charlotte isnt as bad as sam is for a multitude of reason

1. sam’s intentionally neglectful. charlotte puts effort into making the relationship work, but sam continuously ignores her, her needs and her wants for a woman far younger than charlotte, which is both cruel and just a tad gross. emma quite literally says that zoey’s ten years younger than her, and she is in a similar age range to the rest of CCRP, including charlotte!!!

2. speaking of which, sam sleeps around because he wants to!! we can tell he doesnt want charlotte anymore, and instead wants to mess around with women younger than her. CHARLOTTE sleeps around because she feels neglected, rightfully fucking so!

3. instead of breaking things off with charlotte, sam STAYS WITH HER and CHEATS ON HER.

anyways tldr sam is far worse than charlotte, she has every right to cheat on him <333

Alright. This may be a controversial opinion but Paul is not the Wet Cat character of Hatchetfield. Neither is Ted, neither is Richie. No it doesn’t matter that Paul is an actual cat. Nor does it matter that Ted went through hell and back a thousand times then realized he lost his house keys. Nor does it matter that Richie talks like that. Because wet cathood is about a very specific vibe. And not even Jon Matteson’s big sad eyes can earn him top spot because he’s not Starkid’s only pair of big sad “buy them brown contacts” blue eyes. I know that, in canon, the Latte Hatte is Zoey, but my headcanon is that Ted is actually referring to Nora because he's a pathetic wet cat of a man with a Type. There is no actual "Latte Hatte" because everyone just imagines whichever of the three Beanie's workers they like and rolls with it.

Ted's goes "ah, yeah, the Latte Hatte (Nora)" and Paul nods sagely "indeed, the Latte Hatte (Emma)" while Bill's like "Don't talk that way about her (Zoey); she reminds me of my daughter!"

I wouldn't say Charted is a healthy relationship, but I do think it makes a lot of sense to pair up a woman openly in love (with Sam), secretly longing for sex, with a man openly longing for sex, secretly in love (with Charlottle).

It's an interesting take on unrequited love.
