He knows which universe he’s in, from his last life he remembers pirating the three-season shows and having to look away from the screen every other second due to his confusion about what he was seeing. As if he knew he shouldn’t be watching for his age.

He was supposed to be killed as an infant but instead, he was safe by his only uncle. Turns out he wasn’t the only reincarnated but so was his half-brother Jon Snow known now as Jaehaerys III Targaryen. Then there is also his uncle Viserys III Targaryen and his aunt Daenerys Targaryen. His aunt is technically the third of her name but apparently, it only counts if the person before you was a ruler. There has never been a female Targaryen ruler so therefore she is considered the first of her name.

The four of them are reincarnated and they have this theory it’s due to their Targaryen blood. It’s not that far of a stretch after all Targaryen can command dragons, walk through fire, and have visions of future or past events.

All of them seem to be immune to fire but Viserys is the only one who feels pain from it and sensitivity to light. He and Daenerys have visions but Daenerys focuses on the past while his focus is on the future. Jaehaerys has a mental link to all of them. He’s practically the medical version of a phone call.

Viserys who is the oldest among them whether in this life or the last will never stop being flabbergasted on how long it took for them to realize they all had past life memories. Maybe it's an old age superiority complex Aegon doesn’t really know. Though Aegon and Daenerys died very young in their last life so they don’t really feel that deep connection to the past like Viserys and Jaehaerys are.

Aegon has this theory that their memories aren’t due to their Targaryen blood but due to their connection with the world they’re in. In one way or another, they recognize this world from one source of media to another from their worlds.

In Daenerys’ World, it was a cartoon for kids about dragons and royalty. In his world, it was a three-volume novel with a three-season show about Dothraki and Sullied fighting against the hierarchy. Though really it was just a premise for NSFW content instead of any actual real plot.

In Jaehaerys’ world, it was a comic about ice monster zombies that could only be killed by fire from a dragon fire. And due to the Targaryens being extinct the nation as a whole was screwed. There were even plans in the making to adapt it into a post-apocalyptic movie of what happens to the ancestors of the main characters' kids in the comics who manage to get over the seas.

Then there is Viserys’ world, the one with the most complex version of the story. When Aegon first asked Viserys about it he got a 10-hour rant about how much it sucked and that he hated it except for the Dothraki and Dragons. Although Viserys seems to hate this world he is oddly very passionate about, with his so-called ‘hate.’ Then again there is a very thin line between love and hate.

Aegon is just happy that the craziness of this world seems to be in a calm trance. Though he knows it won’t last for long but he’s content. He is to be crowned soon by his uncle, no longer needing to hide his true identity or the person he loves.

Everyone knows that Lores is his lover and future spouse and there is nothing they can do. It’s nothing new among Targaryens and it doesn’t matter as long as there is a blood heir. Which shouldn’t be a problem for him since apparently his cousin Rhaegal was birthed by Viserys. The number of secrets among the Targaryen bloodline will never cease to amaze them.

It might take a while before he and Loras have children, if anything it’s shocking it hasn’t happened yet. From how often they fucked like bunnies in the heat but then again he needs to bottom for it to happen. Ageon is willing to do it but it will take a while for him to get Loras to agree since his lover loves Bottoms and never thought of them ever doing it the other way around.

Sighing, Aegon turns around to snuggle Loras’ body under him while giving a kiss to Loras' bruised nape from all the love mites on it. It’s too early for him to worry about other events he’ll deal with later. And not on his own for he no longer needs to hide who he is whether be it his identity or who he beds.

A new game recently came out for all electronic devices.

The point is, the game is a complete and utter blast. You love reading every new letter, every piece of information that expands the lore of the universe and connects the dots to more revelations, watching parody videos, and of course, reading fanfics on every platform possible.

Wattpad, Ao3, Tumblr, Facebook (you'd barely entered the fandom, so don't judge yourself too harshly), Fanfiction Net, TikTok's "Imagine with…" threads, I think the message got through! You're deep into your new hyperfixation. And what do you love more than reading, writing, drawing, all of that combined about Love and Deepspace? (cough cough depression cough cough) Customize MC.

Even though MC is supposed to be you in the game, your animated reflection, with your features and everything that a self-insert is about, you have to admit you're not entirely honest about that…

That's not your hair color, that's not your skin tone, that's not your hair, that's definitely not the shape of your eyes, your lips, your face, or even your body, but somehow it's perfect for you; you chose it because it's the best version of you you dream of being, because it complements the aesthetic of your favorite love interest, maybe that's your OC, and you literally use that design for absolutely everything that allows you to design a character. What matters is that you chose it, you created it, you loved it from the moment you hit "accept design" and you decided to keep it until now.

In short, it's your baby.

Maybe you'll even spend more time pampering her with exclusive clothes, accessories, and poses than increasing the affinity with the other characters, but your sweet little girl deserves it, only the best. The others should understand that; pfft, what are you talking about? Of course they would (if they were real), what wouldn't they do for her?

In the comfort of your room, where you can scream and cry over letters from Rafayel and Zayne, blush with Caleb and Sylus, or even sleep with Xavier, is where you can admit that you might feel a little…jealousy for your MC.

Not unhealthy envy! Nothing that goes to extremes or makes you jealous even a pixel! Just…sometimes it makes you wish you could find a love like that; a wild and intense fairy tale, a passionate and tender love story, with someone who loves you to the point of leaving their kingdom, their power, their duty, their status, and their life for you…

But that's not possible in real life, not only isn't it possible, it's not healthy, so you're happy to leave it to fiction and otome games. Anyway, you have to throw away those stars and wait for that new dress or Caleb's new birthday card!

Philosophers say that life begins with light.

They describe it as an explosion where there is a void that needs to be filled, a response to a need, others use metaphors of good and evil, yin and yang, hate and love, life and death. The description doesn't matter; the reasons always come down to the same words: complement and existence.

She gave them a reason to exist, their complement. She is their blinding light, their Sun and their Moon, their star and their sea, their air and their warmth, their destiny and their purpose.

That's why they hate being away from you.

Before they hated the distance, they hated discovering they're characters in a dating game simulation; not the typical existential crisis of knowing there's something bigger than them (which there isn't, one is literally a God) or that they serve a purpose beyond their control, but even the phase of knowing that everything they thought they were (likes, hobbies, goals, personal resolutions, dislikes, and even their sleep schedule) they'd chosen for themselves is just one code among millions of others that could easily be one of the tapestries of the coffee shop they frequented.

The worst part of it was knowing that their pain, their sadness, their chains, everything they lost for a girl their digital code demands they love is nothing more than morbid entertainment for anyone who sees them from above, above Astra, above the game's villains, and above themselves.

Until they hear your voice.

They hear a narrator, someone who encourages them when they feel exhausted, who cries with them over their unjust fate, who wishes them victory in every battle, praises their artwork, is moved by every hunt, or simply admires deep space.

They find your light.

Zayne feels you like a breath of fresh air, and for someone who is (literally) an element of ice, he finds that comforting. Xavier searches for you among the stars, those who await him in his home in search of a well-deserved rest, to rule by his side. Rafayel paints you, he doesn't know what you really look like, What is your skin tone? What are your facial features like? Do you have freckles? Do you have dimples when you laugh? Are your teeth even or crooked? Big or small eyes? Wide or perky nose? Is your hair short or long? What is its color? Wavy or straight? No matter how many paintings he makes or how many sculptures he presents in each art exhibition, it is not enough, and in his insufficiency you give him the spark he thought was lost eons ago to keep searching searching for you

Sylus is a dragon, a beast of fire and blood, a hunter of heaven and earth, the ultimate predator, he has conquered lands and amassed so much gold that even in this life it will never end, there is nothing he doesn't have, and yet he would give it all up for that jewel you chose for him at that boxing event, where you agreed (using MC) to be his wife, that ring is the dragon's most prized possession, worthy of his wife, of you. Caleb is, of all of them, the one most obsessed with finding you, he is the one who travels across space to feel the supernova that connected him to you in the first place, there isn't a second that goes by that he doesn't yearn for that warmth, that feeling of being alive for the first time.

Once they became aware of their "condition" finding each other was a game of hide-and-seek.

Zayne and Caleb have a history; the two already know each other; it was only a matter of time before Infold brought them together in a letter, event, or special; Sylus and Xavier also share a myth, or glimpses of typical fairy tale rivalries: prince versus dragon, good versus evil, light versus darkness. Rafayel was the last; he considers himself the ultimate prize for the first couple to find him, too magnificent to have a rival who would compete with his divine ancestry.

Talking among themselves, they all realized two things: each has a different level of affinity with you (some are more favored with gifts or attention, arousing jealousy in others), and they can only interact directly (or as much as they can until the program closes the application due to glitches in the binary code) with you through MC.

MC…doesn't even have a name.

Oh well, you gave her one, but it's so worthless to them that they should remember it or keep it in their files, who does she think she is? Daring to be so close to you, an imperfect imitation of his light, his true light, the one not programmed for him, telling him what he wants to hear, acting from a script, with no personality or spark. She found in you a love without tragedy, a care without caring, to be the protected one instead of the protector, to have the freedom to be herself, to discover how to be herself, to be pampered, to be the first option by choice, not because she was designated that way.

MC was the first to wake up, and she enjoyed every second where it was just the two of you.

The clothes you put on her? Perfectly stored, immaculate, and ready for you, the hairstyles you did for her? Search through every mod you added to the game to perfect the graphics and notice every strand of hair, the shine in every lock, the fluidity every time you move her and take pictures,the poses? All you want, as many as you want, she even strikes suggestive ones when you're not looking, saved in the folder with her name, just for you.

Everything was so perfect, until they woke up too.

Now it's harder to leave them in the background, to forget to boost your affinity or answer calls, she can no longer delete messages or block audio recordings, she can no longer hide them like she did when they were dogs loyal to the idea of ​​her and their destinies. No, now they're her enemies, viruses she has to keep at bay until she discovers a way to eliminate them so it can be you and her again, just the two of us, as always, detour and as it should be.

Some more Black Myth Wukong Destined One x reader / OC / self-insert / whatever-floats-your-boat thoughts

While I know that in the true ending, the Destined Ones inherits all of Wukong's power and skill and memories and is basically the Monkey King reincarnated, I still kinda see them as two separate beings?

Especially in terms of shipping Destined One x reader LMFAO. IDK I just think this has a potential to be angsty or ending in a tragedy, like yeah you have heard stories of the great Monkey King (or not, depending on your character's backstory). But the monkey you are traveling with doesn't seem anything like the Great Sage you have heard so much about. It's hard to tell what he is thinking or wants but with time you learn how to read the Destined One (see my other hc here). This is the monkey you've been traveling with for some time, protecting you, listening to your woes and shower thoughts. Who made sure you were fed and safe and warm at night.

What does it mean then when he inherits all of Wukong's power and will and memories? Is his personality slowly gonna shift to be more and more like the monkey king's? Did the Destined One ever had a free will on his own? In the game when you die, a lot of times enemies will say "oh you are nothing like him" and that it is also not the first time the Destined One has been here (which I guess is tied to one of the game's ending). I think it's just kinda sad that the purpose of his entire existence is to go find the 6 relics, and then inherit Sun Wukong's memories and be basically the Monkey King reincarnated.

So I'm writing this with my OC in mind, but I feel like if she learns that his whole journey at the end is to become Sun Wukong and be his reincarnation, idk she is gonna absorb that information well. It may suddenly feel like you never really knew the Destined One at all? Was there ever a chance for you to be with him or be together? Once the Destined One inherits all of Sun Wukong's memories, will he still feel the same way about her? will he remember all the good times and bad times and ugly times they went through? I feel like there would be a whole new adjustment period lmfao. ofc this can all still end in a happy ending way, but right now my brain is just stuck in how sad this could also potentially be.

I think part of the reason why I also feel this way is because I am generally not a fan of the whole "past person reincarnated" trope (love isekai though).

I do love the game's ending as it is, but in terms of shipping with an OC or whatever (which is what I always do when I ✨ obsess ✨ over a fictional character), it's not my favorite

15. hello! i have yet another hyper-specific itmf request, so no worries if nobody has any recs lol. i'm looking for any fics that involve a character having to relearn how to communicate with others. like, (re)learning how to speak mandarin or how to act "normal." recovery fics also might count? i've recently realized this is a type of fic i really like for some reason so i'm looking for more! any setting is fine :)

this is weird enough that i want to explain it just to be clearer, so,,,, some examples in fics i've read are: zombie wei wuxian, whose mental faculties are only just coming online after being braindead (in A Corpse Called By Name); and wei wuxian being displaced in time, forced to learn modern mandarin instead of the ancient language he speaks (in The Shade of Old Trees). i know this next one isn't a mdzs fic, but another example would be xie lian in A Long And Slow Recovery, in which he just got out of the coffin and is struggling to act human and recover fully.

as someone really inspired by all your works, i’m very excited for descon and ive always been really curious as to what inspires your stories! alongside possibly drawing from your own personal experiences, was there any specific pieces of media that you drew inspiration for aesthetics, story beats, and character archetypes for descon from?

Well....................Fate and Faith were originally The Owl House selfship (Fate/Belos, not Faith) and self-insert guys. Leander is basically me just taking Belos and making him my oc. Faith in their original iteration was a Grimwalker of Fate made by Belos and passed off as the two's child (Fate was still in Faith's head, it was just a lot more headcanon-y stuff than my own world building). I wanted to keep the reincarnation aspect of Fate and Faith's deal which is what brought the idea of a reincarnating chosen one idea (inspired pretty hard from atla).

The aesthetics are pretty inspired by Gothic Horror kind of things! Frankenstein and Dracula and the like. Desaturated, dark places spaces with gothic architecture and turn of the century kind of design, mansion hidden with secrets and mystery, that kinda thing. Some of the body horror stuff in it is inspired by books like Manhunt, as well as stuff like The Thing, maybe a smidgen of SOMA in regards to like...the existentialism of it all. (descon isn't a horror comic, it's not trying to scare you, but I do take some aesthetic choices from those medias).

ooough there's definitely more, but I'm drawing such a hard blank. I will say though, that most of Descon is about my personal experiences/feelings!! A lot of the stuff that goes into it Feelings Wise is stuff that I talk about with my therapist. It's a super self indulgent story for me!!

Three random idiots were transmigrated into bodies of Konoha toddlers during the kyuubi attack. Each thinking they’re the only one who remembers a past life, they each try to hide it. Coincidentally, they are all assigned to Hatake Kakashi’s genin team since they were only average academy students and don’t have parents to complain about their children being failed via bell test, which happened with the last three teams he was assigned. What follows is three fools trying to hide their knowledge from each other and their jounin-sensei while desperately trying to reach chunin fast enough that Kakashi can teach the actual team seven, and a jounin-sensei who is very confused by his three genin but has so few (read: zero) points of reference for normal twelve year olds raised during peacetime that he can’t tell if they’re weird or not.

fucking hilarious. i'm not usually into multi-inserts but oh my GOD these three are disasters, and kakashi is just so confused. a series of assumptions from all three PLUS kakashi convincing them all that they're Normal.

I like the way that SVSSS give us way more fanfic material than your avarage Danmei. Or the lack of it.

Like, SVSSS must be one of the only Danmei that I know that has fanfics with Self-Inserts, Reincarnation, Transmigration, Fucking Omegaverse, Characther who's a god and less than 20% of them feel "cringe".

Because we basically don't have any Side Characther, Sects, Plants, We don't have shit set in stone. A SVSSS fanfic could be literally like "Shen Yuan takes Shen Qingqiu Body's when Sqq just burned down the Qiu's and now Sqq souls is in (Insert some Binghe's Wife relative or Creature with "amazing" name) as he remembers his past life and is out for blood from Lbg/Hua Hua Palace" And can be the most out of pocket thing and most random stuff that I've ever read and I'll eat that shit up with no complains.

Like, there's no rules. Want to create a Original species? Go ahead, nobody will really care and it fits the Worldbuilding. Original Chatacthers? If you've wrote more than 2 fanfics for svsss then you have at least two. Because you simply can. Because there's a shit ton of unamed side characthers. Want Self-Insert to be Best Friends with SY or any other Characther? You can be a Peak Lord, a Head Disciple, a Demon, nobody will bat an eye because it fits perfectly within the world.

I'm not saying that other Danmei's fanfictions don't gave those or Can't have those, but with Svsss it just comes naturally because there's so many open things in the novel you basically have no bounds. Because Svsss on itself is "Cringe", it's fucking satire.

Just read Shen Yuan internal monalogue throughout the whole novel.

Svsss fanfic authors have a complete different take when writing Omegaverse, I've yet to see a traditional omega verse fic. Compare it to a Mdzs or TGFC abo fanfic it feels totally different.

Like one of the Ship names that is very love is Cumplane. Fucking Cumplane. Svsss fans have no bound because svsss does not have bounds and it's fun. You don't even have to beat yourself up to come with cool and interesting names when there's a incurable poison called "No cure" and a minor characther called "Six Balls".

And if there's Plot holes, something amiss, something that doesn't make sense, way too strong protagonist halo, what do we do?

It's Airplane bro's fault. And the system's fault.

Like the whole "Shen Yuan as Xin Mo" fic is so amazing and it builds up so well, so many oc's, the pacing is amazing.

Now if you came to me with a "Wei Wuxian as Bichen" or "Hua Cheng as Fang Xin" I am ru ning and you all know very well why-

Old Sonic sketches that would lead to my Lost Prince AU(Slight spoilers & lots of rambling)

As the title says this was stuff for a past version of my Sonic stuff before I made my Lost Prince AU. I guess you could say I've been working on this stuff for a long time & these are in a sense the stepping stones to my stuff.

The dates for when I scanned stuff is on the pic cause it's interesting to learn how old these are & cause I had to edit stuff due to images being too light when I scanned them(plus everything was saved as a bmp because png files opened photoshop & I didn't know how to fix it as a kid) but if they're not there I'll mention the date if it's mentioned in the DA posts I got these from in my gallery.

I've put a keep reading due to how long this is(as if I haven't left other long posts without it in the past) & also because it's slightly spoilery for my Lost Prince stuff. Things have been edited/redone over time but there's still some stuff that would be a spoiler for later events in my stuff. I also ramble a lot in this & at points mention stuff meant to go in the current version to show similarities or differences between the old & present versions.

Just a heads up my self-insert Sonicsona cause for some reason I'm just there at points. My Sonicsona went threw a few designs changes when I was younger. This was also before I became a guy.

Another warning is that this was back when I didn't like Amy as much so she's not exactly drawn in a good light at points.(In the more current version I've worked on things)

There's also a bizarre thing at the end that also mentions weird crossovers(scrapped ideas that will make sense later) & mentions of violence. I'm sorry I just thought I'd explain some of this weird plot that has been changed over the years. Again a lot of this is no longer in my version of Sonic.

The moment Sonic disappeared after Sonic Underground. I think I was working on a comic for the series(too ambitious & too much to deal with at the time) with this being a prologue page.

For context Knuckles tried to save Sonic from falling off Angel Island while it was raining & Sonic let go because if he knew neither he nor Knuckles would survive falling off the island if this kept going. The dialogue is muted by the rain, I dunno the context behind Sonic being struck by lightning was because I don't have it in my current stuff.

Jules wasn't originally a mage studying chaos energy just some guy with powers thanks to his studies in chaos energy which he used to heal Sonic. In this he has a locket with him & Sonic in it, I have no idea why there's a doodle of Shadow & Sonic since Sonic won't meet Shadow for 50(in the new one technically 40) years. I think this is a ref to scrapped stuff involving an OC of mine named Kiku that was at one point meant to be Sonic's reincarnation before I scrapped stuff.

A moment of Jules being a parent & cleaning up Sonic I think possibly after finding Sonic.(I'm guessing this since Sonic is catatonic/dissociating due to injuries & amnesia so he wouldn't have tried to run around)

This is based off of a scene from Digimon Tamers I watched as a kid from a scene meant to be a flashback of Jeri being cared for by her dad.

I think this was meant to be comic pages in the style of a photo album. Going off the top pics this is going in a Z or zig zag instead of manga panels like the prologue comic.

So a difference between then & now is that the past version of Jules when he was unable to care for Sonic anymore left him with Vanilla & her husband(this was before I made Cake) while current Jules left Sonic at a hidden home. I think the idea was that Sonic Underground happened only a couple years back instead of 50-40 years ago. Because Vanilla & her spouse weren't born back then & I dunno where Chuck was Jules ended up keeping Sonic alone for safety instead of getting help when Jules couldn't keep an eye on him.

Anyway these two pics are Jules leaving Sonic with Vanilla & her spouse cause he trusts them to keep him safe. Sonic just sits there on the couch.

Second row:

-I have no idea how this guy died, Cake died helping clean up leftover Robotnik bases but that's an idea from later on. Prototype Cake left behind a wife, a baby daughter & an adopted son that kind of blames himself.

-Sonic starts to express himself more as he starts to accept he's in a better place. Here he is interacting with toddler Cream who has started to walk.

-Old design of my Sonicsona with an ex friend's OC Tae, they're only an ex-friend because we don't talk anymore. We kinda drifted apart & I mistakenly weirded her out cause I didn't know how to tone things down until later on.(Also kind of weird due to my wild imagination with weird crossovers & shit) I could go into more detail but I'll just leave it there cause this isn't about past relationships.

I put this in with the post I made with all my past Lara stuff(as in "Fuck you Ken, *makes Lara-Su a Knuxouge kid*" shit), once again I don't know why I gave a child version of her teen Lara's outfit.

So at some point Eggman blinds Sonic & Sonic has been trying to get as far away as possible after escaping. I had no idea when I drew this that Angel Island was a thing thanks to most of my understanding of Sonic coming from fandom stuff & especially Sonic X which either doesn't mention Angel Island or I missed the episode/episodes that do mention it. So pretty much Sonic(after getting patched up & his eyes covered) is wandering the forest & manages to find Lara who is playing out there & decided to play guard.

For some reason I remember that Sonic has no idea who Lara is & Knuckles/Rouge never told him not Lara who each other are. I have no idea why that is & that's been fixed in the present version. Anyway Lara thinks he's a stranger that's getting too close to where the Master Emerald is. I don't remember how this goes but things are eventually sorted out & Sonic is introduced to her later on.

This is the image that needed the warning about past thoughts on Amy, I'm pretty sure she gets better eventually but I might be wrong because I only remember some things.

So Sonic doesn't want anyone to know he's blind & is trying to act like everything is fine but at the same time is acting a little distant at points. Amy is pissed he's ignoring her which has led to her raging & causing a scene, this is has led to Shadow taking notice of how odd Sonic has been lately.

While in this version Amy is mad that Sonic is ignoring her & pissed her attempts at a date are repeatedly rejected at this point(so kind of being selfish) in the current version she'd be mad because she's honestly worried. In the current version Amy would be getting mad because she's worried as a friend that someone she's close to is acting strange along with something clearly being wrong.

So Shadow(who for some reason I give a ponytail in this version) is in the background, Sonic is trying to ignore Amy(who is yelling), my old Sonicsona is pissed at Amy, I think I drew Starrk from Bleach cause he was my husbando at the time, Vector is trying to leave, the one with black hair is Tae(a past friend of mine's OC) & I have no idea who is next to her.

For some context at some point after Sonic was blinded he ended up nearly drowning in a river while it's raining at night. Shadow thanks to Amy's outburst & finally noticing something is off has been trying to keep an eye on Sonic which leads to Shadow partly stripping so he can jump into the river to save Sonic.(Dunno why he stripped since it's raining so he's already wet, I guess so it's easier to go after Sonic)

After getting back on "dry" land Sonic just breaks & cries as he clings to Shadow cause he's just had enough. He can't see, things are changing, he's scared & has just had enough of everything going on. Shadow is shocked cause he's never seen Sonic like this.

This scene hits a little worse in the present version as Sonic purposely fell into the river or was about to cause I dunno if he managed to fall in then get saved or if Shadow stopped him. What makes things worse is that Sonic is a parent when this happens & left his kid with Vanilla cause he knew his kid would be safe with her should anything happen to him. Actually I think Vanilla called Shadow to go find Sonic cause she knew something was going to happen.

Sonic's son(I'm pretty sure someone figured it out but for some reason I'm trying to be vague until a certain point in time) doesn't exist in this version but his younger half brother eventually exists in this. Sadly enough Sonic was pregnant with his son's half brother when Shadow saved him in the present version, not only that Shadow is the father. My explanation is Eggman had a weird cloning ray that went wrong so Sonic ended up with a kid twice. This all is meant to happen when he's older.

For some slightly unnecessary context my self-insert Sonicsona use to live with a bunch of other Sonic fan characters in what was this odd building on the edge of an abandoned city.(For some reason named the forgotten valley cause the city I guess in a way was valley like) The building was full of mysteries & was semi turned into a place for people to live in as well as a place for travelers to stay at with their own rooms.(And Tails Doll in the very bottom basement locked in a mini freezer)

After rescuing Sonic, Shadow took Sonic to my place(apparently it was closer than going home) to get cleaned up & have somewhere safe to rest for the night. After helping Sonic get dry/warm & everyone was settled down Sonic finally confessed to everything that happened as well as the fact he's blind.

Shadow(who I thought it was funny if his fur/quills fluffed up after getting dry, I know this is a bad time for a joke) agrees to let Sonic stay with him & help the blue hedgehog deal with the situation he was currently in. Thanks to helping Sonic recover from the state he was currently in(depressed, struggling to deal/cope with everything) as well as help Sonic learn to navigate around being unable to see the two became close. The two eventually becoming a couple & got married before eventually having kids.

Things go slightly differently in the present version but a summarized version is similar. Shadow finds Sonic, they talk things out & Shadow helps Sonic(plus his son) out. Shadow & Sonic start a relationship while helping Sonic recover. Eventually they get end up in a relationship with Mephiles & get married.

Yeah surprisingly given stuff I made in the past Mephiles isn't in the picture until my recent stuff. I think this is partly due to my Butterfly Effect AU not being a part of this at the time.(Well Silver still got family but nothing else happened)

Please be aware you can ignore everything after the 3rd paragraph(mentioning the short version) if you want. While it explains the end of my child self's(I was in middle school & then part way into high school before changes happened)

This is technically related, this is from some scrapped ideas caused by a younger me having amalgamations of crossovers going threw my head. I imagine crossovers all the time still but not an amalgamation like this.

Before I go into rambling the image is an old version of my OC Kiku, his boyfriend & Lavi(from D.Grayman) who is off camera reacting badly to cooking. The person with the chef hat in the corner is I think named Eri, she's an OC from the person that made Tae & this is a joke about her being unable to cook.

The short version of this is that Kiku was meant to be Sonic's reincarnation & his boyfriend was Shadow's reincarnation.

So for context the tiny character in the corner is the old design of my OC Kiku who is a Blindshipping fankid. In this moment he is some how a Diclonius(from Elfen Lied & no he's not a queen nor ones that are caused from infecting others & age quickly he just has the cat horns & the powers), is a backup Arcobaleno(Katekyo Hitman Reborn), an ex-test subject(inspired by the Maximum Ride manga) & for some reason Allen Walker's(D.Grayman) reincarnation which is why an arrow for Lavi is going off camera & why the guy next to Kiku is meant to look like Kanda.(Because he is) I later stopped the D.Grayman stuff but kept how Kiku's boyfriend looked cause I really liked Kanda's design.

In present day Kiku has been split into two people. The Blindshipping OC Kiku & Chrysanthemum(Nicknamed Sammy) whois suppose to be the son of Martin Mystery from the cartoon of the same name. They are technically each other from different dimensions. Sammy still has the ex-test subject thing but all the other stuff was scrapped. Also Kiku's boyfriend still looks a little like Kanda still due to having some relation to Dark Magician who has a similar hair when Kanda's hair isn't in a ponytail.

So like I mentioned in the short version(just so I could get to the point for anyone that didn't want to look at the rest of the rambling) past me had Kiku meant to be Sonic's reincarnation.

I'm not proud of this but the idea was that my version of the Sonic series ends with Eggman injuring Sonic & faking Sonic's death at a festival before patching him up & putting him in a suit that controlled Sonic. Shadow would raise their kids alone while fighting against this new "robot" until years later on the same night he lost Sonic(during the same festival) before breaking the suit, learning Sonic was alive this whole time & the two dying in a fire finally together & freed from Eggman.

After that some stuff involving Bleach were they were tested on by the captain of the 12 squad. Sonic goes on to meet a girl in the living world & go on adventures with her. Shadow who doesn't remember anything would sometimes show up to keep an eye on them or help. At some point Sonic would finally get Shadow to remember & Shadow would be horrified of his actions. They both have something on them that keeps them connected to the world so they untie/remove what keeps them tethered after saying goodbye to Sonic's friend.

After this they are reincarnated as children that were kidnapped & tested on. Shadow(Called Yu when not being called an experiment code) had two friends that nickname themselves Feather(cause her hair is feathery & looks like feathers tied up) & Sound.(A joke on the fact he refuses to talk & uses sign language) At some point they meet patient BK201(their code name that the doctors call them, also Darker Than Black ref) who all the staff were nervous about because he's too powerful & was under the control of a fucked up doctor(ironic considering these people) before he was removed.

At some point a lot of experiments escape or are killed trying, BK201 fakes Yu/Shadow's, Feather & Sound's deaths so they can be dumped outside & get to safety while the doctors caught BK201. Feather & Sound disappear, Yu/Shadow is taken in by someone, makes friends & at some point remembers his past.

Something led to Yu meeting Kiku(at the time named Chrysnathemum which ironically is what Kiku translates into) & was a bit distant with them but eventually warmed up to them. Yu liked him but was unable to get over BK201 who he believed died after being caught. At some point he found out Kiku was actually BK201, BK201 was forced to be kept on a tighter leash as they did more tests until being rescued & taken to his parents who helped him recover.(Atem & Yugi) BK201's parents also helped take down the organization that kidnapped him & other kids to be experiments.

Yu warms up even quicker thanks to learning this is his missing friend/childhood crush that saved him. At some point they start dating, work on the fact they remember being Sonic & Shadow while going on more adventures. At some point they meet Feather & Sound(who is talking now that he's in a safer place) who turn out to be Blaze & Silver's reincarnations, the two disappeared because they had apparently come from the future & ended up kidnapped while seeing the past.

At the end after many adventures & stuff Yu & Kiku move to the country side to live a peaceful life. Silver & Blaze live with them when Yu & Kiku eventually make it to the time they're from with Silver turning out to be their son. They're all immortal & can finally live their lives in peace without having to worry about Eggman or anything else they dealt with in this new life.

There was some other stuff like at one point Kku being part werewolf/vampire later changed to part mummy(Atem), at one point being part saiyan & having a cousin that was not only part saiyan but Blackfire's(from Teen Titans) daughter & at one point a Mew(I called her Mew Mint Chocolate Chip) before I scrapped it since I don't watch Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power. At one point I also had Atem a revived version of himself but the reincarnation of Tuxedo Mask(Dunno how this works) & Yugi the reincarnation of Usagi from Sailor Moon.

Oh yeah I also for some reason brought in Secret Saturdays by having Manic's boyfriend be Kur who ended up teleporting to Earth & becoming the Kur from the show after something messed him up around the time Shadow & Sonic died. Manic is reincarnated as Kiku's brother which makes sense because Sonic.

There's a lot of crossover shit but I semi forgot about it & I'm only aware there was crossover shit. I've calmed down on some of this & obviously things have changed.

There's no reincarnation stuff with my present Sonic stuff & no crazy crossover stuff. While I often imagine crossover stuff it's calmed down some compared to my past crossover amalgamation ideas.

I'm not going to tell you how Lost Prince AU ends in this but immortality & finally able to be at peace does happen.

ACCOUNT CHANGE!!

Gosh it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Not only here but everywhere I basically stopped rp for four months or so. I am looking to change that though and have a burst of writing spirit (I’m sure Penny will spam ping me if I don’t for too long) to get me through the Spring.

A few things are different this time. While I’m still happy to use the characters, I am slowly leaning away from Danganronpa and going into more multi-fandom stuff. Please don’t shy away from asking for the characters and random pairings. Cross-Fandom pairings like Nagisa x Maki are great! The biggest change though, the new muse is an oc/self insert!

I haven't been getting enough questions about my OCs, so I think I need to post more about them.

Simon Devlyn is the self insert protagonist. Main differences between him and me are that he's polyamorous, a space captain, and in a relationship with a prince and a princess. (Possibly married to them depending on when in the timeline you're following him as well as which timeline)

Theodore Devlyn is Simon's brother, and he's based on some of the nicest aspects of my brothers IRL. I made him one character instead of two despite having two brothers (well three now but two when I had the idea for Starbourne) because I couldn't figure out enough traits for three Devlyn brothers at the time. He's a theatre nerd/wannabe actor/playwright.

Lana Fei is the Princess of Feria, not really based on any one person, but a bunch of people I was friends with back in my brony days. Lana is even named after someone I used to have a crush on from that time, but not based on her alone. She's a descendant of the first Queen of Feria, Aurora.

Eveline Delebleux was actually my very first OC for Starbourne, created before the protagonist to be a love interest for my actual self. I grew out of her when I found real love, and now she's just a character. She's based on some of my earliest crushes, but named (or at least first named) after someone's Warrior Cats OC. (A kittypet, obviously, based on the name) I forgot who made THAT Eveline, but I thought the name was beautiful so I stole it. I decided to make her also a Princess, (specifically of Stellaria) and a reincarnation of Aurora, giving her and Lana some connection before they met.

Lucian Starling was originally created as a love rival for Simon then I discovered bisexuality and polyamory and now the three of them are together in my mind. (Not in the books yet and sorry for the spoilers if you were only going by the books) He is the Prince of Luderia, kingdom of Dreams, and as such his duty is to protect the Dreamscape from invasive forces.

Emberly Florence is the demon Princess, daughter of Demon Lord Teneber, the main villain of Starbourne. She rebels against her father and her twin sister Ashly when she realizes that Teneber's rule is unfavorable even for demonkind. Realizing you're in an abusive relationship (be it romantic or familial) is the first step towards getting out of it, and that's what I wanted to show with Emberly. With a little help from the Felicity Crew, Emberly learns to become a better and happier person.

One thing I absolutely adore about the demon slayer fandom is the abundance of fan fictions.

Quotev, fanfic.net, Wattpad, Webnovel…and best of all AO3. There is something for everyone.

However I am especially fond of the Isekai/Reincarnation/self-insert trope. Where we as the modern reader(or an oc), get transported into the dangerous world of Demon Slayer. I love reading about how we gain the courage to fight back against the demons, to protect our beloved main character or just our faves in general from their pre-destined death. Just so we may get to see them thrive.

How we deal when the plot inexplicably and predictably changes at the addition of one more surviving Demon Slayer.

Or on the off chance that we become a demon. Whichever path the author has chosen for us(perhaps we grow fond of our fellow demons and help them survive or we join the slayer on their quest to end the tyrannical reign of Muzan Kibutsuji.) It is quite fascinating to read, us fighting for what we believe is right, in a world we once thought fictional.

As much as I love this plot, reality and fiction are often quite different.

I want to read a story where we are taken to Demon Slayer, how we marvel at this new yet strangely familiar world. Where we build up a resolve to fight for what we believe in. Only to have it utterly shattered.

I want to see us grow paranoid, anxious, fearful.

We live in a world we’re demons roam around freely in the night. I want to see us realise just how human we are compared to these immortal beings. We were not the main characters—we did not have the armor of plot like these characters.

We did not belong.

I want to see us laying awake at night, breath hitching at the smallest ruffle of winds in the trees, tears filling our eyes as the floorboards creak; eyes flirting around as we hold back a sob as we think this night could be our last. I want us to be completely broken down at the realization that reality and fiction are two different things, to realize that the demon slayers, the Hashira who give their lives to protect the innocent.

I want to see us live the rest of our lives bound by the shackles of paranoia—of this realization that this dream of fighting demons(becoming a Hashira alongside a our beloveds) was simply that.

A dream.

And yes, hard work could possibly put us near the level of those who circumstances forced them to join the ranks of the Slayers. But truly, how many of us modern readers, could truly handle the weight—the sheer pressure—of fighting to keep innocents alive? That each mission you go on could be your last.

Not many of us.

And I feel, a story like that, that highlights the true reality of the Demon Slayer universe—not sugar coated by overpowered ocs and over-ambitious Self-Inserts, could truly be a masterpiece to watch unfold.
