i was a little meh about the ending, i guess it felt far too clean and neat and abrupt for an otherwise very interesting movie, but i just loved the dynamics between stella and the house, stella and the ghost, stella feeling such a strong desire to be in the house, to be with the ghost, the “don’t worry mother i am not afraid i want to be with you mother” followed by a scream.... like ugh yes that’s it !!

the possible future of the hatchetfield series: hatchetfield halloween party livestream full rundown

again apologies if someone has already done something like this, but I’m procrastinating doing my coursework and just want to talk about hatchetfield I want everyone to be aware of this exciting stuff that was announced in the stream so here you go:

the next starkid musical to be released will not be in the hatchetfield universe.

the guy who didn’t like musicals will soon be ready to license.

nightmare time 3 was originally planned to be released in the same year as nightmare time 2 and will wrap up the overarching nightmare time stories (which seem to be miss holloway and the foster sisters respectively).

if they did a fourth hatchetfield musical, it would be about miss holloway and her backstory. it is already written. I am very very extremely normal about this fact 😃

there is a possibility of a hatchetfield movie, and workin’ boys was sort of a test for this concept. it would be a slasher murder mystery centering around the hatchetfield community players (zoey chambers and the cast of workin’ girls, possibly also with ruth, hidgens, alice and any other theatre-oriented characters but that part’s just my speculation). the transcription of the teaser description can be found below the nmt descriptions.

She’s engaged to her high school sweetheart, Tom Houston, and the two have a surprise baby on the way! But, as the couple prepare for the arrival of baby Marie, a shadow from Becky’s past returns to haunt them.

Story #4: Devil’s Night

Tim Houston has a crush. Unfortunately, it’s on his older, mature and totally cool babysitter, Grace Chasity, who he fears will never see him as anything but a snot-nosed little kid. But when a devilish maniac with murderous designs on Grace attacks Hatchetfield the night before Halloween, Tim must protect his beloved, or join the killer’s growing body count. Story #5: (long special episode) Miss Holloween

It’s Halloween in Hatchetfield once again, and Miss Holloway is celebrating the same way she’s done for decades, staving off the horrors that go bump in the night. But when Duke gives her an invitation to his wedding, the dejected Miss Holloway begins to chafe under the terms of a contract forged many years ago. She strikes a new bargain, but unfortunately her creditors are known for their tricks, not treats. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 19, 1940, William “Smokey” Robinson is a prolific songwriter credited with 4,000 songs and 37 Top 40 hits.

Robinson founded The Miracles while still in high school. The group was Berry Gordy’s first vocal group, and it was at Robinson’s suggestion that Gordy started the Motown Record dynasty. Their single of Robinson’s “Shop Around” became Motown’s first #1 hit on the R&B singles chart. In the years following, Robinson continued to pen hits for the group including “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me,” “Ooo Baby Baby,” “The Tracks of My Tears,” “Going to a Go-Go,” “More Love,” “Tears of a Clown” (co-written with Stevie Wonder), and “I Second That Emotion.”

The Miracles dominated the R&B scene throughout the 1960’s and early 70’s and Robinson became Vice President of Motown Records serving as in-house producer, talent scout and songwriter.

In addition to writing hits for the Miracles, Robinson wrote and produced hits for other Motown greats including The Temptations, Mary Wells, Brenda Holloway, Marvin Gaye and others. “The Way You Do the Things You Do,” “My Girl,” “Get Ready,” “You Beat Me to the Punch,” “Don’t Mess with Bill,” “Ain’t That Peculiar,” and “My Guy” are just a few of his songwriting triumphs during those years.

After Robinson left the Miracles, fellow member Marv Tarplin joined him on tour in 1973, and presented him a tune he had composed on his guitar. Robinson later wrote the lyrics that became his first solo top ten Pop single, “Cruisin’”. The song hit number one in Cash Box and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. It also became his first solo number one in New Zealand.

Taissa, Mari, and the other Yellowjackets wear the Holloway “Argon Hoodie” in the color Navy/Light Gold.

The brand seems to be phasing out this style of hoodie and I couldn’t find it being sold in that color scheme anywhere. However, there are Navy/Vagas Gold hoodies still available on various online stores that are similar but the gold is not as vibrant. Theres also a Royal/Light Gold color variant but the blue is too bright.

When I was trying to find the hoodie I also saw some of the other colors were being sold on clothes printing stores (places like Custom Ink that print your designs on t shirts and stuff). I’m guessing programs like that are how the costuming department got the hoodie to feature the Yellowjackets logo in the first place (if they didn’t have a way to print it on themselves).

Ok, can we talk about Hatchetfield couples real quick? Cause this franchise is on a damn roll. Often I feel like romantic subplots are shoehorned into a story almost out of obligation, but all the couples in Hatchetfield feel so full of life. Emma and Paul¹, Steph and Peter², Duke and Holloway³, they all have such a real sense of new chemistry, and in totally different ways. Even weirder, the couples that are objectively terrible people are equally endearing. Linda and Gerald⁴ are a fucking power couple, Grace and Max⁵ are weirdly perfect for each other. They bring out each other's worst qualities but they clearly also adore each other. And then there are the romances with history behind them, like Lex and Ethan⁶, Tom and Becky⁷, Alice and Deb⁸. Even couples that show up for like .2 seconds are so fun and interesting, like Bill and Cynthia⁹, Kyle and Brenda¹⁰, Ted and Jenny¹¹, even Mary and Noah¹². It's good shit.
