Soldier boy
Avatar twow au
(Ok yes I have to do my other fandoms but I couldn’t get this out of my head sooooo here we are again(ps anyone waiting for brother mine to update I’m sorry I’m trying😭 just can’t seem to write the chapter! But fear not bc I will!…..eventually)
(Also this is movie universal & Spider is the only human child/human born on Pandora bc plot)
•••
So the idea is that they didn’t manage to send all the humans back to earth because some of them escaped and started their own building thing, and these are basically the RDA and they took Spider with them.
So bridgehead develops a little slower and they’re constantly having mini battles with the Navi but they don’t really become a big problem until the movie time.
So no one in the RDA really wanted to raise Spider, and they were going to dispose of him. Then they had the idea of,
Oh wait a minute, this is Quaritches kid! We can use that!
So they start training him to become the best little human soldier from the minute he can walk. The way they see it, they can train him to be perfectly adapted to survive Pandora and have him be loyal to them. Besides if it doesn’t work they can use him as insurance with Quaritch when they bring him back.
So Spider grows up, learns how to fight (clean & dirty).
Becomes a fabulous climber and can move almost silently thus earning his nickname/ code name
Has amazing aim, both natural and because of years of forced practice.
Can hold his breath longer than most people thanks to years of training him to survive incase his mask breaks.
Maybe he can speak Navi pretty well thanks to them wanting someone to be able to understand the natives so they have him watch old science logs.
He pretty smart but most ppl think he’s dumb due to his lack of most formal education.
And despite how much they try to make him into an emotionless machine, it doesn’t work, like really doesn’t work. He’s a big softy who loves to joke around. He’s kind of learned to shut it down when he’s training bc it will get him into trouble, but sometimes he can’t help but laugh his ass off.
He learns a lot from watching the logs, he’s watched the same logs of Grace and Norm and Jake over and over again, supposedly to study them and learn how to defeat the enemy. But he ends up being fascinated by all the things he learns, starts become more interested in the natural ways of Pandora (bc the RDA never bothered to assume that he wouldn’t just automatically be loyal so they didn’t really try)
Of course from the minute he was old enough to wear a mask they had him do survival training in the forest.
At first it was just day time, then it became nighttime. Eventually they stared leaving him to survived. Then they would take him somewhere and have him find his way back before he was out of oxygen.
Spider learns to love these times, to feel at peace in the forest, of course he becomes the an even better climber, learns to navigate through the trees almost silently.
Then the Recoms are brought back and it’s Spider who helps them through the forest.
When they catch the sully children spider feels bad for Tuk as she looks so little and scared. The big softy in him can’t take that.
When Neytiri attacks, Spider helps free Tuk secretly, maybe he cuts her hands free, maybe he accidentally drops his knife within her reach.
When all hell breaks lose Spider makes a run for it, still ends up falling from an branch and passing out, BUT, it’s Jake who takes him instead of Quaritch
So this time is Jake trying to get info about the RDA from Spider, not harshly bc Jake can’t bring himself to really hurt the kid.
When the Sullys run they have to take spider (who’s already starting to like them) with just to make sure the RDA can’t find him and get all the information(no matter how little) he has about where they are, also that the RDA just think he’s dead and not that the sullys have a weapon to use against them.
Spider gets begrudgingly accepted my the Metkayina thanks to be able to hold his breath, without his mask, and because he’s a pretty good fighter thanks to his training
(Eywa also May have had some influence bc he’s still her special little human)
The just loads of adapting & realising that Spider didn’t have a childhood and doesn’t know how to not act like a soldier for the most part.
Every adult seems to not be okay with this at all because children are gifts from the great mother!!
So Soldier boy Spider gets his family & a fresh start, Jake gets a human son, and Neytiri……….Neytiri gets a headache
•••
So yeah that’s an idea I’ve had! Now that it’s out I can finally add more to my other stuff!
I actually really like this idea so I might do something more with it? Let me know if that would be something you’d like!
My asks are open and you are welcome to ask anything about this cuz I love other ppls ideas/thoughts
As always, I hope you enjoyed ❤️

Family Sacrifices Pt.2 (Yandere Platonic Yandere Sully Family)
Tumblr media
Read Part 1 here.
The first thing you saw were bright lights as your ears filled with beeping.
You woke up to Norm checking your vitals, spitting out the water he was drinking in shock at your sudden consciousness. He rushed to do some tests, mainly on your reaction time to make sure your brain was working properly. The light that shined in your eye hurt bad, but you didn't dare tell Norm about your splitting headache, knowing if you did so you'd give him a heart attack.
Soon after Norm explained your condition to you. You've been in a coma for around 3 months. You were almost killed that day in the water, your family being devastated. Every week or so, Jake would come and visit you, which is where the many, many gifts came from, all handmade. They sat on a table near your bed, and you could tell what was made by who by the craftmanship.
After your attack, you were flown off to the research base for urgent care. You were in surgery for a few hours, it being a struggle to get the bullet out without damaging your lungs. Thankfully, they were able to remove it without damaging any vital organs, however you didn't recover as fast as they hoped. Instead, you were in a coma, terrible news to the family who wished for you to come home to them.
You didn't know how to feel about all this, in your head it felt like a flash, everything happening in a few seconds. One moment you were gasping for air surrounded by your family, the next you were with Norm. You were confused more than anything, maybe it was shock. Norm could tell you were lost by the vacant expression on your face, gently taking your shoulder to comfort you.
"Don't worry (Y/N), recovery shouldn't take that long. In no time you'll be back home in no time." Suddenly, he gasped, giving you a dorky smile, "Oh, Jake should be here in a day or two. I bet you'll be happy to see him huh?"
You nod, clearly in another world, but Norm didn't seem to mind. Left to get you some food, coming back with a sandwich, Jell-O, and some juice, which you inhaled.
Felling content after your meal, you go attempt to get up from your bed, being halted by a sharp pain in your chest. Norm stops you quickly, moving you back down to your bed.
"Woah, hold up their kid, you're still recovering, believe it or not." She smooths out your blanket and give you a stern look, as stern as Norm can muster, "don't get up without anyone's help, got it?" You nod, getting a pat on the shoulder before he walks out of the room to get some doctors.
---
Recovery was the worst. At least in Jake's opinion.
Having to watch you struggle to breath as you move even a few small steps causes Jake pain of his own. Of course, he was ecstatic to her news of your recovery, and it took everything to keep him from telling his family, but he didn't want them to overwhelm you. Jake knew if Neytiri or Neteyam heard about you waking up, they'd be on their Ikran's before he could get a world out.
Jake watches from a distance with Norm as you and another doctor do breathing exercises together. Norm explained it to him, something about building up strength, he wasn't really listening. All he cared about was making sure you were okay to be sent back home with them, but Norm quickly shot that down.
"I'm just saying Jake," Norm whispers, pretty loudly due to their height difference. "I'd be dangerous to take them so soon." Jake's eyes don't leave you. "Just think of all the factors. Flying on an Ikran, swimming, hell, even just walking too fast can knock the wind out of them." Jake side eyes him.
"Are you questioning my ability to take care of my child?" Jake grumbles out. Norm jumps, surprised at the sudden hostility. Jake's eyes were back against his head and his tail was upright and ridged.
"No! No, of course not." Norm shakes his head, "Its just-"
"It's fine Norm, don't worry." Jake pats him on the back, a little too aggressive judging by Norm's slight discomfort.
"I'll take them home tonight." Jake smiles, "The kids miss them." Norm chuckles and nods, ignoring the sinking feeling in his stomach as Jake walks over to you.
---
You were asleep the whole Ikran ride. Jake took you late at night, packing all the medicine and machines you needed. Most of them were portable and could be used without an outlet.
Neyetam was waiting for him on the docks by their home. He shot up when he saw him, rushing over to help his father off his Ikran.
Neyetam never looked directly at you, avoiding you small body. He was afraid. Afraid that if he looked at you, he would see you bloody and broken, begging for him to help you, and he would be unable to do anything.
Jake carefully shifts you into his arms, shushing you when you stir in your sleep. "Neteyam." Jake calls. "Take your siblings stuff into the Marui." Neteyam doesn't bat an eye as he moves to take your belongings inside.
Inside the Marui, Neytiri was restless. She just got her other children asleep, giving up with Neteyam as she knew he wouldn't listen. She could focus as she passed around the room, waiting for her husband to walk in.
"Ma'Jake." She says nearly out of breath as he walks in with you, looking at your small frame with tears in her eyes. She cradles the part of your face that isn't blocked by the oxygen mask, her smile being mixed with a sob as she feels your warmth in her hand.
"They oxygen mask." Jake watches you carefully, "Its bigger cuz they need more air."
Neytiri ignores him, "Let me hold them." Jake doesn't question as he moves you to her arms. He's reminded of when you were much younger, when you'd fall asleep after a long day of playing, and Neytiri would lull you in her arms, singing you songs as she just watched you breathe.
Jake smiles as he leaves the Marui to help his son, happy his family is finally back together.
---
The days weren't exactly the same, but none of the Sully's really minded.
Jake was quick to explain your condition and how they had to be extra safe with you. No ruff housing, no swimming or flying, and no putting you in any danger. His children didn't argue, not wanting you to be sent away again.
You had to do treatments every day before you went to bed. Most of the time Jake would help you with it, him or Neytiri was she learned how to work all your machines.
Today however, both of your parents were busy, and while you were going to do it yourself, Neteyam offered to help.
"I know I'm not dad, but I don't want you doing it on your own."
"Okay." You pat the spot next to you on the ground, "Come, sit."
You hand him another mask, moving to clip your off. Neteyam panics, eyes darting from the mask in his hand to your face, "What are you doing?"
You give him a confused look, "Oh, I have to switch the masks, could you help me?" Neteyam nods, albeit slowly. He shifts behind you, listening as you take a deep breath. Neteyam's hands shake as he moves you mask off your face, rushing to put the other one on so fast he nearly misses a few clasps. Eventually, he gets it on, allowing him to finally breathe.
You push the mask up slightly to fit it better as you press a button the mask is connected to. In an instant, the machine makes a low buzzing sound, smoke traveling up the tube to your mask. Neteyam assumes it's medicine his dad was taking about.
You take a few deep breaths as the medicine fills your lungs. Neteyam watches you closely, analyzing your face. You look is distant, far away like you in another planet. You've been so quiet since you've come back, even Lo'ak and Tuk aren't able to get you to laugh like you once did.
"Hey." Neteyam starts, grasping your hand to gain your attention. "What's wrong. You've been so quiet. "You don't respond instantly, which scares Neteyam. The only sound was the buzzing of the machine. "You know always be here for you, right? I'm your big brother, I'll always protect you, no matter what." He chokes up at those words. He couldn't protect you that night. The reason why your tided up to these machines are because of him.
"Do you think I'm a burden?" You ask suddenly.
Neteyam gawks, "What?"
Your eyes are red and watery, "It's just, even before...you know." You pause and Neteyam's look sharpens, "I've always had to have one of you take care of me. I was the reason for the RDA's attack here. I've caused so many problems." Your worlds become more of sobs as you continue to speak, your breathing becoming labored. Neteyam rubs your back, breathing with you and waiting for you to calm down.
Once your breathing calms, Neteyam looks at you carefully, grasping both of your hands. "(Y/N), look at me." You do, your eyes still blotchy and red.
"You are, and never have been, a burden to us." He says sternly, "Your family" he says with conviction, shaking your hands a little. "It's our job to take care of you."
You roll your eyes and look away. "I know but-"
"No buts." He says, smiling as you giggle. He pulls you into a hug, careful to not disturb your mask while also hugging your tight.
"Thank you, Neteyam." You sigh.
"Don't worry about it." He says playfully. He slowly pulls you out of the hug, patting you on the head. "Let's get this off of you, mom and dad should be home too." He removes the clasps from your mask after turning off the machine. "The others too."
---
The rest of the night was uneventful, and thankfully Neteyam didn't tell anyone about you moment earlier.
However, you couldn't get it out of your mind, your head filled with so many thoughts you could barely keep up. You were a burden, you knew it. You caused so much trouble for so many people, including the only family you've ever known.
You can't stand yourself sometimes, all these negative emotions piling up until you couldn't handle it. Tonight, was one of those nights. You snuck out to watch the water below. You weren't allowed to swim with your siblings, your parents being afraid you get hurt.
It was calming, until it wasn't.
You would tell Jake was coming before you saw him. Your body tensed up when he sat down next to you.
"You supposed to be in bed."
"I couldn't sleep."
Jake's eyebrows wave slightly at your sudden response. He grumbles, watching you kick your feet in the water.
"I know what your talk with Neteyam." You don't react to his worlds, prompting him to continue.
"You're not a burden." He said, wrapping his arm around you, his body filling with warmth as you lay your head on his chest. "You our kid, my kid."
He rubs your arm, shaking his head, "None of this was your fault." He whispers, his hold slowly tightening, "It was them. Not you."
When Jake's sure you're asleep he kisses the crown of your head and picks you up. He stares at you for a while, reminiscing on you being a little kid and when he could protect you from everything. He wishes things would go back to the way it once was. When you were small and innocent.
"Never again." Jake whispers as he leads you back into the Marui, swearing to never let you be hurt again.

When Feelings Feel Like Too Much
Sometimes life feels like it’s too much. Everything is too much.
The sounds of the forest and highcamp that you love so much begin to hurt your ears, and give you a headache. Birds chirping which would usually bring you joy made you feel like your ears were being stabbed by a knife. Every slight noise hurts, making you increasingly more and more irritated.
The light from the sun seemed too bright during the day, and the fires at night burned your eyes. The feeling was unbearable, like you would rather be blind than have to deal with the overwhelming pain the bright lights brought you. You were always squinting, trying to keep the light as low as possible, and your eyes were starting to pay the price, they stung when you would close them.
Smells were sickening, to the point of gagging. Even flowers you used to love the smell of were making you feel sick. It made you sad you couldn’t enjoy them anymore, but it seemed like there was nothing you could do to help.
Your favorite clothes made you itchy. They made you feel like your skin was burning, like you were set on fire. Nothing was comfortable to wear. On top of that any touch from your family felt like burns too. Every hug from Tuk, every gentle touch from Kiri, anytime Lo’ak would smack you jokingly, Neteyam’s pats on the head. It all burned.
Your favorite foods started tasting off. Some foods would taste too spicy, some fruits tasting too sweet, some foods just tasted gross in general. The off taste made you lose your appetite every time, like your mom had somehow messed up the recipe.
Your mom, Neytiri. She was always there for you, she loved you more than anything else, just like the rest of the family. She would do anything for you, sacrifice her own life to save yours. You loved her, but sometimes you couldn’t stand spending time with her. She never did anything wrong, but your mood was just too sour and you didn’t want it to rub off on anyone else.
Your dad was the best of all. You were one of his baby girls, and he would never let you forget that. You were so special, irreplaceable, but you felt replaceable. You didn't feel special, not in any good way at least. You felt special in the fragile way, in an anything could hurt you way.
You felt like you couldn’t share your burden with anyone. Nobody could know. Your brain told you nobody would even care if they knew, although you knew that was just the negative thoughts in your head. As those thoughts nagged you you sunk deeper and deeper into the depths of your emotions.
Most nights after you were supposed to be asleep you would sneak off to have some alone time. Some time to process your emotions, on your own. You couldn’t process them around other people.
When you were overwhelmed, everything about being around people was too much. Even the sound of their breathing would be enough to cause a breakdown.
So you sat in your special place, alone.
It was beautiful, and if you weren’t so upset every time you came maybe you could admire it a bit more. A small pond was hidden in a particularly dense part of the forest, where nobody really went. Little fish swarmed your feet as they dangled in it from where you were sitting.
You didn’t really cry, not anymore. It felt as if you had cried all the tears you had, leaving nothing left besides sorrow and sadness, with no way to express those emotions. No way to release them into the world.
You felt numb, maybe that’s why you couldn’t cry. Maybe numb wasn’t exactly the right word, you felt things, but they were bad, and you couldn’t feel anything good. You were never happy, never excited. Everything good was just numb, not there.
You had tried to get yourself to feel something in many ways, but the only way to feel something was by hurting yourself. By running a knife along your forearms. Even then the feelings were short lived. It was like a high you couldn’t stop chasing.
You wanted to feel excited and happy but nothing would evoke those emotions inside you. You used to be so positive, and every little thing could bring your sour mood up. Now it was different.
You know your parents were trying to help with that, bringing you your favorite fruits, or telling your favorite stories from when you were little. They knew something was wrong and you’d be dumb or in denial if you didn’t realize that.
Since they had noticed you had started becoming a better actress, pretending everything was fine. They couldn't know the extent of your problems. They would be mad, sad, and worst of all disappointed. You didn’t think you could take that disappointment.
Even when you realized your parents noticed you were off, something that you didn’t notice was your dad’s actions. He had been trying so hard to help you, from the sidelines, where he was most comfortable.
He had begun following you around more, watching you to make sure you were okay. He felt weird watching you from a distance, but his fatherly instincts to protect and make sure his kids were okay overpowered the awkwardness.
He had even noticed your habit of sneaking off at night. He brought it up to Neytiri who said she wanted to follow you, but he felt it needed to be him. Tonight he set his plan into action, following behind you as you made your way through the forest. He stayed far enough back that you wouldn’t notice him, slinking through the shadows.
When you arrived at your destination he hid behind a tree, observing you. When you didn’t move, or do anything but stare at your feet in the water for a while he decided to make his move. He needed to figure out what was wrong, what was going on.
Your dad approached you carefully, slowly, like if he made any sudden movements you would scatter away, “What’s wrong baby girl?”
You were startled by his presence, but quickly turned your body away from him as he sat down next to you, “Nothing. I’m fine.”
He sighed, taking a deep breath afterwards, “I can’t help you unless you tell me what’s wrong. All I want to do is help you.”
Tears built at your waterline as you thought about what to tell your dad. You could tell the truth, bring forth all of your emotions and admit you had a problem, a big problem. A problem you couldn’t solve on your own. A problem you desperately wanted help with, but just couldn’t seem to ask.
You breathed in, then out, deciding it was best to tell your dad, “Dad, I hurt.” He can’t help you unless he knows what’s wrong.
Jake was still turned towards you while you faced away from him. He moved slowly, gently placing a hand on your shoulder, trying to be comforting, but it was enough to make the tears start streaming. Finally something to make you cry after feeling like you couldn’t for weeks.
He asked, “Where baby girl?”
You sniffled, exhaustion from your pent up emotions was starting to make you groggy, making your body feel heavy but you picked up your hand, and pointed to your head, “Up here.”
Jake didn’t make you look at him as he spoke to you, your responses were enough for now. It hurt you were hiding your crying from him, but he understood you might need some space.
He continued to be careful with you, using broad questions, “Okay, where on your head.”
You mumbled, “Inside.”
He hummed, “A headache?”
You sighed then, turning to him for the first time where he could see your tears. The sight of the liquid streaming down your face, and your little sniffles and hiccups from crying, hurt him more than anything he had ever experienced before.
He brought you into a hug as you spoke, “No my emotions. They don’t feel good. I never feel happy and I feel like everyone’s eyes are always on me. I’m paranoid that the RDA and Quaritch are always right around the corner. I always feel so overwhelmed. It hurts and the only way I can stop it is by hurting myself.”
Jake took a second to think, forming another open question, “So you’re depressed?”
You shrugged as good as you could in his arms, “I guess…”
He just squeezed you tighter for a second, and for once a hug felt nice, not too overwhelming, “Oh sweetheart, I’m sorry. Can I see where you’re hurting yourself?”
You shook your head quickly, “No. You’re going to tell mom and she’s going to be upset.” Pausing, thinking before you speak, admitting your biggest fear, “You’re going to be upset.”
“I promise I won’t.” He hummed for a second, an internal battle going on. He wanted to be open with you, to let you know you weren’t alone, “Let me tell you something, I’ve felt how you’re feeling right now. All of it. I was depressed when I was on earth, nothing seemed like it was able to help me, and I used unhealthy coping mechanisms. I’m also always paranoid that Quaritch is right around the corner. I have nightmares that he’s gotten you or one of your siblings. So I feel your pain. All of it. I just want to help, so please show me and I can help.”
After hearing all of that, your fathers admission, and that you weren’t alone in this you couldn’t stop the sobs that wracked through your body. They were harsh and strong as you breathed heavily and quickly, almost hyperventilating.
Jake didn’t know what to do, it felt like he was paralyzed all over. So he just held you, trying his best to be comforting as he took deep steady breaths for you to copy as you began to calm down after a few minutes.
“Are you ready to show me?” He asked.
You simply nodded, yes, before baring your wrists to him. They were covered in thin lines, some older and more scabbed over, but more were new and red, still barely crusted over by blood.
Jake’s breath caught in his throat, it felt like it was closing up. He couldn’t bare to see them anymore so he grabbed your hands, flipping them back over and holding them.
“I’m sorry.” Is all he could say. Too many thoughts were going on in his head to say anything else. His mind was jumbled, thoughts scattered around, wound around each other.
You sighed, “Why are you sorry? I should be the one saying sorry.”
Jake shook his head, “You have no reason to say sorry. I’m sorry you didn’t feel comfortable enough to come to me with this.”
You sniffled, trying to hold back more tears that wanted to fall, “I didn’t come to you because I thought you would be mad at me… disappointed.”
He squeezed your hands that were still held in his, “I could never be mad at you for this.”
A small smile tried to rise on your face, “So, you’re not upset with me?”
Jake sighed, thinking, “I wish you would have come to me sooner, but no, I’m not upset.”
“Okay…” Was your simple reply, but it was enough.
Jake couldn’t stop himself from pulling you into another hug. As he held you he muttered, “I love you.”
You let out a content sigh, a smile really coming to your face, “I love you too dad. Thank you.”
Now when feelings feel like too much you can go to your dad. You have someone to lean on, and that seems like enough to start recovering from your deep depression.
You will start recovering. You will feel better.
It will get better.

Soooo I’m a sucker for Jake sully and Neteyam. I don’t mind either of them but could you perhaps idk write something with a female omaticaya reader. Where she is in an argument with Jake or Neteyam. Something with the reader getting hurt due to not listening to not join the fight against the sky people or something like that. (Let’s just pretend Neteyam never died TTATT). Them being furious and cold towards the reader where it ends up in a heated argument…but with a fluff ending.
Sᴀʏɪɴ’ Tʜɪɴɢs Tʜᴀᴛ Yᴏᴜ Cᴀɴ’ᴛ Sᴀʏ
➜ Pairing: Neteyam x fem!Omitikaya!reader
➜ Summary: You’d ignored Neteyam when he told you to stay back and ended up getting hurt saving his life. Now as you sit together in silence while patching him up, he can’t help but feel it’s his fault.
➜ Warnings: Mentions of blood and injury, mentions of death, Neteyam blaming himself, angsty (?) at first but fluff ending
➜ Word Count: 1.1k
➜ Notes: I’m already so close to 400, what??

The minute you returned to the Metikayina village you knew you were in for it. You’d avoided Neteyam as much as you could, which wasn’t exactly hard because you had a bullet wound in your shoulder that was bleeding profusely and needed to be treated, giving every excuse in the book as why you needed to be somewhere else and not in the Murui pod with the rest of the Sully family, until finally Neytiri had to be pulled away for something and handed him of to you to finish treating the cuts all over his body because Kiri was asleep and neither of you wanted to wake her. So, you were stuck gritting your teeth through the pain of moving your arm and doing your best to ignore the pounding headache that was coming on.
Your adrenaline was long been gone, as it was almost an hour after the fight, but as you sat next to him, finishing the stitches on his last wound where the bullet had just barley grazed him before hitting you, and listening to your thundering heartbeat, you felt as if it was still pumping through your veins.
Your adrenaline was long been gone, as it was almost an hour after the fight, but as you sat next to him, finishing the stitches on his last wound where the bullet had just barley grazed him before hitting you, and listening to your thundering heartbeat, you felt as if it was still pumping through your veins.
Neteyam hissed as you tugged on the string a bit too harshly as you tied off the final row of stitches.
“Sorry,” you whispered. It was probably the first word you’d said to him since you’d gotten back.
“You have bigger things to be sorry about,” he mumbled back, annoyance lacing his tone and you winced. The time had come.
“Before you say anything,” you said quickly, jumping to defend yourself “I know you told me to stay back but-” Neteyam cut you off sharply, bottled up rage pouring into his words.
“You got shot – fuck – if it had even been a little closer to your heart, you would have died!” It was rare that Neteyam would curse, especially when speaking with you, and he almost never raised his voice either, so instantly you understood just how angry you’d made him. Even so you couldn’t help raise an eyebrow at his statement.
“Me gotten hurt?” you asked bewilderedly, “I saved your life! If I hadn't been in there that bullet would be in your heart!” you jabbed a finger into his chest harshly to emphasize your point.
He scoffed shaking his head as you turned away to pack the needle and thread back into the first aid-kit Norm and Max had left behind after their last visit to help Kiri. You understood how lucky you’d been to get away from the scene with your life when many others hadn't.
“I knew what I was getting into though!” he said angerly, and that ticked you off.
Snapping the case closed roughly, you whirled around, and it caused pain to shoot down your arm, but you simply gritted your teeth even harder and ignored it “Do not discredit me. I knew exactly what I was getting into. I knew the risks just as well as you did,” you said furiously.
He gritted his teeth, “That still doesn’t change the fact that I specifically told you to stay back.”
“I couldn’t just let you go out there alone!”
“But that was what I asked of you!”
You shook your head, “If anything had happened and I wasn’t there to at least try and save you, I wouldn’t have been able to live with myself.” He didn’t reply, wordlessly dragging a hand down his face in frustration. The silence was deafening as he thought, the air so thick with tension you could cut it.
“What if you had died saving me tonight?” he finally asked, “How would I be able to go on, knowing that I was the reason you weren't there with me?” You were taken aback, stuttering to answer him as he pressed you for an answer that you couldn’t provide him with.
“But I didn’t,” you said after a moment, your voice firm and confident.
“And what if you had, hm? Do you really think I deserve to carry that guilt?” he asked, anger and hurt rolling of him in weaves. It was all too much for him, the stress of the day mixed with the knowledge that he was the reason you were hurt. Tears began to form in his eyes and you couldn’t find it in you to be angry anymore as you saw how your reckless actions affected him and realized that he blamed himself for your injury. Suddenly you felt awful, guilt pooling in your stomach.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered, stepping towards him to cup his cheek in an attempt at comfort, but he slapped your hand away.
“This is not a game y/n; this is your life! You cannot just go making reckless decisions like that, because if you died, I don’t know what I would do.” he seethed. He didn’t understand, had he not conveyed to you how important you were to him? Had you not taken him seriously when he told you that he wouldn’t be able to live without you?
You reached to take his face in your hands, and this time he let you, looking at him softly. Your eyes were equally as glossy as you held his gaze, rubbing soothing circle into the plush of his cheeks, carefully avoiding the fresh cuts and bruises. All you wanted to do was lay down with your lover and drift off to sleep in his arms.
“It’s not your fault I got shot” you said softly, voice wavering as you reasoned with him, “I made a choice to push you out of the way, to take a bullet for you. It was my decision, not yours. You got that?”
He exhaled heavily, leaning his forehead against yours and slipping his eyes shut, “You scared me today,” he whispered to you,
“I know,” you whispered back,
“Don't you ever do that again.” You nodded your head in agreement, pulling away to place a kiss to his forehead and wipe at the damp skin under his eyes. He pulled you back into his chest, allowing himself a moment to simply hold you, to feel your heart beating in your chest against his, to listen to the soft sound of your breath, to feel your warm skin pressed against his. Neteyam reveled in the moment quietly, dreading its inevitable end.
And as you pulled away, coaxed him to bed, and laid down in his arms, tucking your head in the crook of his neck and letting him kiss you goodnight, Neteyam stayed wide awake, whispering his thanks to the great mother until mouth was dry and his throat was raw, for he would be internally grateful.

"We hit them here. Assuming they will be waiting for us to hit them earlier in the transport because of our surprise attack last time, let's wait a bit more until they cross this-" Veronica circled an area on the map with red paint using her finger, "to attack them. Like we discussed before, Tarsem will place the bombs by the tracks and activate them. The track gets destroyed and the train breaks. Na'vi on ground will collect all the goods in the train. Everything that is of use to us. Na'vi on sky will handle the helicopters."
She observed all the warriors. "Am I clear?"
They all answered with a firm yes, a nod of respect sent her way. Veronica looked at Jake and nodded. The simple gesture from her told him that the brief was done.
"Warriors, get ready!" announced Jake. The tent was instantly filled war cries, filling each na'vi inside with determination. The RDA destroyed their home once, they wont allow it to happen again. One by one, they left.
The Olo'eyktan watched as each of them exited the tent until his gaze stopped on two distinctive figures. He sighed, "Neteyam and Lo'ak, stay for a moment."
Veronica and Neytiri shared a knowing look. Their two sons weren't meant to be part of the raid because it was too dangerous. The first raid took five of their warriors lives and many injured, and fortunately Neteyam and Lo'ak weren't too stubborn about joining. This time they begged days on end about being a part of it.
Every time, Jake replied no without hesitation. He might claim they weren't prepared or that it was too perilous, but his two wives understood deep down that it was just because he didn't want the sight of their blood out there. Heck, he was already worried about Veronica and Neytiri being part of the raid. Thinking about his sons in the field will give him a headache.
The brothers glanced at each other before standing in front of him. Jake eyed them intensely as he spoke. "You're spotters, you got it? Spot bogeys and alert us if there are any," he reminded.
They nodded. "Yes, sir."
Their response didn't ease him, however. Jake knew it was an automatic response just for them to be granted permission. He stared at his younger son a bit longer before he nudged his head to the door. The boys walked away from their position and exited the tent. Their absence filled the place with silence as the adults just stood there and watched where they left.
Veronica lay her hand on his shoulder, and squeezed them gently. She smiled, "They will be fine."
"Yeah, I hope so," he mumbled, his head down.
"I am still against it," said Neytiri.
Veronica snapped her gaze towards her with furrowed brows. If there was one thing she knew about Neteyam and Lo'ak, it was that they would start to defy them little by little if they shielded them for too long.
"But," Neytiri continued, "our sons are strong. They know what to do."
Jake pursed his lips, his only response being a nod. The boys were too young for this in his eyes. Just because he wasn't human anymore, it didn't mean that he has forgotten his culture and beliefs. Neteyam's age may be considered the age of maturity, but to Jake he is still a kid.
Veronica tucked her knife in her sheath that was tied around her lower back above her tail. It was hard to stay positive in this situation because it seemed like Jake's anxiety passed to her. He isn't wrong to feel that way, no. She tried to overlook negative thoughts about them being there because the two were looking forward to this. They were driven to protect their home, and she doesn't blame them for that.
All the warriors crowded around the egde of High Camp with their ikrans. Vera, her ikran, stood out to her the most just because her colours are her favourite. She was painted with a mix of white, light blue, and green— colours that reminded her of the ocean.
"Can't believe we're spotters," Lo'ak grumbled. He shook the locks of the saddle on his ikran, making sure that it is fastened.
Neteyam sighed as he shook his head. "Be grateful. This is better than nothing."
The younger brother rolled his eyes. "Bet he only said yes cause Mama said so."
Lo'ak was sure that his life would have been more difficult if his mother wasn't there. She was the only person who understood him, who wouldn't yell at him for his mistakes and instead talk to him in a manner that he would understand what he did was wrong. His father's scoldings does give him a wake up call, but not enough to make him stop.
"And what about me?" Veronica arched an eyebrow as she approached them.
Neteyam smirked when he heard his brother curse under his breath as he was caught in the act.
"Nothing, mama."
"This skxawng said father only said yes because you said so, mom," said Neteyam. Lo'ak sent him a glare but he could care less. His baby brother was harmless as long as their mom was there.
Since the children have two mothers, they called them with different names to not confuse the women. There were too many instances when they were babies crying out for their mothers, but the mothers would always attend to them simultaneously. So, Neytiri was mother, while Veronica was mom. Although, Lo'ak called Veronica mama since he was little and he didn't grow away from that habit.
"Just so you know, I don't feel as confident anymore for letting the two of you out there. There are still ways you could help the clan and I would gladly find them," she said. Her words alerted the two teenagers immediately. Veronica smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "However, I trust you not to do anything stupid. Am I right to do so?"
Lo'ak nodded, his boyish grin stretched on his lips. "Mama, please, as if I would do something stupid at a time like this."
"You don't really have a good record for showing obedience in the worst times, ma'itan."
Neteyam chuckled, "Don't worry, mom. I will make sure he will stay put."
Somehow, I doubt that, she thought. The eldest son always managed to be tangled in his mess even if he doesn't want to, but she felt reassured that Lo'ak wasn't alone.
Looking at them stood at each others side made Veronica feel nostalgic. The image of them as children flashed through her head. They were yelling for her and running towards her with cheeky smiles, jumping into her arms. It seemed like time flew too fast. Now, they had matured and had a sense of responsibility.
"When did you grow so big?" Veronica sighed, tears welling up in her eyes. She drew Lo'ak into her embrace.
"Mom, stop," Lo'ak whined. His eyes looked around frantically with his cheeks flushed. He did not want to be treated like a prrnen in front of so many people.
"Hm, why?" she teased. "Do you have a girl I don't know about?"
"No, but-"
"I thought so." Veronica tightened her arms around her son, planting a kiss on his temple with a loud sound effect just to embarrass him more. She laughed as she heard him groan against her.  "My baby is so big now!"
"Mom!" he complained. Veronica laughed as she took a step away from her son, seeing his cheeks flushed from embarrassment entertained her.
She turned to Neteyam. "Ah, my bigger baby." Her arms were stretched away from her sides, an invitation. Unlike Lo'ak, Neteyam didn't shy away from her affection.
He felt so nervous about the raid that his hands started to sweat, but his nerves weren't enough to scare him away. He wondered how Lo'ak looked so calm, excited even. They were actually going to witness up close the damages the RDA could bring. But being wrapped around his mom's warmth relaxed him, even if it was just for a little while.
"Mom, are you in sky team?" he asked.
Veronica shook her head. "No, I am part of the ground team. Your mother is the one in sky team."
Neteyam felt a gentle kiss against his temple. She stepped back, her hands squeezed his shoulder comfortingly. "Everything will be fine, Teyam."
He thought hearing those words again would make him feel better, but it didn't.
Veronica wondered if her mother ever felt this way: her heart racing from anxiety, a knot in her stomach, and the palms of her hands sweaty just for being worried for her own daughters' safety. Although the chances are highley unlikely, it didn't hurt to wonder. She would consider her mother lucky if she had never felt that way because then she had nothing to fear.
The moment she didn't see her two sons in the sky like they were supposed to, panic started to kick in. She spotted their ikrans staying on the ground, their riders nowhere to be seen. Just as she was about to alarm Jake, gun ships came and fired at them.
Veronica hurried to take cover, not leaving her any time to search for her sons. She prayed that they were safe, and that everyone managed to escape the shots. She only felt her worries fade away when she saw Lo'ak flew away on his ikran, but it soon came back when Neteyam was being carried by Jake. He had scratches on his back, blood seeping out from it. Did every mother experience this?
They were currently at High Camp. She carressed Vera's head before approaching the boys.
"Mom! Mama!" Tuk ran towards the two women and tried to hug them both with her small arms. The youngest Sully would often call either of the mothers with different names, not that they mind. Like Lo'ak, Tuk didn't stray away from her habit in calling Veronica mama, but she does call Neytiri this sometimes.
Veronica smiled and pinched her cheek gently. She patted the small girl's back when she moved away, and continued to walk towards the boys. Neteyam stood in front of his father, his head hung low as he held his injured arm. Lo'ak stood still by his ikran, nervous for what's to come. How ironic.
"You're supposed to be spotters. You spot bogeys, and you call 'em in," Jake scolded furiously, his eyes dancing between them. "From a distance!" he emphasised. "Does any of this sound familiar? Get here!"
Lo'ak obeyed and stood beside his brother, ashamed. Veronica observed her youngest sons' back before she went to Neteyam who was injured. She clicked her tongue gently as she surveyed his injuries. There were numerous scratches on his back, but some cut deeper than the others. Kiri rushed to her side once she saw the condition her brother was in.
"Jesus. I let you two geniuses fly a mission, and you disobey direct orders." Jake sighed, "Kiri, can you go help your grandmother with the wounded? Please?"
"My brother is wounded," she pointed out.
"Baby girl, please. Tuk, go with her. Go."
Kiri sighed as she shook her head, walking away with Tuk.
"Dad– sir. I take full responsibility," said Neteyam, his head hung low still.
"Yeah, you do. That's right. 'Cause you're the older brother, you gotta act like it."
Neytiri gave her husband a pointed look. "MaJake. Your son is actually bleeding."
Neteyam shook his head. "Mother, it's fine. I-"
"No, it's not," Veronica cut him off. She looked at Jake with an arched eyebrow.
His gaze shifted between Neteyam's face and his injured body. For a moment, his anger diminished. "Just go and get patched up. Go on, dismissed."
"Come," she whispered for the young boy to hear. Her hand held his bicep as they walked past Jake. She shot Jake a knowing look before walking further, passing by warriors who were getting situated.
They walked in silence, and Neteyam was not sure if it was comfortable or not. He hadn't experienced getting a scolding from his mom, it would either be from his mother or father. Usually Jake on rare occurrences.
Neteyam pursed his lips. "Mom," he called weakly.
"How many times did you save your brothers back?" she asked softly.
He stayed silent.
"I know you are doing your job as the older brother, and you are doing it really well. But, a time will come when Lo'ak will have to grow too. He has to learn how to own up to his mistakes." Veronica held his shoulders, stopping him from entering the Tsahik's hut. She moved in front of him, cupping his cheek gently and made him look at her. "You do not have to try so hard. You are just a kid."
Neteyam's eyes widened, his eyes turning glossy. He wasn't so sure why his chest started to hurt. Maybe it was because his hard work was being acknowledged, or maybe it was because someone saw that he was trying. Couldn't his dad see that too?
As Veronica patted his cheek gently, she smiled, "Go on. I'll be right with you."
The boy only nodded, he feared that if he tried to speak, his voice would crack and tears would start spilling from his eyes. Her eyes searched for Lo'ak through the crowd and spotted him with the ikrans, removing the saddles. The upset look on his face made her sigh.
Mo'at crouched behind Neteyam's back as she applied medicine on his injuries. He would either yelp or hiss at the contact of his wounds. Spider was in the hut too, he would make jokes here and then about how Neteyam was acting like a baby out of it just to make him feel better. Veronica laughed quietly at his words. She was relieved that the tension wasn't there anymore, she didn't know if she could bare it.
Her eyes trailed from Neteyam's back then outside the hut, sensing a presence. She locked gazes with Neytiri before it shifted to Jake's back, busying himself with his gun. Veronica excused herself and told Kiri to take over, approaching Neytiri. The hair at the end of her tail brushed against her wife's thigh as she gave her a peck on the lips.
Neytiri's hand caressed her arm, but her eyes stayed on the boys. Neteyam's grunts of pain could still be heard from where they're standing. He never had injuries like this, never this worse. Her tail swished behind her like something was on her mind.
Jake glanced behind him. He sighed, "What?"
"Neteyam and Lo'ak try to live up to you. It is very hard on them," said Neytiri. She faced her husband expectantly.
"I know." He refused to meet their eyes and focused on the weapon in his hand.
Neytiri kneeled beside him. "You are very hard on them."
Veronica sat beside the other side of Jake to hear their conversation better. Their voices were low to ensure that none of the children heard it.
"I'm their father. It's my job," he pressed.
"This is not a squad. It is a family." Her voice remained soft, and it was enough to break his walls down.
Jake placed his gun on the ground, clenching his fist on his knees. "I thought we'd lost them," he whispered. Tears glossed into his eyes as he looked at the two women, the only people who he could feel vulnerable around with.
It was difficult to stay away from long-term habits. Being a marine meant seeing a lot of difficult situations, he was forced to keep it together and be tough. Seeing his sons affected by the explosion made him lose all of his composure and he didn't know how to deal with it. He was still learning, but everytime he felt like he was getting better, his progress ruins.
Neytiri's expression softened, her eyebrows slightly furrowed as she held his hand. Veronica placed her hand on his thigh, squeezing it gently. No word was said to one another except giving each other comfort. Each parents feared the same thing: losing their child. Parenthood was difficult, but if the three of them were in it together, Jake felt like he will be fine.

On my own… part 2 (sully family x reader)
There’s a reason why the word ‘dreams’ got Jake so upset when it came out of Y/n’s mouth, it’s all the child ever talked about.
*7 year old Y/n*
It was just Jake and Y/n in the home since Neytiri decided to take the boys and Kiri on a trip to some area in the forest she used to visit since Jake wasn’t up and he had a headache Y/n offered to stay home to cheer him up!
“I want to fly! Be strong and conquer the world! I will some day, it’s all I’ve ever dreamt of! Doesn’t it sound beautiful dad? Eywa told me through my dream! I mean really it-“
Jake couldn’t hear Y/n talk anymore, about a life she won’t ever realistically achieve, it was his final straw when she said Eywa sent her the dream.
“Y/n how could Eywa even send you a dream like that, it is not real.”
Y/n gave a surprised face to her father’s louder voice but she decided to ignore it maybe…he didn’t mean it?
“Oh..well I believe it’s real sir! You can achieve dreams if you just push for them! It’s brings such happiness-“
Unfortunately for the child she was not his cure to any of his happiness and only caused his headache to linger around longer and hurt more well, since they were alone…it didn’t exactly end well for Y/n.
“Eywa doesn’t send you dreams! They are not real!”
Instantly the child who didn’t like the loud noise and yelling, started crying. She flinched at her fathers hand that raised towards her..
“Ok!”
“They aren’t real Y/n! And your dreams…they’re just fucking dreams! Do you understand me?”
“Yes!”
“Say if I want to hear you say it!”
“My dreams are just dreams!”
“Say it again!”
“My dreams are just dreams!”
Jake had nodded off to the girl before turning back around to the meal he was eating while Y/n slowly walked back to her hammock with tears falling down quickly.
You see? Y/n wasn’t always able to handle Jake’s outbursts…but now it seems as though it’s easy for her
-*
I ran faster than I ever have before adrenaline was the only thing keeping me stable…None of this was supposed to go out this way, they were supposed to be right beside me…and if I die tonight would I do it again…? I never knew how much anger could lie in me, not until this moment…I’m just so upset and scared. I have no one. I have nobody to run to for a hug, to hear a congratulations from or fly with at the end of my ceremony. Neteyam, Lo’ak and Kiri had that…so why can’t I? Does my father really I’m that incapable? Mother just stood there watching the entire thing…we weren’t always like this, with father yes but at one point my mother cared.
And my siblings faces? You can completely tell they realized before they were forced to leave, that my father was willing to go far…just to break me from asking again…to risk me sacrificing myself for something that could be done the right way without me having to die as a second choice?! …was it obvious to everybody else? That I’d fallen for a lie…the fact that our father couldn’t find it in his heart to give me what I deserve.
Forget it, I just need to get through this so I can prove them wrong and show them that I don’t need any ounce of their disrespect anymore.
It was pitch black and as if it wasn’t bad enough I didn’t have anything to secure that I’d actually do this on my own.
I just put my hand out and used my feet to memorize my surroundings, I was used to doing this in a way…I trained myself to be in the dark because, dad used to wake me up in the middle of the night after being upset at me a couple hours before and he’d tell me to sit in the dark somewhat farther back from our home, in the pitch black…so I’d have to find my way back home..
If we’re being quite honest I’m doing great! This isn’t that difficult-
Screeches and warrior like cries can be heard from an ikran nearby, ok this is it…sounds a little too loud and aggressive to be a regular Ikran..but ok..
I reach for what feels like the neck and try holding on until it threw me to the wall, pulled me back in a little too agresssive and suddenly I was flying….without an ikran.
Panic rushed in as I beg for Eywa to save me. For a moment there I was going to faint but I felt an ikran sweep from under me thrashing me around but catching me everytime before I fall…this ikran really isn’t giving up on me, I won’t either not now, not ever. I hold on tighter holding it by it’s neck and quickly make tsaheylu.
I can feel everything, it’s frustration, sadness overwhelmed happiness, and eagerness to just fly. So I gave the ikran and i what we needed i flipped and did tricks while the excitement rush through us. It was ok to be on the edge of it all…but you must always bring yourself back in.
After awhile I decided I flew pretty far so I found a bright place to sit so I can get a proper look at my ikran and get some rest.
“I’m gonna take a better look at you buddy! I just want my eyes to be closed before I see you so bare with me please!” I jumped off and accidentally slid down its huge wing. “Woah- you seem larger than I expected..”
I open my eyes once I hit the ground and right In front of me was a beautiful ikran, orange with beautiful dark red stripes on his wings…toruk makto.
“Oh my- you weren’t even supposed to be where I was at, you’re never in the Iknimaya mountains…you..you’re perfect!” he snuggled in towards me slightly. Tears rush into my eyes thinking about me achieving my dream and more.
“You chose me. Even when I was falling to my death you came back for me to keep fighting…you are where my loyalties lie.” I make tsaheylu once more to show my appreciation but to also feel his stories…he feels some sense of betrayal and confusion..towards my father.
My father caught him, used him for battle and then simply returned back to his regular ikran ‘bob’ as if toruk makto was nothing. He then showed me how he saw me from above, and watched me from afar…showing how he saw the way my father treated me…how they left me, and then he made me feel strong because he showed all my training I had done and all the work I was doing around the village…how I enjoyed taking some risks despite my past…the way I still smiled and showed respect towards others and ended with showing me how Eywa sent him to me…what surprised me the most is when he showed fire, I didn’t understand it but it reminded me that this entire time my body felt so warm and felt like my heart was on fire…burning.
Yes, I was very happy to finally have a bond but…when I looked around me and realized no one else was near me, I just gave out a stressful sigh before finally allowing myself to be free in my emotions…
*meanwhile back at home…*
“Ma’Jake w-why would you do that? She won’t-“
“Exactly she won’t make it , she knows that. In a few minutes she’s coming back just sit down and wait.”
The three siblings came back in the tent with a sleeping Tuk, all upset.
Lo’ak was the first to speak up for Y/n…
“Why would you do that dad? You’re asking for her to just die or get hurt? We have to go now.”
Jake now was reacting out of more anger
“You have no clue what she was sa-“
Neteyam was next to join the conversation…he was just so upset he didn’t even care what was coming out.
“We heard everything dad. Why are you asking that of her? Why do you make everything so hard for her? She has done nothing to you.” Neteyam was turning on his heels walking out the home to find Y/n….until he was yanked back
“You leave when I tell you to leave! Do you understand me? I will not risk you guys getting hurt for her choices. I gave her a choice she made the wrong one.”
“A choice?! What choice dad? You leave her with nothing and practically force her to do her Iknimaya under difficult circumstances knowing she can die!”
“Sit Down right now! And be quiet! I don’t want to hear it at all!”
The entire family went quiet and sat down, with rage still fueled inside them. All Neytiri could think about was her wrongs…did she really just allow her husband to send out their daughter?
*neytiri’s thoughts*
My vision is blurry and my heart hurts…why? For a daughter that holds deep secrets?….after the incident she was in when she was six, she didn’t come back the same. Her body was stronger, she did things quicker…and when she was emotional you can feel it radiating off of her, you can see these visions…like she’s showing you her present and her future, only by the touch of her skin. Jake said it was best to just stop her from having any emotions or being close to anyone else because he once saw her in the woods..scared and alone crawled up in a ball creating a ring of fire around her. I’m not even sure she remembers that, I let Jake handle everything with her…her punishments, her overwhelming emotions, all of it. He said it’s best.
I used to look at Y/n like she was my whole world…when she was just a baby still. Her skin was soft and she was beautiful! Oh and her smile, kindness, and the way she was able to love with her whole heart. Sensitive and stupid as Jake says…but had we gone too far on trying to protect her? Wouldn’t this make her emotions worse..? How could we keep pushing our daughter away?
Truth was Y/n wasn’t even adopted.. Jake said that even though Lo’ak and Y/n are twins, we would only show the clan Lo’ak as our biological child…make up a lie about two warriors, no one even bat an eye, believed everything we said. The reason we didn’t want it getting out was because at the time the scientists who were here wanted a biological daughter from Jake to help in their ‘experiments’. They said they would be able to make her strong, and connect with the world in many ways since Jake had Eywa by his side..a daughter would be considered more of a blessing in the scientists eyes. Stating that females were more vulnerable, gentle, sensitive so the results will be more apparent. She’d be able to produce a stronger version of Navi’s if she passed by Eywa herself..who was to guarantee that? So I made Jake deny all of it and they finally stopped asking, we never even bothered to tell her the truth…how would she react?
We even buried ourself deep in our own lie..we don’t treat her as our own.
*
Neytiri gets up after 15 minutes
“You go right now! Go look for Y/n. I will not wait here while my daughter is out there.” Jake turns to his wife in disbelief while Neytiri could careless.
“Go right now. If she isn’t here…I will not hesitate to blame you.”
Neytiri turned back around telling everyone else to just rest and that Y/n will be back soon with both Jake and herself.
Then they flew…it had felt like longing minutes and Y/n wasn’t anywhere. They had search everywhere, Neytiri’s heart started to burn…something or some part of y/n was still here, maybe Y/n had got her ikran and it was flying around.?
“Neytiri..we have looked everywhere, she will come h-“
“No! We will not rest until she makes it home.”
“She would not leave! Y/n will never leave, she loves her siblings too much.”
“Jake! She could be dead.”
Silence stayed between the two parents, jake contemplates everything..he was so upset with Y/n. He just keeps pushing forward to look more, to satisfy Neytiri’s sudden change in emotion towards Y/n.
While that was happening Neteyam had Lo’ak and Kiri hold everything down at home while he searched for Y/n. He flew farther out instead of staying close to home…If there was one other thing Y/n wanted it was to leave home..for some reason she never found it in her heart. He spotted a body laying on bioluminescent flowers..Y/n.
“Y/n! Wake up now. We are going home.”
She rose at the sound of her brother stern and yelling voice.
“…is he still mad?”
“Very. He’s looking for you with mom. She’s even madder. You could’ve died. How could you-“
“You don’t think I know that? You don’t think I’m frustrated with everything already so I need you to shame me too?”
“Right…that’s why you’re still here. Resting as if nothing is going on back home.”
“…I can’t go back. I thought it might be different this time…They will shut me out even more..I can’t do this. I’m so exhausted.”
Neteyam felt a sense of betrayal, Y/n always followed them, always remained loyal and now she doesn’t want to come home? He isn’t used to this ‘treatment’ and he doesn’t even taken into consideration that this was about their parents.
“This is all about you..”
Full irritation erupted in Y/n as she feels the burning in her heart start again..
“Yes! It’s about me! Ok? Cause it’s never about me and I’m finally making it about me. Haven’t i given enough? You do not know the full story Neteyam. Do not go around saying things you may regret, because I don’t need it. Not right now.”
“…What’s the full story?”
y/n never told anyone the way her dad spoke to her, how he pushed her around sometimes..She can’t tell Neteyam right now and her sorrow came back..
“please don’t ask that..you’re my brother and this may be the only time, that we can talk normally..he’ll punish me..”
“how y/n..? Just tell me.”
Sobs came from the girl, to Neteyam they sounded exactly the way she cried when she was little…always silently crying upset about something no one understood why, at least not him…he was the only one who knew Y/n would cry by herself.
“..I just…I can’t say it..”
Neteyam’s just went to hug Y/n and held her while she cried, facing the fact that she won’t ever tell him or anyone what was going on..
“…where is your ikran?”
Y/n calls out and toruk makto came flying in, she was panicking inside because something felt it was ready to burn…she tried controlling it but in a way she was running into the crossfire ..she didn’t even bother to see Neteyam’s reaction to toruk.
“Let’s just go please. I’m done.”
Then they flew back home…
!💕!
Fun fact!
Y/n considered not going back home yes, but she realized she shouldn’t run away from problems like her father
Toruk had always chosen Y/n! He wanted to bond with her as soon as she was old enough to get her ikran. His frustration with Jake only grew when he realized it was him who stopped her.
Lo’ak and Kiri were talking about how strange it was that their father easily put his hands on Y/n to hurt her..
Y/n doesn’t know that she has powers! She doesn’t remember because In those moments her mind goes blank.
Neteyam saw a small vision of fire but it was very faded because Y/n unknowingly got her powers under control as she grew!

May I request a fic about vet!skykid reader and the sully family, where reader goes out with the kids and spider, when they get ambushed by Quradrinth (idk if I spelt it right), and they get taken with spider. And Quradrinth’s crew starts to run experiments on them to see what they are. Later they end up taking reader with Spider when they hunt the Tulkun. Then when Lo’ak and Neteyam go back for Spider, they save reader as well. (Also, Neteyam doesn’t get shot.) Everyone goes back to the Metakiyan clan and gets patched when the Sully see that reader has a lot injuries from the experiments?
"I wanna go home.."
Sully family + spider x vet!reader
Genre: angst/comfort
Warnings: violence,death threats,experiments,war?,near death,lots of injuries,swearing,a bit brutal about a certain procedure for (___)
Pronouns: they/them
You guys...I love you guys so much, I absolutely love this kind of angst request where reader gets hurt. I like torturing people in fanfics so this is perfect but I'll try not to make it too brutal with the experiments, ENJOY THE FOOD ANGST LOVERS. Also note that the reader will be a bit shorter than spider
Tumblr media
"where's spider and (___)?" Jake asked kiri who was crying "they took them. They took spider and (___)." Kiri sobbed between the sentence, neytiri was comforting her by hugging her "...shit."
---------------------------------------
"STOP IT YOU'RE HURTING THEM!" Spider yelled witnessing the crew doing experiments on (___) who was chained on a bed. What kind of experiments you might say, well glad you asked it involves using sharp tools, needles, lots of blood samples, and other things you don't wanna know. "STOP IT PLEASE" spider begged trying to get out of the chair he was strapped into, they eventually stopped the experiments but (___) was barely moving hell I don't think they're even concious, spider quickly went to their side trying to wake them up "s-shit, dude wake up don't die on me just yet. C'mon stand up!" Spider panicked, he didn't wanna lose you yet. You were the only person he knows in the room. Once again they took spider and strapped him in the chair, they took (___) and strapped them in a machine. They turned it on and the things infront of him started circling and the fact it has lights made it worse since a headache started occuring, not even just a headache it felt like your head was about to explode so you started doing everything you can to get out of the machine. The lady with a hat started talking "where is Jake sully?" She said hoping to get an answer but you didn't talk you can't.
"stop it please!" Spider pleaded, the longer you were in that machine the harder for you to stay up "y'know this will all stop if you just tell us where he is." The lady said but you barely heard the words she said, everything EVERYTHING was barely there you can't see, hear,or even comprehend clearly, not with this thing on you "their mind is blank, it's all blurry." The lady said looking at the hologram of your brain". "THEY CANT TALK, STOP IT YOURE GONNA KILL THEM!" spider pleaded again noticing that (___) was moving in and out of consciousness, they also stopped struggling which was very weird. Quaritch can't bare to hear spider again and stopped the machine, this made the lady look at quaritch with a look of confused and a bit of anger. (___) was unconscious and had a nosebleed, spider managed to get out of the chair and went to (___) side who was on the ground in a bad condition. "general, let me handle these." Quaritch said the general looked a bit shock and said "this better be worth it."
Spider was in a room with a table in the middle, he went under it somewhat giving him comfort that he's safe but what he is worrying right now is (___) they were nowhere to be seen and that made him worried what could've to them. Were they dead?are they alive?are they doing experiments on them again? All those questions were not helping him in the current situation he is in. The door opened which made him defensive and hugged himself, the person crouch down and saw it was the guy who stopped the machine but even tho he did that he was not gonna trust him that easily. Once he saw he was going to the other side of the table he took the chance to try and escape but unfortunately the blue caught caught what he was doing and quickly grabbed him from going further "whoa whoa, easy tiger easy." He said putting him on the table that was weirdly gentle since he thought he was gonna be rough, spider was about to do it again but a big blue hand stopped him from doing so. He tried escaping the hand by lashing out trying to push his hand out of the way but he was much bigger and stronger than him so it was quite impossible to do so. So he calmed down a bit, the blue guy raised his hands showing that he wasn't gonna show harm "we good?" He asked, spider looked everywhere BUT him.
*timeskip to where they save spider because I'm in a hurry*
"dude c'mon hurry!" Lo'ak said to spider "wait, (___) is still in there we need to go and get them!" Spider said running inside the ship "lo'ak let's go, like spider said they are still in there!" Neteyam said grabbing lo'aks hand dragging him inside the ship, spider opened a door which leads to the lab (___) was in. They were tied on a wall, they looked weak and in pain so they quickly got them out of it "hey Birdy, don't worry we'll be out of here." Neteyam said cutting the ropes helping you stand up "C'mon let's hurry up or else-" "oi! What are you do-" before the crewman get to finish finish his sentence (___) quickly took the gun from lo'aks hands and shot him "...damn good aim bro." Spider said, all four of them quickly running to find an exit but some of quaritch's crew found them so they quickly his behind the pipes near an open water but they can't just go into it or else they'll get shot, neteyam was trying to shoot the crew "GO GO!" Neteyam yelled spider and lo'ak quickly jumped but (___) stayed not wanting to leave neteyam. Soon after the bullets ran out and they had to jump "when I count to 3 we jump." Neteyam said looking at (___) who nodded "1,2,3!" Both of them quickly jump, the crew trying to shoot them. "There you guys are, c'mon hurry up." Spider said swimming lo'ak was about to follow him but saw neteyam holding (___) up "w-whats wrong?" He asked knowing damn well what happened "they got shot." Neteyam said holding (___) up more since it looks like they were starting to choke on the water "hurry, over here!" Tsiyera said who was riding her ilu, neteyam quickly swam towards it and laid (___) there. He quickly started to look for the gunshot wound and in relief that they just got hit in the shoulder and not somewhere major.
"kiri and Tuk is still there." Tsiyera said lo'ak looked a bit hesitant and said "we can't go back." He said the iku swimming faster.
The gang saw Jake landing on a rock which made them shout at him so they can get his attention "Dad! Help!" Lo'ak said making the ilu go towards him, neteyam was at the back holding (___) up while putting pressure on their wound "Please!" Tsiyera pleaded, you looked young, too young and you were losing alot of blood, you are not gonna die young. Once they were close enough Jake helped them get (___) of the ilu and made them lay on the rock, Jake gentle looked at (___)'s back and sighed "the bullet didn't went through, t-that's good." He stuttered a bit stress by the situation "lo'ak put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding." He said, lo'ak quickly followed his demand putting pressure on the wound, he saw that the gunshot wasn't the only thing that harmed you but cuts and bruises were scattered around your body making him worried what quaritch had done to you, he looked at spider and asked "what happened to them, why are they covered in bruises?" Spider looked a bit puzzled and said "i-i can expl-" but before he could finish his sentence neytiri went down on ikran and went by Jake side "what happened, are they ok?" Neytiri asked a bit worried, neytiri considered as one of her own she basically raised after you lost your own home and kept you under her wing, she watch you grew and seeing you in this state made her angry on who hurted a "harmless" angel like you "kiri and tuk are still in the ship." Tsiyera said, Jake and neytiri looked at eachother and nodded neteyam was about to tell them that he's gonna follow but Jake beat him to it "all of you stay here and monitor (___)'s condition." Jake knelt down on one knee infront of lo'ak and neteyam "right now I need you guys to protect (___) from any harm, that is an order. So please, don't fail this one mission for me." He said rubbing both of lo'aks and Neteyam's head.
*timeskip to the village*
The family reach the village and saw tonowari and Ronal who were waiting for them tonowari was about to speak but Jake quickly stopped him "I need you to help them please" Jake pleaded, Ronal quickly led them to a marui where medical stuff were prepared. The metkayinas watch as Ronal patched up the cuts and bruises you had but she was frustrated at the gun wound, Tsiyera was hugging lo'ak looking away from the scene because she can't seem to ahndle seeing (___) in pain afterall you were simply a child "the gun wound is too deep, I don't have the right equipments to get it out and it looks like they don't have much time if the gun wound isn't treated." Ronal said looking at Jake, neytiri closed her mouth and cried. Jake quickly thought and said "I need my friend norm to come here and help me with this." Jake said to tonowari who was a bit hesitant whether to say yes or no "please, I need them alive. They are still too young to die." Jake pleaded again, tears was pricking up in his eye, tonowari looked at Ronal for an answer who suprisingly nodded her head "alright." Tonowari nodded.
"give me the tweezers (I think that's what they call it)." Norm said as they quickly handed it to him, he hesitated a bit and Jake noticed it "w-whats wrong?" He stuttered not liking on what's going to happen, norm sighed and had a stern look. "Kiddo, what I'm going to do will be a bit painful. Can you take it?" Norm asked he didn't want you to die but this was gonna be painful without anaesthesia, once he saw you slightly nod he prepared them "take the children away-take them away!" Norm yelled at the metkayinas and neteyam who had Tuk, norm rarely gets serious like this so Jake was a bit nervous "I'm gonna count to three. 1,2,3!" Once he finished counting he put the tweezers inside your shoulder trying to find the bullet as quickly as he can, the tweezers touching your flesh, nerves, and bones made you feel an unbearable pain. You tried to hold it in but you can't you simply just can't, all you could do was let out a blood curdling scream that made the na'vis have goosebumps from. Neytiri and Jake was affected by it the most since you were like their child after they started taking care of you, lo'ak had to take Tsiyera away because of how much she was crying. The other metkayinas also went away because they couldn't handle seeing a child let out a bloody scream, some even covered their mouths, and some even muttered pitiness.
You were mumbling 'stop' 'please' 'it hurts' but they can't do anything, neytiri was crying as she was trying to comfort you and calm you down. All of them felt helpless, useless as they watch you experience the pain, hell even Ronal felt sorry for you and as for tonowari he had the look of horror. You might be thinking, is it really that bad? Yes, yes it is. I could animate but I simply cannot animate something disturbing but finally norm took out the bullet, he quickly instructed them clean the wound and patch them while he prepares for the sedate. Ah I see, why did he not do it in the first place? The dumbass helicopter just arrived with it, that's what.
Jake and tonowari talked to eachother while Ronal and neytiri was talking to each other, Ronal was comforting neytiri after the experience (look man, I want them as besties not enemies-). "Gosh for once I'm glad I was not there to experience that." Neteyam said after lo'ak explained the situation about the procedure, aonung looked like he was about to puke "was it really that bad?" Lo'ak asked he didn't get to see the whole procedure because he went away, aonung shot a glare at him and puked "bold of you to say that, I EXPERIENCED THE WHOLE THING!" he yelled the last part before puking again "the poor child, what had they done to experience that? They looked too young too!" Tsiyera said wiping her tears, she sent a glare towards aonung and said "aonung, don't you dare make fun of them unless you want me to snitch you on mom." She said, even if her eyes were full of tears when they were walking away she still saw a glimpse of her mother's face which was filled with sadness and horror "don't worry I won't, not after they went through that." He responded
After all of them calmed down, the sully and the tonowari's family were talking to each other, you were in a small mattress and a pillow was on your head and kiri&Tuk was by your side doing your hair, something comfortable is important after experiencing something like that "spider, can you tell me what happened to (___)?" Jake asked once more and spider sighed "They kept on experimenting on them trying to find out what they are, they kept putting strange liquids in their body and basically tortured them if they didn't talk. The cuts were from the experiments and the bruises were from uhm, quaritch's crew beating up (___) if they didn't talk.." the explanation made Jake furious he was quite literally muttering threats under his breath but neytiri calmed him down "ma'jake, it's ok they are gone now. They are dead." Neytiri said silently happy that she didn't held back her anger when they were fighting in the ship finding their daughters. Spider had a look of guiltiness but no one saw that, I don't think he has the courage to say it afterall, he doesn't wanna be skinned alive by the sully family after they found out he saved their number one enemy.

when y/n’s family arrived here in awa’atlu, it took her a while to adjust. but she eventually became happy here.
after the war, and neteyam’s recovery, she was already growing closer with the reef kids.
especially tsireya. y/n had fallen hard for her.
tsireya was kind, graceful, smart, generous, and beautiful. y/n could think of hundreds of terms to describe her.
everyone knew about her painfully obvious crush except for her twin lo’ak and tsireya.
only because they were too focused on each other.
to tsireya, she thinks she found a new best friend.
to lo’ak? a crush as big as y/n’s.
the only thing that was stopping y/n from asking her out was because of her twin.
she thought they were obsessed with each other from looking at how much time they spend together when they’re in a group.
she had mistook tsireya’s friendship with lo’ak as a crush and was afraid that if she tried anything, she’d humiliate herself.
or ruin the friendship with tsireya and then her relationship with her best friend from birth.
for the past couple weeks, the kids have been taking underwater hunting lessons with tsireya, au’nung, and rotxo, but y/n’s been skipping them.
her crush was stronger than ever and she couldn’t go through another lesson where lo’ak was flirting with the girl she loved.
today was the third lesson she skipped.
she was sitting on the edge of her family’s marui while looking down at the water, one knee propped up to hold her head.
neytiri was behind her organizing her things, or sharpening a knife, something that y/n couldn’t really care less about.
“why aren’t you out there?” neytiri asks her.
“you should be learning how to hunt.”
“i have a headache. i don’t feel like swimming right now.” y/n responded in a low tone.
“hmph. next week, i better see you out there with everyone else.” neytiri said.
“yes, mama.” y/n muttered. neytiri sighs looking at her daughter's sad demeanor and decides to leave her alone.
“uhm.. i need to gather some fruits for later. i’ll be back before eclipse. your father should be back soon, so you won't be alone for long.” she said as she stood up.
“okay, mama. see you later.” y/n mutters. she turns slightly to smile at her but quickly looks back at the water.
neytiri watched her for a moment before grabbing her basket and leaving the marui.
a little while later, jake comes back from a meeting with tonowari and they sit together, organizing some of his tools.
“whoa, can i have this one?” she asked her father while holding up a knife that was made from sea glass.
“what’s wrong with the one you have?” he asks.
“nothing, i just want this one.” she shrugs. he chuckles and nods, “fine, keep it.”
she smiles and gets up to put it away in her corner of the marui.
“hey, dad. where’s y/n?” lo’ak said from the other side of the marui.
“uh, she’s in her room.” jake answered.
y/n gets up and watches as lo’ak storms into her corner, throwing the divider that acted as a door aside.
“hey! what’s your problem? i coulda been naked.” she grumbled.
“but you’re not. sit down, we gotta talk.” he said quickly.
she rolls her eyes but they both sit down together.
“what?” she asks.
“why have you been avoiding tsireya?” he asks.
her mouth suddenly went dry. could he know? he must be mad with how he entered her room. “uh..”
he rolls his eyes. “just tell me. i probably already know the answer.”
“i.. wh- uh, why do you think i’ve been avoiding her?” she asks hesitantly.
“because you like her. no, not even. you love her.” he said bluntly.
“bro, what the hell are you talking about? you don’t know that.”
neteyam was walking past the room and heard her ask when he said, “how could anyone NOT know that?”
“go away, ‘teyam!”
“bro, go away!” the twins yelled. they rolled their eyes at neteyam’s snickering and didn’t continue until they heard his footsteps walk away from the room.
“look, i went to tsireya earlier because i had a crush on her too. i decided i was gonna tell her today, so i did.” he admitted.
y/n’s expression softened with sadness. “oh..”
“but she told me she didn’t like me. because she’s already in love with you.”
“what? no, she isn’t-“
“come on, would i lie to you? i’m serious, she’s crazy about you.” he said in an irritated tone.
“okay.. and you’re mad at me cause she likes me and not you?” she asked him hesitantly.
he scoffed. “no! dude, i’m mad because you’ve been a bitch about it and you haven’t spoken to her in weeks! she thinks you hate her.”
“i haven’t been mean to her-“
“no, dummy. bitch like wimpy, scaredy cat, a pussy. but you’ve been mean to her too, so that applies too.” he nodded. y/n glared at her brother before he continued.
“i tried my best to convince her you don’t hate her but she still thinks you and her have a zero chance of happening. so you have to let her know you’re obsessed with her.” he poked her knee and she swatted his hand.
“i’m not obsessed with her, lo’ak. i swear, if you told her i am-“
he chuckled. “i didn’t. i didn’t even know you liked her until today. i was too focused on tsireya to notice.” he shrugs.
y/n sighs and her hands drag down her face with she groaned in frustration.
“look, i know we fight a lot and stuff. but you’re my best friend.” lo’ak started softly.
y/n looks up at him. lo’ak looks down at his hands, fidgeting with his fingers and not making eye contact.
“i care about you. i guess if tsireya doesn’t wanna be with me, i’d rather her be happy with you. cause i know you’ll treat each other right.” he continued, slightly stumbling over a few words.
y/n looks up at her brother and smiled. “thanks, lo’ak.” she holds his hands that were folded together. he unfolds them and holds hers in his one hand.
y/n sighs. “okay. i’ll tell her..”
“yes! good.”
“tomorrow.”
“no! go, now! like, now, now! come on.” he grabs her wrist and picks her up from the floor but y/n stops him.
“no, lo’ak!”
he looks back at her. “what? if you ignore her any longer, she’s gonna lose interest.”
“it’s almost eclipse, anyways. dad’s not gonna let us out.” she told him, literally reaching for any excuse.
it was just a coincidence that the eclipse was in a couple minutes.
“oh.” he mumbled. “yeah, that’s a problem.” they stand by the entrance of the room and figure out what to do.
“okay. tomorrow, we will find some flowers, make a bouquet, you’ll go to her dad-“
“her dad?! why would i go to him? he’s gonna stab me with his big-ass spear!” y/n said.
“not if you’re nice. and then you’ll be all like ‘i’d like to take your daughter out on a date.’ and he’ll be like ‘oh my god, you’re so sweet, of course.’ and then ronal-“
“hell. no. ronal will literally make sure i never see my family again.” she says, shaking her head.
“don’t be dramatic.” lo’ak laughs and suddenly, they hear voices in the main room of the marui.
y/n and lo’ak quickly shut up to hear who it was.
“i was wondering if i could talk to y/n for a moment. it’s important.”
y/n and lo’ak look at each other with wide eyes and started whispering to each other.
“what the hell do i do?”
“go out there!”
“no, i look like a mess! you go and ask what she wants and then-”
“oh my- just go!” he shoved y/n out of her own room and her heart was beating what felt like a million times per minute.
“y/n. your friend, tsireya’s here to see you.” jake called out.
“coming!” she responded, her voice cracking.
she could hear lo’ak’s quiet laugh from her room and rolled her eyes.
she meets up with tsireya and they agree to take a walk. jake asked her to be back not too late since eclipse was soon.
the girls walked away from the village, down the beach, just talking about bland topics, avoiding the topic they actually needed to be discussing.
“uhm.. so i wanted to ask you something.” tsireya said. she stood to face y/n.
“okay.” y/n says worriedly.
“so.. i was speaking to lo’ak earlier and i was asking him about you.”
“okay..”
“i can’t help but think you don’t like me. or you hate me. i haven’t seen you in weeks and every time i try to look for you, you’re busy with something else.”
y/n suddenly realized how shitty that was of her and felt a wave of embarrassment.
her hands covered her face as she chuckled lightly. “oh, god- i’m sorry. i’m so sorry, no wonder you think i hate you.”
tsireya gently takes her hands away from her face with a soft smile. “so, you don’t hate me?”
“no, of course not. i could never hate you. you’re so amazing and nice and pretty. i mean, i’ve liked you since we got here and you showed me around the village and you were just super nice.”
“you think i’m pretty?” tsireya interrupted. hints of pink flooded her cheeks.
“uh.. yeah.” y/n said quietly.
tsireya blushed even harder and looked down.
“i really thought you despised me and the whole time you just..” she laughs out softly.
“i’m really sorry, tsireya. i actually really like you. you’re the kindest and more generous and considerate girl i’ve ever met and uh..”
tsireya watches y/n’s expression, waiting to hear her ask the question she’s been waiting for ever since y/n arrived.
“i uhm.. will-“
“will you go out with me?” tsireya interrupted.
she quickly slapped her hand over her mouth as she watched y/n’s face. she was ready to ask tsireya already.
y/n sighs out before tsireya laughs out.
“i’m sorry!”
“i was so ready to say it! ugh, tsireya…”
“im sorry! i’m sorry, i’ll let you say it..” tsireya smiled.
y/n chuckled lightly. “tsireya.. will you go out with me?”
tsireya squeals in excitement before hugging y/n, throwing her arms around her neck.
y/n laughs out and spins her around, holding her tight in her arms.
she puts her down, her hands still on tsireya’s waist. tsireya had her hands on the back of y/n’s neck and they were inches apart from each other.
they would have kissed and had a nice, happy, sapphic ending, but the author is single and sad and will not be made jealous of by two fictional characters.

Everything was fine, you, Jake and Neytiri had the perfect life in the jungle. You were all living the perfect life. Neytiri had given birth too three beautiful children, and had adopted Grace’s daughter Kiri. Their children were also your children. They saw you as a second mother figure and the mother who was always getting them out of trouble.
Neteyam is a sweetheart, Kiri is at that age where she just wants to be left alone, Lo’ak is at that age where he wants to explore and do loads of risky things and Tuk is an angel. You still remember when they were all younger.
When it came to Jake’s parenting, it bothered you how your mate basically treated his kids like soldiers, you and Neytiri had talked to him about it but it just seemed that it just slipped his mind. Since then you had made it your mission that you will be the parent that the children will always know who to rely on.
You treated them all equally, you didn’t want to put any favoritism like Jake had being doing, he may not admit it but it is obvious that his favorite was Neteyam, not only that but he was also harder on him for being the oldest, he expected to much of him, it really bothered you the most since they were still children, it didn’t matter if they were 14, 15 or 16, they were children who were trying to find themselves.
When the sky people came back and had threatened the family, you all had to leave, you didn’t want to go but it was for the safety of your people and your family. It was decided to you all will be leaving towards the Metkayina clan who was also the water clan. The trip was long, you were all exhausted, perhaps even lost but you made it to the village.
At first their was conflict due to being from the forest and for your kids having demon blood. Thankfully you were welcomed in which really meant a lot. Once you all settled in, Neytiri was still unhappy, she didn’t want to leave her home. You understood her, you didn’t want to leave either but it was for safety.
Neytiri seemed to not really want to learn like you and Jake, she wanted to remain using her abilities from the jungle, while you and Jake were the ones who made an effort on trying to be like the Metkayina, you were being thought by Tonowari on how to ride a skimswin, you thought it’d be diffiult but you got the hang of it thr first try, meanwhile Jake had failed on his first attempt, this reminded you on his first time trying to learn to be one of them.
Days went on until a fight between Lo’ak, Neteyam and some kids. Lo’ak got the most heat off it since he was defending his sister for being called a freak. When Jake made Lo’ak go apologies and make peace with Ao’nung, you gave him a disapproving look, Jake only shrugged it off.
Next was when Lo’ak went missing, then got found. When you got there with Jake and Neytiri you were worried, when she approached her child she checked if she was okay then it was your turn to see if he got injured. You pulled Lo’ak into a tight hug, mumbling that thank the mother that he is okay.
When Lo’ak took the blame it was obvious that it was Ao’nung who caused this but Lo’ak being a good kid that he is he took the heat. What made you upset was when Jake called Lo’ak a disappointment to the family, then it was when he told Neteyam that he was suppose to be in charge of watching his brother. That did it. You walked over and told Neteyam to follow you as you both walked to were Lo’ak went you gave your mate another disaproving look, along with a look which made you enraged.
You spotted Lo’ak sitting in the beach, you and Neteyam went to join him. You sat on his left while Neteyam on his right. “So, what happened?” you asked as Lo’ak didn’t look at you but at the ocean, he did this when he would lie. “I already did, it was my idea” he said as you smiled at him softly “I know when you lie to me Lo’ak, tell me the truth” you said as he sighed and looked at you.
“It was Ao’nung who planned it, I took the heat because I know what is like to be a disappointment, I’ve always been” he said, this hurt your heart, seeing him talk about himself like that. “You are not” you said as then he spoke again “I am, you heard what father said” he said as you now gave him a firm look. “You are not, both you listen to me” you said, getting both attention.
“You are both kids, children, your father may think you are soldier but you are not, both of you are the best kids anyone could as for. Yes you both have done bad stuff and got into trouble but that’s the part of being boys, you are living your lives.” You said as you then looked both at them in the eyes “Listen carefully, you are both smart, you are both kind and mostly you are both important” you said as they nodded but you spoke again. “Now say it, you are both smart, you are both kind and you’re important” you said as they now repeated it what you said.
“We are both smart, we are both kind and we are important” they said as you then pulled them into a tight hug and gave them kisses on their faces. “Y/n! stop it tickles!” They said laughing as they tried to get away but you didn’t let them. “Nope!” you said as you all laughed, still hugging them tightly. “I love you both, you are both my favorite boys” you said as Neteyam chimed in. “We are your only boys” he said making you smile “you’re right.”
After you all walked back to the Marui, you saw Neytiri and Jake talking but stopped when they spotted you three. “Go to bed” you said as you hugged each boy and gave them a kiss on the forehead and they went to bed. “We need to talk” you said switching your face at the one you gave him earlier. “About?” Jake as looking at you “you need to stop being to hard on them, specially Lo’ak” you said as Jake sighed “I am their father, It’s my job” he said giving you that bullshit excuse. “Yes you are their father, but they’re not your soldiers, they’re your fucking kids. They’re at that age that when you tell them anything hurtful it will remain with them” you said, but as Jake was about to talk Neytiri stopped him. “Listen to Y/n” she said as Jake stayed silent.
“You may think that they’re adult, but they’re kids, teens Jake, not your little squad in which you can tell them on what they can and cannot do. Lo’ak has tried and get your approval almost all his life, but you don’t see it, but if he does something wrong you call him out on it. As for Neteyam, give him a break, he is also a kid, yes he is the oldest but he still a kid, not a babysitter.” You were now ranting, you had held this in for a while, you didn’t say anything because you didn’t want to have problems with your mate but this was the final straw.
“Ma Jake, y/n is right, they’re your kids, not your soldiers” Neytiri said as Jake had a face of guilt. Now he had realized that he had fucked up big time. You were right, Lo’ak and Neteyam were his children not his soldier. “And if you continue this, I will leave, but I’m taking the children” you said, the made Jake look at you in fear. “No, please, y/n don’t go” he said as he walked over to you and pulled you into a hug, scared that you would vanish.
“If you don’t want me to leave, start acting like a father” you said as you hugged him back, you didn’t want to leave your mates, but if it was for the sake of your children, so be it. Then Neytiri came and hugged you from behind, laying her head on your shoulder. She didn’t want you to leave them either, hopefully this was a wake up call towards Jake. “Sullys stick together, we will stick together” you said as you were still hugging each other.

The leathery flap of your Ikan’s wings pushed you higher above the tree line. You told her to keep a steady pace beside Toruk Makto with the rest of the warriors soaring through the dense forest. Sylway did as she was told while brushing past the greenery and other Ikran. She was an albino with light yellow and tan accents.
The RDA train was on schedule and so were you, assault rifle in hand – your preferred weapon from the traditional bow and arrow like Neytiri.
The ground war party was steadily barreling towards the tracks beneath the dozens of Ikran above. Your heartbeat quickened against your breast as the clearing and train rails fast approached in the distance. Your senses heightened, from the tinkling of your braids in the wind, to the sound of Sylway’s breathe. It was all so sensitive and loud.
Then, all hell broke loose.
You screamed an encouraging roar towards the other warriors beside you, lifting your arm up holding your weapon. Neytiri clicked her teeth and screeched as well, showing off her father’s bow. He was with them in spirit.
The explosion of the rails grounded your resolve.
You chased beside a gunship before gaining enough momentum to flip upside down and fire a hail of bullets into the cockpit, steadying your Ikran upright with a loud whoop as the ship lost control and fell into the ground.
Like ants to a honey-oozed split in a tree, the Na’vi below got to work exploiting the scattered RDA cargo. You watched from above for any more incoming airships.
Then, through your scopes with ears pinching backwards, you saw the two biggest headaches of the clan. Neteyam and Lo’ak.
Putting down your scopes, you reeled your eyes with a light shake of your head and cussed.
You could smack’em!
Fucking idiots!
Spits of rocket fire then screeched through the air, causing your Ikran to instinctively bank away from the weapon spree to protect herself and you.
Explosions hit the ground and you panicked. Fortunately, a mounted warrior retaliated with a rocket launcher and took the machine down in a fiery trail of blaze and smoke.
Placing your fingers onto the com around your neck, you shout, “Jake! You read me!?”
He breathily responds as he crawled and jumped through the wreckage for his boys, “Get me visuals on my sons!”
You searched the area but it was too clouded to see ground level from your height.
“Negative. The smoke is too thick!”
“Copy. Retreat immediately.”
~
As you took your rider’s harness off Sylway, you could hear the shouts of Jake’s disappointment from across the caverns. Patting your Ikran’s neck for a good job, your ears tipped back lightly with quilt. You should have seen them descend onto the ground, but you were distracted with anxiety watching the horizon for RDA gunships.
Gazing over to the Sully family, your eyes sunk as you watched the two boys walk away to recover their wounds, Jake walking in the opposite direction to decompress, his tail swiping in all different directions from his rage.
It was done. There was nothing you could do but let the storm pass.
After your adrenaline calmed and you had something to eat, you went to find Norm and the other humans to give them your daily rider’s mask footage for their never ending research into the world of Pandora. It was the least you could do to stay connected to your human side… and show off your battle moves.
You could see that Norm was still connected to his avatar as he brushed his teeth and joked with the Sully kids who were maneuvering through the human camp.
Walking into the old RDA unit, the balls of your cheeks lifted as your grinned towards Max, hand outreached with the small camera on your rider’s mask for him to take.
He was always a welcoming sight, even though your appearance had changed significantly since your transition, he had always treated your like the same old scientist he had worked with before you became Na’vi.
Your heart sank as you saw Kiri having to watch her mother through a projection and a tank. Unable to touch or hug one’s mother had its toll on the young girl and you mourned for Grace’s daughter. Mourned for what could have been if Grace had survived.
Your former mentor would have been so proud of the woman Kiri was becoming. She would have been so proud of you too, living one with the Na’vi and surviving through your sickness that ultimately made Jake and Mo’at decide to help you transition to your healthy, non-diseased avatar body.
After you handed the camera to Max, you exited the unit and passed by Norm’s now dormant avatar body in his cot. By the threshold was a few pictures of the Sully family with the human scientists, Grace with her students from years past before the war, and one in particular that pulled at your heartstrings: Trudy sitting in her gunship.
The picture must’ve been taken by Lyle sometime when they first arrived to Pandora.
Everyone who came to Pandora was escaping something else left behind on Earth.
It was a fresh start.
Every person who took the journey was naïve, young, and full of hope for a better future… until they reached the ‘final frontier’ and realized that it was just another shithole. Then slowly that glimmer of goodness and hope snuffed itself out, eventually turning the best of soldiers into assholes and the scientists into recluses.
But you… you tried to hold onto that hope, even in the end when you were dying.
You gave a solemn grin towards Trudy and gently fist pumped the picture before stepping out into the Na’vi settlement inside the vast cave system of the Halleluiah mountains.
Into your home, you sat down on your cot and rubbed your temple. You had a massive headache and reached for your pills. Over the years, the war and the fall of the RDA broke down your ‘spirit’ as Mo’at had put it, leaving you to resort to pill popping every day to help you sleep.
When you found the leftover stash of pills in the abandoned RDA medical bay, you knew you were doomed. There was plenty of medicine for a few decades, but the pills you exploited had dwindled to a few containers in just fifteen years. You were too ashamed to ask for help or let anyone know about your addiction.
You laughed at yourself. Everyone thought the RDA was killed off during the war, but it still lingered to ravage the one person who wanted to desperately leave it all behind: you.
Ironically, at one point, the RDA was going to save you with a life altering surgery on Earth, but of course that journey home would never come, nor would you have survived your sleep in cryo. Your disease was too advanced at that point and war had already begun – you, Grace, Norm, Jake, and Trudy all escaping into the woods last minute.
Parker was the one who orchestrated the whole deal with the military on your behalf in secret.
He was just a manager trying to make business deals wherever he could dab into just like he did with Jake. And he was trying to save face and hold the whole company together that was inevitably falling apart no matter how ‘diplomatic’ he was trying to be.
When he broke it to you that you would… could… be saved from the cancer spreading through your spine, it had taken everything out of you to try to keep a foothold in the lab and the RDA.
A double life.
You and Jake had confided in each other for the same problems. Jake wanted his legs back, but he fell in love with Pandora too quickly. And you? You wanted to live.
Sifting through your things, you took out a box filled with pictures of the old you.
A whole life shoved away into stained carboard that you’d hoped one day you could forget about.
Flipping through the pictures, you found the ones taken when you had first arrived to Pandora with the other scientists. You were the youngest, a child prodigy who grew to become the woman Grace had chosen to accompany her to a foreign planet… five years before Tommy Sully would be killed.
You stood up abruptly and found a metal tray. Taking out a lighter, you brought the small flame to the stack of photos.
Slowly the blue and yellow ambers ate the pictures until they were a pile of black dust.
Your shoulders slacked and you sighed, then cleaned up the ashes of a past life and went to bed.
~
The next morning felt different. Almost like the world was reborn anew and it was a new day. You wanted to move on from last night and continue to focus on what mattered in front of you.
You shoved a tank top over your arms and slipped it over your torso before clipping a few feathered and beaded necklaces around your neck, resting just atop your breasts. The cargo capris you chose were basic camo as always to blend in with nature. No need to wear boots anymore for your feet had become tough and calloused over the years running around with the Na’vi on their hunts when Ikrans weren’t necessary. You chose some dangle earrings for your lobes and then stepped forward into camp, rifle settled against your back.
The morning was perfect until four heads caught your attention.
Morning ruined.
Your eyes narrowed, ears slightly poking upwards, when you took note of Lo’ak, Kiri, and Spider trying to chase away Tuk from their group. She tugged Kiri’s arm and said something that clearly made Lo’ak cease his attitude and bend to the young one’s wishes, expelling a few ‘ssshhhs’ at her while looking around the camp.
Your suspicions were reinforced when the four Na’vi exited the cave with a little too much bounce in their steps.
So naturally, you followed.
You weren’t going to let Lo’ak get in trouble again.
~
The woods were humming with life and buzzing all around you, like Eywa was breathing through every pink leaf and green blade of grass that brushed your ankle. The sunlight filtering through the canopy of jungle warmed the crown of your head as you steadied your bodyweight evenly from foot to foot, bouncing here and there over thick vines and rocks.
You were at peace here in the beautiful wilderness.
The crunch and muddy splash of your bare feet was light as to not reveal yourself to the Sully children who were blissfully unaware of you following behind them. You grinned when Tuk poked her tongue out at her older brother when he mocked her for what she had said about ‘telling mom’ earlier at camp.
So that’s what that was about.
They kept up a steady place towards unfamiliar territory from the war that you were pretty sure Jake had told them to stay clear of. Once they had gotten far enough, you brushed through the woods quickly in a different direction to get in front of them. You wanted to stop them from going further into an unknown region you yourself was uncomfortable with because this side of the forest was cursed in your eyes. It was where Jake had finished the last fight against the RDA.
Against the Colonel.
Your skin tingled at the thought of finding Quaritch’s corpse.
Then a puddle caught your attention in the corner of your golden eyes.
Looking closer, ears falling tightly against your head in fear, it was larger than your foot, and no toes were visible so it was a booted footprint but too large to be human.
Avatar?
But what would an Avatar be doing this far out from base or from the old Hell’s Gate lab where Spider grew up with the science guys.
Looking up, you had lost track of the kids.
Shit!
Quickly regaining yourself and using your hunter skills, you find Spider and the Sully’s foot patterns again and swiftly make your way through the wooden trails to find them.
Peering up, you saw that daylight was going to disappear in a few hours. Eclipse would come and Jake was going to kill Lo’ak.
Brushing past a large leaf, you find the Sully children looking over an old gunship hanging from vines and take a sigh of relief while thanking the Great Mother.
Stepping forward, poor Spider jumped making Tuk scream before calming, realizing it was you.
“(Y/N)!” Tuk ran up to your side and hugs your hip making you smile and pat her head gently.
Lo’ak jumped down from a large, fallen tree trunk and asked you how you found them.
“Yeah, we’re in the middle of nowhere,” Spider chimed in.
“Well, you’re not a good tracker if you hadn’t noticed me following you since base,” you say, folding your arms in disappointment at Lo’ak’s lack of awareness but also his lack of self-control for getting into trouble.
“We need to leave before eclipse,” you note.
“But we want to find dead bodies,” Tuk replied with a little too much enthusiasm that made you chuckle.
“Just one more hour?” Spider asked politely, soft eyes through his exopack.
Your head tilted and you gave in with a loud breath. “Fine. But if you get in trouble, I’m not bailing you out.”
“If you allow us to go, you’re just as guilty,” Lo’ak teased walking away with a proud smile as he turned his weight to hop over a log.
“That’s why I’m coming with! To make sure you don’t get too carried away, skxawng,” you retorted effortlessly, arms swaying in front of your as you pick up a spot in front of the group near Lo’ak.
Then, just as quickly as the positive mood came, it died when another print in the mud captured Lo’ak and Spider’s attention.
“Could it be human?”
“Too big for a human,” you replied. “I saw another track earlier not far from here,” your braids fell over your shoulder when you crouched down in between the boys, “could be from the same group?”
Moving forward, the boys tracked the footprints while you hesitantly followed their curiosity, for you too were curious about who had left the tracks.
It wasn’t long before the trail led to an old avatar link unit in a small clearing.
A flicker of blue moving around near the unit had your blood sink from your face and into your stomach. These were possibly avatars and they were in camo with heavy protection in their hands.
You quietly swing your rifle to your front and hold it close as you squatted lower, watching the avatars attentively.
“You’re going to be grounded… for life,” Kiri said in a hushed voice behind you towards Lo’ak.
“Be quiet,” you hissed at the lot of them.
You look over to Lo’ak, “Call it in. Now.”
The youngest son reluctantly placed his fingers to his neck and informed his father of the strange soldiers in the woods. Jake told them to move out as quietly as they could and you followed suit.
“Protect my children,” Neytiri said through your earpiece you briefly borrow from Lo’ak.
A fire burned in you when she said that, hand gripping your rifle hard. You would get these kids out of here. For her. For Jake. These kids were yours now and you weren’t going to allow them to be harmed by those soldier aliens.
You placed a firm hand on Lo’ak’s shoulder and looked him directly in the eye, ears upright and eyes wide with all seriousness.
“Get yourselves out of here, I will make a distraction -- you hear me, boy?”
“Yes, ma’am,” he said, dipping his chin with a short nod.
With that, you stepped lightly and maneuvered quickly through the forest around the clearing and only stopped when you found yourself behind one of the soldiers a little bit away from the group who wasn’t watching his six enough. Slinging your rifle behind you, you pulled out your knife.
He moved forward into the clearing when a scream echoed through the trees beyond, sounding a lot like Tuk.
You gathered that these were RDA from the guy’s attire and type of weapon he carried. That made you pissed. At least he would be a worthy target when you slit his throat.
But that moment had to wait when your mind paused in shock as Spider and the Sully children were pushed into the clearing and forced onto their knees, queues roughly handled by the strange soldiers.
Great Mother, give me strength.
Then you heard a voice in your native English you didn’t think you’d hear until you died and went to hell.
“Look boss, five fingers. We have a half-breed,” Lyle sneered with a little cockiness as he held up Kiri’s hand.
The leader of the group was obscured by the brush and when you tried to see his face, he had already turned around to face Lo’ak.
“Do you speak English,” the soldier pinching the young Na’vi’s braid asked him.
“I don’t speak English… to assholes,” he spat making you so proud.
“Show me your fingers,” the leader roughly commanded.
Then Lo’ak picked up his hands, both fingers to your amusement giving the bird.
“Yeah, you’re his alright.”
While the enemy was distracted and with a rush of adrenaline, you pushed forward out of the shadows, grabbed the lone soldier’s braid in a tight grip making him growl in pain, and firmly pressed the edge of your knife to his bare throat, your hand around his queue yanking his neck backwards for better exposer. Your ears tipped backwards closely to your head, eyes wide, fangs bared with hate as you hissed towards the alien soldiers.
And in what felt like an eternity of silence from your native tongue, you spoke plainly.
“Release them, or I’ll slit his throat,” you seethed, blade catching your hostage’s neck and spilling a few dribbles of blood.
Then, when the leader of the group finally turned his weight around, shoulders squared, and faced you, you couldn’t hear Eywa’s breath through the trees anymore. Your lungs hitched in your throat, heart dropping a few beats slower making your head faint. Golden eyes bore into your form, mimicking the same shock and curiosity as you did.
“Miles?” you breathed, brow creased and ears flicking upright.
You couldn’t feel your grip loosen, nor the sound of the rush of twigs being broken behind you. Then your senses snapped back into place, but it was too late. Turning your head, you found the butt of a rifle colliding with your skull.

“Again.”
“No, your stance is wrong.”
“Have you even been paying attention?”
You huff in frustration, lowering your bow to hold in one hand as you exam the other hand littered with blisters. It’s been hours since you’ve been at, trying to learn how to shot an unmoving target but it hasn’t been going well.
Jake said that Neteyam was a great teacher, that you would learn fast with him. It’s been 3 months and you only just got off hand to hand combat two weeks ago. You’re starting to think Jake has too much fate in his son.
“I need a break,” you whine, looking at him standing there tall and devilishly handsome with his broad shoulders and chisel chest, hidden behind crossed arms. It wasn’t a lie, you really needed one, his comments were starting to annoy you again. For your sanity, a hour apart would be good. But he wasn’t giving in.
He shakes his head, uncrossing his arms and walks over to stand next to you, “We continue, you get done quicker.” He says it like it’s the most obvious thing—and it was but you were tired, “Again.” He gestures with his head towards the target.
Sighing deeply, you get back into position. Parting you legs, raising your bow and pulling back the string, ready to let the arrow fly free. You hear him before you feel him, smacking his teeth as he circles around you to stand behind you.
“Your feet need to be wider than your shoulders,” he grumbles, using his foot to push yours further apart. Your breath hitch when his palm touches your upper back, “And your back needs to be straight,” with light pressure, he glides it down your spine and rests briefly on your lower back, right above your tail, “Hips need to be centered,” he slides his hand to your hip, firmly gripping it and putting it in the right position.
His touch leaves your body for a moment, allowing you to breath correctly for a few inhales, then returns with his body closer than he’s ever been, well, if you don’t count that one spar moment... Both his hands are on you this time, one on your hip and the other on your bicep, raising it so the bow was chest level, “There.” He whispers, “This is the proper form.”
It was hard to hear him or was it hard to focus? Either way the sound of your heart beating wildly in your chest was making it difficult. It was uncomfortable, you’ll much rather welcome deafening silence than this. Anything would be more welcoming than clammy hands and a flushed heat spreading throughout your body.
His breath fans your neck, causing goosebumps to form and you couldn’t help but to slightly turn your head to peak at him. No surprise his face was as serious as he took this training. You wonder what he looked like when he smiled? Then that made you wonder if he ever smiled and if he didn’t, would it kill him to do it once?
Doesn’t have to be at you. Though, lately you wouldn’t mind… but in general, he was so uptight.
Neteyam could feel your eyes on him, with one small turn of his head, he could be staring into them. The thought alone makes him queasy, so actually doing it might make him feel worse, “Shoot the bow.” He forces himself to focus on the training, albeit he was probably a little ahead of himself when he touched you a little more intimate than necessary minutes ago.
“Okay.” You whisper, sweeping your eyes over his face one last second before looking at the target too. You suck in sharply, exhaling in a chuckle. You will never get used to be able to breath without coughing, never. Quickly, you let the string go and time slows between you both, his hands gripping you on impulse then releases.
A loud thud echos around the area, and you stare at the target in disbelief. It hit dead in the center, you had to be hallucinating. Dropping the bow, you turn abruptly, smiling so wide your cheeks start to hurt just a little already, “Did you see that?!” your hands find placement on his shoulders as you peer up at him.
There it was, a silver of a smile. It wasn’t much, but it was proof that he could be anything but mr. stick up his ass.
“Good job,” he praises, face free of any stress he’s been holding, “Now you may rest.” He steps back from you and head in the direction of Hometree.
You cheer at that, quickly picking up your bow and chasing after him. The soft ground against your feet and the soft wind grazing your skin was two of the things you loved about pandora. It filled you with joy, never really having the chance to experience it before.
Gazing at his broad back, an overwhelming desire consumed you—to have a conversation with him, not just about your training, but to truly get to know him. Despite having train with him over the months, he ensures a distance remain, intentionally keeping it that way.
Feeling a sense of detachment and longing to understand the ways of the Na'vi, it becomes challenging when your teacher and his mother consistently give you the cold shoulder. Perhaps that is why it feels even harder for you, knowing deep down they are silently judging you, assessing your worth, and viewing you primarily as one of the sky people, failing to see your true potential.
It kills you. These are the only two individuals within the Sully family, along with a few other Na'vi in the clan, who have not yet to warm up to you. You often find solace in seeking out Jake since he relates the most and when he is not available, Kiri, as she understood you first.
The most interesting fact wasn’t even that. It was that Mo'at has gradually grown closer to you. She finds you bearable and recognizes your potential in healing after discovering you engrossed in a sky person's book one day. When you explained its contents and significance, she actually encourages you to learn healing in the ways of the Na'vi—to become adept like her people.
Since that important moment, your excitement has been growing stronger. In addition to your regular training with Neteyam, you eagerly look forward to immersing yourself in the fascinating world of Na'vi healing techniques. Understanding how Na'vi bodies work is something that truly captivates you. Sometimes you turn to Norm for guidance, even though he doesn't know everything. It makes him feel good when you include him in your learning process.
He jokingly mentions that you could be an amazing doctor if you were back on Earth.
Just the thought of becoming a doctor fills you with immense happiness. It feels like a dream come true, something you can't quite believe is within your reach. People even started calling you "Doctor" as a playful nickname, and it always brings a blush to your cheeks and a smile to your face.
However, as you approach Hometree, your spirits momentarily dampen. You witness Neteyam walk away quickly, leaving behind a lingering sense of sadness. It hurts to think that he wants to distance himself from you immediately. You weren’t a disease, at least not anymore. And even if you were, you still had feelings.
Before you have the chance to dwell on these emotions, you jolt when someone playfully jumps on your back, nearly causing you to lose your balance. The familiar laughter that follows is contagious, and you instantly recognize the source: Kiri. You return her excitement, "Kiri, you nearly knocked me off my feet," you tease, gently shrugging her off to face her directly.
"Sorry, doc. I haven't seen you since this morning," she apologizes, linking her arms with yours in a comforting gesture. "I think you called it separation anxiety before."
You nod, a small smile playing on your lips as she gives you a playful shove before pulling you closer. "You're not supposed to agree!" she pouts, her eyes filled with mock disappointment. You can't help but laugh at her adorable expression. "But how was the training?"
Her question sparks excitement within you, and your face lights up with joy. "I actually think I've discovered a hidden talent for archery. It seems I'm more skilled with a bow than in hand-to-hand combat," you share enthusiastically. As she guides you towards her home, a mix of anticipation and unease settles in your stomach. You know that entering her family's hut means facing her mother, and your relationship has always been strained. "Wait, Kiri," you try to pull away, but her unexpected strength surprises you, despite her smaller frame.
"That was quick. So, does that means you will learn to hunt now?" she asks, holding the flap of the hut open and leading you inside. As you step in, your eyes meet Neytiri's, who sits at the center of the hut, skillfully folding meat into leaves. She acknowledges Kiri's presence with a nod, her gaze briefly shifting towards you, filled with curiosity and a hint of skepticism. Neytiri questions Kiri about the meaning behind her statement as she continues with her task.
"Doc over here has shown great skill with the bow. It looks like Neteyam and her will hunting next," Kiri proudly announces your progress, a sense of pride evident in her voice as if you were her own kin. "No surprise!" she adds, unable to contain her delight.
Neytiri lets out a dismissive scoff, her face revealing a lack of amusement. She averts her gaze, refusing to acknowledge your achievements. "She's no doctor. She's not Na'vi. Her skill is nothing more than luck," she grumbles, returning her focus to the meticulous task of folding meat, seemingly unimpressed.
You tighten your hold on Kiri, your eyes locking in a silent plea for her to leave, but she remains rooted in place, visibly displeased by her mother's words. "She is a doctor. She possesses knowledge and skill like one, and if you took the time to know her instead of judging her, you would see it too." Kiri's voice carries a rare heat, her glare burning with determination. "Why can't you learn to accept her, just like you did with Dad?"
After Kiri expresses her frustration, she pulls you away from the hut, leading you back in the direction of the lab. It before the transfer, you still spend your days at the lab, as your connection with the native Na'vi remains unchanged. The realization saddens you deeply. Eywa has granted you a remarkable opportunity—a chance to immerse yourself in the ways of the Na'vi.
However, their resistance and unwillingness to embrace you weigh heavily on your heart. It doesn't matter that Eywa herself played a role in your presence here; the history of conflict between the sky people and the Na'vi still lingers with animosity towards the sky people that taints their perception.
“I’m sorry bout her…” Kiri breaks the silence you didn’t know blanketed you both, apologizing again on her mother behalf, which she does more often unfortunately. She’s ahead of you by a few feet, back turnt so you can’t see her expression but her ears flat against her head told you want you needed. She felt bad, possibly for putting you in that position again or could be something else, “I—“
You interrupt her, firmly holding her hand in yours. "I understand, Kiri," you respond, the lab coming into view. However, what truly matters to you in this moment is acknowledging your best friend's feelings. "I hate to admit that I've grown accustomed to it, but I'm grateful to have you looking out for me."
She releases your hand and playfully pushes you. "As if that's even in question. Now come on, I want to say hi to Mom," she urges, hastening towards the lab door. You both wait for a moment as Norm and Max navigate their way inside before entering. Kiri goes straight to Grace, while you settle down at one of the large computers, clicking on a simulator application.
Throughout the years, Max had been kind enough to develop a simulator of sorts, primarily for medical purposes. It allows you to practice and train, given that you can't directly attend to humans or the Na'vi. Some individuals, especially pregnant Na'vi whose anxiety is heightened due to hormonal changes, still maintain a level of caution around you, even when you're in the presence of Mo'at.
You played through 3 simulations successfully and as you were on your 4th, a voice behind you spoke, “That’s gross.” Instantly you recognized the voice to be Spider, and where spider was, Lo’ak was too.
Shaking your head, you pause the pregnancy birth simulator to spin around, looking at him tauntingly, “Then you can relate.” smiling, you get up from the chair, “except birth is beautiful and you’re just gross, now that I think bout it.”
Spider blinks before opening his mouth, about to reply but Lo’ak stops him, patting his chest with smirk on his lips, “Take the L, bro. You won’t win.” Spider slumps his shoulders at his comment, frowning as he looks off with a defeated expression.
You humph at Spider, then look at Lo’ak, “What trouble are you getting into today?” You ask, already knowing how Lo’ak and Spider worked since before you got your avatar. The could definitely get into it by themselves but the more the merry was much more fun. Your hunch was correct when a wicked smile spreads across his face, looking at you with mischief.
“You haven’t had the chance to really explore pandora life yet,” he starts, only to be cut off by a laughing Spider, grin matching Lo’ak’s,
“You saw only a small portion of pandora when you transferred, we thought you might want to come along to watch some animals for the first time?” He adds, waiting for your reply, briefly looking off to the side when Kiri comes along.
She strides over to you, leaning back onti the table of the computer and frowns with a shake of her head, “That doesn’t sound like a good idea,” she explains to them, looking at you, “This is dangerous.”
And you considered her words. You did. But only shortly. Spider and Lo’ak were right. You’ve been so busy with training with both Mo’at and Neteyam that you neglected actually exploring pandora when you now could. So it may be dangerous, but it was a chance you needed to take before being thrown back into more teachings.
“Okay. I’ll be down.” You turn back to the computer to shut it off and jump happily from your seat. Giving Kiri a an amused smile, you decide to ease her concerns. A worried expression doesn’t look good on her, “You can come along, yknow? To look out for me.”
Kiri scoffs off to the side with an eye roll, pushing herself off the table, “As if I was going to let you go by yourself to begin with.” She gestures with her head to Lo’ak, “Go on, lead the way.”
The trek to where ever they were leading you was amazing. Being stuck inside almost all your life have been nothing compared to what was outside all this time. Pandora was beautiful, you kept giving distracted and sidetracked, wanting to play with the fauna on the way. Like a toddler getting to explore for the first time , you eyes blown wide in adoration. You wanted to see everything!
“Keep up, [Name],” Lo’ak reminds you, a good five meters away, “We’re almost there!”
“Okay! I’m coming.” You get up from your crouch position, jogging over to Kiri, who is waiting for you. Giving her a smile, you grab her outreached hand and let her drag you to where the others have finally stopped, “Are we there?” You ask, letting go of Kiri's hand and brushing past Lo’ak's large frame to enter a clearing.
“Not yet,” Lo’ak grumbles, walking over to you and pointing to a large tree, “We have to start climbing now. The animal we’re going to see is dangerous. High ground is safe.” He stalks towards the tree, Spider in tow.
You don’t budge from your spot as you eye the intimidating tree, chewing on the inside of your cheek. There is only one time you have had to climb a tree, and that was when you first transferred.
It’s safe to say it didn’t end well. You didn’t break anything, but the fall was deep and you’ve been dreading having to do it again. Especially with the knowledge that it is common among forest Na’vi, who do it almost daily.
Kiri sees your dazed expression and she can’t help but chuckle to herself before clapping in your face, successfully grabbing your attention, “Baby steps, you got this.” She walks away, easily climbing the tree.
You feel like you're going to regret this as you watch her move gracefully, but you had brace yourself mentally when you approach the tree. Looking up it at the others, even Spider as they all look down at you in wait.
Quickly you inhale sharply and exhale slowly more slowly to calm your nerves and soon start to climb, struggling due to the thick width of the tree. But by Eywa, you make it to where the others are, and they smile at you proudly. Your face flushes at the attention, "Would you guys cut it out!"
The trio says nothing, only rolling their eyes before jumping to another tree branch with such speed and grace that you momentarily forget you're now part of their world as you stumble to keep balance. You know better than to look down, as you're still getting used to your new body and don't want to experience the same vertigo you felt the last time.
To your surprise, you managed to keep pace with the agile trio, gradually finding your rhythm and becoming more at ease with your movements. It was an exhilarating experience to effortlessly match their steps and mimic their fluid motions.
Amazement washed over you as you reveled in your newfound abilities. The ease with which you moved and the unhindered breaths you took left you in awe. Moving through the environment felt natural and effortless, as if you were born to be part of this world. It was a sensation that surpassed any dream you could have imagined, a reality more enchanting than your wildest fantasies.
Again, you find yourself in a precarious situation as the three of them come to a sudden halt just as you hop onto the branch they're perched on. Before you can utter a word, Lo'ak silences you with a gentle press of his finger against his lips. He motions for you to draw nearer, and you cautiously comply.
As you stand beside him, he crouches down low, his hand pointing downwards. Your breath catches in your throat as you contemplate the daunting task of looking down. However, you muster up the courage, knowing that if you were to slip and fall, they would make an effort to catch you.
You gaze in awe at the majestic Hammerhead Titanothere, a name coined by the sky people to describe these magnificent creatures. Everything in Pandora seemed to be on a grand scale, and it fascinated you. While you had some understanding of this before your transfer, experiencing it firsthand as an avatar made it even more astonishing.
Eager to get a closer look, you inch your way along a slender branch, oblivious to its slight bend under your weight. "They're so adorable!" you exclaim, your voice filled with admiration as you watch the playful antics of the baby Titanothere.
Suddenly, Spider appears behind you, and a loud snap reverberates through the area, sending shivers down your spine. Within seconds, Spider is calling out your name, but it's Lo'ak who acts swiftly, grasping your arm and knocking Kiri off balance, forcing her to cling desperately to the branch for dear life.
"Kiri!" you cry out, realizing that the attention of the Titanothere has now shifted to the four of you. Their heads lower menacingly, ready to charge. "Pull me up! Pull me up!" you plead, reaching out to grab Lo'ak with your other arm. Your priority is to reach Kiri. Although Spider is helping, the weight difference between him and Kiri makes it impossible for him to lift her to safety alone.
Finally, with Lo'ak's assistance, you regain your balance on the branch. Without wasting a moment, all of you rush towards Kiri just as the Titanothere relentlessly ram into the tree. "Shit!" Spider curses, clutching your shirt with one hand while trying to support Kiri with the other.
Kiri winces in pain as she's yanked up, her leg scraping against the rough surface in the process. Holding onto her tightly, the three of you scramble down to the base of the tree, seeking shelter from the thunderous blows reverberating through the air.
Spider's face contorts with fear as he points out the deep gash on Kiri's calf. Panic surges within you as you realize the severity of her injury.
"Kiri's hurt!" Spider exclaims, his voice trembling with concern.
Your mind races, desperately searching for a solution. "We need to get back to highcamp," you say, your voice laced with urgency. "Maybe if we wait there, the Titanothere will lose interest in us." You glance at Lo'ak, seeking his agreement. He clings to the tree, his expression cautious.
"I've never been the target of a Titanothere before," Lo'ak whispers, his voice barely audible amidst the chaos. "Let try it…" Another resounding impact shakes the ground, emphasizing the imminent danger that surrounds you.
After what feels like an eternity, the relentless assault of the Titanothere subsides. The massive creatures gradually retreat, their thunderous footsteps fading into the distance. Exhausted and relieved, you and your companions make your way back to highcamp, treading carefully through the dense foliage.
Entering the familiar hut, a wave of unease washes over you as you find Neytiri, Jake, and Neteyam gathered inside. Their expressions reveal deep concern as they take in the sight of Kiri's injured leg.
Jake's voice carries a mix of worry and authority as he demands an explanation, his arms enveloping Kiri gently as he eases her down onto a comfortable mat. His eyes search for answers, and he turns to Lo'ak, his gaze filled with expectation. "Tell me what happened," he implores, his tone urgent.
Lo'ak takes a deep breath, feeling the weight of responsibility, and proceeds to recount the events. "We thought it would be a good idea to show [Name] a Titanothere from a safe distance," he explains, briefly glancing at Neteyam, who shoots him a disapproving look, "[Name] lost her footing, and I rushed to help. Then Kiri slipped and got her injury while we were trying to help her."
Neytiri, having heard enough, rises from attending to Kiri's wound. Her gaze locks onto you, her expression of anger as she confronts you with a sharp hiss, baring her teeth threateningly, "So, this is your doing?" she accuses, her voice filled with frustration.
"Neytiri!" Jake's feeble attempt to diffuse the tension only adds to the chaos, as her fury distorts her gestures into confused jabs.
"No! A demon like you has no place near our children! It was a mistake to trust you!" Neytiri inches closer, her piercing gaze penetrating your very being. Lo'ak steps forward, assuming a defensive stance, ready to shield you from the torrent of her wrath.
"But that's not true!" Lo'ak's voice rings out with defiance, his unwavering loyalty burning bright, while you stand there, your heart pounding in your chest, aching with a mixture of guilt and despair. It feels as if the fragile bond your tried to build is quickly crumbling into irreparable pieces, and the weight of it all threatens to consume you.
"What were you thinking?!" Neteyam's voice reverberates through the tense silence as he took a bold step forward, his eyes fixed on you. The usually calm and composed warrior now leaks of an intensity that caught everyone off guard.
Stunned and at a loss for words, you stood frozen in place, your heart sinking with each passing moment. How did the situation escalate to this point? It felt as if the entire weight of Pandora's disapproval was bearing down on you, even though you were not the originator of the ill-fated idea.
Neteyam's voice carried a hint of accusation as he continues, his words laced with a mixture of anger and concern, "You're untrained. Your recklessness could have gotten her killed—all of them killed!"
Lo'ak interjects, cutting off Neteyam before he could say more, “She could have been killed too! Be thankful that neither of them are.”
Neytiri scoffs dismissively, rolling her eyes at her son's defense, "She is not part of our family. Her life holds no significance to us."
Gasps are heard all around the room, faces morphing into expressions of anger and sadness, while yours is filled with mortification at the notion of your insignificance. You didn’t matter to them. The realization that you are deemed disposable by those you hoped to gain acceptance from sends a wave of terror coursing through your veins, shattering any remaining illusions of belonging.
Lo'ak and Kiri immediately protest against their mother's callous statement. Their impassioned words, however, fall on deaf ears thanks to Neytiri's indifference. The ringing in your ears grows louder, pulsating with the ache in your chest.
Spider's firm grasp anchors you, pulling you back from the tumultuous emotions swirling around the hut. His expression reflects the gravity of the situation, mirroring the somber atmosphere that hangs heavy in the air. In that moment, you find solace in his presence, yearning to seek refuge within his small, comforting frame, away from the chaos that surrounds you.
Jake's voice breaks through the tension, "Alright, that's enough. Spider, [Name], why don't you both head back to base? I'll come visit you later." His furrowed brow reflects his dissatisfaction with the current situation, yet he takes the lead in guiding you out of the hut, despite your weakened state.
As you slowly retreat, Kiri's voice pierces the air, carrying a palpable sense of worry and remorse, "[Name], Spider," she calls out, her eyes fixed upon your diminishing figures, her voice a whispered plea for understanding and reconciliation.
Lo'ak emits a low growl from deep within his chest, his gaze locked on your form. Frustration and anger course through him, fueling his resolve to challenge the injustice of the moment. He lets out a a resounding declaration when you both disappear behind the hut flap, "This is bullshit."

Here is the first headcanon we are expanding on:
-I think once adopted, Spider is a mama’s boy. He craves physical attention and he has been raised essentially Na’vi in a way that Jake hasn’t. I think he would connect with Neytiri’s parenting style more, I think they’d do a lot of weird shit together that the other kids would rather die than help with, like cooking or mending shit. I think Spider would be literally delighted to help with boring household chores with his mother and that’s so mamas boy of him. He’s a “mother, do you need help with dinner, can I do the dishes so you can sit down?” kid while all the rest of them are gagging and calling him a suck up in the background.
-Spider likes cooking. It's always been something he could help with easily even if he couldn't always eat what was being made. Kiri hates cooking and always has because she hates when her brothers expect her to cook. On Jake and Neytiri's date nights to avoid a fight, Spider would always just offer to help Neteyam.
-Neytiri does most of the cooking for the family. Jake is not a bad cook, he's just not a good cook. He has skills but they are mediocre. She does not mind, because she likes it. It's a chance to personally use Eywa's gifts and transfer them into energy for her family, a way to thank Eywa herself instead of just accepting the bowl from the clan cookfires. It's a calming mental reset every time, and the natural conclusion to every hunting trip.
-None of her children have taken any interest in this particular lifeskill. Kiri, who would sooner let her attention drift and let the cookfire burn the mauri to the ground, doesn't have the attention span for anything other than Eywa. Lo'ak has to be essentially bound and shackled to the cookfire to do any work, and he complains the entire time to the point that Neytiri gets a headache. Neteyam always helps with no complaints, but he obviously does not enjoy it much and it always makes Neytiri feel bad for forcing him because he's the most agreeable. Tuk is too young to be anything other than a nuisance during a task like that.
-So it's comes as a great surprise when, after Neteyam was shot and the demon child rescued, she finds him watching her every move every time she prepares a meal.
-At first she thinks it's because of the boat and the cut on his chest. The knife in her hand as she chops the roots. It's not not that, but it is something more. A curiosity for the direction she stirs a boiling pot, and for the order she adds the spices.
-It had honestly never occurred to Neytiri at all that the child had a personality or interests outside of things mimicked from her children. Insolence and loyalty from Lo'ak, disobedience and morality from Kiri, honesty and stubbornness from Neteyam, even playfulness from Tuk. But none of her kids are at all interested in cooking.
-Spider and Neteyam are both confined to the mauri for recovery, and Neteyam is out like a light by eclipse every night and has to be awoken for evening meal. Spider is silent at Neteyam's side, where he spends most of his time, like Neteyam has to watch him to be sure he's there. She doesn't ask him, just slides over a cutting board and a knife and then passes him a vegetable to cut.
-Neytiri would have to be blind to not notice how perfectly he copies her cuts from before.
-That continues, with Jake and the other kids none the wiser, for a few days, until eventually she puts him in charge of stirring. He has to leave the safety of Neteyam for that, but the lure of the task is too great. He stirs, counterclockwise four times and clockwise twice, just like she always does.
-The next night she tests him. Asks him to get out the ingredients for a certain meal, the one she made the first night she noticed him watching, over a week ago. He doesn't miss a thing. They work shoulder to shoulder, side by side. Every night on, she has him fetch the ingredients unless she shows him something new.
-Tuk is the first to catch them in their silent little game, coming in to see if Neytiri will deem Spider well enough to at least come see the stars, which look particularly clear that night. Neytiri says he can go, and is shocked by how sad he looks for one second before turning to Tuk, like she'd kicked him.
-When she directs him to start the meal the next night he seems surprised, and she realizes he thought the dismissal the night before was a permanent one. So when Tuk comes for him again when he's helping with lunch, she tells Tuk that he's busy. She is not good at reading body language without a tail or ears to judge with, but he turns even pinker than usual and seems to vibrate with energy for the rest of the day.
-Neytiri is fairly sure the entire family knows about the cooking thing, because she's pretty sure Neteyam is not actually asleep at every mealtime still at this point. He's really recovered a lot by now, and she's pretty sure he ratted her out and that's why the mauri becomes essentially off limits to everyone besides her and Spider during every meal prep time. Sometimes she thinks she can hear Kiri and Lo'ak chasing someone off who was trying to come visit.
-Spider and her do not talk for the most part, they just become increasingly in tune with each others movements. Cooking with someone is a hard pairing to match, and Neytiri usually finds it incredibly frustrating, even with Jake sometimes. Spider seems to be able to read her mind, hand her the exact right spice before she even finished the thought about how it was needed, or finishing dicing at the exact moment the vegetables need to be added.
-She finds his personality in tweaks he adds to her recipes, some needed to adjust for his human palate, but always compensated for in an explosion of creativity between them both to find an adequate or even superior substitute. She apologizes in lessons, basics and then the hard stuff, things she should've been teaching him for years. They learn in tandem, each other and the Metkayina cuisine, types of squid and clams and seaweed that add tastes that must be enhanced and balanced with the correct tools, just as a child must be to grow properly.
-She finds herself mourning days alone at the cookfire, or days with one of her other kids who wanted to be anywhere else. Days where he was likely waiting for them outside, interested in what she was doing but not wiling to ask.
-There is no direct apology, not yet. For now it is learning, and building new memories and experiences. His songcord, which she has now seen, is basically a recipe book at this point, Jake says. But so is hers. Songs of slicing meat that provides energy from Eywa, and souls meeting souls for the first time.

Hi, I don’t know if you’re familiar with Demon Slayer, but could you do a Neteyam x Shinobu Mate Reader. Years later after the War, their children are asking how they met and how he knew she was the one. There’s a scene in S1 where Shinobu saves Zenitsu from dying, she flies down from the sky like a butterfly and heals him momentarily until medics come. Could it possibly be a mini series where they fall in love with each other.
neteyam x reader
Tumblr media
Well I haven't watched demon slayer but I can do, a reader with some healing abilities and abilities to bond with nature/animals. There might be some other changes as I planed to make a story like this.
A child had been left in the forest of pandora with no knowledge of her family or clan. she was completely alone on Pandora. This girl that had been found alone will soon on to go to do many great things, with her life.
y/n " huh" a child you had woken up in the middle of the forest of pandora confuses about everyone, as you could barely remember anything that had happened.
y/n " umm my head hurts" you are having a horrible headache as you had stand hoping to see, if you can find someone.
y/n " hello hello is anyone out there hello"
????? " dad I heard someone over here"
???? " wait son come back here" you had soon gotten spoked when you had seen a navi boy, coming running from the brushes he soon stopped when he saw you.
????? " hey you are a kid like me"
y/n " hello I'm y/n"
neteyam " well hello y/n I'm neteyam"
y/n " hello neteyam"
neteyam " why are you out here alone where your mom and dad"
y/n " I don't know I'm lost and I don't remember my mom or dad"
????? " neteyam where are you"
neteyam " over here dad and I found a girl"
Jake " huh oh you did find a girl ... hello little one who your name" Jake had looked down to see an avatar child standing near, him with many questions but he will ask them later.
y/n " y/n"
Jake " well hello there y/n do you know where your parents are"
y/n " no I woke up here all alone I don't know anything my head hurts" Jake soon nodded his head he could tell you are telling the truth, and felt bad for you being out here alone.
Jake " come on let's get you home"
neteyam " come on you can hold my hand and we can take you home with us"
y/n " umm okay" you had grabbed neteyam hand and soon walked away with him, Jake had smiled seeing the two children getting alone he had soon got them to human base.
norm " hey Jake and neteyam welcome back ... hey who the little one with you"
Jake " her name is y/n we found her alone in the forest, we brought her here to help her"
norm " hello y/n we can help you"
y/n " thank you"
max " well she does have some human DNA in her mixed with navi as well, she like your kids Jake"
Jake " wow"
neytiri " ma Jake I have come and brought my mother we came to see the girl"
Jake " she over there with neteyam"
neteyam " when my mom and grandmother get here they will be able to help as well"
y/n " oh okay"
neytiri " neteyam"
neteyam " mom you are here this is my new child y/n"

y/n " yes I don't know where my mom or dad are or even if I have one ... is that bad I can't remember"
mo'at " no little one it not bad let me look at you to see if you are not badly hurt"
y/n " oh okay" mo'at had smile that the girl while looking over here seeing nothing to worry about . She had looked in the girls eyes and felt something powerful in the girl.
mo'at " well it seems like you are okay my child the great mother was watching over you"
y/n " she very nice"
mo'at " yes she is"
neytiri " come on you can wear this it suits you perfect" neytiri had helped you dress and braided your hair.
norm " so what are you going to do with her"
neytiri " she can stay with us we will be her guardians, it seems already netyeam become her friend" the adults were looking at the kids as they were playing, soon them being joined by three more children who are lo'ak, kiri and spider.
max " okay that covers that but what about her family or anything else about her"
Jake " we will deal with that later right now let her be a kid"
mo'at " mother"
mo'at " I sense something great about that girl but I can't tell just yet"
present time
y/n " neteyam slow down"
neteyam " oh come on I'm not going that fast and I'm trying to help you become faster"
y/n " hey I'm fast runner"
neteyam " sure" the two teens were running in the forest having a god time, but unknown to their knowledge trouble was coming for them. They had stopped for a short break to caught their breath and speak with each other.
neteyam " come on we have to enjoy this time when we can, before my dad call for us we are back at home"
y/n " okay I'm coming"
neteyam " see that my girl now come on" the pair soon took off running again, but when neteyam had taken a step he and stepped onto a fragile branch and soon fall.
neteyam " ahh" neteyam ahd fallen all the way down as you had looked scared of what had happened to your friend.
y/n " neteyam" you had soon made you way down as fast and you can while be safe as well, you need to make sure you didn't get hurt as well.
neteyam "y/n"
y/n " neteyam are you okay where does it hurt"
neteyam " I'm fine are you okay you didn't get hurt in the fall"
y/n " no I'm good ... Neteyam you look hurt badly"
neteyam " yeah it feels like it ... ahh I can't move my arm and my leg hurts as well"
y/n " I will call Jake and stay with you to see what I can do" you soon tapped the ear piece on your head.
y/n " Jake Jake come in we have a problem to bad very bad"
Jake " clam down little one what the matter"
y/n " well I and neteyam were playing and we are on the branch when neteyam had stepped on one, it had snapped and he had fallen all the way down to the ground"
Jake " oh crap Neteyam are you okay"
neteyam " hey dad I feel like my arm might be broken and I don't know about my legs< and I'm in some pain as well"
Jake " okay kids stay there and don't move that much I'm going to need you both to stay clam and take control of the situation, as much as you can"
y/n and neteyam " yes sir"
Jake " I will try to come find you both don't worry" the call soon ended the two teen were now looking at each other, you were soon loose for some herbs to help neteyam.
y/n " okay this going to stink a bit but it will help with the cuts"
neteyam " okay I trust you" you had soon mashed up herbs onto neteyam cuts.
neteyam " yeah that stink but it helping"
y/n " I'm out and there nothing else to use that can help"
neteyam " calm down you did your best"
y/n " thank you" neteyam had smiled towards you as you soon started checking the rest of neteyam injuries to help him.
y/n " oh please great mother hear us and help us please" you were saying a pray for some help from the great mother you will take anytime of help from her. When some of the cuts and bruises on neteyam body had started healing, getting both teens attention.
neteyam " how did that happen"
y/n " I don't know it seems like you have healed a bit"
Neteyam " I want to say the great mother did that but it seems like you did that... but how"
y/n " I don't know" soon both kids had gotten spooked when they heard something moving towards them, they had thought it was Jake and the others but they were dead wrong then the footsteps were heavier. Soon enough a Thanator had shown it self looking at the pair as they sat there.
neteyam " oh no"
y/n " neteyam"
neteyam " it going to be okay I will make sure we both are okay" the creature is looking at the pair as they sat there it seems like, it was the end for them as the creature soon leap towards them. Neteyam embracing you into a hug hoping that will protect the both of them, from the impact, but when they felt nothing they soon open their eyes to see the Thanator looking at them.
neteyam " it not attack us anymore"
y/n " yes that is true" you had soon let go of neteyam and soon looked at him, as you were now looking the creatures in the eyes as it looked at you.
y/n " hello there friend"
neteyam " y/n no it could be a trap"
y/n " test me neteyam" you soon placed a hand on the creature's forehead, and it seem to be fine with it soon bowing it head towards you.
y/n " I think I made a new friend and found a way to get us home as well"
neteyam " okay I have heard and seen unknown stuff like this been done before so I'm in" you soon helped neteyam up and get him towards the Thanator who low it self down, for you and neteyam to get onto it back and soon the both of you took off towards the village.
neteyam " I don't wish to question the actions of eywa but what going on here"
y/n " I don't know but I will find out later just hold on" neteyam just nodded his head, as the two of you are racing through the forest of the back of the Thanator. The creatures soon stopped moving and soon got low again, you and neteyam saw the village was not that far away.
Jake " neteyam y/n" Jake had came running towards you and neteyam with some other adults, but they all stopped when they saw the two teens on the creature back. The Thanator soon glowed towards the group.
y/n " easy there buddy they are not your foes they are clan and family"
Jake " slowly get off both of you we don't wish to upset our guests"
neytiri " neteyam y/n" neytiri made her way toward the two teens soon helping neteyam down passing him to Jake and tsu'tey. Soon enough she had helped you down as well the Thanator soon looked at you.
y/n " thank you my friend I hope to see you again" the Thanator soon bowed once again and took off into the forest leaving everyone shocked, but the group soon took the two teens home and to the healer hut.
mo'at " y/n you have done a good job but it seems like there not that much injury as I thought"
neteyam " grandmother you should of been there y/n said a pray to the great mother and she placed her hands on my injuries, and it soon healed like that"
mo'at " what"
y/n " yes that had happened mo'at and I don't know then the Thanator came and help bring us home"
mo'at " well it seems like you are blessed once again by the great mother my child"
y/n " thank you"
Jake " well we can find out more about this later on right now you both need food and rest, it been a long day for you all"
neteyam and y/n " yes sir"
neytiri " here have some soup it will be good you two have had a good adventure today" The two teens had nodded their head as they were left alone in the healer hut to eat and rest, It had been a interesting day for the both of them but it had brought the pair closer as well. As there was more to come for them when they become older that will be testing them and everyone else as well.

Headcanons for Ma' Yawntu #2
This for my fic I have posted on Ao3. I'll link it below and I'll also link the first one of this. Once again, major spoilers for all the recent chapters 1-20 currently. Anyways, they're finally fucking married so I have a few headcanons about that!
1. Neteyam and Ao’nung had an ongoing joke that Lo’ak and Tsireya would be wed before them because of how well they hid their relationship. It did not come true, to, somewhat, both of their disappointments.
2. Neytiri gained many headaches as she taught her children to dance for the wedding.
“Lo’ak,” Neytiri hisses, “Again! You know where to put your feet.”
“Kiri, not like that.”
“Spider use your body like you know how it works.”
“Neteyam! Do not injure yourself.”
3. Neteyam and Ao’nung would have honestly been just as happy holding a small wedding ceremony. The fact that their families not only accept them but also support them is what they truly are happy about. Like the fact that all of their parents and siblings spent weeks training to do the dances or how much help they all gave in the wedding.
4. Ao’nung likes to give Neteyam nicknames because it annoys him. Like when Spider came back, Ao’nung started coming to him as well for more names.
“Hey *shawty*.” Ao’nung grins at the pure confusion on Neteyam’s face.
“Who is teaching you this?”
5. Neteyam and Ao'nung count their anniversary as their first kiss, not when they actually sat down and talked and offically got together
Ao’nung trails behind Neteyam, their hands tightly locked together. Neteyam pulls Ao’nung along as the two of them walk through the forest. They’re sixteen and fifteen and just snuck out for the night.
“Where are you taking me, Ma’ Yawntu?” Ao’nung asks as they continue walking.
“You will see.”
Neteyam finally stops when they get to a clearing. It’s lit up by the little light from the stars and eclipse. There’s a blanket on the grass and a basket on stop of it. There’s fruit and what looks to be a meal in it.
“What is the occasion?” Ao’nung asks as he stands by Neteyam’s side.
“Our anniversary,” Neteyam says with a smile
“But that’s a month away.”
“No, the anniversary of our first kiss.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Mhm. Because when I kissed you, I knew I didn’t want to kiss anyone else.”
“And you call me the romantic.” Ao’nung leans in and captures Neteyam’s lips with his own.
Ma' Yawntu is on my Ao3 account if you want to read it. I just posted chapter 20!

YOU KNEW when mating with neteyam would mean that he would be busy, a lot. you knew that he would be gone for days at a time, and return home late, and leave early.
you knew the chance for you two to get a minute alone would be difficult, almost impossible. it had been over a month since the two of you had last had an hour together.
you tried to ignore it, the feeling that burnt into your stomach as it seemed everyone had been more important, despite already knowing this was how it was going to be.
you were in your pod, neteyam — surprisingly hadn’t left yet, he was in the corner, finishing some work — before having to leave for work, while you were changing for the day.
as you bend down, you’re suddenly overtaken with dizziness, stumbling back. until ur against the wall, regaining your balance. you open your eyes to look at neteyam, his eyes never teared from his work, it made you frown, but shake it off.
you tried to ignore the headache, the feeling over your body— it was like it was on fire. “tey” you mutter, that gets his attention, he had missed you and was trying to finish this as soon as possible so he could spend time with you before you both had to leave.
“ma y/n” he said, smiling softly. you give him a half hearted smile back, before reaching down to grab a bag you had weaved, “i am leaving.” you say, wanting to go to the hut as soon as possible, it had gotten to the point, being around neteyam when his focused seemed to be on anything else, had caused an ache in your heart.
his smile dropped, furrowing his eyebrows. “it is still early” he said, he was almost done, cursing himself for not working faster. you just nod, placing a jar of herbs in your bag. “i have no reason to stay, may as well start early” you mutter, not meaning for it to come across as harsh as it did.
“actually i was hoping- don’t worry, its okay, have a good day yawne” he said, standing up, figuring if you wanted to stay you would. he walked towards you, hoping to maybe get a quick kiss before you left, but you slipped past him.
“bye tey, see you later” you said, his heart twisted, was this what it had been like for you.
the real reason you had left early was because you wanted mo’at to check you, walking into the healing pod you were overfilled with the sense of nausea.
“my child, it is early.” mo’at said, eying you carefully, “you are sick?” she asked, you just shrugged, stumbling over to a seat, you felt as if, if you didn’t sit, you were going to pass out.
“tell me what you are feeling” mo’at said, as she poked your arms with something. you hummed, thinking carefully before answering. “not hungry, the smell of food makes me feel sick, i have been getting horrible headaches, and i feel dizzy a lot.” you say, softly.
“are you eating?” she said, you shook your head, “i can’t, everything i eat i vomit up”
she ran a few more ‘test’ like things, but in the end she was slightly confused herself. “i am not to sure, but it should only last a week at most, but it is dangerous, you are overworked, you must take the rest of the week off, and im afraid, neteyam will as well” she says, leaving you confused.
“neteyam? why” you ask, tilting your head.
“you’re weak. you cannot leave resting. i am worried that if you do to much it will get worse. neteyam must take care of you, if he cannot, which he can, but if worst comes to worst, you stay with me, i care for you” she said, despite knowing neteyam would take a million days off for you.
“okay” you nod, “now go home and get rest, do you need assistance getting back?” she asked, you just shake your head, just silently hoping neteyam had left.
much to your dismay, as you pull the opening back you find neteyam sitting, but also jake and neytiri sitting at the table as well. they look up as you enter.
“oh! y/n, neteyam said you had left early for work.” jake said, you felt sick all over again, “uh yeah, i just forgot some stuff.” you lie, i mean there was things you could grab, but you hadn’t actually forgotten anything.
but there was no way you could ask neteyam to take a few days off to look after you with his parents here. “its good to see you sweetie, it has been a while” neytiri says, walking up to you to brush your hair behind your shoulders, you smile.
as she examines you, she furrows her eyebrows, “are you sick, child?” she asked, neteyam’s ears perk, looking over. “not at all, i feel great!” you smile, “just very busy, a little stressful” you laugh softly, moving away to collect a few jars.
neteyam’s mind seems to ease at your words, going back to the work with his father. “does y/n know?” jake asks, neteyam furrows his eyebrows before his eyes widen.
“know what?” you ask, turning to the two men. “i was going to tell you tonight! we are arranging a trip, a hunting trip,- my dad want’s me to lead it” you knew this was a big opportunity for him, you smile. “that’s great tey!! im so happy for you” you say softly.
“we are planning on leaving tomorrow” jake says, ur smile drops a little, before returning, but neytiri catches on. “that is great, very soon”
neteyam can’t help but frown at how excited you are, he was too- he was over the moon. but he wanted to spend time with you, “how long will it be?” you were thinking a one night, one day thing.
“a week!” jake said, patting his son’s shoulders with pride, neteyam smiles up at him, “oh” you mutter, furrowing your eyebrows, before just smiling, “that is great.” you say, feeling a little betrayed that neteyam hadn’t talked to you about this, yes he was out during the days but he returned to you everynight, that wasn’t even the problem.
its the fact it was tomorrow, for a week. and he was planning to tell you tonight when whatever you reaction was it didn’t really matter, it was already set.
“we must get to work,” jake said, patting neteyam’s arms once more, neytiri sighed, as the two boys got up, jake walked over to place a soft kiss on neytiri’s lips, before walking out.
neteyam looked between you and his mother, no matter how long it had been, it was still so weird to do anything like that in front of his mom, she knew it as well.
she sighed, following jake outside to leave you and neteyam for a minute. you were fighting tears because of the pain in your head, but either way you just smiled at him.
“im sorry, it all happened really fast” neteyam said, grabbing onto your hand, you just shake your head. “its fine, tey. i get it. i am really happy for you, this is amazing”
“will you be okay? i told dad that when we get back, i want to spend more time with you. its just a week, then i promise-”
“tey it is fine, have fun, you deserve this”
neteyam left the next morning, you were awake, sitting up in bed, in the early morning, “i made you breakfast when you are ready” neteyam said, you were confused as to why he had been so affectionate the last day or two, after being so busy for a month straight, was it because he was leaving for a week.
“thank you tey” you mutter, pulling the weaved blankets higher onto you, neteyam didn’t get home until very late last night, you weren’t awake when he got home. he looked outside, to see the time.
“i have to go, yawne. you sure you’re going to be alright?” he asked, you just laugh. “when have i ever not been okay on my own” you say, laughing softly, he smiled.
“love you” he said, leaning down to place a soft kiss on your lips, he pulled away quickly. “you are hot darling”
“thank you i try” you tease playfully, despite the nausea coming back to you as the scent of neteyam’s cooking fill your senses, it was nothing against his cooking, he made great food, it was just food in general.
he smiled at your comment before shaking his head. “im going, ma’ y/n” he said and just like that he was gone.
three days had passed since neteyam left, you had seemed to only have been getting worse, your body was on fire, the headaches the came were so bad to the point you were crying, covering your eyes because the tinest bit of light irritated you.
everytime you stood up you felt unbalanced, you tried to eat the breakfast neteyam made you on the day he left, but it ended with you vomiting it up. you constantly felt dizzy and weak. unable to do anything.
you tried to sick to your normal daily routine with the minus of work, you hadn’t mentioned to neteyam you were sick, or anything about what mo’at had said, and you had mentioned to mo’at that neteyam was unable to care for you.
well he was able, you just didn’t ask. you hated asking for help, thats why you stayed in your hut.
but you were getting worse and worse.
it lasted another two days, the day neteyam returned had to have been the worse out of them all. as soon as you stood up, you were down, passed out.
neytiri had been helping in the healers tent due to mo’ats request. “it has been so busy without y/n” she said, which had confused neytiri.
“y/n hasn’t been working?” she asked, eyebrows furrowed.
“you do not know? y/n is sick, horribly sick. i do not know what is the matter, but i worry. neteyam is looking after her” mo’at said, neytiri’s eyes widened.
“neteyam is on a hunting trip, he has been all week” she said, mo’at turned. “please check the girl” she asked, neytiri nodded, it was so in your nature to not ask for help, she saw the way your face dropped , how hot you felt.
she rushed to your shared hut with neteyam, she noticed the hunting party return, neteyam was laughing along with his dad, any other day she would’ve taken the time to appreciate the moment, but she rushed into your home.
she gasped as she saw you, passed out on the ground, she also noticed the face your shoulders was bleeding, she looked at the bed frame neteyam had build, your blood stained on it, she figured you hit that on your way down.
despite that she leant down, picking your body up, she rushed to carry you back to mo’at, unfortunately, neytiri had caught jakes attention.
then she caught neteyam’s, and within a minute, both boys were at her side, neteyam’s eyes wide as he took your body from her, asking what had happened, jake was just as confused.
“she has been sick neteyam! apparently she was supposed to ask you to take the week off to look after her-mo’ats request but she never did!” neytiri said, as they rushed to mo’ats pod.
“stupid child” were mo’ats words as she saw your body, you were pale, bleeding, you looked sick.
neteyam was worried sick, how hadn’t he noticed, why didn’t you tell him? did you think he would say no? had he made you feel like that?
“what is the matter with her? is she okay?” he asked, placing you down softly. mo’at scowled at him, “you did not notice your mate ill!!” she slapped his hand away from you, despite knowing he was busy and you hadn’t told him.
“i know- i know, i am sorry. i am here now/ what is the matter?” he asked, full of guilt and responsibility, wanting nothing more than to care for you like he shouldve from the beginning.
“i think she has a cold, but she has been overworking herself, that is the reason for her passing out. she needs to be cared for.” she said? coming up with a summary,
hill
“take her home, you are both to have time off until she is completely healed and healthy and has been approved by me, do you understand me?” mo’at said sternly, eyes falling over the three sullies in the room, eyes stern on jake, telling him there eas nothing he could argue, neteyam would be staying home.
“take her home, wait for her to wake” she said, before passing him a jar, “put this on her chest if she isn’t awake within half an hour” his grandmother scolded, still in shock that he hadn’t noticed his mate was sick.
neteyam did as he was told, carrying you bridal style back to your hut, placing you on the bed, he took time to admire you. you were thin, sickly thin, your eyes were covered by dark circles, your skin was burning hot.
thankfully, before the half an hour was up, you had awoken, although in that time it took for you to awake, neteyam was in his own head, pacing the hut.
how had he missed that? how did he miss that his mate was ill, so ill to the point you had passed out.
why didn’t you tell him — he wondered. had he been so distant and busy that you no longer felt comfortable coming to him? were you worried he would not take time off to care for you, it made him feel sick to his stomach.
although you being sick wasn’t his fault — the fact it had gotten so bad, was.
when you woke, neteyam was preparing a cup of water. you however, did not remember passing out, in your mind, you assumed you had taken a nap, hence why you were in bed. although there was a stinging pain in your shoulder, one you did not remember having, was this another part of the sickness.
you hadn’t even noticed your mate in the hut when you woke up, you shuffled in the bed, getting ready to stand up, however when you did you were overwhelmed with a wooziness.
“ma y/n” neteyam cursed as he turned around, placing the cup down on the table, he rushed over to you, helping to balance you out. “you mustn’t leave bed” he scolded.
you furrowed your eyebrows, when did he get back?
and why was he worrying so much, last time you checked he had no idea you were sick.
you discard his scold, despite staying in bed, maybe he was just tired snd wanted to cuddle. however you felt a tingle in your stomach, not a good one either.
you ignore it, you were good at that. “how was the trip tey” you ask as he settled next to you on the bed, you had missed his company, even if sometimes it felt like it didn’t exist.
he scowled at your, why were you acting like nothing was wrong. “it was fine, y/n” he said sternly, you frowned, why was he upset.
“what is wrong?” you ask, the look his was giving you made your chest ache, did you do something? was he upset you didn’t greet him when he returned — that must be it
“im sorry i didn’t greet you, i must’ve fallen asleep, i am so sorry tey, id love to hear all about your trip” you say, despite everything in you telling you to shut up, talking was so much effort.
he frowned even more, “i am not upset about that y/n” you frowned now, the pair of you a mix of frowning messes.
“what did i go then, nete” he wanted to cry at how pained your voice sounded, your face was pale and your eyes drained from colour, not holding the usual lint of happiness like normal.
“you didn’t tell me” he said, his voice hardly above a whisper, you tilted your head in confusion. “what? what didn’t i tell you?” you ask, mind fuzzy.
he sighed, shaking his head. his hands found yours softly, pulling you closer to him, despite the way your skin was burning his, he didn’t care.
“that you were sick y/n, you didn’t tell me” he said, you furrow your eyebrows before your eyes widen, before returning to their normal size, you felt like you could sleep for a whole week, your head felt heavy, your stomach felt tight, everything hurt.
despite that, you shrug, “it isn’t bad nete, i am okay” you nod, voice convincing, but its really not. neteyam knows you better then that, but even he is second guessing that — why didn’t he fucking know, you shouldn’t of had to tell him, he is your mate he should just know.
“why do you lie” he asks, eyes squinted as his eyebrows furrow in a mix of annoyance and confusion. you squint at him, “i am okay neteyam.” you say.
he grows frustrated. “you are not okay, y/n. if you were okay i would not have returned to you being passed out in my mothers arms because you have been sick.” he said.
you tilt your head in confusion, you had passed out once a few days ago, was that what he had been talking about? did he have to come home early.
“oh nete— im sorry i didn’t mean to ruin your trip!!” you say, eyes filling with heavy guilt, he shook his head. “you didn’t. i came home today to my mother carrying you to grandmother, because you had passed out”
a simple oh leaves your mouth, as even more guilt seeps in, he seems to notice your expression. he grips your hands tighter. “you did not tell me you were sick” he said.
you went to talk but he cut you off “you also didn’t tell me you were bed rested” he said, you frown at his words, already knowing what was coming next.
“you didn’t tell me i was supposed to take days off to care for you”
you just chew your lip nervously, he shakes his head as he looks at you, while you look anywhere but at him.
“why didn’t you tell me” his voice cracks mid sentence, it makes your heart clench in your chest, its hard to remember the last week, all you can really remember is vomiting multiple times, and crying about the headache.
“you were excited about your trip, this is a big deal for you, i just didn’t wanna ruin it” your voice is small, you words are soft, as they leave your lips.
“you already do so much, i didn’t want to be the one to take something fun away from you.. or put more on you” you admit, his heart breaks.
it takes everything in him not to curse at himself, for making you feel as if you couldn’t tell him.
he failed, “fuck” he curses under his breath. “my girl” he says, looking at your face as you look down at your hands.
he has to remove his hand from yours, grabbing your chin to force you to look at him.
“angel, you are my number one priority, every fucking day. everything i do is for you. i know — i have obviously done a shitty job of showing that, but you should’ve told me, i could’ve helped you, now youre ten times worse” he says, tears fill your tired eyes.
“im sorry tey” you say as a hot tear rolls down your cheek. he immediately shakes his head.
“no, youre not allowed to be sorry, ma y/n. i shouldve known, i am your mate and i didn’t know you were ill, i left you here alone sick”
“i shouldve told you”
he nods, “you should’ve.”
you look down, his hand moves from your chin to your jaw. holding your face in his hand. “but i an here now, no matter what”

Ceiling
Sorry for the late post today, i had an off day if you know what i mean.
Jake and Neytiri came home after something that felt like hours! Jake had to do clan leader things, like organising the next hunting or preparing ceremonies, a lot of ceremonies.
Neytiri had to assist a woman in birth and to prepare the choir for the ceremonies, a lot of ceremonies.
They reunited only outside their Marui, their children laughing could be heard from outside, they gave eachother an exhausted look before getting hand in hand and coming in their home, both prepare from the things that were obviously about to happened, because Eywa only could know how their children seemed to drink coffee and eat candies instead of water and vegetables, a lot of coffee and candies.
As they enter they found their 3 older children gather together on the middle of the marui giggling and whispering to eachother, meanwhile Tuk their youngest was peacefully sleeping in her spot.
"What up with you?" Jake asks meanwhile Neytiri go to check on Tuk to see if she was hungry, after all she was just a few months old.
The olders kids stopped their giggles and slowly faced him.
"Nothing" Lo'ak respons, he was rocking himself standing, his arms behind his back and he looked like he was about to to whistle, which was comically to Jake and in any other circumstance he would be on the floor laughing, but that was Lo'ak, something definitely was on.
Now that he looked around, Spider, his kids friends wasn't there, and it was only mid afternoon so why did he go away early? Jake could brush it off, but his six sense the one he devolved thanks to his children telled him that something was definitely off.
"Where is Spider?" He found himself asking.
Kiri becomes to giggle followed by Neteyam and Lo'ak.
Now that was concerning, a sound came from above Jake, when he looked up he saw the blonde human kid who was clinging on the ceiling with his hands and feat, he looked terrified.
"What are you doing up there?" Neytiri asked to Spider, she was now next to Jake and Tuk was in her arms, eating from her breast.
"We were trying to see if he could climb like us!" Neteyam responded on Spider behalf.
Neytiri and Jake exchanged looks at eachother, both too much tired for this but if not them who would have deal with it?
Jake sighed and putted two fingers at the verge of his eyes, shaking his head gently "Guys he can't, he is not like you, he is different" Jake explained and looked back at Spider who have strange look on his face, but Jake could quite make it since the light of Alpha Centauri was reflecting on the oxygen mask.
"Are you okay?" Neytiri asks Spider and the human child said no with his head. "Ms Sully i stopped being okay thirty minutes ago"
"How long have you been up there?" Jake now is asking, "an hour maybe" Kiri responds for Spider.
"Can I please be put down now? I think I'm gonna throw up" Spider said.
Jake nodded and lifted his arms to pick up the child, who was easy since the little one practically dropped himself when the arms were placed under him.
As Jake catched the boy and toke him in his arms he could help but notice that keeping the kid in his arms seemed right, even tho he didn't understand why, he just felt that it was right.
Spider was in Jake arms for maybe five seconds? Then he wanted to get put on the floor.
Why so soon? Stay in my arms a little more, i can protect you this way.
But Jake didn't listen to his thoughts, he putted the child down, and Spider felled on his butt since he didn't use his legs for long.
Been there
Neytiri bend over to him, in her arms some calming oils and Tuk who was kicking her little legs, seemed like she wanted to make her Mother drop the oils but Neytiri could easily handle Tuk and her kicking, after all, Lo'ak was her son.
She started to put the oils in Spider skin, meanwhile Jake was explaining to the other kids why they were skxawng.
The oils she was putting on him, should have let the headache he probably had and all his malaise disappear.
As she put the ointments she could not notice the feeling of right she was having by helping the human out, it felt right to do so, like it was natural.
What is this feeling? He is a sky person, why I'm having this tipy of feelings for him? They are no different from the ones i feel for Tuk, or Lo'ak or Neteyam or Kiri. Why I'm feeling this way over him? Why do i feel the need to protect him? To kiss all his bruises? Why does him have this many bruises?
When she finished she discovered the child was now asleep.
"Jake he is sleeping" She whispered to her mate
"Is late, maybe is better if he stays with us only for tonight, what do you think?" He asked her, his mounth was saying something, but his eyes were saying another thing.
"Yes, is better if he stays with us only for tonight"
