Sooo, recently I've found a way to fix (in my opinion) "unfinished", alpha custom content made for TS4. First I tried to remodel a high-poly shirt and copy the UV map from the original to the low-poly one. With this method I was able to decrease the polycount from 19k to 1,8k in 2-3 hours.
After that I tried to figure out a faster method and found an open source auto remesher addon/plugin for Blender which cut the work time in half, 1 hour! Tried this plugin out with another shirt and I was able to cut down ~8k polies AND keep the quality that the original shirt had!
Tumblr media
Then another one!
Tumblr media
I honestly don't know what to say. I am convinced now that most TS4 CC creators only make their work to fill their pockets and wallets. I know they say that they do this out of a hobby, but PLEASE, if you put your work behind a paywall, at least make sure it's optimized.

“How dare you use his face”
The Infinite Realms and the Faerie Lands are closely interlinked. Not quite identical, but overlapping and intermingling with each other far more than they do with the mundane world. The haunts of ghosts and the distant lands of Fantasy are all but indistinguishable to most outsiders.
The denizens, too, sometimes bear many similarities. It can be difficult to tell at a glance which category an entity falls under—especially if they’re a more liminal case.
So when Damian saw one such entity wearing the guise of his missing twin, he came to a reasonable but incorrect conclusion. One that made him very, very angry at the thing standing before him.
He assumed that he was seeing a Faerie that had stolen Danyal’s face and name.

Okay maybe this is a shit take but it's lowkey really sad that so many people are against spirigenic systems?? I thought with how much overlap between the kin, therian, and plural communities there is it would be kind of understood that different people have different spiritual experiences and we should respect that even if we don't understand. Like. We understand it's more than a little rude to tell a Muslim that Allah doesn't exist, or a Christian that God doesn't exist as a way to demean or discredit their beliefs/identity, right? (Using a really basic example because im too tired to write out a more detailed one but I should hope my intentions are understood). Why is it suddenly a horrible thing if someone feels their religion effects them in some way that contributes to them being plural? A therian can have past lives as their theriotype, but a spirigenic system can't have their past lives define their plurality? It's just. I don't know. I find it unfair, I find it sad, I find it hard to wrap my head around.

there is no such thing as a "trans inclusive radical feminist" the entire foundation of radical feminism is built off of transmisogyny!! like, there is no way around it, 2nd wave feminism was notoriously bad at being intersectional and recognizing how different types of marginalization interact, positioning women as a distinct class regardless of race, age, class, orientation, agab, and so on, who were supposedly all oppressed the same way under patriarchy which simply isn't true.
if you really do believe you're trans inclusive then you cannot be a radfem it simply doesn't work like that; hate to break it to you the basis of your feminism is transmisogynistic as all hell and no amount of padding it out with being "trans friendly" (to whom?) will ever change that. i could even be mean about it but let me put it this way: there are so many different feminisms, many of which are incredibly accessible with tons of literature online, at your local library and in the bookshop close to your home, in english and your native language, that actively choosing to be a radical feminist is an act of transphobia in and of itself.

I think if AFO's care for Yoichi was simply only out of a desire to control then it would've been easy to find a quirk that would brainwash him and make him compliant to AFO's demands. He wouldn't be the same Yoichi, but he would have full control over him and AFO would be content with that.
Yet he insists on having Yoichi join him willingly. Whether that compliance is gained through Yoichi deciding on his own that AFO was right and chose to join his side or through coercion. He desires that verbal agreement from Yoichi for him to be by his side. Its better than any I love you Yoichi could say out loud, he needs him to say that he will walk with his brother no matter what path he travels and would never leave him. Because at the end of the day what AFO fears the most is being alone and he wants Yoichi to agree to stay with him and support him instead of fighting him as he pursues his dream.
Unfortunately the only way AFO feels he can get that support he craves from his brother is through control. But control isn't the end game when it comes to Yoichi for him it's simply a means to an end. To get that love and support he desperately craves from his brother. It makes their relationship extremely toxic as a result and this controlling aspect of AFOs is what ultimately causes him to lose the person he values the most.
Don't get me wrong I do think AFO gets off to the idea of breaking Yoichi's beliefs and will to prove that heroic ideals are fallible and not worth pursuing. But it's not the only thing that motivates him to try to get Yoichi to join him.

baphomet, predecessor of the purple crown
going in a little bit of a different direction, baphomet was the god of war before shamura overthrew them and took the purple crown. they were technically long dead, but ended up being given a new life from old relics as the lamb in the process of trying to resurrect their species. their heart is gone, but they're eager to conquer the new lands---if lamb doesn't keep them in check.

Still laughing about how they didn't want to "invalidate" anyone's worldstate. But that is exactly what they did.
Morrigan is the most obvious, I really cannot believe that a Morrigan who was a mother would have so willingly taken into her something like Mythal if she was a mother - of at this point - a 10 year old Kieran. Maybe she would, but it would be for different reasons.
Isabela is the most annoying to me. She's talking about how "Kirkwall taught her about family." as if she couldn't have been given up by Hawke to the Arishok. As if she couldn't have ran away from Kirkwall and never looked back. If I had met an Isabela from a world state like that, she would never have said that.
Harding talking about the Inquisition also feels like it misses some... extra flavour here and there based on actual choices. Like my Inquisitor didn't do well with Blackwall, and he didn't survive to see the end of the game. But Lace speaks about him fondly and in such a way that I don't think she should if the Inquisitor never 'redeemed' him.
Zevran is never mentioned by name, but what if a warden outright killed the assassin hunting them. Or he turned on them in Denerim and died later? Then explain to me that entire banter Lucanis has with Harding about why House Arainai messed up so bad they went trough several Talons about it. And now the Crows don't take contracts in Ferelden anymore.
At that point the reason that was given to us for the lack of worldbuild choices to prevent 'invalidating everyone's worldstate' feels null and void. Because you have. You have invalidated many worldstates already by bringing back these character or have people talk around them in such a way that doesn't make sense.
