Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening launches August 26 - Gematsu

Side-scrolling action platformer Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on August 26, publisher Microids and developer Magic Pockets announced.

The game is based on the manga Cobra created by Buichi Terasawa in 1978, and covers the first 12 episodes of the anime series.

Immerse yourself in a thrilling action platform game and harness the unique abilities of an iconic adventurer. Play as Cobra, the space pirate, in an action platformer. Along with Lady Armaroid, your loyal partner, and equipped with your iconic Psychogun, you must solve a mystery that could threaten the entire universe. Travel from planet to planet to save three enigmatic sisters, whose fate is tied up with a fabulous treasure sought by the dreaded Space Pirate Guild. I recently had a memory unlocked of pocket critters from the 90’s. It inspired me to design pocket CREATURES. Little manifestations that wizards equip to their potion bags/belts/etc. They are novelty magic items that sometimes cast silly spells. This particular pocket creature randomly cries rainbow tears. Super useful 👍✨

DC confirms that the bat cave is just part of a really huge cave system, and that’s just how Batman gets around without people seeing him. Some people question how nobody else has discovered the batcave if this is true, but it /is/ Gotham - there’s a man eating pseudo crocodile and a zombie in the sewers. Would you risk it?
