I think, every character what we love is personalized. I mean, we always giving them headcanons. Scenarios, where are they different than in canon..

I mean, all my headcanon to some characters are too soft or friendly. Or sometimes are angst..

My headcanons on Dark Cacao:

He likes eating the grapes.

He can draw like professional artist.

He always be sentimental and be nice for ppl, who loves the most.

I see many ppl, who is saying he is not really good guy. My friend is saying it too.

But I think, that's because of how are they see him. They're seeing him more different than we are. I love Dark Cacao so much and make all this AU and all my draws. But when I think about it..

Isn't he really bad guy? I mean.. He banished many ppl without mercy or mercy, because he said in the one cutscene, he's no needed to give Dark Choco any mercy..

I watched the episode of House of Mouse where its the Christmas special and Pete's in and that got me thinking-

I cannot remember if you've already made a post regarding Christmas at the HoM, so consider this in September:

Since it's implied Christmas doesn't exist in TW, let's say Yuu starts making gingerbread cookies out of habit. And after that, she is halfway through the pudding when she realises that Christmas, in fact, has never been brought up before amongst her friends.

A quick check later and she leaves the pudding to set while wondering where she's going to find the occasion to give her friends holiday treats.

So sometime before Christmas she brings the cookies and pudding over to the HoM after wrapping them up fancy for her work family-

Only for Pluto to flaunt his special sugar-free gingerbread biscuits in full view of the villains' table.

And then Maleficent calls Yuu over to ask where did Pluto get such cute cookies with pine trees piped all over them-

Yuu, most likely: 'I made them myself for Christmas :). But Christmas doesn't exist in TW, so I couldn't think up a special occasion to give my friends Christmas treats :(. Especially considering all the effort that went into the cookies :( Jamil wouldn't call that cost-effective :(

Jafar is internally cursing out his protege, while Maleficent and the Queen of Hearts immediately start trying to convince her to make their twisted versions cookies :) and only their versions :) no, shove off mal, she's going to make dear riddle cookies that don't break any rules whatsover :) not your grandson :) sod off you hag :)

Wow, I am loving these House of Mouse!AU asks. Life has been crazy these past few months so coming back to Tumblr to see that people are still interested in this really makes me smile 🥰

I remember writing something about that special last year that was kind of similar to what you said - I love the fan trope where our/Yuu's world's holidays/traditions don't exist in twst. The angst and fluff potential is just so good (I remember there was this one episode of Winx Club where the fairies try to cheer Bloom up by having a christmas party but they misunderstand everything and Stella interprets 'christmas cheer' as 'a christmas cheer' like the type cheerleaders do and I feel like that's the kind of endearing shenanigans you'd get in NRC)

I think that's what makes the House of Mouse so neat - it's kind of like a best of both worlds situation where there is a mix of both fantastical Disney magic and parts of our world (so Yuu can feel more at home, in a way)

Okay but back when I was in another fandom, I wrote a christmas themed drabble where a character made personalised gingerbread people for his entire class where he decorated each biscuit to look like them and I think that's definitely something Yuu would do (as well as the usual christmas themed ones, of course - she likes to go all out like that)

But yes, I see the shippers using this as a way to sail their ship. Yes, of course they want to throw a christmas celebration as a way to make Yuu happy - but it wouldn't hurt if they indulged in some light trickery now would it. Cue cartoon shenanigans where everyone is sabotaging each other, leading to total chaos and a Yuu that is both frazzled and totally oblivious.

"C'mon, Jaffy - just 'cause your little protege doesn't appreciate Yuu doesn't mean you have to ruin things for us. Where's your christmas spirit?"

"You don't even celebrate christmas!"

"Neither do you!"

Not to mention all of the animal companions that want special christmas treats as well (much to Pluto's irritation and obvious jealousy)

slick and crowbar's mental versions of reality if they were forced to lead each other's gangs - visual concepts

basic hypothesis: their mental states would progress in opposite directions. Slick at first would think of it as no big deal and that he can handle "a bunch of soddin retards," and would treat all of them similarly to the way he treats deuce, dispensing orders and hitting and hurting them as he feels necessary. however after a maximum of 3 weeks with a lack of access to sentient minds and as the repeated corporal punishments show diminishing returns he would begin to feel the ramifications of being surrounded by what he thinks of as 14 deuces. this would go along with the added stress of living in an environment that constitutes his personalised hell (clocks/frogs/green/snowman). the visceral disturbance within him gradually builds up and when someone taller than him tugs on his coat collar and asks him to tuck them in to bed his mind would snap. his violence against them despite being their leader would become gratuitous. when the solid colours use their abilities to prank him he would begin reacting disproportionately. he would be speedwalking through the halls holding his head and hallucinating slime while a felt member is following him begging for something to do. squeezing his eye closed saying "shut up shut up shut up" even when nobody is talking anymore. he would have broken most clocks in the mansion even the ones they try to replace but continues to hear them tick. unless the situation or environment changes he would continue to deteriorate.

meanwhile crowbar would be locked in psychological warfare with the crew who will never accept him as one of their own for biological and ideological reasons. The best metaphor for crowbar's usual environment compared to this new one is if he were a special needs summer camp counsellor now placed with 'troubled teens' who sit through him explaining various preplanned activities then stare at him with contempt and only do whatever they ideologically agree with doing. The first scene would involve this new arrangement sitting in the hideout around the table in silence and he tries to say one thing and smoke gets blown in his face. after a few seconds he starts saying something else and a low growling sound is heard and he shuts up completely. everyone would be conscious of the missing piece in the crew and the replacement that doesnt belong. everything he says would be scrutinised and he would feel the need to explain/justify most of his decisions especially to droog who he thinks of as intelligent and refined. (he fully buys into the image that droog sells). he does everything he can to rise up from the idiotic association of the felt even though he would defend his gang/species to the end of the earth if they were directly insulted. the only one who is nice to him (agreeing with all of his ideas, baking cookies in the shape of his face, consistently making a point of calling him "boss," etc) is clubs deuce which is so disconcerting compared to the treatment from the other two it leads him to believe deuce is the true mastermind in this situation, deliberately trying to earn his trust in order to weaken his defences. He would periodically go back and forth between this paranoia and phases where he is almost "fooled" by deuce's behaviour.

however after 6-12 months of this psychological warfare crowbar would eventually realise he has now adapted to the crew's individual ways and personalities. he ultimately learns how to act so that they will work with him even though he will never truly synergise or fully understand their ways of communication. and when he finally returns to the felt he'll somewhat MISS being with the crew but ultimately rejoin the gang he belongs to with a new outlook and wlil begin making more of an effort to encourage their independence and individual strengths. whereas slick would barely learn anything from this experience because it is pure mental torture for him. He would slither back up to his crew wordlessly and the only thing he would note is how much better it feels to be around them and little else. the scenario would serve no greater purpose either other than hypothetical psychological experimentation that only lats the duration it takes for them to both reach a plateau of torment

cirrus is in love with the racing game she got

aether doesn't use technology so is given monopoly but each place is the location of somewhere they've made memories together

rain's love language is giving gifts and he's so damn good at it

What do the bad kids get each other on birthdays

Adaine all ways gets people some variation of baked good enchanted to not go stale since it’s all ways a truly unreasonable amount.

Riz is a bit of a wild card but whatever it is it’s always extremely personalised and a great gift.

Gorgug will get them something home made akin to the tin flower he gave Fabian but with a slight bit more artificer work added to it

Kristen is like Riz in the fact she’s a wildcard however the gift if truly random one year it was a bunch of tie dye the next it was a gym membership so they could work out together. The rest of the kids and even parents have a bet before a birthday to see who can get the closest to what it is.

Fabian always goes all out on gifts he’s rich and he enjoys spending it on his friends. It often a bunch of small trinkets or a couple really expensive items like a new fancy drum set for Gorgug one year.

Fig try’s and often succeeds to write a song in the person’s favourite genre and it’s always a hit (she has like +20 in performance or something)

Adaine is great at baking and loves sharing the things she makes with he friends. She's the one that bakes and decorates their birthday cakes and they're always amazing. All of the bad kids have a favorite kind, but all of them enjoy her cheesecakes the most. As for their actual gifts, its usually something that is small enough to snack on over multiple days like cookies or mini muffins. Fabian insists she is trying to ruin his figure.

Riz is the kind of person who will notice you looking at something in a store a little too long and will make a note of it. He has lists of things he could get people for their birthdays. Narrowing it down is always the hard part, and making sure that no one else has purchased it for them, or that they dont already have it themselves. A good chunk of his money from his detective work goes towards his friends and family in this way. People are usually a bit confused as to how he knew they wanted the gift, but then they remember his perception is through the roof.

Gorgugs gifts are beautiful and hand made, like little jewelery boxes or bags or hairpins. They're all very thoughtful and he's careful to test them before giving them to anyone in case the artificer tweaks he made to them malfunction.

Kristen sees something she thinks someone will like and buys it without a second thought (she has a 100% hit accuracy on this). She's usually the person who's panic buying the gift the morning of though, because she totally forgets the dates. If she's given a couple days heads up though the gifts are usually pretty thoughtful if not a bit random.

Fabian is amazing at buying people gifts. They're often very personalised, thoughtful and money is not an issue. He doesnt like handing them directly to people though, and will usually leave them where he knows the person will find them later when he's not in the room (he does at least sign the attached card these days though, after his first gift to his friends made him seem like a weird stalker).

Figs songs are always a huge hit with her friends, and they've come to expect them now. Riz cannot handle the attention though and will usually be hidden nearby to listen to the first performance on his birthdays rather than standing where people can see him.

thinking about Charles being so good for his mommy especially at Christmastime because he is ALWAYS good but at Christmas his mommy likes to shower him in extra love and presents just for being a good boy!!!! and he probably loves the coziness of winter because he gets to be inside and cozy bundled up with his mommy even more than usual 🥺

So firstly, of course he’s always a good boy!! All he ever wants is to make his mommy happy. If his mommy is happy then he’s happy. To him, the job of a good boy is to make his mommy happy!!

But ESPECIALLY around Christmas time.

Honestly I think Charles just adores Christmas time so so much? All the fun Christmas activities he can do with you, the cold weather making it perfect cuddle weather, all the nice gifts he can get for you, all the gifts you can give him.

But most importantly, he’s not working at all over the Christmas break and neither are you!! It’s the one time of the year where he can spend as much time with you as he wants, where he can truly be his mommy’s little darling without having to worry about anything else. He’s not even training, he can just relax with mommy.

And that is why Christmas time will ALWAYS be his favourite time of the year. Always.

He’s always in the best mood ever when Christmas time comes around, because it’s bonding time with mommy and with family!!

From November he’s already looking for ways to be an extra good boy, already giddy and excited for all the hours he can spend baking cookies with mommy and cuddling with mommy and watching Christmas movies with mommy.

Maybe you get matching Christmas sweaters? And you get his oversized so he can make sweater paws and bundle himself up which makes cuddles even cosier!!

Also, maybe Charles makes you a personalised advent calender? He saw some couples do it on tiktok and instantly he’s obsessed. He doesn’t tell you anything, but he plans every single day so you get little gifts that he knows you’ll love and wraps each present and always includes a little chocolate. Every morning he brings you your present for the day and you unwrap it and praise him and thank him.
