it would allow for pipbeth and perico,exploring more of those ‘our parents hate each other ‘ storylines,ie,Annabeth thinking she wouldnt get along with Piper because she’s a Aphrodite kid,or even better!Piper becoming a hunter of Artemis,that could lead to come nice character conflict with her being the child of love.

Percy and Nico having to rework their relationship and trust in each other.Their would be either no power balance or less of one if Percy/nico were dating because they’d both be big three kids,Tartarus can work out the same still,but Percy would know more since Nico talked to him about it.

plus we’d get Nico/annabeth bonding over Tartarus and becoming friends.

soloangelo has no real appeal and its text book ‘sunny x emo’.

Every time it was described that Jason thought Piper was beautiful even without makeup, it made me want to throw myself at the first large predatory animal I could find. I seriously could never perceive this as something romantic. Not even in my worst moment of destroyed self-esteem would I perceive these descriptions as a compliment.

Group photo! I found this pose that made me think of Jason, Leo, Piper, Annabeth and Percy. Except I had to change the expression to fit Annabeth. To make it more “Annabeth”. I also wanted to try it without adding the white streaks in Annabeth and Percy’s hair. Honestly I like it more without the white streaks.

i’d like to think that for maybe a few months or even a year or two after jason officially leaves the legion he dresses super eclectic. like think matthew gray gubler type levels of mismatched. cause he’s just trying so hard to figure out who he is and what he wants himself to look like because he can do that now.

like it’s just a year of him going “yes i like these pants” (they’re navy blue corduroy) and “this is my favorite t-shirt” (it’s a bright green shirt with a wolf pun on it) and he just wears that and piper tries her hardest not to make fun of him because he looks kinda crazy but jason is finally being his own person so she bites her tongue.

jason finally understands why leo almost crashed out after a bad haircut because his hair is part of himself. jason never understood that before because until now his body didn't even belong to himself; it belonged to the legion, to juno. but now jason has a very similar reaction when he thinks he might have to wear a shirt that's a very similar purple to that of the camp jupiter shirt. he never picks up a piece of fabric that color purple ever again.

eventually he calms down and settles on softer, lighter colors that make him feel calm and fabrics that aren’t as scratchy as the camp jupiter t-shirts. he keeps his hair longer than it was before but still out of his eyes. he thinks about shaving it sometimes for convenience but then remembers that he isn't a soldier anymore. piper and leo don't bring up his year of trying to find himself because they're just so relieved that jason is finally becoming his own person and they never want him to feel embarrassed about that.

As a queer (Lesbian & aro) person I still don't know what people mean by Jaspiper feeling forced. Like I genuinely thought they were cute and didn't like them breaking up because it came out of nowhere. It would have been cool for them to deal with the Hera memories as a couple.

I love the hc that Percy has his own version of charmspeak ("Siren Song") but it's more dangerous bc it's not as natural.

So my own take:

The first time he uses it, is by accident on the Argo II. They're being swarmed by monsters and Percy's main weapon has always been his tongue, manipulating and goading his enemies, so he panics and just yells 'Stop!'

They do, if only for a few seconds, and the air that left his lungs now can't return, he can't breathe-

Piper has to order him to do so.

He decides not to do it again, unless they have no other choice. He does do it, once more. He's smarter about his order this time. The monster is on the verge of falling under Piper's spell, and the others are too busy with other enemies, so he commands 'Listen to her'.

He cannot breathe again, but Piper manages to help him much faster this time. His voice is raspy afterwards, but heals after a few days.

And then he and Annabeth fall into Tartarus.

There is no Piper to force him to breathe here, but he's dying anyway from the arai, might as well try to protect her.

'Leave her alone! Remove her curse!'

For a moment he suffocates, and he hopes the curses kill him soon as the burning in his lungs is unbearable. Suddenly, the burning seems more real, he coughs out firewater.

The Phlegethon healed him.

He practices in Tartarus, their bodies injured and exhausted enough that, more often than not, fighting isn't really an option.

He gets used to suffocating. After a while though, it stops, as he learns to withstand in. It's not nearly as powerful as Piper's. It's enough to survive.

When they get out, him and Piper start working together more often. Because while you're focused of resisting the pretty voice with a pretty face, there is someone sneaking behind you, just as deadly, and suddenly the pretty voice belongs to whom you trust.
