Capcom Spotlight + Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase set for February 4 - Gematsu

Capcom will host a Capcom Spotlight broadcast followed directly by a Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase on February 4 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET / February 5 at 7:00 JST, the company announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube (English, Japanese).

The 35-minute broadcast will feature “back-to-back info about all that’s coming from Capcom,” including Monster Hunter Wilds, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, followed by further information on Monster Hunter Wilds with producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, including the latest trailer and details about the second open beta test.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be released for Xbox next year, it’s been confirmed.

In July, Capcom revealed plans to release Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC this year, but the game wasn’t announced for Microsoft‘s consoles.

And last week, the publisher announced Capcom Fighting Collection 2 for release on Switch, PS4 and PC in 2025.

Following an outcry from some unhappy Xbox players and “technical discussions” with Microsoft, Capcom said on Tuesday that both collections will be released for Xbox next year.

The company’s US arm wrote on X: “We’re happy to announce that after technical discussions with our partners at Microsoft, MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will release on Xbox One!

“Both Xbox versions arrive in 2025, so stay tuned for more information!”

Capcom will release a title update for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics on April 16 that adds various new features, including a version select option for X-Men vs. Street Fighter, resolution option for Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and offline versus play for all titles.

Version Select – Select which version to play for X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Chose between versions 960910, 961004, and 961023.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes

Resolution Option – Change the resolution for Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. Increase graphics quality for smoother game visuals.

General

-Offline Versus – Play Versus Mode in all fighting titles. Battle to your heart’s content!

-Menu Button Settings – Menus during online play can now be opened with a long press to avoid accidental inputs.

-Game Reset – Reset the game directly from the pause menu.
