There’s a loud snarling noise outside the window. 

Not that Jazz is concerned. She’s just also trying to study for med school and would appreciate some quiet. And preferred her brother not contracting rabies whenever he tried to square off with the local rogue or three who tried to use the alley. 

As he had put it, it was his alley, he’d claimed it for tinkering. Though perhaps she should maybe ask him to quiet down on his insisted territorialism, even if she understood it. She would also probably maul someone if they tried to enter their apartment flat. It came with the territory of being ecto contaminated, or as the rest of them were now calling it, with being a liminal. 

Once the more draconic aspects started to emerge well, one wasn’t just contaminated anymore after all. Hence the whole school-worth of them leaving Amity while all their parents waged war against the guys in white. Last she heard it was going well. 

Which meant she could focus on her studies as soon as- okay it wouldn’t be quiet, it seems the rest of the kids joined in on mauling the poor idiot who tried to steal their things from the alley. Damn…

TRAITOR VULKAN, LOYALIST CURZE!

How incredibly THEMATIC would it be for the guy whose single defining trait is care for human life (and maybe even other forms of life) to be so disgusted by the Imperium and its actions that he turns his back on it? Only to be branded a villain and a monster? What if Vulkan actually did something with his convictions? How much depth would it add to the Salamanders as a chapter to have them continue to try and protect the people who rejected them? Even as it becomes increasingly painful and impossible? Hell, they already have the element of people being scared of them because they...look different (actually that legit makes me uncomfortable, seriously GW what the fuck? But a lot to unpack) Anyway, that's some actually grimdark shit.

And speaking of grimdark, yeah those guys playing Marco Pollo in the orphan-blood pit? Those are the Imperium's guys! Imperium loves their wacky antics. It's not like Curze didn't get away with all that when he was on team Big E (Vulkan sure objected tho). Isn't that so much more in keeping with the Lawful Evil Meat Grinder Regime the Imperium is supposed to represent? Curze being a traitor is boring. It doesn't say anything! Loyalist Curze reaffirms so much of what the themes of 40k should be.

Using your skywing scale color hc thing, I can imagine skywings having a polytheistic religion around vibrant violet skywings. Which those colored skywings only appear when a specific set of mutations happen within an almost full white skywings that hits just enough of the conditions to allow for the creation of plasma. Shortening their breathe attacks range, and causing their scales to change from bluish-white into a vibrant violet, but increasing their attacks temperature by many times.

This is actually really cool! I would imagine violet skywings would be a kind of scary story or superstition type thing, many believing they are a myth due to their rarity

hey! what is the closest to blue your species can get (asking for feathers/fur, eyes and skin)? also have you made a post about possible patterns they can have? /nf

closest to blue feathers we could get was like a sorta dark-ish silver [looked kinda blue in the shade], n for eyes they were mostly green or yellow, but blues n browns were also possible

wish i had neat art to post but sadly aside from commissions literally all i have been doing is playing dragon adventures. its infected me. i dont know why its infected me so bad but it has. naturally the first thing i did was make falke and her kolibris and im so normal about them guys
