The Touchstarved DEMO by @redspringstudio! I had so much fun replaying this DEMO over and over, I truly cannot wait for the full release. The art is gorgeous, the writing is excellent, and I am surprised at how much I really loved each character, I expected to at least hate one or two of them like with My Next Life lol. I highly recommend checking out the DEMO if you're a fan of otome games or gothic stories!

Summary:

I thought when playing more otome games it would be really hard to beat My Next Life, simply because I am a huge fan of the source material that preceded the game. But wow, with the way this game is setting up plotlines, the full version of this game could easily make it onto my top favorite games list. Otome games are all about replayability, and the way just the DEMO is so rich with content and alternating paths makes me so excited and hopeful for the full game's release. I am bummed I got onto the Touchstarved train late and missed the kickstarter, but hopefully a shop will open around release bc I'd kill for an art book. The art is just so gorgeous and I cannot wait to do some studies, especially with color and rendering. Before playing otome games, I like to look at the character profiles beforehand and predict who I'd like and dislike. And I am very delightfully surprised that any initial dislike I had of characters all but vanished because the writing and personalities of these characters were so well made. I thought I was going to hate Leander but he ended up being the character I'm most curious about. Although I would say my least favorite is Kuras simply bc I'm not a fan of romancing doctors, I am still curious about his background story and connection to the others. In other words, great character who is just not my type. I am also delightfully surprised at the "vulgarity" in this game without being overly explicit -- I have grown so tired of how sanitized a lot of games and shows have been that it's always really nice seeing indie companies play by their own rules. I am so glad I stumbled across this game!! At this point I've done every route favorably but haven't tried all the "wrong" options -- more to play whenever I think about how excited I am for the full game! I've also seen the sneak peaks of an upcoming update ^_^. Highly recommend the game!!

I've wondered before if Dream Selves might cause neurological issues for the Players. After all, if your brain is operating an entire secondary body while it's sleeping, how much actual rest is it getting?

On the other hand, Sburb Players are created by the game, and the game can make any changes it likes. A Player's brain chemistry might be different enough from a baseline human that the issue simply doesn't arise.

Unfortunately for Jade, her dreams are even less restful than they used to be - and I don't know if the game prepared them for this eventuality.

...wait, but then why didn't Dad know anything? He's been bemused by Sburb since the very beginning - and he was always destined to be involved, so I don't know why Nanna would hide it from him.

A long time ago, I theorized that the Underling heads in Harley Mansion's foyer were evidence that Grandpa had participated in a Sburb session himself.

In a post-Hivebent world, we can see that theory is riddled with holes. Just for fun, let's poke a few.

If Grandpa was a Sburb Player, where and when did his Reckoning occur?

If he didn't have one - or if he lost the game some other way - how did he avoid dying in a null session?

If he won the game, why was he still around to raise Jade? Where is his universe?

Most obviously of all, how could he exist as a Player, when he was created for John's session as a Guardian?

Based on our current understanding of the lore, and that last point in particular, this theory is a complete non-starter. It makes no sense for a Guardian to have participated in a separate session to the kids.

So, given all of that, I hope you understand the full breadth of my confusion when I ask:

How the fuck did Nanna gain Sburb levels?

I don’t wanna spend too much time on this 2day but I absolutely want to try and make a full post about this theory at a later time. So if I come off weird it’s cuz I’m tired hsbcrvg, I’m gonna forget if I don’t write it out now tho.

I’m also not at all an expert, just autistic 😎. To quote Raph, “I’m not a scientist but this is absolutely your guilt glands, excreting guiltzimes into your guiltis system☝️😌.”

But basically I, as I’ve said before, am now incredulously familiar with the different Rise turtle species’ anatomy. And over the last month or two I’m becoming increasingly sure of the theory that they aren’t just blood related through Lou Jitsu, but have a little of each others turtle DNA too.

⭐️The biggest undeniable signifier of this is Donnie’s plastron and bridge. It’s of course important that there’s a lot that doesn’t have to be accurate in a stylised completely fictional show like Rise, and especially with mutants.

But man it’s a pretty big plot hole to have this character who’s design and character (as well as story at times) be known as having a softshell because of his species, but give him these key/obvious turtle attributes that said species definitely doesn’t have, he certainly didn’t get a hard and external plastron + bridge from his human side. /nm /gen

Turtles have tons of bones inside their bodies like most animals do, but the shell, bridge and plastron bones are more external, and covered scutes. The skin connects around the two gaps in the front and back.

Softshells still have a hard plate with their spinal cord and [shorter] ribs, but it’s under a leathery “shell” of skin, and they don’t have a solid bridge connection like other turtles. Their bones are absolutely wack bro /pos. Their plastron and the closest thing they have to a bridge are still equivalent to our front ribs, but even more so in that they’re still behind skin [but I don’t think muscle?], and that skin more or less is around their entire body [kind of].

[it’s worth mentioning that in other species they do have lots of nerves and stuff in their shells, they ARE still sensitive, though most likely less. Not too relevant to this but I feel like people have the assumption that their shells are super numb or they can’t feel stuff touching them. They love those shell brushes yo!]

Then there may be extra little details that COULD support this theory as well.

-Donnie being seen going inside his shell twice, once in the lair games and then once in the purple jacket (in the basket of Aprils bike). I’ve always preferred to retcon these, as Softshells cannot go inside their shells at all. But with a harder plastron and bridge ‘outside’ of his skin that connects to where his shell sticks out, it isn’t as impossible as a normal softshell, and of course Mikey and Leo absolutely can and have completely gone in their shells. [tba examples?]

Also snapping turts can’t go inside theirs either, though considering how massive Raph’s limbs are he probably can’t even with Mike and Lee’s DNA influence, not that it’s realistic for any of the ninja turtles to be able to go in their shells LOL.

-Donnie looking like he has small spines/spikes across his spine, even though Spiny softshells don’t have any there, but rather at the top lip of their softshell. Some do on occasion have their spine make bumps visible on their ‘shell’.

Rise, like many 2D handrawn animated things, has quite a few design inconsistencies, but you can usually surmise the most common version of something once you collect enough references. Though ngl I’ve seen a lot of both spiny looking bumps and just wobbly bumps, some with no bumps. But my point is this could be a minor feature from Raph’s Alligator Snapper DNA, unlikely but worth mentioning, plus super cute. [tba example images]

-Raph’s fear stink? I need to do more research on this, but I know that Softshells are actually known to release an odor to scare off others, if I’m remembering correctly. [tba info?]

-Mikey’s shell patterns, when studying Red-eared slider shells, I was so stoked to see the inspiration of Leo’s shell markings, and it looked like Mikey’s also matched his species. That is, until I realised Mike matched with COMMON/EASTERN box turtle shells. Ornate box turtles almost always have these radiating stripes. I’ve personally made my own kind of in between for how I draw him, but it made me realise how maybe it was influenced by Leo’s slider DNA? [tba example images]

-The same Plastron + Bridge argument as Donnie but with Raph. Alligator Snappers def have em, but they cover waaaay less than most turtles do, their bridges are very narrow and their plastron don’t even stick out, or are that thick, it’s pretty interesting. [tba example images]

       It's now time for the Harvest Festival, and the two roommates plus Y/N are saying their goodbyes. When Enid and Y/N saw Tyler, they made a face. Enid doesn't trust him, as she remembers how he was (this is just a theory, I don't know if this is true). Y/N doesn't for she doesn't like how he looks at her like she is a piece of meat, and something just doesn't seem right about him. 

Y/N's POV

       I don't know why she has to trust this normie, there's just something off about him. I am surprised that she wants me to come with her, as she seems to be the loner type, but I'm happy that she wants me to come with her. I also decided not to tell Enid about Wednesday being my mate. I love her, but she's too gossipy. 

Wednesday's POV

       I was saying bye to Enid. I'm glad Y/N decided to come with me. 

       "Are you sure you can trust that normie," Enid asks me, and I saw Y/N nodding in agreement. I need to ask her about this, and see if I need to torture Tyler.

       "I trust that I can handle myself and keep Y/N safe," I replied, and I saw Y/N smile, though she did try to hide it.

       "Well, good luck and safe travels," Enid told me and went to hug me goodbye. I stepped away, only allowing Y/N to hug me though she doesn't know yet, "still not a hugger. Got it."

       With that both Y/N and I went over to the dart throwing stand. Y/N is just watching me dominating the game with awe in her eyes, so I just kept going. Well, until we were interrupted by Xavier.

       "Jeez, you get any better at this, you'll be taking home a whole pack," he said, while also trying to get close to Y/N. This caused her to get uncomfortable and scoot closer to me. I glared at him, telling him to back off.

       "Pandas don't travel in packs. They prefer solitude," I replied.

       "All right. Subtle hint taken," he told me.

       "You should know we're waiting for someone," I told him, in hopes that he'll leave us alone.

       "Oh yeah, who's the lucky guy.... or girl," he asked, though that isn't his business. 

       "What does it matter to you," I asked him, but that is when Tyler shows up, walking towards us. I felt Y/N come even closer after seeing him.

       "Didn't mean to interrupt," Tyler said, looking at all of us, but his stare seems to linger on my mate, my omega. I glared at him, as I didn't like him looking at her like that. I'm starting to realize why Y/N seems to be uncomfortable around him.

       "You're not," Xavier scoffs and walks away.

       "This is gonna be trickier than I though," Tyler told me, "dad hit me with a curfew. we need to go if I'm gonna make it back in time."

       "I've got some dead weight I need to lose first. Meet us behind the parking lot when the fireworks start," I told him. I handed the stuffed panda to the vendor, "you see that sad, lonely woman over there? She needs this pathetic validation more than I do. Would you mind distracting her?"

       Once the vendor has Weems distracted, I help Y/N's hand to sneak away to the parking lot. We finally saw the parking lot and Tyler. We walked up to him, and saw that he had something in his hand.

       "Hey, before you leave, I wanted you to have this," he told me handing me the file, "it's your dad's police file from when he was at Nevermore. I think it's the reason my dad hates him. You okay?"

       "I'm not used to people engaging with me," I told him, " most see me coming and cross the street."

       "You're not scary. You're just kinda.... kooky," he told me. 

       "I prefer spooky," I told him flatly. I felt Y/N silently laugh at this. I looked towards her with a smirk on my face.

       "Oh," he just says. 

       "Now my train leaves in an hour. We're burning moonlight," I said, still holding Y/N's hand.

       "Uh, right, right," he said walking with us. We continued on, until the group of boys that was bothering Y/N and I showed up with bats. I went to fight when Tyler stopped me.

       "Hey. Come on, Wednesday. Wednesday," he tried to get my attention, "we can lose them in the crowd."

      And that is what we did. We ran into the crowd hoping to lose them soon. I kept a tight hold on Y/N, so I wouldn't lose her in the crowd. As we ran, I ran into Rowan and was sent into a vision. In the vision, a lot was happening, but I did see Rowan die. I finally got out of the vision, and looked towards Rowan. He looked back at me, then walked into the woods. I knew I had to go after him.

      "Shit. Wednesday, we need to go," Tyler told me, with Y/N looking at me in concern, "Wednesday, come on. Wednesday!"

       "Rowan, come back," I yelled to him, running after him. I could hear Y/N running after me, which I didn't like at all but I continued to run after him. We were now pretty deep into the woods, "Rowan, wait!"

       "What do you want? Why are you following me," he asked me in an irate tone. I felt Y/N stop next to me.

       "I don't have time to explain, but you're in danger," I told him. He started to chuckle, and I stared at him confused.

       "I think you've got it backwards," he told me, then used his power to send me into a tree, but he also did the same thing to Y/N. This caused me to growl at him and to fight against his power, "You're the one who's in danger."

       "What are you doing," I asked him.

       "Ro-Ro-Ro-Rowan, this is-is-is-isn't you," Y/N told him, and I could tell she was scared, which caused my protective instincts to go into overdrive.

       "Saving everyone from you," he told me, completely ignoring Y/N, "I have to kill you."

       "The gargoyle, that was you," I asked him, now realizing what was happening.

       "Yeah," he replied, smiling.

       "It's always the quiet ones," I said. Rowan then used his power to bring a drawing, of what looks like me, with Y/N hiding behind me, surrounded by fire. Y/N looks shocked at see the drawing.

       "The girls in the picture. That's both of you," he told us.

       "You want to kill us because of some picture," I asked him.

       "My mother drew that picture 25 years ago when she was a student at Nevermore," he told me, "she was a powerful Seer. Told me about it before she died."

       "Rowan, put us down," I told him.

       "No! My mother said it was my destiny to stop the girls if she ever came to Nevermore," he told me, "because she will destroy the school and everyone in it. Of course, it it was only Y/N then I didn't have to kill anyone, but you had to show up,"

       "Rowan," I pleaded with him, "Rowan."

        Just then, behind Rowan, a beast showed up and attacked Rowan. This let both Y/N and I down from where we were pinned. I heard Y/N scream, and this caused me to get to her and shield her from the scene. She grabbed my jacket and held on tight. After the creature was finished with Rowan, it turned to look at us, then ran off. I crawled towards Rowan's body to look at him in shock.

~Line Break~

       I was back in my dorm, with Y/N sleeping on my bed. I couldn't let her back to her dorm, with my instincts running wild at the moment. I was sitting at my desk looking at both the drawing and my father's police file, when my parents called my on my crystal ball.

      "Hello, my little black cloud," my father said.

       "So tell us darling, how was your first week," my mother asked.

Let's see. I narrowly avoided death twice, discovered that my father may be a murderer, learned that I could potentially destroy the school, and was mysteriously saved by a homicidal monster.

       "As much as it pains me to admit, you were right, Mother," I told them, "I think I'm going to love it here."

gillion and chip as hadestown!orpheus and eurydice

ok so i was listening to hadestown again because i love it dearly and i am still desperately trying to cope with ep 101 and i was like haha. chip and gillion as orpheus and eurydice. because yknow in the context of the actual myth you could compare it to the whole feywild arc and whatnot.

but then i listened to it more (more than halfway through the first song) and i realized it’s way better (worse) if you have it the other way around with chip as hadestown eurydice and gillion as hadestown orpheus. (there’s another way to read it too but we’ll get to that because it’s a bit more convoluted since. well it’s basically a game theory atp)

i’m going through this song by song because i have never felt happiness or peace ever

Road to Hell: ok so ignoring the gods for now. road to hell does eurydice a little dirty so for this song it’s just orpheus i’m talking about, but hermes describes him as a muse’s son and touched by the gods themselves. ok cool whatever so what Any Way the Wind Blows: “eurydice was a hungry young girl / a runaway from everywhere she’d ever been”? like yeah ok sure cool (side note? “ain’t nobody gonna stick around when the dark clouds roll” and  for chip, mr. constantly both afraid his crew will stay and will leave anytime something bad happens and who literally lost his family in the hole in the sea? silly.) plus for orpheus, “and this poor boy wore his heart on his sleeve / you might say he was naive to the ways of the world / but he had a way with words”. that’s my boy right there

Come Home with Me: most of this is just very funny (”oh, a liar and a player too?”) but “why would i become his wife?” “because he’ll make you feel alive” kinda got me a little tbh. and there’s also the ongoing theme of orpheus working on something to fix the balance of the world, which he can do because he’s touched by the gods.

Livin’ it Up on Top: most of this i’ll talk about when i talk about the gods because woo boy that should be a post of its own with how much psychological damage it caused me. but “there was a girl who had always run away / you might say it was in spite of herself / that this young girl decided to stay” for chip?

All I’ve Ever Known: yeahhhhhhhh nothing real metaphorical about this one. fnc shippers come get yalls juice ig idk that’s really all for that one

A Gathering Storm: title aside, the whole thing is eurydice being concerned about the practical way they will survive the winter while orpheus works on his song to make the world right again.

When the Chips are Down: hand to god i did not think about that pun until now. but yeah this whole song really sold it for me. “help yourself (to hell with the rest), even the one who loves you best / take if you can (give if you must), ain’t nobody but yourself to trust / aim for the heart (shoot to kill), if you don’t do it then the other one will” are interesting enough to think about with chip because basically his whole thing is not turning out like that but there are still some times (mainly early on) that he gets a little closer to those ideas. finally, “cast your eyes to heaven / you get a knife in the back”. put your life in the hands of anything but yourself and you get fucked over.

Wait for Me intro: alright one god i can pitch right now. hermes with the “so, just how far would you go for her? you got a ticket? yeah, i didn’t think so. course there is another way, but nah, i ain’t supposed to say.” being as mean as possible rn? hermes as niklaus would work as absolutely unfortunate as that is. which also makes the “ain’t no compass, brother, ain’t no map” line in the actual song even funnier since it’s hermes describing how to get to the underworld to save eurydice.

Wait for Me: the fates hit orpheus with the self doubt and worry that essentially he’s not the chosen one, part one. don’t really need to explain that one

Way Down Hadestown (Reprise): now hear me out on this. because hades’ whole bit is deals for people’s souls. eurydice signs a deal to give him her soul in exchange for not starving to death, and this song is her realizing what that really means and trying to defend it. which i will admit, makes it seem like it would work for niklaus too. but we’ll come back to that

If it’s True: “is this how the world is? to be beaten and betrayed and then be told that nothing changes?” now this one got me a little, between gillion’s ‘my last sin’ speech and what he said to jay in the block.

Intro to Wait for Me (Reprise): “it’s a trap?” “it’s a trial.” hermes explaining to orpheus and eurydice the conditions of them being allowed to leave. at the end of the day, according to hermes, their success rides on whether they trust each other and themselves. arguably the most recurring theme of riptide.

Doubt Comes In: orpheus doubting that he actually has the power to bring her back, thinking he has been tricked or is too weak to do it. in gillion’s own mind, his fatal flaw is not knowing if he believes he can be the chosen one or protect his friends. and for orpheus, he couldn’t.

a good amount of the songs are missing because i haven’t talked about hades and persephone yet. they’re. a separate issue

You'll see me talking about Astride more than most other upcoming games because it seems like Astride is the only one that will be catering to a lot of my wants and needs in a horse game.

It's going to be a single player story game, BUT with a very easy to use multiplayer feature where your friends can come visit your personal game and help you out with chores, do competitions together, and just ride around in the world together.

PLUS they've promised the ability to trade horses with friends. I'll be able to breed horses in my game and send them to a friend's game. This, by extension, really means that horses aren't trapped in a single save file. If I want to start a new game, or have multiple games for different purposes, I in theory should be able to trade the horses between those games as needed.

The horse trading plus the ability to easily visit other players without being forced into a multiplayer experience is a huge part of why I'm excited for this. My family love playing games together, but some games don't allow for it at all, some games make multiplayer very complicated to do, and some games force us onto a server with many other people.

Also, as far as upcoming games are concerned, the actual appearance of the horses is quite good! A game called Unbridled is going with a style that's aiming to be realistic and... uh... doesn't look great to me. Too much detail in the texture. It hurts my eyes. Then there's Tales of Rein Ravine which unfortunately will be single player (though I'm still excited for it), but it's going for a VERY stylized look. Which isn't a bad thing! But I just like Astride better as it's struck a balance between stylized and realism. Not too much realistic detail, but just enough that the horses feel real.

Some aspects of Astride's gameplay are unclear. They had a huge list of planned features but after the backlash of their Early Access release, they deleted it as to not create expectations. I expect it to have a similar gameplay loop to Ranch of Rivershine. Actually, I hope that it is structured like Ranch of Rivershine! I love RoR, but the controls are 😬

But I love how RoR lets you buy, train, and sell horses for a profit. Or catch them or breed them. I hope Astride allows for that because I like to roleplay as a horse trainer lol. I also like how in RoR, you clean stalls and brush the horses daily. It makes me feel productive and immerses me into the world. I know some folks don't like stuff like that, but I do lol.

I am very excited for the realistic genetics planned to be in Astride. Y'all know how obsessive I get over horse genetics. 😅

But I think mainly, I just desperately want a game with pretty graphics where I can go on trail rides with my family. The only game we've been able to really do that has been RDO and that's... uh... Well, it's not exactly peaceful.

Technically we can go on peaceful trail rides in Horse Isle 3, but it doesn't exactly meet the "pretty graphics" requirement. Like, I don't mind sprinting through the world of HI3 and seeing all the biomes very quickly as I'm running to catch horses or collect treasure. But it's not a game that's conducive to stopping to admire the virtual roses. The world just is so big and empty and there's nothing pretty to look at. At a glance, it can look okay, but don't take the time to really take it all in because you won't like what you see. 😬

So yeah. All my hopes and dreams are resting on Astride.

Let's hope they don't fuck it all up.

PLL: Summer School Random Recap Ep 1 & 2

Just a few of my favorite moments from the first two episodes of PLL: Summer School (PLL: Original Sin, Season 2):

Faran being right all the time:

Ripped out of the headlines. Faran...PREACH, girl. (side note: Sullivan really annoys me. I'm salty AF that she still has a license to practice psychology after not being an adult for the girls in PLL. I get it...A apparently threatened her kid, but woman...YOU ARE THE ADULT!). Also I don't trust her. And I don't like her.

Noa also being right, but in a more blunt manner:

Ah, Noa. Still my favorite. Perhaps it's her characterization or perhaps it's the way Maia portrays her...but I feel like she steals the screen when sharing it and when alone. No surprise given she was my favorite in the first season (still get chills watching that scene with her running through her complex to the roof with A chasing her). But she's upped the game this season. She comes across as so natural in her delivery. Nothing against the others. But sometimes I can tell I'm watching an actor play a character with them, but Maia is Noa. A+. No notes.

Imogen Emison reference?

Wait...wait WAIT...was this an EMISON reference? Am I the ONLY one who saw this?! "Pip gets Estelle in the end." Plus it was an LGBTQ couple who adopted her baby!!

Mouse is coming into her own and I love it:

Calling out the OG PLL:

Was this a shot at PLL and how easily Mona and Charlotte just cruised out when they wanted? Because I love it.

Greg is so not here for this shit:

The first time I laughed so hard I had to pause. Greg is an asshole, but I feel his frustration on the cult shit. And Kelly's "Quiet!" afterwards...peak comedy.

Kelly channeling her inner Alison DiLaurentis:

Oh my GAWD. This was some straight up Dark Alison DiLaurentis on crack shit (or Mona, since..ya know...she ran her best friend over with a car). I'm developing this theory that perhaps Kelly is in on Bloody Mary (goddamn, am I blanking on the Big Bad's name? I think I am). I'm fairly certain her mother and the pastor are evil. I paused when Mouse was reading something on the Spaghetti site and it was word for word worship talking about Bloody Mary being the second coming of Jesus. Also, I just hate religion as a whole. Like Greg, I too, am an atheist.

Mouse's Grandma being the "fun" Grandma:

Okay, so I was super excited that we might have been getting a semi-Grandma Marin character, but after watching I have this awful feeling that this might be a dementia story in the works (I don't know if I believe the "sleepwalking" bit). But she seems like she's going to be a wonderful addition.

Tabby's very pointed reference within a reference:

Tabby out there breaking the 4th wall. And I'm here for it. Given that the writers retconned/rewrote the Ezria adoption due to backlash, I'm kind of glad they read the criticism of Tabby making too many references that piss the viewers off and basically flipped a middle finger at the people who will find positively anything to bitch about. I think it's funny writing. Trolling AF, but still funny.

I hate it when writers cave to the viewers. And as much as I hated the idea of Ezra getting Imogen's baby...I thought it was so dumb to cave to the viewers whining about Ezria getting the kid. People harped on that so much. Ezra can die in a fire for all I care, but I'll go to my grave thinking that the people who complained about Marlene caving to fan service in PLL with the couples in the end are the same people praising the fan service here. And I hate hypocrisy more than I hate fictional characters. I'm a cynic.

Noa being real:

Noa complaining about the fitted sheet was ironic given I was trying to do laundry while watching. Accurate. Side note: I don't know how I feel about this Jen character. I feel like Shawn (Sean? How is it spelled?) is one of the few non-toxic partners in the show (Ash is still bae). I'm all here for bi-representation, but I don't like love triangles and I don't want them fucking with Noa and Shawn/Sean.

And speaking of love interests:

I've seen buzz of people not trusting Christian...and I get it. First of all...this is PLL. And second of all Christian is a very...themed name for a show that is most likely going to have the faith-based cult be psychopaths.

But I am going to be pissed AF if they make him a bad guy after everything Tabby went through. Also, let's not make the first prominent black male a problem please (not counting the Dollar Store fake Eddie Lamb or Faran's dad, who hasn't really been villainy).

Final thoughts: Goddamn, Sandy ate it hard, bruh. I was kind of excited to see that rivalry between her and Kelly.

Loved seeing the power of speaking up about the sexual assault. HATED Wes still being a character and also telling Tabby to have sympathy for her rapist's mother? No. Sorry. She raised a rapist...who raped TWO girls. And she was victim-shaming Tabby. Where is that Bloody woman with the knife when you need one?

Speaking about someone I hated seeing: Sean's mother is a raging thundercunt.

Also: I've seen mixed thoughts about the couple setting a firm tone with Imogen about the baby, but I'm not going to lie...I get it. Most likely they know the shit going on in their town (move, MOVE NOW WHILE YOU STILL HAVE THE CHANCE!). I do think they were kind of snappy with her, but as viewers we have no idea how often she shows up after having signed a legally binding document about the adoption.

Love interest wise: Don't know how I feel about Ash following the girls to that cabin, but also...why TF would they even GO there?! I like this Christian guy for Tabby. Henry kind of annoyed me crossing Faran's boundaries, but Faran punching Greg out was *chef's kiss*. And Shawn(Sean)/Noa are adorable.

Parents: I'm shifting to Tabby's mom being a favorite just because I think she's going to have the most screen time. It was nice seeing Lea Salonga again though. I still hate Faran's mom and I hate that they are all buddy-buddy after everything she did to her child.

New characters: Please don't let this swim coach turn into a creep, please don't let this swim coach turn into a creep. Also curious about the guy Imogen met at the Ice Cream place. And well...I'm already in love with Christian (but then again I love Noah Alexander Gerry). Jen is a bit wooden. Can't tell if it's the character or actress.

Curious about everyone's thoughts.

Sonic Prime Theory: The Chaos Council Are Clones Of Original Eggman

it might be possible that The Chaos Council, aren’t just “fragments” of the Original Eggman, but might be creations of his, in other words his clones. 

Doctor Done-It, Is That Cranky Grandpa that makes you laugh...

Doctor Babble, is a dangerous small bean....who is really cranky...

and probably needs a nap....the reason why he might be really cranky, is because someone keeps avoiding his nap time...

Doctor Don’t, well he does seem like he rather just play video games all day and well that’s okay....but if Maria was alive in that world that has New Yoke in it, would he be mistaken as Maria’s Son...?

(but if he is one of Eggman Sr.’s clones, he wouldn’t really be Maria’s son...)

Mister Doctor Eggman, well he ain’t fooling anyone with that wig he wears...

and might take a bit more after the original Eggman, only the original Eggman never had on a wig, maybe because he wasn’t ashamed of his beautiful baldness...?

plus I’m pretty sure there are some women who are attracted to some guys with bald head, and I guess shaved as well.

so maybe it’s just the Original Eggman that knows this, but Mister Doctor Eggman does not know this information.  

Doctor Deep, I am gonna view as being a Egg-Himbo (much like how Eggman from Sonic Boom, is a bit of a Egg-Himbo.).....and it might be just me, but Doctor Deep just seems to fit that whole meme that goes “Oh, No....He’s Hot!!!”

it might be possible that Sonic and Shadow weren’t the only Original Survivors of the original world they came from and Eggman, the Original, Not “Mister Doctor Eggman”....

was close enough to the paradox prism, which may have allowed Eggman, even Orbot and Cubot.

Eggman Sr., might of ended up creating clones of himself which would then later become The Chaos Council...

reasons as to why he felt the need to clone himself, is perhaps unknown.

Sonic might of been in some form of coma for sometime in the shatterverse, so this would give time for Eggman Sr. to make clones of himself and make the chaos council, and he could be send back to way before the counterparts of Sonic’s friends were born, and Eggman Sr. had to put himself in cryogenic sleep, as well as his clones....

but some of them ended up waking up way too early, like Doctor Done-It.

who stays awake for YEARS, and then when it is maybe a few years before Rebel Rouge and Renegade Knuckles lose their home...

he ends up waking up Mister Doctor Eggman and Doctor Deep.

and they start to take over, and some time after Nine is born and being bullied, the current three of the council, end up waking up Doctor Don’t next....

and then before Sonic fell into that world, Doctor Babble was woken up like a few months ago.

and Eggman Sr. is still in cryogenic sleep, but at a lower level and not in the same room that his clones were in. 

and if it is true that the chaos council are in fact Eggman Sr.’s Clones, that would technically make them a family.

also, is it weird I want to call Mister Doctor Eggman by the nickname “Eggman Jr.”.......if I can call Doctor Deep by the nickname “Egg-Himbo” (which he has to share with the Eggman from Sonic Boom), then I’m gonna call Mister Doctor Eggman by the nickname Eggman Jr.

not everyone has to agree about the whole clone theory...

but I’m fan headcanoning it, and I will wait for it to be proven true or debunked, and it doesn’t matter which, I be fine if it turns out it will be debunked, that just means it will end up in a fanon timeline.

plus I can’t help but think that the Eggman Shadow, that was talking to Rusty, might of not been Mister Doctor Eggman, and might of been some other member that could be like someone who knows they are all clones, and was program with this info, but make sure to keep a eye on the others until the original wakes up....

or it might of been Mister Doctor Eggman after all, it’s just he sounds a little different when you just see his shadow at first even if he is talking to Rusty.

also because of that scene that has to do with a Robotnik’s shadow only showing and the whole talking to Rusty is in a scene, that is why the tag for “sonic prime spoilers” is there.

I wonder if the clone theory will turn out to be true...?

maybe Doctor Deep could be from Eggman’s “Casanova Days” lol.

maybe I should call him “Egg-Casanova” as well, I know I had a dream what I called him “Eggy” something.....I know I had posted about it, which once again weird dream that had a bit of FNAF and Sonic Prime in it.....

I went to check the post, and it says “Eggy-Deep”, so in the dream that is what I called him.....

maybe the reason why I had that weird crossover type dream, is because I was just being weird, my dreams sometimes make no sense and can be weird.

K I'm bored and have thoughts specifically about Welcome Home and the recent gtlive video on it and y'all... I'm tired.

BUT before I begin I will state my bias, yes I am a (adult, this will come up) fan of Mat and game theory, this isn't gonna be me white knighting this is more of a vent about other fans.

So ever since the gtlive I've seen plenty of posts about it in a 50/50 split. One side being worried or upset about the coverage because Mat is a big youtuber and the welcome home community (and especially the creator Clown) are in need of a break right now; and the other side is trying to descalate the reactions and explain how Mat covering the project is not the absolute end of Welcome Home (abit of an exaggeration I'll admit).

As you can tell, this falls into the latter; however the first thing I want to say is that some of the concerns are valid, again Clown and the fandom are in need of a major break (and frankly some of you also need an etiquette lesson) and the timing of the video is very poor, another concern is how Mat and his fans may accidentally cross the boundaries that Clown has set, again these are all completely valid concerns.

However some of y'all are blowing this way out of proportion and being really mean about it too. First of all Mat went into the video completely blind otherwise there wouldn't even be a gtlive about it; he had no idea about the issues in the community or Clowns boundaries at the time of the video, the only ones who would know are the fans who mentioned it in his comments and his team members who take those recommendations.

I'm not saying that the fans or even his team are completely at fault here, but to put the onus completely on Mat is unfairly shifting the blame.

Another thing that, honestly kind of pissed me off a little, were alot of posts with people saying that Mats "children fanbase" were going to overrun the community now.

First of all, Mats channel has been up for what? 10 years now? He has plenty of adult fans (told you it would come up) who know how to act appropriately, second of all just a glance over the comments and you'll see alot of people, who are likely also fans of Mat, talking about Clowns boundaries and how to be respectful.

But beside all of that y'all are saying "child fanbase" as if "children" (bc children is a VERY broad term) don't know about Clowns boundaries or can't respect them, which is honestly kind of insulting, yes kids and teens can be dumb, and I say that as someone who was incredibly stupid as a teen, but not all kids are as disrespectful or unknowledgable as you're making it out to be, plus Mat has 17.4 million subscribers do you really think that all of those people are A. Children and B. Gonna be horrible shits to the Welcome Home community?

K one more thing I've seen people upset that Mat kept using the term cult to describe what he thought was happening within the story, again a valid concern, cults are a very real very scary thing that people have to deal with.

Again, this isn't an excuse this is just an explanation. 1. Mat went in blind, he had no idea what the story was like, it could very well be that the letters that the people behind the (in story) Welcome Home project are getting are from some kind of organization we don't know.

2. Unfortunately cults are a very common "trope" (cliché?) In horror media, this isn't always bad but alot of the time it's less midsommar and more Halloween the curse of Michael Myers if that makes sense, it wouldn't be wrong for one of Mats first thoughts to be a cult, especially since he does videos on media with cults in them.

Since that means he did in fact feel bad for his past actions over Asmo and all. And did in fact try to make up for it all...

But it would suck to know nb!Solomon pretty much ruined it for him with new players who never played og OM to know the full story and all...Because as of rn when it comes to Asmo, and even Barbatos...Solomon is painted in a very bad light now.

Oh agreed! I'm not that platonic flirty like Asmo and you tho myself. lol but do like the idea and support of being platonically affectionate with friends and all. if I ever get the chance to irl that is...But it's sad people really throw so much hate to Asmo for just being who he is. Like if people actually tried to understand his character better (and platonic love/affection too it seems as well). They would see he's one of the most sweetest caring brothers of that family, and from the game too. Yeah he has some poor writing here and there, thanks to the devs poor treatment of him. But once you get past the clear bad writing...You'll see Asmo is such a good character who deserves much love and appreciation.

My very first OTP was probably Eadric & Emma from The Frog Princess series. It doesn't really have a fandom but god, I loved those books... OR Ash & Serena from Pokemon. They were good too.

From Haikyuu, it's got to be Hinata, hasn't it? And he's weirdly underrated, considering he's literally the main character.

From other fandoms, I love Yona from Yona of the Dawn. She goes from literal spoiled princess to some kind of warrior queen, PLUS she gains emotional maturity. May we all grow to be like her.

You know what, guys? I do think Goshiki's cute. I do understand wanting to put him in your pocket. Personally, I don't, but I totally see it.

Love for main characters. It sounds weird, but the fandom is full of people who have a pet side character who barely has any lines. This is GOOD, all character deserve appreciation, but can we get some applause for hinata??

Love for rarepairs. This sounds even stranger, considering my last point, but we need to get used to letting people ship whoever the fuck they want. As long as it's legal.

O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?

After a good old shuffle of my 94 hour playlist, I got Bad Romance by lady gaga. This is gonna come out of left field because I've never mentioned this fandom before, but it's sherliam from moriarty the patriot.

P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).

I've mentioned this to friends before, but we totally need a TGCF hosptial au. Mu Qing is a surgeon, Feng Xin is a physiotherapist, Xie Lian is either a GP or an anesthesiologist, and Hua Cheng is some random reception guy. Mu Qing is always bullying Feng Xin for not being a 'real doctor'. Hualian are married. you see where I'm going.

I wrote whole sections of fanfiction based off my headcanon that Megumi has flat hair like Toji, but he styles it spiky to be like Gojo. I KNOW the canon disproves it. I don't actually care.

I'm going niche on this one - well, more like going into fandoms my followers probably aren't into.

Ayame Sohma, Fruits Basket. Loving brother, perfect example of how to make reparations, and also literally fabulous. And gay.

Ooharano, All Out!. Voice by Ian Sinclair, very good at his sport, hilariously sarcastic. Emotional backstory that was just never mentioned again???

Siatrich Wynknight, The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up At The Duke's Mansion. Very funny, likes to be a bit evil for the giggles, thinks it's funny when his younger brother endangers national relations. Gay.

V - Which character do you relate to most?

GUYS I HAVE NO IDEA. I'm probably closest to Bokuto or Kageyama - and that seems odd, because they're different people, but that's how I am.'

I guess I've always been interested in the idea of a true morally grey character, because sometimes there are characters that are described as morally grey, or even evil, when they're actually Just A Guy (*cough* Oikawa *cough*). The only character I can think of is probably Dazai from BSD. Everyone has an opinion and very few of them are correct. There is no way you can say he is a bad person, because many of his issues come from the fact that he is an orphan, raised by the mafia, and someone who took the opportunity to leave when prompted. Also, in his life after the mafia, he made a genuine effort to make good on his promises and fix his life, including saving Atsushi.

HOWEVER, you can't say he's a totally good person. He lived well in the mafia, because he didn't care about killing people and perhaps even enjoyed it, depending on how you view certain scenes. Many people would say that he's still not on anyone's side, he's only on his own side. This is debatable, but it's still there. PLUS you've got his continuation of the cycle of abuse through Akutagawa, and his willingness to pretend to betray his friends in order to get the outcome he wants. Everyone else is just a pawn to him.

I'm still undecided on him, but I'm proud of every fan that says "he's morally grey" rather than cutting it up into black and white. Remember that BSD was written for the stray dogs, not the ones who have lived happily all this time...

Theory About Brawl Stars (Very Longwinded)

I've been thinking about this for a little too long, and so far it's been bouncing around my head like a game of Pong. This will be longwinded, and even if it only reaches a few people, that's fine. I just want to get this out of my head and put it into text.

I've only been into Brawl Stars for maybe a year or so now, courtesy of Val/comet-wire showing me Mortis. (I like cryptic vampires okay?) But since then I've been a little more confused than anything about the game itself. Maybe too this'll just be me overthinking, but I don't care. I may not be fully versed in the entirety of the lore but I am enough to know something is realllyyyy fishy. (This also might be common knowledge and I'm under the belief I know something big lmfao.)

I feel a larger chunk of this theory also lies on bloodline theories within the game; you can tell that certain characters are related, but it's never really confirmed for a while after. An example of this could be Jessie and Pam being mother and daughter, or Leon and Nita being brother and sister. (And possibly Bo being their father.)

It's likely, though not confirmed, that Belle and Byron are brother and sister. The reason for this is just through their similarities: both are around the same age range (though that doesn't inherently mean much, but in-game the age range similarity sometimes means something), the similar hairstyles they have (both have some sort of slicked back style), both have a pink-glasses style motif, and both have some correlation to money, in Belle's case she's a gunslinger and thief, and Byron is a philanthropist and, in some sense, a thief as well. (MLMs.)

And I'm going to bring up an extended theory, regarding their kids. Belle is more easy to pick apart, as she and Sam are likely the parents of Colt. (Shown through Colt having the same hair color as Belle in one of her skins, and Colt having the same X on his chin as Sam, as well as having a similar hairstyle to the both of them, having that slicked back style plus the large sideburns.) Not to mention the fact that Belle Starr, who was likely the inspiration behind Belle, was married to a Cherokee man named Sam Starr.

As for Byron, there's the possibility he's the father of Edgar. My main reasoning for this is nothing more than they both have/had darker hair, as Edgar has a sort of bluish-black hair color, and Byron has salt and pepper hair. My other reasoning is because they were added so close together in-game, both being added during Brawlidays 2020. Byron was added as a part of the Town Trio, with Piper and Barley, while Edgar was added to the Gift Shop Trio, with Colette and Griff.

Okay, that was that. But, I have one more thing to say about that. I think Colette is Edgar's sister, and Byron's daughter. Now... okay saying this, is a bit risky, for one reason. I'm jeopardizing myself regardless. It's either I'm right, and a lot of people collapse over it, or I'm not right, and I will have to make a major change to this post. (Going to pin this in case that happens.) But why do I really say that? Yes, Edgar and Colette do look very similar, both having a hair swoop and kind of funky teen personalities, but there's another reason, and the main bedding for my theory.

I think Byron is more involved in Starr Park than he lets on.

Starr Park is the central area of Brawl Stars; a weird, cryptic, and sort of unnerving theme park. I'm sure a majority of us have seen the Starr Park promo videos, which showcase really peculiar things occurring in the park.

How exactly does that tie into Colette being related to Byron, and even Edgar being related to him? The simple idea that Byron may be one of Starr Parks primary investors, if not the current owner of the park. So, he's likely having his kids work there. This could be a bit of a hint toward his cynicism, but in one of his voice lines, he straight up says "CEO of Brawl Stars." And Colette is shown to be very overly obsessed with Brawlers, wanting to get their autographs and such, and nearly killing them in the process. Not to mention that she also has voice lines which she openly mentions Brawlers/Brawl Stars itself. So it could have been something where the pair grew up in the center of all of this, and either grew a slight disdain for it (or maybe it's just because Edgar is a teen) or a sever obsession with it, respectively.

Byron does not have any lines where he outright mentions Brawlers/Brawl Stars, though he does have rather cold voice lines, such as saying "Sign here, with your life", "You broke the contract", "Your tears fuel my laughter", etc. Very bizarre.

Moving down the line on this, a lot of the lore could also prove that Brawl Stars takes place in some fucked up amusement park, as I mentioned above that Starr Park was the central area of Brawl Stars. All of this, the battles, could all just be staged. Most all of the Brawlers we know might just be actors, or possibly bizarre experiments. (Mainly pointing to the Undead Trio on that one.) It's already been shown that Mr. P is a bizarre mascot, so anything is possible.

This can be further shown through the fact that a lot of the environments seem like theme/amusement park places: The Wild West, Gem Mountain, Retropolis, Super City, Tara's Bazaar, so on.

Going on there, you can find all kinds of... bizarre... things. Especially in the gallery. There you can find things such as a Spike mask, Morris's shovel, a Mr. P plush and concept art for him, an Eagle Hat similar to Bo's, hairspray like what Emz uses as a weapon, spaghetti.. on a stick... a hair comb likely belonging to Colt, a funny prop head that looks suspiciously similar to Poco, a large prop gun, a Dracula-esque coffin, a mechanical monster that looks like Nita's Bear, more fucking spaghetti on a stick, a poster that has a man similar to Colt on it... it is all very unnerving.

When Starr Park was founded, I have no fucking idea. Some of the lore suggest maybe the 1960s or 1970s? I don't... know... but that seems like a good timeframe.

Starr Park likely would have been founded sometime in the later 60s, and would've definitely been a fever dream for anyone going there. Belle and Byron may have been the children of Starr Park, in the sense their parents may have been the founders. (Hint, Starr Park. Belle and Byron are likely part of the Starr family.) Byron would have been next in line to own the park after his parents retirement, and Belle likely would have wanted nothing to do with it, instead running off with her gang to do her own thing.

Byron would have taken control of the park as an adult, and likely would have cheeped out on some things so he could earn more from the park. Which likely worked! And more likely than anything, the mortality rate went up! Fun day with the family am I right?

Byron would've also introduced the concept of Brawling to the park, as a way to get more people in. Have actors duke it out and people can watch as it happens. Starr Park would constantly be added onto to make room for new fun stuff.

Eventually people began to sign up to be Brawlers, and likely had to start living at Starr Park permanently, as to not disrupt the magic. Byron would also eventually commission robots to be made for the park, usually for maintenance around the park, but also for gimmicks and other things like that.

I probably jumped around with this, but I really just needed to get this out. So, sorry if this is all scattered to Hell or doesn't make too much sense. It's fun how a melee style brawling game can turn into an analog horror right as you're looking at it.

Oh wait, not to mention the newest Brawler Gus, who's supposedly a ghost.

TL;DR: I have a theory that's probably overdone by now, Byron and Belle are siblings, Belle is Colt's mom/Sam's lover, Byron is Edgar and Colette's dad, Byron/the Starr fortune is the main mastermind behind Brawl Stars, the park constantly adds new themes, Brawlers are hired on a consistent base, this crap feels like a fever dream, spaghetti on a stick.

XQC curled up on the floor, his 6'2 body neatly tucked into a fetal position. Being in Los Angeles was lonely, but even more so now that he had caught covid. Despite being a guest at Ludwig's they all avoided him like the plague. Just goes to show what happens when people see a moment of weakness in the number one streamer. They probably hoped it would put him out of the game long enough that they could rise above. He pushed those dark thoughts to the back of his mind. There was one in their friend group who wouldn't want him to think like that. That man was also here in this city. Hasan. Who knew what he was up to right now, XQC pondered if he should text him that he's sick. Would he come running? Probably not.

"You're going to eat something." Ludwig said as he walked into the room carrying two bowls of ramen. "Come on, we don't have time for you to be moping around. We've been waiting for you to get back. You know how bad things can get for us after a week without you."

XQC sighed. He didn't believe that Ludwig and the others wanted him back, but he appreciated the sign of goodwill. It took his mind away from Hasan for a moment until Ludwig spoke again. "If you can get better in the next few days we'll do a disneyland stream, even Hasan can make it!" Ludwig said.

XQC smiled. His smile dropped when Ludwig mentioned Hasan. He couldn't bring himself to talk about him now. He had just spent an entire day avoiding him. He needed a distraction and food would be it.

He picked up one bowl with both hands and poured half the contents into his mouth. The noodles were soft and full of flavor. XQC hadn't eaten much since returning home, so he devoured the food quickly. Ludwig watched him, his face filled with jealousy. He had been hoping XQC would eat first, then they could talk. Ludwig was hungry too, but he didn't feel like eating alone.

"Hey Ludwig," XQC said as he wiped his lips. "Want some?" He offered the bowl to the smaller man.

Ludwig shook his head. He wasn't going to say no and he certainly didn't want to give XQC the satisfaction. "I'm good." Ludwig said.

"Alright." XQC said, putting his bowl down. He felt slightly guilty about taking Ludwig's food. He didn't need to eat, but Ludwig did. He left it where it was, knowing Ludwig was more than capable of finishing the meal. XQC got up off the floor and stretched.

The four of them had gathered in Ludwig's room. They weren't planning on doing anything special, just talking and playing games. XQC sat in a chair, watching the three other men play their game of choice. His phone buzzed. It was Hasan. He immediately replied to his friend.

<Hasan, I'm sick.>

<Aww, yeah! I missed that!>

"What's that?" Hasan asked.

"Nothing." Ludwig said, picking up XQC's discarded bowl and bringing it over to him.

"No way! You always keep food in your mouth! You must be really sick!"

"Yup." XQC said. He grabbed the bowl with both hands and began to eat again.

"See! My theory is true!" Hasan said.

"You never read my texts anyway, you're just jealous because I can eat fast."

"It's not because you can eat fast!"

"Why are you guys fighting?" Ludwig asked.

"We're not..." Xqc started before realizing that they were fighting.

He didn't want to fight with Hasan. He had special feelings for the 6'3 Turk. Although they disagreed on a lot often, XQC liked the Hasan always pushed him to be a better person even when XQC didn't want to be one.

Plus Hasan and XQC are both misogynists so they bond over that as well. Maybe some day they could do a misogyny stream! XQC thought to himself.

"Yeah we are. You're such a bitch, Hasan." Ludwig said.

"I am? When did I ever say that?"

"When you insulted XQC!" Ludwig said.

"Okay, fine, I guess I have said that once or twice." Hasan admitted.

"Once or twice? You're lucky I love you!" Ludwig laughed.

"Do you really love me?" Hasan asked.

"Of course. Why else would I tolerate you?" Ludwig answered.

"Because I'm your best friend," Hasan said.

"That's why." Ludwig agreed.

"Well, thanks for being tolerant of me, Ludwig. I really appreciate it." Hasan said.

"I mean, I'm not super happy about it right now, but I will survive." Ludwig answered.

"So am I a bad boyfriend, Ludwig?" Hasan asked.

"Oh fuck off. You're not my boyfriend."

Ludwig knew Hasan had the hots for XQC, but he wasn't about to let him know. They needed to learn how to work things out between themselves instead of dragging him in to be the mediator all the time.

Suddenly, QTcinderella knocked on the door. She called to Ludwig and told him he was needed downstairs. He politely excused himself from the room leaving Hasan and XQC alone. XQC blushed lightly when he realized they were alone together for the first time in a while. He wondered if the others could hear them.

"How are you feeling, Hasan?" XQC asked.

"Not great. I've been feeling sick lately. I think I may actually be getting sick."

"Is there something you haven't told us?" XQC asked.

"It's nothing like that. I'm just worried I might be pregnant."

XQC's eyes went wide. "Are you serious?"

"Yes. I don't know how to take care of kids. I have absolutely no experience."

XQC looked shocked. "Did you use protection?"

"Of course. I used condoms every single time!"

"Then maybe you should go see a doctor." XQC suggested.

Hasan shrugged. "It's just that I feel terrible.

"Whose baby do you think it is?" XQC asked Hasan.

"I don't know. It could be anyone's."

"Hey! We all know whose it is!" Ludwig shouted from the other room.

"You mean...you think it's mine?" Hasan asked.

"That doesn't make sense Hasan, you can't get yourself pregnant. If you are pregnant it has to be with someone else. Unless, can you reproduce asexually?" XQC asked.

Hasan sighed. "I guess I'll ask one of those doctors."

"Don't worry, Hasan. I'll help you raise the kid," XQC assured him.

"Thanks, XQC." Hasan smiled.

"It's okay, Hasan," Ludwig said from behind them. "I know how to take care of kids too. I mean I technically already am raising XQC."

The next day XQC drove Hasan to the doctor to see if he is pregnant. Ludwig couldn't come, he had to fly on an airplane to the other side of the world for a Mr.Beast youtube video. He would be gone at least three days.

"Good news, Hasan! You're not pregnant!" The doctor said.

Hasan breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank god."

"Let's take a look though," the doctor continued.

She took out some equipment and examined Hasan's penis and testicles. Then she told him to turn around.

"What does this tell you?"

"Aha! Here's the problem!"

"Oh no..." Hasan said quietly.

"You're an omega! you just went through your first heat cycle. Here I'll give you heat supressants to take home. Make sure you take them or you could get pregnant! Also that young alpha out there, what was his name? XQC, you should stick around him. His alpha peromones will help keep your heat cycle regular!"

After that, Ludwig arrived from the other side of the globe. He would be staying at Ludwig's house until he left for his next adventure.

"Oh, I got hurt filming. But don't worry, I'm fine now." He wasn't actually fine, Mr. Beast's video this time was a recreation of Junji Ito's Uzumaki. They all had to build row houses that spiraled towards the center of the pond. He didn't know how he got out of there but he was happy to be home. "Can't wait to talk about Mr. Beast's video on stream!"

"So, Hasan. Have you found anyone yet?" Ludwig asked.

"Well, I haven't been on any dates yet. But I did talk to my doctor and she gave me some medicine."

"What kind of medicine?" Ludwig asked.

"Heat suppressants. She said they would help regulate my heat cycles so that I wouldn't get pregnant."

"Ah, nice! That's good news for you. Now you can have sex without worrying about getting pregnant." Ludwig said.

"Yeah, thanks Ludwig."

Ludwig walked over to the table and grabbed a bowl of popcorn. "Come on, let's watch the vid!"

They sat in the living room and watched the video together.

"Because we've bonded. We're soul mates. I love him." Hasan said.

"He loves you too, Hasan." Ludwig reminded him.

"I know. That's why I need to be with him."

The next day there was a terrible news, apparently Ludwig wasn't supposed to talk about the new Mr. Beast video, in fact there was no video that ever came out. Ludwig was found dead in his bedroom and the last person to be seen leaving his house was Mr. Beast. Ludwig was never heard from again.

Hasan was devastated. He tried to go back to his old ways, but he felt empty. He couldn't stop thinking about Ludwig. He missed him terribly. Ludwig was still alive in his heart.

He put on his best black outfit, painted his nails black, and wore black pearls to the funeral. Everyone was sad. XQC walked up to Hasan.

"I haven't heard from you in a while Hasan" XQC told Hasan.

"How are you doing?" Hasan asked.

"I'm okay. How have you been?"

"I miss Ludwig."

"I know."

"I think he died because he loved you. He wanted to be with you. And he couldn't be with you anymore. So, he killed himself."

"No, I'm pretty sure Mr. Beast killed him."

"Do you really believe that?"

"I don't know. I just feel like it must be true."

"You've been crying a lot lately Hasan," XQC said.

"I don't want to talk about it right now." Hasan replied.

"It doesn't mean anything if you keep yourself away from everyone." XQC said.

"Okay. I'll come by later."

That night when Hasan went to bed he couldn't sleep. He had to call XQC. He dialed his number and a man picked up.

"Hello, who am I speaking to?" The voice asked.

"XQC, it's me, Hasan."

There was a long pause before someone answered. "Who is this?"

"I'm Hasan. It's late, are you okay?"

"Oh, hey Hasan. Yeah, I'm fine."

"You haven't been answering my texts or calling me. What happened?"

"Sorry, I lost my phone. I've been trying to find it."

"Aww, you gotta get another one. I miss you, Hasan."

"I miss you too." Hasan said quietly.

"Listen, you should probably start coming around more often. It's been hard for us since Ludwig left."

"I know. Do you mind if I come by tomorrow?" Hasan asked.

"Sure, I'll meet you downstairs."

When Hasan woke up the next morning he got ready. When he opened the door, XQC was standing there waiting for him. He immediately kissed him passionately, he had been holding it in for so long. He had to be with him. He knew Ludwig was looking up at them from hell smiling that they finally did it.

"XQC, I want to make a baby with you" Hasan said.

"I want that too." XQC said.

They made love all day until Hasan could barely walk. XQC then carried him into the car, and headed down to Los Angeles. They went to Ludwig's house, and it was empty. Ludwig was never seen again.

It occurred to me while I was playing Saeran's AE. But this post doesn't really have spoilers. Perhaps some, but mildly. As always the choice it's yours.

So once we have that clear, we can focus on the rest of the characters. And I'm gonna talk about this as a whole and that of course includes Casual, Deep and Another story, not gonna say a lot of things but it can be a bit spoilerish.

Now you don't have to agree with me on this, but I'm using my whole M.M. Theory for this analysis, so yes, I AM aware that there are some parts missing (I haven't finished with this theory) and some other that I pulled them out of the hat like a rabbit. Please bear with me. And if you have any questions or notice something off, you can tell me. I can try to make some kind of explanation for it. I'm a writer crappy but writer after all lolol so here we go;;;

It was Saeran's persona in the AE that made me think of this but at the same time if we take into account his whole persona, and not just his AE, he would be a Knight. He's unpredictable, and can take you by surprise, cofcofhackercofcof just like knights. Saeyoung too.

And I'm not talking about this lightly, if you guys see my post on the Choi's relationship and my post about Saeran's being the Final Ending, you would realize that even in the main prologue, especially the bad ending in the prologue of the Casual Route, Saeran's willing to do anything to make MC play her part in this game.

Plus considering how Saeyoung reacted in Saeran's AE with Jumin... I think it's clear that these two are MC knights. Even when she doesn't want to.

You guys have no idea how many times my younger brother kills me only with his knights. They're incredible, unpredictable, high skilled, can get themselves almost out of any situation and they're truly dangerous. Now, that to me sounds like the twins. And I'm trying!! I swear!! It's one of my biggest concerns when we talk about chess. If I were playing blacks I would try to kill the knights as soon as possible because otherwise they would be a pain in the ass. So yes, that proves my point.

Jumin & Rika: they'd both be Bishops. Both are sharp, but direct in their methods and can be dangerous, Jumin's powerful but so is Rika and definitely you don't want to mess with them.

Elizabeth the 3rd: (BUT SHE'S A CAT!!) Yeah I know... But she's the most important piece of this game. She's definitely a Queen. Without her, Jumin loses his power. And so does Jumin's dad and the C&R.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, then read Saeran's AE. Not going to say anything else on the matter. But I do think she's important for Jumin as well.

Zen, Yoosung and Vanderwood: Yes, Vanderwood too. It seems to me that even though Vanderwood is part of the Agency, he still keeps the secret about MC. And not just on 707 route but in the others too, since he's almost always cleaning Saeyoung house. Now, he and Yoosung, even Zen, would be pawns. First things first, don't get offended by this please. I beg you. Pawns are actually quite dangerous pieces if used well. You can even check mate with pawns only. So I'm not belittling them. But to be honest, most of the time they are the ones that follow orders from someone else, help, defend or get into trouble. They're the frontline. Because another thing with pawns is, they can't go backwards. And to be honest once we think about it that's how Yoosung is, he only goes forward. So does Zen, perhaps because his role as an actor, but it's quite difficult to move when you're in the spotlight. And Vanderwood? Well, the Agency still has a lot of power over him, and in Saeran's AE, his only choice it's to go forward because otherwise they will kill him for disobeying orders.

You can fight me on this but since he's always receiving orders from Rika I'm thorned between him being another pawn and him being a tower. So for now I'm leaving him as a tower because I'm still lacking of one plus he can be quite scheming, but he's mostly forward (in the sense that you understand whatever allegory he is talking about because you know the game. If you're trying to play V's route without playing Deep and Casual, go back. You're making a mistake.) whenever he talks. He's definitely good at hiding things, but pretty straightforward when it comes to attack... see Saeran's AE. But also his whole route and how much power he has. So unlike pawns, he moves several steps from time to time.

Why do I put him on the white side? Because the" bad ones" aren't the RFA members. They're only reacting to the baddies. The real baddies anyway.

We don't have enough power to make the board game of the black ones. We do know to some extent that Rika was trying to fight with some of these and got trapped in middle. It didn't helped her that she's mentally ill. And no, the Agency isn't after Saeran or Saeyoung. That would be the prime minister. To me, personally it didn't seem like the Agency was putting a lot of effort into this whole thing (Saeran's AE spoilers) so let's say, their plan is different. But there's not enough data to give a proper result. I'm sorry.

So hmmm, 3 weeks of relative freedom and lets see, what did I do with it.

Probably most importantly I now have a standing desk (It's great. Now I can walk away every 5 minutes and not have to sit back down n remember what I was doing before I get distracted again) and most most importantly I have a functioning tablet that does not make my eyes bleed and brain cry from the colour inaccuracy. I hadn't seen purple in so long. You have no idea how much this speeds things up. In theory.. I'm still slow. It's just how I function, and that's okay.

Well I'm redoing the map again, to no-ones surprise.

Decided on it being a tidally-locked moon, with pretty extreme temperatures either side but a moderate middle. Its orbit is skewed so the moon has earth-like seasons, but less extreme. It has a lot of land, and 2 separated oceans, plus lots of craters, the ecological impacts (pun unintended but appreciated) of so many massive collisions it looks cool okay.

For reference the edges of the map, and the centre line horizontally, are the equator...s. If you cut it in half along the central horizontal line, the centres of the resulting squares would be the poles.

Bit outdated but, like this. That lower right corner is actually like 50% of the globe, probably too big but... it's okay, it's mostly frozen wasteland on account of being near perpetually dark.

Only the top of the main continent is done but I'm feeling good about it. Also bought a plugin to make it interactible so eventually it'll have many layers including the heights, climate, biomes, political stuff, roads, towns, etc. Don't you miss when old web games had interactible maps. Like Neopets. I am now living beyond my wildest dreams making them. Awesome.

Perhaps the biggest thing is this. Sort of... I decided to make a big worldbuilding decision, one I really have wanted to make for a long time but never knew how to go about it in a way that was better than just 'theyre aliens but happen to look like humans' (booo)

so the Valkyries are now 100% home-grown aliens, or I guess more accurately natives, since they used to be aliens to this planet.

This has some fun opportunities to explore non-magical possibly also sapient offshoots and relatives, better flow to the biology aspect now they don't feel so separate to the rest of the world.

Importantly they maintain a pleasantly human-like look and I guess function, while being visually and functionally different. They breathe through their necks (Realising Avatar already did this but they didnt give their humanoid the cool necks so boohoo i beat you to it. Also I forgot about the neck thing in that so I guess we're both cool. Theyre derived gills.) Also their neck is. on the back of their head. Its really cool. Their eyes are really that huge, but are oval shaped and dont actually rotate... only the layer of skin over it does, which contracts to from a pupil of differing sizes. So they have 3 eyelids, 1 skin, 1 membrane, 1 sphincter thing. Lovely.

You've maybe guessed already (Well probably not I hardly post them) But uhhh. This has a lot of implications for my characters, and more direly the uhhhh. giant comic I'm halfway through making.

Honestly I've kind of given up on 'finishing' it. I dunno, I feel content to move on with the story and just work on it whenever I want to do a bit more with it. It was always intended to be my 'practice' for the 'real' comic, which I feel fully capable of. Doesn't mean I'll do it tho.

And you can maybe also guess why I'm modelling them therefore. Uhhhh.... 3d comic anyone? maybe? probably not but ooooh. the ease of doing complicated poses, you have any idea how much of a wall a wierd pose is. using the 3d model as the background. I dunno, I've never seen it done before, I'd like to be the first at something, even if it doesn't work. I feel a lot more secure in my work than I used to be., to be free to fail.

If I can get the model to be as expressive as my 2d art (Which. Wuargh. Hard task.) and set it up so I don't need to unsymmetrise it (daunting but doable I hope with a few tricks) then there's nothing to stop me. Oh also clothes I guess and people touching and What To Do with Water and How To Rig Hair but like. I love 3d. And it'd be so much less destructive than 2d. I redo so many panels over and over from scratch because the pain of adjusting dozens of layers is greater than just redrawing. Imagine destroying that problem by being able to redo whatever I like and rerender it. Honestly the comfort something is changeable would maybe stop me from endlessly changing things.

So this model is ideally going to be a template for me to model my characters. I'm unsure if I'll be able to make them share a rig to the point that poses and such will be reusable... but I'll try. I think as long as the bones have the same names it'll work.

Here's an example of a redesign. Also little teen teri... cursed and skinny... Still a mild victim of funky tablet colours so if it's wierd, yeah.

(It's hilarious putting her proportions into 3d. She is so dense. She is easily 4x the body mass of the template, its ridiculous. And that was only the muscles, I didnt even add the fat yet. I probably won't model everyones skeleton and muscles but she needs it okay)

3d is really just, the closest you can get to those flash dressup games, you know the ones, but with complete creative freedom. And cloth physics.
