Gods, I love underwater bases. Bioshock was a hella fun game to play because it was an underwater city. I've also tried to make a ton of Minecraft bases in the ocean.

Anyways, YJ deserves their own place that isn't associated with anyone else. They deserve either a brand new construction (like this) or a renovated one they found themselves (instead of it being an old space from other heroes). I'd live for the fluff of them slowly making the place theirs (from the weird paintings they hang up, the curtains they bicker over, the plethora of photos of loved ones, the random trinkets each one brings to decorate, etc). This is their home, and they should be able to make it fit them.

I'd also want to see some of the hurt/comfort of Tim finally losing that little bit of tension he never noticed he carries (since he's finally safe. He will be safe. No one can hurt him here).

Instructions:

Go to your Blowtorch folder (the one you saved somewhere safe)

Select and right click/copy the folder in it with the name The Sims 4.

Now navigate to your Game folder in either Origin or EA App directory - NOT THE GAME FOLDER IN DOCUMENTS/Electronic Arts

Paste the copied folder - you should get a question about overwriting files, answer yes.

If you have stored your game files in other location than C:/ you need to find it. Same if you have a MAC. (I have never used a Mac so not very good at support for Mac, but principally its the same.)

Now your world is empty and clean again BLOWTORCHED

If you have saves with hood deco they should now load and look like you intended.

Note: As soon as the EP drops, I will make an update for it. And a new version of my Empty Save.

Sinclair Brothers Headcanons - Food

Bo

• Bo CAN feed himself, but dear god he cannot do it well.

• It’s pretty much all junk food/extremely basic processed foods, and they aren’t made particularly well.

• He has a “Treat Yourself” streak ever since his parents died, in which he does things like add Too Much of what he THINKS is a good ingredient to something (extremely sloppy sandwiches with too much Mayo, gritty boxed Mac N Cheese because he used too much butter). The food would undoubtably be better if he just prepared it as directed, but he’s intent on having it his way.

• Will do WEIRD things with food. Sometimes he likes to do things like take the cheese powder packet out of the Mac n cheese and put it on popcorn(he uses Ranch on the noodles he takes the cheese from. This is actually better than when he tries to make the Mac n cheese). Sometimes, he takes the flavor packet out of ramen just to eat it—Vincent gets SO mad every time he finds a ramen packet with no flavor in it. Bo insists he’s going to eat it later(also with ranch) but he never does.

• This man will eat six snack-pack puddings in one sitting. Not good at mixing his own instant pudding because he insists on adding extra sugar and it throws off the chemical reaction. (When he does that and inevitably refuses to eat it because the texture is nasty, Vincent freezes it and has it like fudgesicles)

• King of sitting on the couch with his shirt half-tucked, only one sock on, and eating cold ravioli straight out of the can.

• Can’t eat cheerios, it reminds him too much of childhood. For him to eat cereal at ALL it has to be the most absolutely sugar and dye laden Breakfast Candy you’ve ever seen. He will add more sugar.

• Utterly obsessed with Halloween Candy—if he feels lonely and Vincent hasn’t come up to hang out with him in a while he will find him or Lester and pelt them with Candy. This is preferable to admitting he needs some attention.

• Will eat an entire grocery store rotisserie chicken in one sitting like it’s nothing with his bare hands.

• When he wants to get his brothers together for a family dinner, he comes home with an ungodly amount of takeout(paid for with cash taken from the wallets of victims)

Vincent

• He tried to cook exactly one(1) time, and he ended up burning it completely to the pan—Bo just threw the entire pan away. Vincent was so embarrassed that he never tried cooking again.

• Has an ungodly love for cereal—keeps no less than five different boxes of sugary cereals in his workshop at any given time.

• When he goes on a major creative binge, he rarely comes upstairs, so all he eats is dry cereal by the fist fulls.

• Very big tea lover, but VERY picky about it. Bo just gets him whatever random tea he sees at the store when he makes a supply run, so Vincent has boxes and boxes of tea that he wouldn’t drink if his life depended on it. Lester is more consistent about getting exactly what Vincent likes.

• Despite being unable to cook himself, Vincent is surprisingly judgy about it when Bo makes something gross. He’ll stand near him just STARING at him until Bo eventually just offers him half. Vincent takes it anyway, but he complains about the ridiculous amount of Mayo and will make a show of dabbing at it with a paper towel.

• When Bo fucks something up so bad he won’t eat it(like the instant pudding) Vincent is surprisingly good at salvaging it, for someone who can’t actually cook himself.

• Shredded cheese out of the bag at 3AM

• Bo leaves pizza rolls in the fridge for him in a microwave safe bowl sometimes so he can get a snack easily if he comes up at night.

• Very picky about fast food—a lot of it makes him sick to his stomach.

Lester

• Can ACTUALLY cook, and loves to.

• Sets a few small traps in the woods for small game, but actually takes a lot of his meat from the fresher roadkill.

• Makes a HELL of a gumbo, and knows his way around a stew. Has a garden dedicated entirely to different varieties of hot pepper.

• Bo absolutely will not even TRY his food, knowing that at least half the meat comes off of the road. Lester got him to try it one(1) time and it gave him the shits—in reality, it only fucked with Bo’s stomach because Bo is so used to eating garbage that the vegetables were hard on his stomach.

• Extremely annoyed every time a fast food restaurant comes out with something it claims is “Mega Hot”. Whenever something new comes out, he ALWAYS buys three of it and makes his brothers try it with him, just so he has someone to rant to about how weak the flavor profile is.

• This man LOVES hot chocolate. He WILL make it in a crockpot with a couple peppers thrown in for depth of flavor. This is a Sinclair family favorite, and the ONLY thing Lester makes that Bo will consistently consume. Vincent likes to have it iced—Bo swears it’s “just chocolate milk” if you have it cold, but he just doesn’t get it.

• Not TOO much of a cereal lover, but he likes to get Lucky Charms just so he can set the marshmallows aside to have in his hot chocolate—he thinks the shapes are fun, and he’s averse to the texture of normal mini-marshmallows.

• On the rare occasion that he DOES pick up fast food(usually to be pretentious about spice) he is the DEFINITION of that meme with the terrified Wendy’s employee working the drive through when someone says the absolute most unhinged bullshit to them.

• This man reads cookbooks for fun and for inspiration—if he used the Internet, he’s the one person on the planet who actually enjoys reading the entire blog entry above recipes.

Red Son - Sitcom AU

Finally able to think about someone other than Sun Wukong or Macaque in this au, props to me!

Humor aside- I've been thinking of nothing but Red boyo so y'all get spur of the moment things about him for sitcom, though I can't promise it to be angst free- enjoy!

Is either high honors or principal's list in terms of grades (somewhere between 85-95 is his average)

He is so stressed all the time, my guy needs to chill

The Sims 3 Folders Explained.

Collections - Consists of collections created in-game.

ContentPatch - Patch downloaded through launcher will be stored here. DontBugMeUntilNextPatch is a file placed here if you don't accept the patch download, so you won’t get the prompt in Launcher again.

CurrentGame.sims3 - Contains all the data from currently loaded Save Game. It's present when the game is running.

Custom Music - Contains music player can add (in .mp3 format and 128 kb bitrate) and listen to on Custom Music radio channel in-game.

DCBackup - Contains CCMerged file, and packages of every installed content. After installing store/premium/custom content, it is safe to remove all files from here except CCMerged.

DCCache - Contains all installed store and custom content. There are four different file types in this folder:

*.dbc: All third party content. Do not delete!

*.ebc: Store content. Do not delete!

missingdeps.idx: Created when content doesn't fully load or is corrupted - safe to delete.

dcc.ent: Gets recreated when deleted.

Content is compressed together in one file. When the game finds that file full to its' capacity, it creates another one. The content of all these files are things found in InstalledContent section of the Launcher. Deleting these files will mean deleting ALL custom/store content from your game.

Downloads - Contains Sims3Packs you install through the Launcher. After installing it is safe to copy these files elsewhere (another folder or external drive) and remove the from this folder.

FeaturedItems - Contains images of all Store content shown in CAS, Build/Buy Catalog. Safe to delete.

IGACache - EA marketing tool. Safe to delete.

InstalledWorlds - Contains installed worlds. From Store or other custom worlds. DO NOT DELETE!

Library - Households and houses installed through Launcher.

Mods - Contains mods and custom content in .package files. This folder needs to be manually created. ModTheSims tutorial.

Recorded Videos - Videos player records in-game.

SavedSims - Sims saved in CAS library and installed through Launcher. Each Sim has their own file.

Saves - Player's save files. Each file has their own folder and .backup folder. Should be backed up regularly. The folders with .bad extension imply corruption and should be deleted.

Screenshots - Pictures player takes in-game.

SigsCache - Origin and Store activities information.

Thumbnails - Cache of all thumbnail photos across the game. Saved for faster loading. Safe to delete, but will cause slower loading next time game starts.

The Sims 4: New Game Patch (September 26th, 2023)

There’s a new game update for The Sims 4! This one comes in preparation for The Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack release on Thursday (September 28th).

As it’s been previously announced, the patch brings a new design for the “cook” menu, for easier navigation. It also allows sims to bake cupcakes in any oven (#FreeTheCupcakes).Advertisement

The update also brings a few bug fixes, as promised on the latest Laundry List.

If you have auto updates enabled in Origin’s “Application Settings”, the game will auto-update once you open Origin. If you have auto-updates disabled, you will need to manually update by clicking the game in your library.

To ensure your game is up to date, check the game version found in Documents > EA > The Sims 4 > GameVersion.txt. Your game should now read: PC: 1.101.290.1030 / Mac: 1.101.290.1230 / Console: Version 1.81.2

Let them eat (cup)cakes! Speaking of sweets… this update includes freeing the sweetest treat, cupcakes! Your Sims can now prepare delicious cupcakes by using an oven, in addition to the traditional method of using the Whipped Dream Cupcake Factory. Plus, Toddlers can now experience the joy of eating a delicious cupcake.

We’ve delved deep into cooking, recipes, and ingredients. Expect to see the quality of food that’s prepared better reflect your Sim’s skill level, current mood, and appliance quality. Additionally, recipes across the Cooking, Gourmet Cooking, and Baking skills have been updated to better utilize more of the expected ingredients of the food that’s being prepared. One example of these updates: Players who own both Cottage Living and Get To Work can use the sugar, flour, and egg ingredients from the former with the baking recipes from the latter. The updates don’t stop there. We gave the Cool Kitchen Stuff Pack some love too! I scream, you scream, now Child Sims can scream for Ice Cream! Child Sims can now use the Sweet Tooth Ice Cream Machine.

One last update we’d like to tell you about relates to the Small Appliances in game. We’ve added the ability for many different small appliances to be dragged around within the game world while in Live Mode, as well as being able to place small appliances into your Sim’s inventory to take them with you on your travels. Now your Sims can make more informed choices on if they want to suffer the consequences of eating dairy when they are Lactose Intolerant. We’ve done a large update to food for a more accurate Lactose Free experience.

High School Years

Set your boundaries! There should be fewer invitations to become BFF with other Sims.
