Mattheo never spent Christmas celebrating like you did

There could be something "forbidden" about your first kiss, like the person is much older, you work together, there could be something more taboo about it. Your kiss can be quite watery, you might produced more saliva when you are about to kiss. You want your kiss to feel how you feel watching a kissing scene in the movie. Your first kiss could happen at the cinema, movie theatre, in a hotel, in a restaurant, at a resort, at the pool, in a night club, when stargazing, at a live concert, during Netflix and chill, in the summertime, at night, in the shower/bath, during a creative activity (DIY, painting), at an aquarium, under water, near a body of water (sea, lake, ocean), on a boat/cruise, while travelling to a distant land (new continent), while you are relaxed, at a gallery/museum even at the hospital. You could have your kiss at significant point of loss in life (like after a funeral, after someone died and someone else is consoling you). You might even cry before or shortly after. You might be intoxicated during your first kiss (alcohol, weed, drug, other substances). You could be nervous before, so you might also take a shot or some sort of liquid courage (not that I encourage it) to hype yourself up and to calm, relax. Music can be involved, however there could also be complete silence during kiss or it's pitch black dark, so it could definitely happen in the night-time. You might be watching the sea, there could be a storm, rain or even thunders. Person that you kiss can be a summer crush or someone you met at a camp, could be a foreigner (a different country, but also could be from a different continent). Your person can be a musician, someone who plays an instrument, someone you admired from afar, a long-time crush or someone you had a secret crush on, even someone you didn't confess feelings too, but you kissed them anyway, hoping they would know. For your kissing style in general, I think you are also the type to kiss someone even when ill. Or you especially want to receive kisses when ill or feeling sick. You might try to "steal" a kiss from someone. You always want your goodnight kiss. Kissing help you sleep better and relax. You like pillowtalk and kissing. You get caught midst kissing or someone interrupts you. You could feel like you are hiding somewhere from others (a spot away from the party, in a closet, a different room) to get alone time. You might also be a bit forgetful about kissing, if not supported by a fire house or a fire degree. You might much prefer cuddling, intimate long hugs and not see kissing as all that. Be mindful that people you kiss might not be as intuitive as you or "feel the connection or the moment", so learn to maybe ask before since you might not signal clearly that you are about to kiss someone (you might not ask or be very quiet about it), consent is important. People can be very clueless you are about to kiss them, they might not see it coming even if it was very obvious to you. Or you could feel like this about your own first kiss. There could be a photograph of you and your person kissing or it might be caught on a video. Maybe the kiss was done in secrecy (not that it was intentionally kept a secret, but you wanted it private and intimate) or only you two know about the kiss. You might journal about your first kiss, like your write the date down in a secret journal. Maybe you kissed someone for a bet. You might also not tell that this is your first kiss, lie or pretend that you kissed other people before or you could keep it a secret.

Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! We leave another astrological year behind today. While it will be nearly midnight here in the Atlantic, 11:06 PM to be exact, most of my audience won’t technically experience the shift until tomorrow.

The Moon starts off today in Cancer, her favorite place to be, where we can continue to be caring and nurturing. While here, she’s in a beautiful trine with both the Sun and Neptune in Pisces so our focus and our intuition are working together inviting us to dream big and realize that true knowledge is knowing that everything is possible.

By mid afternoon Luna shifts into the sign of Leo where the energies start to shift quite drastically from emotional water to action oriented fire. The commonality here is we get to stay on the creative side of things, helping us bring those dreams into reality.

The Leo Moon will immediately oppose Pluto in Aquarius where feelings intensify. Any truths you’ve been ignoring lately will be in your face today causing dramatic mood swings. Do your best to control your emotions and watch your behavior for impulse reactions.

Today is a good day to reflect on the past year and see if you’re on track with the goals you set for yourself. The Folk Practices I Grew Up With and The "Wheel of The Year"

If you follow the path of being a folk witch or folk practitioner, you will likely find that some but not all of the so-called "Wheel of the Year" is embedded in the historical traditions of your community. Most cultures have honored the changing of the season (as their seasons happened) in some way or fashion but if you are from a non-Eurocentric culture or live in a zone without the concrete four-season shift, the practices might be quite different.

Unless you are in on a tradition that demands that you follow the Wheel of the Year, you don't have to. Don't let the internet - or witch books - tell you any differently.

It is completely okay to forge your own path. It is completely okay to celebrate the changing of the seasons when they change for you. It is completely okay to pick a couple of local festivals of historical significance and carve your own holidays or traditions out of them.

I live in Southern New England and, as such, I have been exposed to 6/8 of the "Wheel of the Year" holidays for my entire life. The Hallows should be obvious as I am an American. My Nana taught me to celebrate Mayday by making baskets for people that I loved and leaving them at their doors. (I also think that I learned a maypole dance in preschool but I digress) My elementary school had two major festivals for Yuletide and the Spring Equinox where the whole school put on a seasonal celebration for our parents and friends.

As I began to study astrology as an adult - the immediate significance of the equinoxes and solstices became evident: they are the beginning of 00 Aries (Spring equinox), 00 Cancer (Summer solstice), 00 Libra (Fall Equinox), and 00 Capricorn (Winter Solstice). They demarcate the year and the seasons - each being the start of a new season being led by one of the Moveable/Cardinal signs.

As such, they are important days to me and I will keep celebrating them. I choose to call them Yule and Midsummer (what I was taught that they were called as a child) but don't have better names than the Spring and Fall Equinoxes.

The dichotomy of Mayday/Hallows Eve is important to me - in particular - likely because it is strongly represented in my birth chart. I am a double Taurus (Sun conjunct Ascendant) with my Sun tightly opposed to Uranus in Scorpio. I live this contradiction in all parts of my life - all flowers and bones like the good little goth kid I will always be.

But that's just me - that's my path. My whole life has led me here.
