I know Lesbian Visibility Week is almost over, but I thought I'd offer something up anyway! WLW relationships are extremely under-represented in fandoms. the plot twist in do revenge was so so sexy I won't lie

pretty in pink and stranger things

okay so anyone who knows me knows how much i love pretty in pink

so after a quick conversation with my friend we came to the conclusion that the war zone scene is totally a parallel to pretty in pink

this starts with the obvious (and so exciting! and canon!) parallel of vickie to molly ringwald. in this scene, it's clear it is a callback to her character andie in pretty in pink with the cutie straw hat and other bits of her style.

which, then brings me to the absolutely heartbreaking part

throughout stranger things 4 i've seen a ton of comparisons online between robin and duckie, most of them being the eclectic style. most notably i think is the family video costume with the awesome blazer, tie, and dress pants combo which absolutely screams duckie.

so that heart-wrenching scene where robin sees vickie with the boy in war zone? absolutely giving me that blane, duckie, and andie triangle where duckie just absolutely adores andie but she chooses blane. a great callback to a devastating plot point in an even more devastating scene.

robin is definitely my favorite characters aside from steve, so it kills me to see her witness that, but tbh i genuinely think there's still potential in her relationship with vickie. i think it means a lot that vickie left her boyfriend, and anyone with two eyes can see their chemistry during the pb&j conversation, literally so perfect for each other.

i know how pretty in pink ends, with andie choosing blane (and i have to admit i'm an andrew mccarthy girl at heart), but did you know the original script had andie ending up with duckie? and that duckie was originally supposed to be played by RDJ? food for thought is all.

all i want is for robin to be happy. :')

Version where sunny was an actual like baby when tubbo got her. Can you imagine that man with a baby? I think he could probably handle it, he’d probably start crying when she’s crying but. He could handle it, he could hand build her a nursery.

Imagine tubbo hearing something from his baby monitor one night, and he runs into Sunny’s nursery to see a dove (sent by Molly) and a hawk (sent by Tommy) sitting on the rails of her crib. Each holding gifts.

Even better if sunny has some kind of powers/ability as a baby with no control over it, making tubbo 100% frantic and afraid because NO PARENTING BOOK TELLS YOU WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR CHILD HARNESSED THE ABILITY OF THE SUN
