Doki Doki Plus is genuinely such a nice and sweet extension of the main game the fact that people were so dismissive of it solely due to it not being horror based like the main one makes my heart ache so much. This is genuinely one of the best character explorations I've ever seen in my life, written so wonderfully and realistically to the point where it's almost frightening and so emotional, it makes me so sad that people are so harsh on it

It delves so much into themes of friendship, humanity and people etc. Every time I play it it shifts my perspective on life and other people to a more positive one. It's literally like therapy to me. It's so sweet and has legitimately valuable lessons to be learned... I will always defend it man. I recommend that everyone tries it out if you particularly cared about the characters in the main game and not just the horror elements because it fleshes them out so much. They're so real and relatable. It's so delightful. I like it so much

I love how the game seems to take inspiration from those simplified cell drawings with bright colors and exaggerated shapes.

I love how the devs seem to have used microscopic images as a reference to make their alien world feel more alien.

I love the way the myelin sheathing is on the cables because it makes electric signals travel at a faster speed in real life... Those designs work and don't feel limited by what they took inspiration from.

No but @korruptbrekker reached out to me and asked if I was interested in doing a collab (go check out their piece here, I implore you), and you know I could not say no to such a wonderful artist asking lil ol me to do something fun like this. We ended up doing a swap @laugaheim and I came up with ages ago that I so sussinctly refer to as a moodboard-sketch-lineart-render swap. Rolls right off the tongue, right? Nah but it's exactly what it says. Make moodboards, swap and sketch from the other's, swap again and line the other's sketch, and then swap once again and finish the piece you sketched.

Very big thanks to Brekker for reaching out! This was so fun, I hope we can do something together again in the future!

I was listening to Thunder Bringer and was really struck by the line "if I were to make you choose, the lives of your men and crew or your own, why do I think they'd lose?" and I was like wow that's like the exact opposite of my boy Ryou so I thought of making an oc that's the exact opposite of him. Ryou is a party leader who declined joining the Dandelions to stay with his friends, meanwhile Misty instantly leaves her party to join the Dandelions without caring what happens to them. She's the type of party leader to kick you if you don't meet lux quota lmfao it's all about rankings, lux and power to her.

I've always liked the idea of "light that corrupts" due to the circumstances that lead to the keyblade war and that is definitely Misty-- she wants all the lux for the sake of light and all that nonsense LMAO which is the kind of person Ryou also hates since he doesn't align himself with light or darkness. Misty's keyblade being missing ache also says some stuff about her too since it's a proud mode keyblade showing her wanting strength and it's reversed showing how she's not that great of a person and has darkness in her like anyone else. Also it's speed based and she's definitely small so it's good for her LOL I really like keyblade meta okay, anyway here is my terrible daughter I hope everyone enjoys her

It is so eternally funny to me that the Fatui have acquired every single gnosis peacefully... except for Venti.

Zhongli had his contract, Yae Miko traded Ei's, Nahida also traded hers and Ei's, and Neuvilette just gave that shit away. Like we're introduced to them as stealing all the Gnoses and then they drop that shit immediately.

Even worse, they steal it from Venti. Fucking Venti. Mr Had a 500 Year Nap. Mr Tells His City To Be Free and Fucks Off. Mr Steals Wine For Himself. That dude. That's the one it was necessary to dropkick.

Like Signora could have sauntered up with an apple in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other and Venti would have given up his gnosis faster than you can say 'Freedom'.

And even if we go with the theory that Venti knows much more than he let's on, he would've have probably given it away anyway considering what we know now about the third Descender and all.
