Kakuzu and Hidan would portray intimacy in abnormal ways through acts of affection and affirmation but not in the typical romantic sense like cuddling, dates, i love yous or any of the sort. It's more in the way that Kakuzu would help wash off the blood on hidan's skin, reasoning it's because helping hidan fastens the process and lessens his complaining.But there's a weird layer of intimacy and loyalty behind the action of touching anothers body in such a soft way compared to his usual aggressiveness and lack of care. It's in the way that hidan would mindlessly put his arm around kakuzu to see the map to track the direction they're going and there's a minute of hesitance and allowance before kakuzu grabs hidan's arm to shove it off but it seems like he never does; he just grabs it before Hidan relents and drops it.

It's how Kakuzu stiches hidan's body together piece by piece no matter how many times it comes apart he'll forever be there to piece it back together regardless of him insisting he'll kill hidan himself the next time this happens. How Hidan would compliment kakuzu's ability to kill and fight others, having no clue how else to show how much he adores kakuzu's violence. They're stuck together for however long eternity is to eachother and despite the fact that they'll never explicity say they care or even like eachother it's these acts that establish this boundary.

Is having your nails recently done a valid excuse to get out of archery?

Hey, Aphro kid!

I’d argue that no, having your nails done is not a valid excuse, and I’ll tell you why.

Archery, particularly the target shooting we do at camp, is all about form.

We mostly teach Olympic style shooting before getting into the nitty gritty field stuff, where form mostly goes out the window.

There are several different ways to draw your bow, most of which involve how you hold the string. Here's a good diagram of a few.

The common draw techniques we teach are the Mediterranean draw, aka split fingers, or the three under draw.

If you look closely, you can see that when the techniques are executed properly, they would never even tough your nails! If you're damaging your nails while shooting, then you need to adjust your form.

Additionally, there are several tools that you can use, as well.

There are a variety of different clip releases, like these.

They're not really recommended, though, if you're in battle, because it significantly reduces your draw speed in situation where a fraction of a second can be the difference between life and death.

There's also these silicon finger tabs.

However, they're not going to do much other than preventing calluses on your fingers. They may help reduce the risk of catching a nail by placing a little more distance between your finger and the string. Ultimately, they will still pose some risk, because you'd have to take more time to accurately knock your arrow.

The only who can sometimes get out of archery when he’s not hurt is Percy Jackson. But that’s because when he tries to do archery, he’s so bad that he’s a danger to himself and everyone around without even trying. His first time trying, his arrow somehow ended up in Chiron's tail. Chiron was standing behind Percy! It's literally impossible for anyone else to be that bad.

Anyways, basically, as long as you keep your nails within a reasonable length (maybe 5-ish millimeters?) and you practice good technique, you should have no issues with damaging your nails.

I'll definitely write an actual Guide page about doing archery in the future! It's one of my favorite camp activities, so I'm totally gonna put a lot of research into it! And I'll include tips from some others, like the Apollo kids!

for the megumi and the world's most inconvenient custody battle, i just head canon geto and gojo screaming at each other in front of kfc (AGAIN) and the conversation goes something like:

The funny thing is that Megumi actually have no awareness of Gojo at all during the custody battle due to the intricacies of the binding vow (there's a clause where Megumi has to kill himself if Gojo intervenes at all during the span of the agreement. Geto wanted the clause to be that Megumi has to kill his sister, but Megumi threatened to kill Geto and then himself if he made that the clause. Geto doesn't actually want to make Megumi kill himself, it's just a dead man's switch to keep Gojo from swooping in and ending the entire thing prematurely. There's nothing Geto can do to actually stop Gojo, but he can deter Gojo with the consequences of a binding vow which even Gojo cannot break, and he knows Gojo won't actually risk his son, so he'll let the entire thing run it's course naturally). So it's just:

Megumi: *very grumpily going ice skating with Geto's twins because he's under binding vow to play nice and cooperate with the cult members during the terms of the vow*

Geto and Gojo, squatting behind a vendor's cart: *having the world's quietest and most hostile divorcee bitch fight*
