do you think s17 will cause a resurgence in the fandom? like inactive blogs becoming active more fanfiction just a more active fandom in general?

Yes! It always does. Beginning of the resurgence will definitely be when the first official trailer drops (with clips from each (or most) episodes) and then we’ll pick up more and more as we get closer to the premiere.. after the premiere there will for sure be an explosion in fandom posts/fics/art, etc. to build up to the finale and then we’ll continue being pretty active for a few months after, tapering off until we’re back to our hiatus-sized crowd…

It seems like we’ve picked up a ton of new fans in this hiatus (which makes sense, due to the Abbott exposure and prolonged amount of time between seasons) so I’m predicting we have an even bigger fandom for Season 17 than we did for 16! (For some reference, during 16 we were regularly breaking 1k+ notes on dozens of posts about new eps and we charted on fandometrics a few times!)

Honestly feel like a mess lol. The past few weeks/months I have managed to stay on track pretty well but this whole week was such a mess tbh everything is so disorganized in my head and in my room 🥲 It feels like I was untying a complex knot and making some progress and then stepped away for a few mins and now have no idea where to start to get back on track again 😔😭

Illegal street racing especially motorcycle type racing, meaning that heiji goes to one idk something something probably relating to the org and this is 100% for helping Kudo mind you his ass wouldn’t go to one especially with his bike (I have looked into it and apparently is not opt for actual racing) let’s 100% my evil hc that heiji is a motorcycle head (motorcycle enjoyer moment) BUT HES LIKE CASUAL YKNOWW anyway something something org related aside from case related moment so he signing up for it and he’s 100% underdog moment also kaito is here too.

Smirks this is actually a kaihei/heikai thing btw because ouaghh motorcycle boyfriends please on my knees anyways heiji takes a turn wayy to sharp or worst he legitimately falls (he breaks his fall btw expert of crashing and going insane with his bike <3) and but sadly kinda landed wrong so he’s out of da game but fortunately for him kaito saw that and he goes back n like help heiji, which at first heiji is like “fuck shouldn’t done that but it isn’t the worst but huh taken <insert injury here>” and he limps and gets his bike Kaito is like try’s to help but heiji is like no thanks <- stubborn moment but kaito legit just grabs him and carries him :3c MIND YOU HEIJI DOESNT KNOW THATS LIKE KAITO LMAOOO Kaito entered the race for his own information gaining or something so when rocking fully like all black n stuff so somewhat anonymous moment but he does yap and heiji is like there’s no way its Kudo. Then it’s not like ok nvm… but funny enough me thinks Kaito kinda talks that oh that’s a very stupid thing to do and like highly dangerous and etc with heiji type of bike in this setting and heiji is like 💢 yes i know! And they squabble about it lmao me thinks they bonk each other helmets like omg kissing… also something something down the line you get heiji actually recognizing kaito bike one day while visiting Kudo and just trails it lol and taaadaaa that’s how they meet each other

I honestly don't think Crowley has trouble loving Aziraphale. For as guarded and fake a person as he is, he's honestly quite demonstrative. He's always saving him (at immense risk to himself), trying to spend extra time with him, doing him little favors, gently teasing him about silly things, taking him out to eat, asking him to run away with him. He even pays him some genuine compliments from time to time (very cute for a sarcastic liar like Crowley), and even though the sunglasses cover it up quite a bit, he also stares at him a lot.

So no, Crowley isn't afraid to love Aziraphale, he's afraid to be loved back. Or maybe more specifically, he's afraid that if he tries to be actually loved back, he'll be rejected. He's afraid of being vulnerable. But as long as he's the one offering up the love (especially if it's in safe ways like acts of service aka being useful), as long as he's in control of the situation and doesn't need to be taken care of himself or be vulnerable, he's fine.

Addition note: Don't think about how often Aziraphale rejects him, like when he really needed help with the Holy Water, or at the Bandstand or when he told Crowley either he helps with Gabriel or he leaves. Don't think about how often Aziraphale calls him evil or assumes he's done something terrible. And definitely don't think about how that would affect someone who hates themselves and is terrified of rejection.

hehe good. im glad you feel special. it is a very big project, and ive made a little bit of headway with writing it. its a 12 book series, multi-chapter, NOT short stories. i have the entire thing planned out from front to back. no need to be intimidated by that. im just me. unless youre talking about the project, then i get it. it is a lot to look at all at once. it kind of took on a mind of its own and became something i wasnt really expecting. on top of that, i also have plans to go to film school within a few years, with the goal of making all my own books into movies someday. hopefully at NAIT in edmonton. if they have the course that ive been eyeing.

we are fairly familiar with each other, yes. ive been hyper aware about my tags and how i word things, wondering if youll catch any similarities to my messages lol and this is definitely fun. a lot of fun.

as for music, i also listen to bit of everything. recently its been a combination of metal (at the moment a lot of deathcore and metalcore specifically) and blues/jazzy sexy stuff. dont really know how else to describe it lol. same reason you mentioned, it scratches that itch just the right way. other than those its hozier, bad omens, teddy swims, yebba, sooooo many others my mind is kind of blanking. this is super random, but i found a youtube page that makes versions of songs as if it was the medieval times. the one they did of eminem is fuckin fire lmao its called "bardcore". i do listen to some pop artists but these days they just dont hold my attention like it used to.

in the last two years ive gone to quite a few concerts/events with live music. in 2022 i saw shawn mendes in edmonton, which was a big deal, his music got me through a really hard time. and last year was the most jam packed concert wise. i saw ed sheeran in toronto, halestorm and volbeat in saskatoon, and then went to pride-fest in edmonton and saw hyphen hyphen. theyre more of a pop-rock group form france, and the vocalist is insane, i highly recommend checking them out. then in december of 2023 i also saw talk at winterfest. i was in the front row for that and it was so worth the -10 weather.

having full creative control over your stories like that would be the dream, hey? like getting to write AND take the lead on your own film adaptations? PRODUCERS HATE THEM for this 1 SIMPLE TRICK (film school). also I didn't know that NAIT offered courses like film!! I've met people that have gone through graphic design over there, but it's cool that there's more accessible creative courses like that available. I'm doing my degree at [the other large university in town that is not UofA], and sometimes I feel like it would have been more practical to go the technical college route ;w;

you're really in it for the long haul then!! a 12 novel series sounds like a hell of a time/creative energy investment, so I'm sure it'll be incredibly worth the final outcome!

reading the comments of OI stories is so unpleasant sometimes like 😭 i hate seeing people rage and curse at characters who aren't the protags. bro it's not their fault that they're antagonists and they're not even THAT annoying lmao
