, let’s explore things like chemistry, and why your characters don’t resonate with you personally, but end up seeming to be more for your partner in crime over there. AKA: Playing for other people, and why it doesn’t really work out.

So when you RP a character and they don’t sync with you personally? That’s a big thing buddy! That’s a sign you’re not playing what you love or vibe with. That doesn’t seem like something you should get upset about, we all do stuff that we feel pretty neutral or vaguely bored by for friends and family, but it really really can be draining over time. Playing something deeply out of your personal experience is a fun challenge, but I would never say do that for a long term if you’re not getting comfortable as you do it. You can burn yourself out, by pushing too hard and making so much work for yourself you lose the thread of fun supposedly throughout all RP.

Me? I have trouble with happy, perky characters. I can do it, and I do it well judging by the reaction of people around me, but it just doesn’t feel right. It feels like someone is very slowly spreading me thinner and thinner trying to react against my natural instincts. I know it’s actually another problem that some people feel like they play too many similar characters, but that’s a natural inclination to play something that suits you, so you can give your full attention to the details surrounding that character instead of questioning everything you do. 

Being able to act on auto pilot helps a ton when you want to focus on the important parts, like the plot instead of figuring out how this character would feel if it’s not what you kneejerk understand. Second guessing is hard! As anyone who deals with second guessing everything they do all day: it leads to exhaustion because it’s an extra hidden layer of emotional labor.

So! Why are dudes uncomfortable for you? We’ve got an obvious problem here that an external force (your RP buddies over there) may have trained you to believe that you only have one purpose. That male characters are romance fodder, and have to fall in love with an OC. That your OC’s aren’t important. That’s gonna be a whoooole different problem right there. This is a problem with your RP partner, who is using you to fulfill their happiness. There’s a huge problem with the power dynamic in this OOC relationship, just going by this little snippet.

Your partner should never make you feel like you’re only roleplaying for their sake.  

I’m leaving that line all alone so you can really look at it, and reread it. I’m going to say it again in fact: Your partner should never make you feel like you’re only roleplaying for their sake. There’s various reasons why that’s icky, but I’ll just touch on what stands out to me most. One of those things is that this makes roleplaying a job. 

Instead of letting yourself explore the mind of a character you enjoy, you’ve come to expect that you will follow a certain order of things, and that your job is to fill the emotional labor required of your partner to keep them happy. They respond to you requesting similar emotional labor (which in a healthy relationship should be give-and-take) by ignoring you. This is painful for you, maybe not like getting pinched, but feeling like what you’ve made isn’t good enough? That you’re not good enough by extension because our RP kids are totally extensions of ourselves? That’s unfair. Unfair to you.

However! Even if something seems to be a pattern, like not playing dudes, it’s always good to test run characters from all walks of life. Any character couldn’t be the exception to or that your mood could change. That means, don’t feel guilty if you’ve said “this label doesn’t feel right” for a while, and then you have an exception. It just means it’s an exception, you’re fine. You’re not breaking your own rules, you’re learning more about what works with you.

Finding yourself at a loss with OC’s or characters you enjoy may point to your environment being one that’s hostile to new things. They don’t understand an OC, there’s no blueprint giving them an idea of what to expect. OC’s are also one of the easiest ways for players to get into the game, which means newbies who lack social graces tend to gravitate towards them because ‘there’s no rules to break’ in how they portray them. Unfortunately since they don’t know how to approach others in socially appropriate ways, this gives OC’s a reputation for being awful to play with. They break etiquette, they push too hard, they don’t get why someone may be backing away. This isn’t the OC’s fault, it’s the player, but it’s seen more in OC’s because of ease-of-entry. So... they gain a reputation.

That means approaching on an OC is definitely going to come with people looking for standard red flags, and they’ll need to see you in action long enough to get comfortable with you! You have to be stellar in everything to get attention, and you have to have a hook. Your character has to be stand-out, interesting, and fun. Something people get grabbed by the summary of, so they can emotionally attach to it the same way they did major series, which give a character time to come out of their shell, and audiences time to connect to them. That’s why canons are popular: They bought the time it took to get under people’s skin by having a plot to follow. Without that, OC’s are like hearing about a character from another fandom you’re not interested in.

There’s also, unfortunately, an online beef against the ladies in plot. I’m not gonna sugar coat it, people have gotten it into their heads that girls being roleplayed tend to be shallow, vapid characters designed just for romance. So it can be hard to egt people interested because of stereotypes. The worst part is, I see this stereotype most often from male writers playing women, who have no idea hoiw to treat them as a person, and have instead made them a cardboard cut out designed to reach their goals. This is even worse on adult websites where smut is an option, ladies get the short stick SO often because of years where female characters have been treated as a plot device. 

This goes way back to the idea of a sexy lamp: If your female character can be replaced with a sexy lamp, they aren’t expanded enough on. They aren’t a person. Some of the strongest female characters have been, say, Ripley from Alien. Why? She was a male character in the script, they just didn’t change anything but her gender and rolled with it. That means you end up working against a lot of shit to just try and play around and have fun. It can be exhausting, and more than once I’ve seen people give up. Don’t, though. People need to hear your voice. If you’re in a position where things are hard, remember. Trying the same things over and over expecting it to change is just silly. You need to change parts of your approach, whether it be the environment, the people, or simply how you word things. Push back on what’s making you feel bad, and put down boundaries. “If I do this, I would appreciate if you gave back with this.” Ask for space, you deserve space to explore what makes you happy. Say no more often to things you’re not comfortable with. You don’t have any obligation to fit a mold for another person.

Find your comfort zone, and defend it. If that means moving onto a new group of people, or just doing something extraordinary with what you have, or finding a new way to approach stuff, then maybe that’s what you need to do! Spread your wings, and find what makes you happy. Don’t look for advice on how to tamp yourself down into what you feel like you should be doing, if it’s not right for you. Author Notes: I love classic rom-coms. Even though some parts may not hold up to scrutiny decades later, I'll always be weak for oblivious OTPs and grand gestures of love. I toyed with the idea of a Sweet Home Alabama AU years ago, but it languished in my WIP folder—until now. Thank you, camomiletea, for your wonderful prompt. Summary: This close up, Draco can see the differences that have occurred over the years. Harry's hair is longer, although it's as unruly as ever; his forearms are well-muscled and decorated with ink; and there are small lines by his eyes that look like they would crinkle if he were smiling. Which, at this moment, he most definitely is not. He looks like he's worn the same clothes for three days and just rolled out of bed, yet Harry's so unfairly gorgeous it makes Draco's heart ache. "What do you want, Draco?" Harry asks, his voice resigned. The question snaps Draco out of his reverie. "A divorce," he proclaims as he opens his bag.

i literally have too many thoughts i cant condense them all. i love how they've been so simpatico for so long, commentary was talking about their tag team telepathy in 2007, and they're just as in-sync now. i love how defined their characters are and how well they understand each other. i love that they've gone all the way from young jerk boyfriends to (somewhat) mature husbands mentoring the next generation.

i love that since they started tagging, they have never ever feuded with each other. in their divorce era they never talked to each other or explained themselves to anyone. they never even TOUCHED - they never laid hands on each other as enemies!!!!! that drives me so fucking crazy!!!!! AAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!!

Jimi holds up her hands in defeat, laughing softly as the beats begin to fade. "Okay, okay, I'll turn it off now –"

She freezes as she reaches for her phone, brown eyes going wide as all too familiar drum kicks and the squealing notes of a saxophone erupt from the speakers.

Pickles groans, "Oh, no." A grin already tugs at his mouth.

Especially as Jimi turns back to him with her brown eyes practically sparkling, that brilliant gap-toothed grin on display. "Oh, yes!"

"C'mon, Jimi, ya promised the last song would be it–" Pickles laughs weakly, already feeling the drum beats hitting his chest like raindrops. Hadn't he practiced this very same song? How could he not?

"Nuh-uh. Come on..." Jimi's already moving slowly toward him, shoulders and hips beginning to sway as the strings come in, doing some kind of shuffling little step. "You know you wanna. You gotta."

"I really don't..." But he's already losing the battle, knee beginning to bounce in time.

"Don't tell me Mr. Drummer is turning down some Sheila E.? Really?"

"Well..." Pickles knows it's over for him when the main melody kicks in, and Jimi twirls, immediately moving into the kind of moves she has to have practiced.

It all looks so natural for her, moving her body as effortlessly as any instrument, matching every note. She shimmies at Pickles, and he shimmies right back at her, causing Jimi to throw her head back in a laugh that rings all through the kitchen and straight through him.

She reaches for him and there's no way Pickles can refuse her. Hand in hand, Jimi challenges him to keep up with every shoulder roll, every sway of her hips. She even manages to sing while doing so, the lyrics rolling off her tongue as effortlessly as she moves.

"Ooh, look at you! Go'n, Snakes N' Barrels!" He's certain he's never heard her laugh this much before, and it's richer, sweeter than any bourbon he's tried.

"Heh, what can I say? Once ya got it, ya never lose it." He's only a little winded as he says so.

Even though they make up the moves as they go, they move pretty well together. Pickles can see all the signs of Jackson family choreography from the way Jimi's feet move. And when she does a pointed neck roll, he mirrors her, drawing another delighted peal out laughter from her.

Pickles spins her around and she presses against him, back to his chest, hips swaying in sync to his, side to side, as she sings:

"Boys with ♪ small talk ♪ and small minds ♪ really don't impress me in bed~♪"

(His hand taps her hip on beat, his arm crossed over her body, and Jimi doesn't seem to mind, looking over her shoulder coyly.)

"She said 'I need a man's man baby' ♪ Diamonds and furs ♪ Love would only conquer my head ♪"

And then she's spinning away from him, and Pickles wonders if she felt that electric storm, too, that raged between them in those moments.

Jimi keeps dancing, keeps smiling, and doesn't let go of his hand. So Pickles keeps moving with her, keeping time, hoping for another chance to draw her close.

She wants to live ♪ the glamorous life ♪ without love ♪ it ain't much.

2. "What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare?" Not entirely uncommon for them, but it depends on who has the nightmare. Since Ebenholz has nightmares more often, Czerny's more practiced in dealing with them, which generally means soothing Ebenholz and calming him down before he does something stupid. Touch and getting their breathing in-sync tends to help, and Ebenholz is also usually calmed by Czerny's heartbeat. Czerny's nightmares are far less frequent but pretty intense, and it's understood that he needs to deal with his emotions immediately so his brain doesn't get stuck. Ebenholz tries to stick by his side and be supportive of whatever he needs to do while making sure he doesn't push himself too hard, be it writing emotions out into a composition or engaging in physical activity to burn away the stress.

13. "Who’s the bigger tease?" Ebenholz. Often without meaning to, since his ass is on the asexual spectrum and he doesn't always realize he's being a tease or that Czerny is in any sort of mood. But when Ebenholz decides to be a tease on purpose? Czerny is absoutely doomed.

35. "Who’s more artistic?" That's a hard one. Czerny goes deeper into his art, always composing and making music, often absently humming or jotting notes down in the middle of whatever he's doing. He doesn't have a lot of other artistic hobbies, though he'll sometimes draw in the margins of his notes; his doodles are honestly kind of cute. Ebenholz has a wider range though, as he's more willing to experiment with genre conventions once he starts composing, and he has a few more artistic hobbies (he picks up jewelry crafting from attempts to improve Kreide's necklace, and he also likes photography. He also pens the occasional poem, but refuses to show them to anyone ever.)
