Hello I have another ask for Elite Four headcanons for type swaps if that would be alright:

Phoebe (Steel type)

Poppy (Ghost type)

Alrighty can do :)

Phoebe:

She naturally used the steel typing since her youth, because of her idol Jasmine, being inspired by her strength. Which is how and why, she began to train steel types.

Her first pokemon was a Mawile, which she found while she got lost in the Granite Cave

While she quickly became strong, Drake at first didn't want to allow her to join the Elite Four, because Steven was already labeled as the Steel Specialist. But Steven was impressed by Phoebe, so he let her in regardless.

Phoebe hopes to overtake Steven one day and become the new steel type champ of Hoenn.

Poppy:

As a child, Poppy used to be scared of ghosts, often going to her parents every night, due to a Gastly in her room

One day however, Poppy found a chest at the toy store and her parents bought it for her, upon her wishes. But to her dismay, it was a Gimminghoul, which she found out at night.

Poppy at first wanted to run to her parents, but then noticed how mischievous the pokemon was, which she found amusing. The two became friends and battled, before it evolved into Gholdengo

The two remain mischievous and trollish to this day, even after they were accepted and scouted into the Elite Four by Geeta, upon noticing Poppy's talent. Though she is unfortunately a victim of Poppy's pranks too....

I love the thought of seasonal pokemon popping out, you know? Winter hits, the yard is covered in fresh snowfall, and little packs of Glaceon, Snover, etc just kind of wander freely through the world. If you're lucky you might be able to catch one but you never know when one will pop up.

Ok now I can't not use this as a premise for a poll, can I.

Picture this:

Team Rocket grunts have stolen a truck carrying 12 Pokemon I picked from the national dex with a random number generator hostage, and are planning to sell them in the black market.

However, what they weren't counting on is you were also back there, because you wanted to recreate the opening scene from Ruby and Saphire.

When you come to, you realize the truck has arrived at the center of the Team Rocket headquarters. You know how to battle, but all you're carrying with you is an empty Pokeball and 3 potions. A choice must be made: you have to pick one of the 12 hostage Pokemon as your partner to help you battle your way out of the headquarters, and clear a path for the other 11 Pokemon to escape!

I was rewatching Pokémon Ruby and Saphire and I was thinking about which Pokémon the boys would use.

But as there are MANY pokemons, I decided to focus on the classic 150.

Nintendo released its 3rd handheld juggernaut in March of 2001 in Japan and June 2001 in the US and EU for $100.

Instead of keeping their tried and true form factor from the original and Color versions of the Game Boy, the GBA used a wider form factor similar to the Game Gear and Lynx.

Over 1500 games were developed for the system world wide. Notable titles include: Pokemon Ruby/Saphire/Emerald, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, WarioWare: Twisted, Drill Dozer, Megaman Zero 1-4, multiple entries in the Castlevania series, and many, many more....

The first 32-bit handheld system, fully backwards compatible with all Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles. It would go on to sell over 81 million units.

It continued the trend of the link cable port for multiplayer games as well as a special cable to connect to a controller port on the Gamecube, which featured gameplay elements for several cube games such as The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals. It could run for up to 15 hours on 2 AA batteries.

In 2003 Nintendo released the infamous clamshell redesign of the GBA for $100. The Game Boy Advance SP aside from being nearly half the size of the original, also had a front lit display and a built in rechargeable battery (F U C K I N G F I N A L L Y).

It also removed the headphone jack. You could still use headphones but it required an adapter cable that plugged into the proprietary charging port of the SP.

In 2005 Nintendo would release a new variant of the system that featured a backlit screen, making it much easier to see. The battery lasted around 10 hours with the screen light or about 18 hours with it off. It sold 43.5 million units.

Later on in 2005 Nintendo released the Game Boy Micro, it is the 2nd smallest cartridge based handheld they ever produced. Barely larger than the GBA carts you plugged into it, it was promoted as a budget alternative to the DS priced at $100.

It had swappable faceplates you could purchase to personalize your Micro. Another downside was the removal of backwards compatibility for OG Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

It sold over 2.4 million units, well under Nintendo's projections. Iwata later admitted the DS hurt the sales of the Micro.

So for today's prompt "rare" for ampibuary 2024 I thought about how rare shiny pokemon encounters were especially in older titles (Gamefreak, 1999, 2002). As a result I decided to draw a kitten and a frog encountering a shiny mudkip as they are based on axolotyls (Gamefreak, 2002).

Pokemon yellow update #9

I beat the elite 4 lorelie beat my pikachu but i took out her mons with the rest of my team. My donkuss(clefairy) beat bruno single handedly with substitute and psychic. My mcdonalds(nidoking) took out agatha single handedly too with earthquake and horndrill. Shades died to a crit hyperbeam but took 4 of lances mons out, then dragonite took out the rest with ice beam. The champ zlue(gary) my clefair took all but 2 of his mons with strength that things a tank but had no more moves so it fainted to cloyster. Then my lilie and mcdonalds took care of the last two mons.

Anyways good game hard core run, lost a tone of pokemon at the diglet cave cause of the darn dugtrio but all in all ita just farming in the end to win and a dragonite lol

Im nkt doing mewtwo or the bord cause yeah im done especially since i lost 3 of my hitters to the elite 4

Now for gen 3

Ill do a poll on this post for ruby saphire or emerald

I am happier than I ever thought I could be. That about sums it up. I have friends that accept me and it feels like a miracle. it is not a miracle, as it turns out, there's a whole lot of awesome people in the world if you just look around.

-over the garden wall turned 10 :O

-the great gravity falls renaissance <3 billford is canon and now i get to say that I shipped it before it was cool

-POKEMON Z IS REAL!!!!!! :00000000 !!!! for non-pokemon fans i can not overstate enough how big of a deal this is

-i completed my news years resolution. it was to get sillier. they told me it was impossible, i was already so silly, surely any sillier and the world just wouldn't be able to handle it. but I did homies, I got even sillier >:333 and I will continue my silly escapades forevermore

-sonic 3 came out, a good friend of mine flew in town just to see it with me (and our other friends) :3

-spongebob turned 25!

-the lego movie turned 10 :0

-mario and luigi comeback!!!!!!! (i got my copy for christmas :3 I've been enjoyign it a lot so far >:D
