20 Years of Hum Tum (28/05/2004)

Hum Tum is a 2004 romantic comedy film directed by Kunal Kohli and produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra under their Yash Raj Films banner. The movie stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles. Songs were composed by Jatin–Lalit, with the exception of "U'n'I (Mere Dil Vich Hum Tum)", which was composed by British-Indian producer Rishi Rich. While the lyrics of all the songs were penned by Prasoon Joshi. Cinematography by Sunil Patel and Edited by Ritesh Soni.

The film was generally received well by critics, and special praise went to Khan's and Mukerji's performances. It won several Filmfare Awards, including Best Actress (Mukerji), Director (Kohli), and Actor in a Comic Role (Khan). In June 2005, Khan won the National Film Award for Best Actor.

My rating: 6/10

I mean, as Indian movies reframing the struggle against the British Raj as something a lot more epic than it probably realistically was go, this is both marginally more historically accurate (mostly due to the fact that nobody displays any actual superpowers) and a little less entertaining than RRR, but still pretty good. Kind of funny how there doesn't appear to be a single white guy who can act in all of India, though, all the British characters were terrible.

Haven't made a set in a long while and IT SHOWS! I wasn't really planning on it either tbh, but I've gotten into the habit, or more of a little tradition with myself, of making a set to go with my birthday playlist.
