Malfoys' Darling

Drarry where Lucius and Narcissa have another child later in life, a little girl who absolutely adores Draco.

Harry didn't expect that his office straight out of Hogwarts would be next to Malfoy. An unfortunate circumstance that he was forced to get used to even if he hated it.

Until the laughter came.

It started out as baby babbling, little giggles that warmed even his jaded heart.

"Dddu!"

Harry laughed himself silly when he realized that was the baby's way of trying to say Malfoy's name.

Dddu turned into, "Drrr," and "Draaa."

"That's my sweet girl," Malfoy would say every time Narcissa brought her for a visit. "I'm your favorite, I know. Not everyone can be me."

Harry stopped dreading work, the highlight to each day was listening to little giggles and babbles that were slowly getting more coherent.

"Drayy," turned into "Co," sometimes, like she couldn't combine the words but could say them separately.

And when little feet ran into his office, a chubby hand covering a heart stopping smile, Harry knew that he'd never be the same.

"And just who might you be?" Harry asked as she stopped near the leg of his desk, needing the support as her tiny legs threatened to give out. He wondered how long ago she learned to walk.

Wide eyes that looked so much like her brothers stared back at him; mouth parted before she tugged on his pant leg.

"Up!"

Who was he deny such a demand from a little princess?

Harry settled her on his knee as he spun in his chair, grinning at the little shrieks of laughter as she clapped her hands together.

"You are adorable. I understand why Malfoy is besotted with you. Don't tell him I said this, but I used to think he was the prettiest person I'd ever seen. Even gangly and too much chin as a teenager I was fascinated. And definitely in denial.

"But," Harry continued, tickling her sides, lips stretching at her breathy giggle. "You are just as pretty. I think he has competition. And I know how he handles competition. Badly. What do you think he'd say about it, hmm?"

"I think he'd know a losing battle when he saw one."

The drawling tone caused two very different reactions. Harry startled, grasping his chest as his heart missed several beats. But the best reaction was a small happy shriek as a loud,

"Dwaco!!"

Malfoy's eyes softened; nose scrunched up as he smiled gently.

"Hello, Darling."

Wiggling limbs had Harry setting her gently on the ground, watching as she rushed to Malfoy who was already crouched, prepared to catch her as a small body launched forward.

"She wins hands down," Malfoy glanced at Harry, hand playing with her curls. "But I'll settle for top two as long as it comes with a date."

That was the day—a boring Monday—where Harry not only got himself a date but also had the pleasure of meeting Darling Malfoy. A sweet girl who filled his office with laughter and smiles.

"It's too cold out. I'm not going anywhere in this weather" It was snowing. And heavily at that. No one sane enough would walk out there willingly even if it meant missing a Hogsmeade weekend. To Draco that sounded like absolute blasphemy.

"Come on Y/n. Please?" He stood in front of me, arms crossed waiting for my answer. I was currently sat in an armchair in the common room, a blanket tucked around me that Draco had so kindly given me.

"Draco. It's freezing. I don't even have a coat" I tried reasoning with him. Thinking of excuses made letting him down a little easier. He let out a heavy sigh. The fact that he didn't reply immediately meant he was clearly articulating something in his mind.

"Are you sure?"

I rolled my eyes. Didn't he have other friends to pester?

"I am one hundred percent sure. Why don't you go with Crabbe or Goyle?" Absolute silence filled the room at the names I had mentioned. Until Draco grinned at me and soon we were laughing at the utter ridiculousness of going anywhere with Crabbe and Goyle. Draco had unwittingly befriended the two trolls in his first year and like a sticking charm they hadn't stopped following him around however straight up Draco was with them.

The remnants of our laughter faded away leaving a small smile on Draco's face making him seem softer than usual. His cold mask it seemed dropped when he was comfortable enough with someone. Luckily I was included in that, being his best friend and all. He also had a particularly close relationship with Theo and Blaise. Otherwise he could be cold, arrogant and a right ass when he wanted to be. He stood their for another minute looking between the window and me before deciding to sit down next to me. His head dropped down to my shoulder, the small movement making me freeze. My heartbeat increased even though it had no right to. We were friends. Friends. That's it.

I pulled the blanket off of me and pulled it over the both of us. "Are you sure you don't want to go out? It's the last Hogsmeade weekend before Christmas holidays"

"No. Your here"

I wanted to say something back, something witty or sarcastic that would have us back in our usual banter and not in a intimate comfy moment like this. The words were stuck in my throat, they just didn't want to get past. His warmth seeped through to me, his body heat doing more than the blanket was.

I tried not to move too much because I didn't want him to think I was uncomfortable and move away but I could feel something digging into my leg and I just had to move it.

As soon as I moved slightly Draco sat up no longer leaning on me. I pretended it wasn't a big deal and swept my hand under my leg. It was a stupid fucking cat toy. I threw it across the room and hoped whoever's it was would come find it.

Draco cleared his throat "I should get going. I've got some- Quiditch practice to do"

I raised an eyebrow "In the cold?"

His eyes widened quickly before his expression returned to indifference "No. It's looking through game tactics."

"Right". I had a feeling he was lying to me. But then why would he? Maybe he didn't want to be caught sitting so close to me. I had heard the rumours about him and Erin. My heart felt heavier all of a sudden. At the thought of Draco having a girlfriend. I don't know why. He deserved to be happy after all.

"See you at dinner Y/n"

I gave him a small smile not bothering to reply. He walked away out the common room not giving me another glance. Fine. I pushed the boundaries. If he wanted to stay friends then fine by me. I wasn't going to ruin our friendship over something that may not even happen.

love fics where draco discovers harry has a praise kink. they'll be making out or something when draco mumbles a compliment like, "you feel so good, you're doing so well for me." which makes harry's brain short circuit and go fuzzy, letting out extremely turned on whimpers against draco's lips while his hips stutter and grind harder against draco.

draco's eyes widening in response, realizing, "oh, my sweet little thing. you like it when i say you're being good for me, huh? look at you, you're shaking, so sweet, so hot. fuck, you're mine, all mine."

harry loves draco's voice so much. so voice + praise kink = a very hot and turned on harry. he also likes complimenting draco because he gets so flustered and stutters more, trying to act like he's unaffected but his skin hides nothing - it's a dead giveaway with how pink his ears and cheeks turn.

but harry gets so much hotter underneath, and even more when draco's so mindlessly overcome with pleasure that he can't stop talking.

in conclusion: harry has a huge praise + voice kink, draco likes sharing (and making harry beg him to talk). sometimes, draco purposefully keeps quiet, only moans and grunts, but harry wants more, begging, "please please, i wanna hear you, please draco, i'm being good for you right 🥺🥹?"

A/n- Heyy wi! Really sorry for responding to these asks so late! I love this concept so much! Here's your request!

You huffed as you smoothed out the minor crinkles on your dress; you wanted to seem perfect, especially for him. You'd been waiting for this chance to show the world that you're his, and now you'd received it: you'd been invited to the Grand Ball, and your date was none other than your boyfriend, Draco Malfoy.

"Let the ball, commence!!" After that, your hands went straight to Draco's shoulders, and his to your waist, and the two of you swayed like two graceful swans to the music.

"You look ravishing, darling," Draco whispered as he tightened his grip on your waist, "I want to go home already," he groaned as he kissed your neck, sending chills down your spine, "Everyone watching Draco," you said, prompting Draco to tighten his grip even more as the two of you danced.

"Switch partners!" exclaimed the voice, bringing everyone on the dance floor to a halt. "What?" you inquired, to which Draco simply shrugged, as though the others were exchanging partners, so you chose the person on your right.

"How about we dance?" "Oh Y/l/n, this is going to be a lovely dance," said the man, who was none other than Mattheo Riddle, the attractive black-haired boy with curly hair, but his smile quickly went into a smirk as he stretched his arm out, which you took.

"There's a lot for us to catch up on," Mattheo stated as you nodded while swaying to the music. "Also, you look gorgeous tonight," he said, and you laughed. "Thank you, Theo."

Your boyfriend didn't seem to keep his cool while you were talking to your friend; he scoffed as you laughed with Mattheo at a joke he cracked; he was dancing with Pansy Parkinson, who looked at you and then at Draco and sighed, "Relax Draco, they are just laughing," she said; "How would you know the difference between laughing and flirting?" he asked as his blood boiled.

Pansy kept her mouth shut and when the dance was over, she signaled to you with her eyes that Draco was mad at you.

"How was the dance?" As he neared you two, Draco inquired, "Oh, it was fantastic, wasn't it, Y/n?" "It was absolutely fantastic Theo," you remarked as you smiled at Mattheo as he winked at you. "Oh, really? Then why don't you start dating right now?" As wrath raged through Draco's body, he said.

"Relax, Draco, I'm not here to steal your girl," Mattheo said as he lifted his hands in the air; instead, Draco stared at him, indicating his intention to depart, and you turned to Draco.

"Draco, it was just a dance." "Yeah, whatever," he replied as he was ready to walk away when you grabbed his wrist and stopped him. "You idiot! Why would I love him when I already have feelings for you? "You stated this as you approached him and kissed his cheek, making him blush.

Draco leaned closer as you took a step back, saying in your ear, "I'll be waiting for you in our room, don't be late," kissing your cheek and leaving you to find your way to the room you shared with him.

The first time a stranger referred to her as “Ms. Black” after her divorce, Narcissa smiled. She continued smiling every time she heard it for months, but over time she grew used to it.

The first time a co-worker deliberately spat out “Mrs. Malfoy,” disregarding the well-publicized news of her divorce, Narcissa flinched. It bothered her for years, but eventually she learned to ignore it.

The first time Hermione called her “darling,” Narcissa’s heart felt like it would beat out of her chest. For the rest of Narcissa’s life, her heart raced every time that word passed her wife’s lips.

Sirius and Narcissa's first kiss is the summer before their fifth year. It's the summer she comes out as trans and he starts rebelling louder and louder (partly because he wants to, partly to divert the family's anger away from her).

There are two weeks he spends living with his aunt Druella and uncle Cygnus, Narcissa's parents, and Sirius and Narcissa spend nearly all their time together. They've always been good friends (no one else gets the intensity of being an Heir of the Black family who's letting them down, not if they haven't lived it), and there's been some vague attraction that especially Narcissa never managed to place until now.

After a few days of holding themselves up in her bedroom with a bottle of firewhisky from Cygnus' stock, laughing over how dramatic and ridiculous the family is to avoid being scared of them, there's a little shift. They're too close together, and they pause at the same time and have that same look in their eyes that kinda terrifies and kinda excites both of them (needless to say, Sirius is a whole lot more excited and Narcissa is a whole lot more scared to mess up again).

It's honestly a very very innocent kiss. On the floor of her bedroom, leaning against her bed, a little awkward and laughing and hoping her mother isn't about to walk in. It's pretty innocent, and pretty short, and immediately followed with a very shocked what did we do, and that’s followed by another, slightly less innocent kiss.

It's one of the memories Sirius loses in Azkaban because it's far too happy, and one of those memories Narcissa tries her hardest not to think about, but remembers every time someone asks her if she was close to that mass murderer they locked up. Her answer's always no, of course.

Whatever It Takes

Harry’s fingers finally found purchase on the hilt of the sword. With the frozen water all around him, it almost felt warm to the touch. His heart filled with elation as he grasped it tightly and pulled it upwards.

Something closed tight around his neck, digging into his skin. He searched his memory of what he had seen when he dove in but couldn’t think of anything that could have caught him. Brushing his fingers over his neck, he realised that it was the necklace: the Horcrux was tightening over his airway.

He struggled, his hands sliding uselessly across the chain as he thrashed in the water. His breath had long left him in a futile stream of bubbles rising up toward the surface. This couldn’t be the end. It couldn’t. They hadn’t gone through all those months of searching for him to die pointlessly and stupidly at the bottom of a pond.

He saw a flash of red hair and felt arms clench around his chest. Before he knew it, he was being hauled bodily from the water, the air biting into his cold skin like knives. He hit the ground heavily and simply lay there in the snow whilst his body catalogued his sins in harsh detail. He turned to thank Ron for pulling him out of the water and came face to face with Malfoy, soaking wet and panting.

“Are – you – mental?”

His hand clasped onto the stone hanging around his neck. It was a nervous tick. He couldn’t remember when it had started or why. All he knew was that when he was holding it he felt safe and loved and that it was important that he never lose it. Now that the locket was gone, it was the only thing that remained pressed against his chest.

He glanced up to where Ron was standing and then back to Malfoy, lying beside him. With relief he noticed that Malfoy held the Horcrux in his hand, the broken chain dangling uselessly. He allowed himself to flop back down into the snow.

“Did you hear me?”Ron was not about to be ignored. He hated to be ignored. Ron had a lot of insecurities that he had confessed to Harry in the dark safety of their shared room. One of them was that Fred and George had pretended he didn’t exist for a whole summer once. It was the kind of prank that left a definite mark on a younger brother.

Harry sighed, “Yes. I heard you.”

Beside him, Malfoy sat up slightly to look at him and Harry turned to Ron.

“What the bloody hell were you thinking!?” Ron snapped, “Diving in there with the Horcrux still attached to your neck?” He gestured to the pile of clothes and precious items. “You took everything else off.”

Harry ignored him and glanced back at Malfoy. The sword was lying on the other side of him, abandoned in the snow.

He breathed out a sigh of relief. “You got it.”

Malfoy raised an eyebrow. “Of course I got it. It’s why you jumped in, wasn’t it? I didn’t want to have to do it again.”

Harry laughed with relief and a touch of hysteria. The Horcrux had been like a weight that pulled them all down. They had all been on edge, constantly bickering and snapping at each other. Hermione and Ron had more arguments than he could count. Harry was a walking disaster. He never slept and was always fighting with himself and the others.

Then, when it got to be too much and Harry didn’t think he could take it anymore, Malfoy was always there. His cool hands would take the wretched necklace from around Harry’s neck, his warm breath buffeting his face. He would talk to him with soft soothing words before he stepped back and slipped it over his head.

While the Horcrux would turn Harry’s personality outward and make him lash out, it had the opposite effect on Malfoy. He would start out snarky, always with quick comments and snappy comebacks, then over time he would draw inward. His eyes would become unfocused, and he began to lose sight of the world. Harry had to measure the silence. If it had been more than five hours since Draco last talked, it was time to take the necklace off him.

Harry couldn’t wait to be rid of the wretched thing, but even more confusing than the relief he had that it would soon be gone was the fact that Malfoy had just saved him. Malfoy. Admittedly, they had come a long way since he had defected that night on the astronomy tower. What had started as terse conversation and avoidance had become something comfortable. Harry had come to rely on him more than he would like to admit.

He would never forget that night when Malfoy asked Dumbledore to help him. He could still picture Dumbledore walking toward Draco with his arm outstretched when Snape appeared and murdered him. Harry had chased Snape down as he escaped into the forest with the rest of the Death Eaters. The older wizard had Malfoy by the scruff of the neck, pulling him forward until Harry had set off a tripping jinx that missed Snape completely and barrelled into Malfoy, who went sprawling on the ground.

His memory was hazy. He had been so full of emotions, his eyes blurry with tears. All he could remember was standing with Malfoy, Hermione and Ron as Snape and the rest of the Death Eaters disappeared into the darkness. He still felt the devastation and anguish from the death of his beloved Headmaster. The sting of Snape’s betrayal.

Malfoy had turned to him, the moon making his pale hair glow in the darkness. He had reached forward and offered him a hand. “I suppose it’s up to us then.”

Harry had looked around at the three of them and agreed, “I suppose it is.”
