7. Winter is going to get so singularly minded she forgets things, has definitely been too focused on a tablet and has went to put coffee down but just dropped it on the floor. Cinder has for sure scoffed and snarked about it, but she will also just bash her shoulder into a door frame because of her eye.

29. Literally they retrofitted a Hunt during the war into "I guess that was our first outing/date, huh?"

38. I can't see either of them ever wanting kids, they are too self aware and know they're (in their own opinion) horrible role models, but if they did have kids it is very much anxious stiffness. They are both commanding and heavy handed but it is a place from not wanting the kid(s) to turn into them, I cannot see Cinder letting anyone she considers hers to be a Huntsmen, Winter similarly just wants her kin to be safe; Weiss was the exception I suppose. Pets though, Cinder needs a cat who will just handle itself because her ass is not dealing well with herself anyway. Winter in comparison, idk why, but I can see her having some huge fat white cat that she just spoils to nausea because that is her best soldier boy.

29. The whole Nathema arc. Aside from Lana of course, Theron and Jed were as close as can be. It’d been years since they’d been a thing by that point. And losing him was a pain like no other. Jed put on a face about it, he’d say he knew Theron was going to come back. But deep down he wasn’t even sure that was true. He’s lost everything before, of course it would happen again.

They don’t sleep in the same bed for like three months after. Not because they don’t want to, but because of Jed’s own fear.

30. I have so many! Jed and Theron both taking time to recalibrate each others cybernetics — because they’re the best at helping each other. Theron kisses Jed’s knuckles every time they say goodbye. Jed being taller than Theron and picking his ass up to carry him to bed when he’s being too much of a workaholic. SHARING CLOTHES. Holding each other at night when the nightmares get to be too much. When Theron starts to get his grays, teasingly calling him a “Silver Fox” and using that as a codename.

JUNTER 💚🧡

29. Literally everything about them. The fact they’re rabidly obsessed with one another to the point of delusion. That secretly they both wish they could leave behind their respective organizations but they’ll never actually act upon that. They’ll nearly kill each other and then make out sloppy afterwards. But they’ll never address it. Everything regarding Onomonophobia. At this point in Jed’s life he isn’t built for stability, and Hunter is anything but reliable. They’re both crashing into each other, destroying themselves from the inside out and it’s horrifying and beautiful to watch.

30. While posing as Legate, they’d spar a lot. It was always hate fueled from Jed’s perspective whereas Hunter thought it was a ball. But afterwards, they’d quietly slump side by side and sit in silence. They could just get up and storm away. But when neither of them are talking (and boy that’s a rarity) there’s something oddly familiar about it all. They’ll even help each other up, before going back to their terrible ways.

8. What happens if one of them gets sick?

Rory tends to want to just keep chugging along, she’ll drink more tea with honey and lemon, but she doesn’t like to stop. John, of course, if having none of that as the mother hen. That man is forcing her to sit down, wrap up in a blanket, and take some meds. She will grumble about it, but also she can’t deny it is very cute having Price hovering over her with his arms crossed like her own personal bodyguard. If Price gets sick, it tends to hit him in the chest, he will be coughing up a lung and Rory is dragging out the vaporizer and Vicks rub. She makes his tea and will give him massages to ease the muscle aches. She will, of course, also tease him about how nasally his voice is. 

22. What reminds each of their partner?

There are several things that remind Rory of John: Bears, the ocean reminds her of John’s eyes – whether placid or stormy. Also anything LFC makes her think of John, red will never be the same. Then of course there are the cigars, that’s a hard one to ignore. For John, he’s reminded of Rory by: the scent of Earl Grey tea, lambs (obviously), pink roses, and warm shades of green that remind him of her eyes.

11. Do either try to hide their emotions if upset? Can the other still tell?

I think Sirius does, he hates crying and has a history of being told 'men don't cry' so he bottles it up pretty bad until he gets angry. I imagine him with a big temper when he's really mad and he mostly gets mad at himself, never at Remus, so he just sits there in a big ball of emotions and Remus just gives him his space, but kneels in front of him and says that its okay to cry in front of him. Sirius usually ends up breaking

19. How do they feel about PDA?

Oooo, Remus for sure is a lot shyer about it. He loves holding hands and cuddling, wrapping an arm around each other, but he blushes when they kiss in front of friends and family and even in a club he's nervous to kiss Sirius for too long, or grab him too much, but get a couple drinks in him and he stops caring altogether lmao. Sirius loves showing off his man, especially if people flirt with him, he just slips his hand into Remus' and leans against him like 'hi baby, I missed you'

30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other's outfits; what is each wearing?

Remus picks Sirius: one of his old band/graphic shirts shirts that's a little too big for him so he can tuck it into ripped skinny jeans, his chunky docs, a bandana to put in his back pocket, a lot of silver jewellery, a hoodie/jacket of some kind that's also Remus' and moon earrings (also a hair tie to have on his wrist when his hair gets annoying)

Sirius picks Remus: he loves remus in a hoodie, he isn't sure why but he thinks he looks super sexy so a hoodie that's oversized, probably some skinny jeans as well or at least ones that are a little baggy around your feet, his old converse with the star charms on the laces, some gold rings (sirius likes staring at his hands), and probably a bag he uses all the time because sirius brings so many things and never has enough pockets (he also picks out the silver necklace with S on it)

10. Describe their first date.

I think that Wu would try go all out on their first date (I'm literally imagining a scenario very similar to Kurosawa and Adachi's first date for those who are familiar with any adaptation of Cherry Magic lol). He'd probably try to make everything perfect - they'd spend the day shopping for expensive outfits, fly over Republic City on a sky bison/blimp, then go to the fanciest restaurant in town.

Of course, Mako would end up having a shitty time, and afterwards they'd have a talk about how neither of them had much fun - Mako because all of the rich people stuff felt superficial to him, and Wu because he was so focused on everything being perfect that he didn't take the time to truly pay attention to Mako and notice he was feeling uncomfortable. Wu would apologize, and then Mako would take him to a cheap hole-in-the-wall place that he likes (, and they'd do the things Mako likes to do, which are much more low-key (which Wu has never really experienced). From that point forward, they would make an agreement to try and do things they both like to do on future dates.

15. Do they always say "I love you" before leaving?

Wu almost always says it first, but sometimes Mako gets to it before him. This of course makes Wu very happy. Mako of course always says it back when Wu says it first :)

25. Do they have any hobbies they share?

I think that, at first, it would seem like there's not really any interests that they both have in common, but eventually they would slowly start introducing the other to things they like and end up both getting really into them.

For Mako, I'd imagine his thing is watching probending - Wu wouldn't be interested at first, but he'd make an effort to start learning more about it, and eventually become just as big of a fan as Mako (and probably start buying a bunch of merch for his favorite team lol).

For Wu, I imagine him as being a huge theatre kid, so he'd probably start dragging Mako to musicals and operas, and eventually Mako would begin to appreciate them and even look forward to them too.

Also, I don't know if drag shows exist in the world of Avatar, but I headcanon that they do and I 100% believe that Wu would be super into them, either just going to them or being in them. I would LOVEEE to write a fic someday about Wu convincing Mako to let him dress him up in drag lol. Maybe the rest of the Krew could join in on it too.

Jan, but a tiny bit and more as a joke.

Jan always yaps about Nace’s sense of humor. He can’t stop mentioning how a simple joke can make his days better. Also he can’t shut up about how he’s so kind and protective of people he loves the most. He appreciates Nace’s big heart and willingness to help people and animals in need. He appreciates Nace’s attentiveness when he talks about his other hobbies, what he read about maths and so on. Appearance wise, he just loves being in Nace’s strong and tattooed arms, wanting it to be his place forever. And stuck his fingers into dimples!

Nace can’t stop mentioning Jan’s passion to his hobbies and how he gives his heart into playing guitar. He always mentions Jan’s sense of humor, being slightly different but making him laugh out loud (And oh god, they both love hearing each other’s laugh!). He can’t stop listening to Jan talking about maths and his other interests. He notices how is Jan focused every time he talks about Pokémon or animals. Appearance wise, he loves Jan’s head. Petting his long hair, leaving forehead kisses (especially on the birthmark!), scratching just above his nape… everything to see Jan drifting apart, smiling peacefully.

Yea but it depends - diminutives of their names in public and pet names in private. Nace loves calling Jan a kitten or a sunshine. Jan sometimes calls Nace a baby bear.

Dream doesn't technically need to consume food, and while he may have the knowledge of the collective unconsciousness of all living things on his side, he cannot, I repeat, cannot cook. Hob, on the other hand, makes a full English breakfast that would (and has) made grown men weep, and can manage a very decent curry.

12. Who prefers calling to texting (& vice versa)? Bonus: Who is so bad at texting it made the other think they weren't interested when they first started hanging out? [This could be hypothetical as much as real].

Dream prefers texting because it gives him more time to collect his very frenetic thoughts. Hob prefers the phone because he loves nothing more in life than hearing Dream's voice. (It should also be noted that Dream is an abysmal texter. He'll send shit like, "Hob. All is lost." and then not respond for days. When he finally resurfaces to explain what happened it's, like, he had a bad hair day or he misplaced a pen or some shit.)

Listen, I know what you're thinking, but Hob was all about Oppenheimer because he loves to pick apart historical films. Dream wanted to see Barbie because he thought it would make good dream fodder. He did NOT wear pink to the cinema. They both ended up preferring Barbie, and now everywhere they go, Hob tells people, "He's everything. I'm just Hob."

One word, Apollo. Let's rub a bit Orpheus in that festering wound of brotherly rivalry shall we? 😅 I've already gone into the hows and whys here. So I won't repeat it.

But yes, the God of the Arts (and all round perfectness) is definitely the main hiccup in that extravagant, unbridled but at its core, harmonious love of theirs. 

If love is Orpheus’s life blood, then music is the heartbeat that pumps it. And no matter how much he loves Dionysus, adores him beyond all reason… I think he'd be just a touch too obstinate to give up the patronage of Apollo/ devotion to the God of his craft. Not the wisest of moves when it traps you in a tug of war between two notoriously antagonist brothers. Chaos vs Order/ Madness vs Reason. Thoughts and prayers Orpheus. And obviously this is going to play on Dionysus' natural insecurities about his worth amongst the Olympians. Especially when he's up against the glorious and golden Apollo for Orpheus’s n.1 god spot. 

Generally, I feel this would be more a cause of petty squabbles between Apollo and Dionysus, with Orpheus caught in the middle, then arguments between Orpheus and Dionysus. Orpheus was brought up in a polytheistic religion. His worship of Apollo (calling) and his worship of Dionysus (love) are two very different things and expected. Still, the gods are petty. And we can't deny Dionysus a few tantrums over having to share his favourite. Especially when it's the first time he's had love all his own. 

8. Nicknames? And if so, how did they originate?

I think with this couple, it's going to be casual and cute abridged names. Or odes of sweet nothings. As both have the tendency to go from 0 to 100 in minutes. 😅 

Day to day, I think you yourself came up with Orphe…(And just, the cuteness of Orphe! 🥹) Phe, Dio, D. Little nicknames used by themselves alone in that way loving partners often do. 

Deep in their truest hearts, Orpheus is Dionysus’s ‘Reason’ and Dionysus is Orpheus’s, well… If Riddy was his ‘Muse and Saviour’...Then Dionysus is his ‘Idol and Liberator.’ It's actually one of Dionysos’s ephipets, Eleutherius or Liber in latin meaning liberator/freedom. He who frees man from himself and deliverer of man from care and sorrow. It's an obvious nod to the effects of wine, but I think it's exactly what he is for Orpheus, especially following the events of season one. His liberator from sorrow. 

 17. Who says I love you first? 

Oh Orpheus. Most definitely Orpheus. The moment that man realises he is in love, I don't believe he has the capacity to keep that within himself. He's not a shy, self doubting person, this isn't a secret he's going to hoard. He's going to declare it on the spot like a vow. He's going to look Dionysus right in the eye and state with fervour, ‘I love you.’ Not a question, nor a request. But a declaration of devotion. I. Love. You. No matter whether the feeling is returned, know I love you. I think at Orpheus’s MOST subtle, he'd pour his emotions into song after song. Until someone literally has to point out to Dionysus, ‘He's singing about you. You know that, right?’ 😅 But I truly don't think Orpheus would be able to hold it in long enough to be a tormented artist. He'd NEED Dionysus to know. Him blurting it out in a moment of realisation at an awards ceremony would be more likely. Tell the person, tell the world is so on brand for Orpheus. 

On a more sombre note, I think Dionysus would be a little reticent about outwardly declaring his love for anyone after Dennis. Lest it act like a lightning rod for Zeus's ire. 😢

19: What do they fight about most often? (Alternative: what was their biggest fight?)

Have you ever seen Ever After? I think often of the moment where they're talking about a fish loving a bird, and she asks, but where will they live? When they're first talking about having a serious relationship (because even though Usagi would be okay with winging it, Raph is NOT), that question comes up early and frequently. I kind of alluded to it in my fic You Are (Not) the Father; how the permanent portal is very important to them because it kind of fixes this issue. But at first they argue about it a lot. That said, their version of "fighting" is just kind of...arguing. Until one of them boils over and just walks away, because they both have anger issues and they're both really really scared of messing this up. Later in life I imagine they're very good at fighting and yelling at each other and laughing at it afterward, but they're very careful at the beginning!!

22. Love languages? How do they get around differences, if any?

hehehe so Raph, as I write him with Usagi, is asexual and gray-romantic. Usagi is allo-everything. Raph's love languages are quality time and closeness, he's quite fond of the parallel play model of "let's sit together and do totally different quiet activities". Usagi loves long, playful makeouts, he loves having his fur petted (only in private) and talking for hours on end. Neither of them are huge on gift-giving/receiving, but both are very responsive to acts of service.

Raph sometimes gets really overwhelmed!!! Sometimes he doesn't want to be touched, and Usagi has to learn that boundary the hard way. And sometimes if Usagi goes too long without getting pets and kissies, he gets very pouty. They communicate a LOT to make up for these differences.

34. How do they cheer the other one up during sad times?

I was just thinking abt this today actually..... Their biggest "sad times" test is when Splinter gets sick and eventually dies. Raph is such a daddy's boy, and he has a very very hard time accepting that he can't save him. Splinter dies more or less of old age and it's very peaceful, surrounded by family, but it GUTS Raph. He reverts back to bad habits he hasn't had since he was a teenager, going out to pick fights and get bloody, spending a lot of time alone. Even Usagi (who is his husband at this point) can't really knock any sense into him. It's a very slow process of "I'm here for you" essentially, and that's how they always do their sad times. Mourning is inevitable, but it doesn't have to be done alone. However, both of them are rash and prone to lashing out when they're in pain...so patience is key.
