"Our best present will be to get you into the union...by hook or crook!!"
The Ghost & Ghoul Guild (now apparently renamed the Ghost, Ghoul, and Vampire Union, or GG&VU) reappeared in another Frankenstein story in PRIZE COMICS #59 (May/June 1946). Here's the whole thing:
Given that the previous Ghost & Ghoul Guild story showed that the union recruits some members by scaring people to death and then convincing their ghosts to join, I think Franky got off pretty easy here.
By this time, Briefer's more comedic Frankenstein strip had become so popular that Feature Publications had also given Frankenstein his own title, whose third issue was published shortly after this story in 1946. It actually outlasted PRIZE COMICS by a few months, ending in early 1949, and it was briefly revived three years later, returning Frankenstein to his more horrific roots.
Frankenstein's friend Marvin the ghoul, incidentally, is obviously modeled after the makeup worn by Lon Chaney Sr. as Erik in the 1925 film adaptation of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, which is probably still the single best-known image of the silent movie era.

AU where jason todd goes back to school and gets a phd because while he was describing his multi-step plan to take over gotham and use bruce to kill the joker to talia she just said “oh, so you want to become a useless dropout just like your brother and father? talk about setting a bad example for damian.” which offended jason so much that he immediately re-enrolled to finish high school.
