Have you ever read the original Peter Pan and Wendy novel? If you had and enjoyed it, and if you haven't, did you know I did an entire comic adaptation of the novel, with some expanded adventures that Barrie mentions happened during the time on the island? Well, I did! ^_^
You can read it on my home page or on Tapas! It's a work of love so I hope you'll check it out ^_^ I think you'll enjoy the original Peter and the awesome girl that is Wendy (the story is really about her ^_-)

And look, I've come to a point of hey, the Gisney version exists, I'll never escape it, but now with a new one, I'm worried some of the original canon stuff will get lost again. I wouldn't mind as much if the Gisney one didn't become the main lore ^_^;; The original is lovely ^_^
I spent like 10 years immersing myself in the story and really getting to the heart of things, and I just hope you can also check it out and enjoy it along with other versions out there ^_^ It has a special place in my heart for many reasons, and I hope you'll enjoy it too!
Animated extract form some comic pages that I draw inspired from my favorite Peter Pan adaptation, the movie from 2003. This whole sequence in particular is so touching for me 💫 I used AF and some stock videos for the animation
Some more horrible Peter Pan as I have rewarded myself by rereading Boatswain’s Hook for like the fifth time… I can’t help it I have such tender feelings for Hook and Smee 🥺
Anyhoot I know the poem is a little too modern for Peter Pan but I am always struck - between the aforementioned tenderness of the two men, “I’d give you one of my lungs if I could,” ough augh - by the frightening apparition of this horrible boything, crouched over Hook’s sickbed, stating so plainly that he’d come to kill the captain in his moment of weakness but too baffled to reconcile the Storybook Hook with the invalid he found in there. @johannestevans has a wonderful way of crafting phrases and passages that stick in your mind months and years afterwards! Go peruse his catalogue if you haven’t! You’ll like it!
I introduced Spideypool to my seven-year-old little sister. Well, almost. All she knows is that they are a hero and an antihero who love each other very much, hahaha. She noticed that I make fanarts of them in my sketchbook from time to time and even made one for me. She says it's "our ship". Awn, love her so much 😍
Oh, and don't ask why Wade is wearing shorts and flip-flops, even she couldn't explain, lol.
Here are some of the doodles I have in my sketchbook.
The Cthulhu Invades Neverland Kickstarter is finally live!!!
70 comic creators, including myself, came together to create this 200 page anthology about Lovecraftian horrors invading the world of Neverland. I wrote and illustrated the Wendy Darling story, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I'm also proud of the amazing work all the other creators brought to this book, so I'd love it if you'd check out our campaign!
Friendly reminder: Peter named his son after Rocket 😌
And no, it's not some "awesome bro moment" where Peter marries a girl, invites Rocket over for dinner, then annouces he would be his kid's godfather or anything like that 😂. So now I can proudly give you my Roquill presentation ☕️ (ok tbh it's not that long).
Long story short, Peter was blown away into another...dimension and couldn't go back.
He met 2 hot people and they invited him to join their poly 😋.
Of course he refused. He hadn't given up hope for going back to his team. But, after some years...
Horrayy, now we got bi poly Peter Quill 🎉🎊
Ehem, well, he then had a child with Aradia (the woman). His stay prolonged for 100 years more before he found a way to come back.
So my take is: Rocket held a special place in Peter's heart (not like that needs to be proven). He spent a lifetime not being able to see any of the Guardians, and he chose Rocket, out of all people, to name his child (note that Richard Rider, even just in a playful way, was kinda jealous). 'Cause their bond was that special. Peter missed Rocket dearly and this is his way to cherish their memories being together.
