꒰ : 🥀 [ Python ] ”♡ᵎ꒱ˀˀ ↷ ⋯

─────────────────────────────────────
Summary : Yougyeom comes home to you blasting their newest song.
Pairing : Yugyeom x fem! Reader
Word count : 0.6K Words
Genre/Warning : Fluff - Nakedness but non sexual
a/n : Forgot to make this gn! Ahh I hope this is still okay, maybe I'll overwork it someday to be gn!.. TT Request : @xleeleeboox
─────────────────────────────────────
The day went by so slowly. Yugyeom had told you he wanted to bring you to the celebration of the Winter Heptagon release with the boys, but the meeting and training were taking much longer today. All of the boys, by now, probably very much exhausted and just wanting to go to the dinner and celebrate, finally let loose and enjoy a calm evening of friends.
Speakers were blasting the seven voices of your angelic boys when Yugyeomd's voice came up, making you smile. Getting ready in his big apartment was always nice; he had such a big bathroom, the rain shower making you relax before putting on one of the fluffy matching bathrobes Yugyeom got you two. Before moving on to the mirror, dry your hair before styling it with some products, fluffing your hair up nicely. "Shot through the chest; I was falling for the shooter~" Your voice echoes through the bathroom along to Youngjae's powerful voices.
Moving onto your makeup, you grab your bag from the cabinet, rummaging through it to find the correct products; you would be going for just a light makeup since it was just the boys and some of their significant others eating out and celebrating. Swaying your hips to the song, which us now probably playing for the fifth time already, trying to rap along to Mark and Jacksons parts, but failing miserably. You've probably watched the music video around ten times since it dropped this afternoon, knowing the lyrics by heart already.
"But she got a hold on me like a python~" You sing along, looking up into the mirror again, mascara wand in hand before your eyes lock with certain brown ones, shrieking and swallowing the lyrics at the end, sounding like a dying cat for a second, making the man burst out in laughter behind you. "Yah! How long have you been standing there?!" Turning around, you accusingly wave the mascara wand at your boyfriend, just encouraging his laughing fit, two tears softly running down his cheek from laughing too hard. Pouting softly, you turn back around, mumbling under your breath as you apply the mascara.
"Sorry, sorry! You were just too adorable, dancing and singing our song!" Yugyeoms arms circle around you softly, leaning his head on your shoulder. He looked tired, but his eyes were still full of adoration for you. "I love it when you sing our songs, darling; really, it's so cute to see you dance and sing along.." He presses a soft kiss to your cheek before moving away, starting to undress to take a quick shower. "Your laughing said something different!" You groan, cheeks a soft red from glancing at his broad back before focusing on your makeup again. "That was only because of your reaction lovely!" He grinds as the water hits his body, cascading down his muscles.
"I'll get dressed, don't take too long!" Humming, acknowledging, you move to the room, opening your closet. Looking through the many options, you opt for a simple dress, not too tight, but perfectly short, to pay him back. "You really wanna wear that? Isn't it too short? Last time you wore it, Jackson couldn't take his eyes off you.." Yugyeom pouts, approaching you; turning around to him, you raise an eyebrow. "He complimented it once because he is an ambassador for the brand, and you know that. Don't be dramatic, Yugy.." Jackson, maybe indeed, did look you up and down one too many times that night, but it was just friendly banter and teasing his younger friend, and you knew that.
"Guess I'll just have to make sure you'll stay glued to my side all night today." Pulling you closer by the waist, his bare chest comes in contact with yours. Leaning down to seal his lips with yours in a soft yet passionate kiss, making sure you knew he was serious. Overprotective dummy. "As if you don't always do that, Yugy; let's get dressed before anyone complains that we're too late." He lets out a sigh as he watches you put the dress on before moving over to his side of the wardrobe to get himself dressed.

Spirit Keeper Animal Sanctuary (you may know Lori Torrini from her force free snake training videos!) in Colorado is taking the lead on a large intake of 50-70 ball pythons and one african grey parrot from a heartbreaking situation in Nebraska.
The situation is still unfolding but many of the snakes are underweight and may have other health concerns. Vet care for 50+ animals is not cheap and neither is setting up suitably sized enclosures with proper heating and lighting.
If you can spare a few dollars to help these snakes out, please do so: http://paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/1213006
Spirit Keeper Animal Sanctuary is a 501c3 organization and I can personally vouch for the people involved. These animals will be in amazing hands once they are in the care of SKAC. (Note- they used to be called Spirit Keeper Equine Sanctuary hence the name on paypal, but they help dogs, reptiles, and other animals too)

Have you seen that someone (Clint from Clint's Reptiles) target-trained his tegu? I thought it was super cool. I know a lot of tegus can be a bit bitey because they associated human hands with food, so they think it's feeding time, which is why Clint decided to give target-training a try.
(Clint is a zoologist with a YouTube channel for people who aren't familiar)
Idk, tegus are so cool. Reptiles (and a lot of non-mammals tbh) are a lot smarter than a lot of people think and target training is a good demonstration of that (I also know of an animal sanctuary that is target training an alligator, so it's not just tegus)
Short answer: yes, I watched all of Clint's videos about argentine tegus, including the one showing how he target-trained Gus-Gus. These videos helped affirm my interest in adopting a tegu myself, but the one of the largest factors have been posts by @kaijutegu showing how intelligent and rewarding tegus can be as companions.
Before picking up my new friend from her old keepers, I bought a shocking pink dog toy to be our training target. I chose this specific shade because I personally am allergic to pink, and don't own anything of that color, which would make the toy uniquely associated with feeding time.

I stuck it on a stick and have been showing it to her when offering food. Her lack of appetite and desire to just nap (trying to brumate, I guess) make it a bit difficult with the training, since food is the main reward in that system, and if she's not interested in food, the rest just doesn't work.
The flip side of this is that she's not been trying to nibble on my hands as a snack, so there's that.
We're still establishing rapport, though, and having a solid foundation of trust is pretty much a requirement for any enriching interaction between her and me. I'm looking forward to when we get there!
She was being given up because of changes to her temperament, supposedly becoming cage-defensive and bitey, explained by her entering "guberty" (tegu puberty). I haven't seen a lot of that from her, but this may be because I'm a New Person and therefore Scary, I don't know.
She did bite my sleeve once while I was trying to get her from under a sideboard, but that was clearly because she felt cornered (which she was). After being extracted from under the furniture and on the way to the cage, she also scratched my wrist trying to wiggle herself free, but that one time was very different from her typical behavior. Since then the access to underneath the sideboard has been barricaded shut, so as to avoid repeating this situation, as neither of us enjoyed it.
I have been picking her up almost daily without incident since, so she's not quite the anger monster I was expecting.
Note on picking up tegus: My understanding is that the best way to pick them up is kind of like you would a bunny rabbit: the football hold. Scoop your forearm under the tegu's chest, tummy, and pelvic girdle, then gently grip the base of tail with other hand. My new friend hasn't objected to being lifted that way.
PS - This is not a blanket endorsement of all things Clint has ever said and done. I'm highly critical of his support of breeding spider ball pythons, for one, so don't at me. However the vast majority of his videos are filled with good information, and if he manages to prevent people from impulse-buying a venomous snake or a crocodilian, he's doing good.

and still I'm hung up on this video!
youtube
And guess what? I have another theory!
So, as you can see by the title, it's about who Macaque made a deal with. And if you watch the video, you'll find out it was with none other than Python Demon! Who's that? Well, basically a big red snake demon with very similar abilities to Macaque. But what if I told you I don't believe Macaque made a deal with this demon but was instead trained by him?
It would explain why he sounds fairly confused by Xiang Liu's question annnd this:

So, here's what I'm getting at, we all remember that memory Wukong witnessed in the pagoda, right? The one where Macaque was laughing like a maniac? Well consider the following, what if, after a long time of training with the Python Demon, Macaque eventually decides to go off and do his thing (attacking the pilgrims.) He and Wukong fight, and, let's say, Wukong says something that sends him off the edge.
Making his powers go haywire as well because of all the strong emotions he's feeling, similarly to Mk above.
Link to my first theory:
#lmk macaque#six eared macaque#python demon#lmk theory#lmk#lego monkie kid#i also have yet another theory!#but that's for another post

if i didn't know better, i'd think you were still around
little angsty disaster twins snippet i posted on ao3 a while ago. thought it might be cool to post it here too! cw for major character implied/ referenced death. enjoy!
-----
He walked past his room again.
At this point, it was starting to become an exercise in futility. It was like a data point to be measured, a new tally to be marked down, how many times could he walk past his room in a day under the guise of doing literally anything else. Checking the kitchen to see if they needed more eggs. Ducking into the dojo to see if Raph had let up on his everlasting training routine since he had last checked on him, seeing if Mikey needed more salve for his aching arms. Walking behind dad’s recliner to see if he had moved an inch, at all, or if he was still stuck watching the same stupid infomercial reruns in lieu of getting up and helping mend the chaotic, broken stasis that his sons were stuck in.
It had been almost five months. Four months and sixteen days, if you wanted to be perfectly exact, but man, who was really counting?
(He was. Donnie was.)
It was, truthfully, stasis. The time had passed, but nobody acknowledged it, not really. It was still August fifth. Maybe it would always be August fifth. It felt that way. Sure, they moved around it, this gaping hole of just, loss, the grief in its totality, like it didn’t exist, but the proof of it persisted every time Donnie walked past his room, and he wasn’t there.
Leo was supposed to be in his room.
Leo was supposed to be in his room so that when Donnie walked in after fruitless efforts of getting a specific line of Python to code, a blanket would be lifted so Donnie could crawl in and commiserate in Leo’s insomniatic company. Leo was supposed to be in his room so that Donnie could bring in two sugar free Redbulls and turn on a Five Nights at Freddy’s video essay, staying up until four in the morning discussing with Leo which game contributed the most lore to the series. Leo was supposed to be in his room so that Donnie knew exactly where to find him when he got a text from Leo that he was heading topside for a slushie run and wanted Donnie to come with him. Leo was supposed to be in his room so that Donnie could come bug him to share his Switch so they could play Mario Kart.
Leo was supposed to be in his room.
And all Donnie could do was walk by, adding more tallies to the count for every time he did, wishing he could push past this inane thing, this fear, of walking into Leo’s room, and having to face the total eclipse of acceptance that his room would always be empty.
It had been almost five months.
He wondered if Leo had ever taken the mug he had been drinking his peppermint tea in back to the kitchen, the tea he had made the night before the world ended, or if it was just collecting dust now on his nightstand. He wondered if Leo had taped up the left corner of his Jupiter Jim poster that had fallen down, or if it was still hanging off the wall, doomed to be stuck that way for the rest of time. He wondered if he had remembered to plug in his laptop, or if it was still sitting on his bed where it would remain forever paused on whatever movie he had turned on to help him fall asleep.
Donnie could try to rationalize to himself all he wanted that he walked past Leo’s door everyday to check on the state of the lair. To check on the state of his family, as they too tried to process their grief. He could give himself a million reasons as to why it wouldn’t be alright for him to finally just walk into Leo’s room, a room that was now made to hold his memory, a mortuary for the people who loved him, love him, so much. In truth, he was scared to see the same stasis that he saw in Raph, saw in Mikey, saw in his dad. Their life was an ellipsis, waiting for the resolving sentence that was Leonardo to make them truly whole. If he walked into Leo’s room, if he finally let himself be brave, the pause button he had placed on his own life would start playing again, and the feeble control he so painstakingly allowed himself in his grief would finally be unraveled.
The feeble, tiniest hope still left in him that when he walked past Leo’s door, maybe he might hear the shitty eighties glam rock Leo so loved to dance to, or a Ghibli movie he had watched a million times, or hell, maybe even Leo’s voice and his wonderful, dazzling laugh as he talked to someone on the phone.
He still had this small hope inside him that perhaps Leo wasn’t truly gone, just somewhere far away where Donnie couldn’t quite reach him, and any minute he might portal back into his room where Donnie could find him again. That seeing the portal close, the portal that painted the early morning New York City sky in so many beautiful shades of brilliant colors, had just been a terrible dream. And he would wake up any minute now, and the one color the sky couldn’t take away from him, his most favorite shade of blue, would be waiting for him like he always was.
But the dream didn’t pass. It never did.
Donnie felt like insanity personified, and maybe he was. Doing the same thing over and over, hoping, wishing, praying for a different result.
One more time. Just once more.
He walked past his room.

Choice-Based Training Log 001
Intro; Purpose
I'm starting a new series here on my blog. @woah-wtf-is-this reminded me of some videos I'd seen, enjoyed, thought "I should do that!" about, and...promptly forgot: videos on something called choice-based handling for snakes, in which you teach snakes that they can choose to come out of their enclosures and climb on you instead of just, you know, going in and picking them up.
youtube
This was and is a game-changer for me. I have some very friendly snakes and I have some rather unfriendly snakes and a lot in between, but the idea of having a trusting-enough relationship with at least some of them is highly attractive. So with @woah-wtf-is-this's encouragement, I'm giving this a first try.
If you want to follow these updates, follow the tag: snake training log If you DON'T want to see these updates, blacklist that tag instead.
Seiryu: Step 2
This is Seiryu, a juvenile blue phase Kunashir Island locality Japanese rat snake, Elaphe climacophora. I bought her from BSR Auctions. She lives in a tank on the rack to the right of my desk, third shelf from the top, so she's been able to see me almost all day, almost every day for most of this year.
She's been going about her business while I do the same or some time now, so I reckon we're past step 1; therefore I started at step 2—standing directly in front of the rack (therefore her tank) while not paying attention to her.
Session 001
I spent about 35 minutes standing in front of the rack while watching videos on my larger monitor and drinking water. It was quite difficult to do so but I managed to mostly ignore Seiryu's tank.
However, I was about to observe two super interesting things.
First: at least three times, and from different locations, she peeked out of hiding to watch me for a while, then slowly approached the front of the tank to varying distances, watched me a few moments more, and then slowly retreated backwards. This tells me that she's definitely curious about me—we've had plenty of positive and peaceful interactions before—but still nervous.
Second: a second snake came out of hiding and approached to watch me from another tank!
Enyo: Step 2

Enyo is a baby spied (spider pied) ball python bred by Wilbanks Reptiles. She lives in a tank on the second shelf from the top on the same rack as Seiryu. Due to having a visible wobble, I will never breed her.
Like Seiryu, she came out of hiding to watch me, and approached closer multiple times. Unlike Seiryu, she did this without retreating, instead getting a little closer each time.
Since she's showing obvious curiosity, she's going to be subject number two!
Overall I think we're off to a great start!

I'm curious: is there something you can share for question number 5 of the author ask game? 😊
Thank you for the ask!
5. Can you share something from researching for a fic?
I don't research a lot for fics besides going back to canon to fact check myself and ensure I'm at least sort of in the character's voice. It's just not something I typically find interesting and I try to keep my fics as something of a hobby, whereas research and fact checking is harder for me.
That being said, I have done extra reading.
Tw for snakes and images/discussion of snake attacks and threat displays.
Idk if I'd call it research since its kinda what I do anyway, but I've spent nights awake on snake Wikipedia and snake reddit and sometimes snake YouTube learning about them because Misumi likes them and Kabuto had a snake summon.
I've learned that there are a few kinds of venomous snakes, elapidae which according to Wikipedia have fangs that don't retract, think black mamba or a king cobra (this seems to be what Orochimaru’s summons are? You might have a better guess than me but they are NOT boas, sorry English dub), Viperidae, and Atractaspididae. I focused mostly on the first group as well as constrictor snakes like pythons and boas.
The threat display of Kabuto's white summon snake in LP is based on a black mamba, in the prison cell chapter it has the same mouth open, s-shape, posture iirc, but it shares little else with that species. I feel like summons have to kind of be their own thing, sharing traits with but separate from conventional snake species.
I'm not expert on them but from what I saw reticulated pythons caught my eye as a Misumi sort of snake. They're the only constrictor that's known to consume people (very very rarely), but they can also be kept as pets (this is not advisable as they have specific care needs few can meet)! They're gorgeous but giant, there's a youtube video of someone interacting with a friend's pet and it was a struggle for them to get it out of the box. Not as big as the biggest constrictors but plenty large. From what I gather they do sometimes attack their handlers if not properly handled, the main method for training them I saw discussed is tap training? Basically to signal to the snake when it's feeding time vs time for handling. I've heard toothpaste is a method to get them off if they latch on (they don't like the smell?) but you mostly would need a second person to untangle the snake. I love them deeply and truly, absolutely beautiful animal.
Despite this I do not own snakes and unlike Sasuke I'm not a snake expert so I try to keep discussion of them to a minimum. What I show of the handling is very subject to errors because for all the research I can do I'm not someone who has the experience to actually confirm any of what I read. Very happy to be corrected when I get things about snake care wrong, especially with how demonized snakes are. It's a line of not wanting to downplay it when they can be a threat and need to be properly cared for but also not making them sound like they hunt people for sport and pleasure.
Some sources but not an exhaustive list as I didn't want to go hunting down specific reddit posts for this, and a lot of it is wikipedia:
This is the pet reticulated python video, I also used one of a snake in captivity at a zoo to see how handlers interact with them but it shows a snake consuming something (that is already dead) and is easily searchable so I won't share it:
youtube
This is kinda sorta what the mambas threat display looks like (that I know of (first image)) but I didn't want to find a video of it doing the display since I didn't want to show a distressed snake.
This is the ask game if anyone else would like to ask me something
#ask game#snakes#tw snakes#fanfic stuff#some of this may be inaccurate#and idk how much reddit wikipedia and youtube dives count as research#but#that's what I got#thanks for letting me ramble about snakes#I love them

Semi masturbatory caffeinated ramble reflecting on skills acquired in my PhD
Thinking about how broad and interdisciplinary my project is and the kinda of things I have to be familiar with or an expert in. I get down on myself sometimes for progress but looking at all the shit I've learned.... Without formal classes or a senior grad student or (for the majority of it) no post doc. And a PI who can't help bc she's really a business lady at this point not a professor. Maybe shouldn't be hard on myself?
Like. I did completely different projects in undergrad (biotech/proteins/genetics/regenerative medicine, advanced manufacturing/composite fabrication/CNC/welding/process statistics, translational neuropharma studies of addiction/rodent handling and operant training and behavioral video analysis/neural tissue slicing n staining/hand making neuroelectrodes for implantation, design and fabrication of impedance spectroscopy based electrochemical sensors/automation of sensor fab and use w a micro fluidic flow cell)
Like. Since I've started I've learned:
- how to do multi-step air-free water-free chemical synthesis (with glove box and schlenk line) and purification (extraction, filtration, chromatography) of light sensitive amphiphiles (extra tricky)
- how to get and read NMR even for massive fucking molecules and interpret weird peaks (I can casually see if I've got water or any of my common solvents contaminating the spectra without referencing a table at this point)
-how to fucking take down and set up and fix everything in our chemical synthesis lab (because we moved and all our shit was abused for years) and all the intricate non-unified and sometimes conflicting rules for hazardous chemical storage
- the theory/math and how to actually use the equipment to do optoelectronic/photophysical characterization (e.g. using the UV vis spectrometer and writing python to convert the data files into readable tables and figures, learning theory so I can develop equations to relate photon flux to change in absorbance of an actinometer ((light sensitive molecule with a consistent quantum yield)) then obtain quantum yield of charge transfer in a different molecule but same setup, how to use the fluorimeter and get intensity and quantum yield, how to set up lasers and LEDs, what cuvettes to use, how to get fluorescence lifetimes or take two photon excitation data, how to spin coat wafers n do thin film transistor studies), more theory about how photo induced electron transfer voltage sensors work and the importance of angle of insertion on sensitivity (and how to measure it with polarization microscopy) other voltage sensing dye mechanisms like FRET or electrochromic dyes and why to use intensity vs lifetime vs whatever when interpreting signal readouts and the extrinsic and intrinsic factors affecting that interpretation.
- how to do vesicle fabrication and immobilize for imaging, typical membrane compositions and dynamics (e.g. phase orders depending on cholesterol concentrations, significance of packing parameters to membrane organization), measurimg particle radius with DLS, controlling inner cargo and gradients over a membrane by manipulating the bulk solution, the interplay between non radiative decay and the stiffness of the membrane microenvironment around a fluorophore
- the math and bio behind electrophysiology/advanced neuroscience pertaining to modeling and calculating and quantifying signalling/equivalent RC circuit analysis, what spatiotemporal requirements there are for studying this shit <- though this was through a class, not self taught
- I already had cell culture experience and did some adherent and suspended cultures, some live dead imaging assays, etc, but I've learned new facets like how to go about picking electrically exciteable lines (ease of growing? What media requirements? time to multiply and differentiate? What agent to differentiate? How to induce firing without a patch clamp?) and troubleshooting uptake/optimizing staining and imaging parameters (what media or buffer for growth vs staining vs washing vs imaging? Can it have serum? Can it have calcium and magnesium? What salts, how is it buffered, whats the osmolarity I can get away with? What concentrations work for what # of cells? What dilution factors? Do I need to admix equivolumes of dye solution and cell solution? Do I prep the organic solvent+ dye + aqueous solution with sonication or filtration or vortexing before mixing? Is DMSO or ethanol or DMF a better organic for dispersal or biocompatibility? What's the Ideal incubation time for uptake and viability? How long before I absolutely need to image or the dye gets internalized? If it's retained long, how many days could I image for?) for my tricky aggregation-prone non-diffusive thermodynamically-partitioned dye. Also stuff like what commercially available live imaging dyes can I compare to or complement my visualizations with or use for colocalization studies (other lipophilic membrane dyes that insert in the bilayer with preferences for diff order regions? What about comparison with surface adhering dyes like WGA-iFluor that bind surface sugars, to show that our dye can laterally diffuse to areas blocked by cell-cell contacts?), what fluorescence specific parameters do I need to characterize (photo toxicity/photo bleaching time?)
And then there's other shit I've picked up like. Idk. How to make orders in the particular institute I'm in. Better citation managers and ways to search literature. Recognizing what groups and journals and conferences are major players in the fields I'm touching. Getting comfy presenting my shit.
I need to learn a little more about microscopy (especially FLIM and how to build a polarizer module into the scope we have for polarization microscopy), and a little more about the state of the art for voltage dyes and live-imaging dye characterization but man. I think I'm getting somewhere. I'm starting to know enough to see the end of this project and pick my directions moving forward and argue when my PI is wrong
Gahhhhhh
#i should not drink coffee and then go to the bathroom on my phone or you get sloppy brain dumps like this#blog#stem#academia

Why Do People Call DeepSeek "Fake"? (The Truth Revealed)
The Language Barrier Myth
DeepSeek is trained primarily on Chinese-language data, leading to awkward English responses.
Example: A user asked, "Write a poem about New York," and DeepSeek referenced skyscrapers as "giant bamboo shoots."
SEO Keyword: "DeepSeek English accuracy."
Cultural Misunderstandings
DeepSeek’s humor, idioms, and examples cater to Chinese audiences. Global users find this confusing.
ChatGPT, trained on Western data, feels more "relatable" to English speakers.
Lack of Transparency
Unlike OpenAI’s detailed GPT-4 technical report, DeepSeek’s training data and ethics are shrouded in secrecy.
LSI Keyword: "DeepSeek data sources."
Viral "Fail" Videos
TikTok clips show DeepSeek claiming"The Earth is flat" or "Elon Musk invented Bitcoin." Most are outdated or edited—ChatGPT made similar errors in 2022!
DeepSeek vs ChatGPT: The Ultimate 2024 Comparison
1. Language & Creativity
ChatGPT: Wins for English content (blogs, scripts, code).
Strengths: Natural flow, humor, and cultural nuance.
Weakness: Overly cautious (e.g., refuses to write "controversial" topics).
DeepSeek: Best for Chinese markets (e.g., Baidu SEO, WeChat posts).
Strengths: Slang, idioms, and local trends.
Weakness: Struggles with Western metaphors.
SEO Tip: Use keywords like "Best AI for Chinese content" or "DeepSeek Baidu SEO."
2. Technical Abilities
Coding:
ChatGPT: Solves Python/JavaScript errors, writes clean code.
DeepSeek: Better at Alibaba Cloud APIs and Chinese frameworks.
Data Analysis:
Both handle spreadsheets, but DeepSeek integrates with Tencent Docs.
3. Pricing & Accessibility
FeatureDeepSeekChatGPTFree TierUnlimited basic queriesGPT-3.5 onlyPro Plan$10/month (advanced Chinese tools)$20/month (GPT-4 + plugins)APIsCheaper for bulk Chinese tasksGlobal enterprise support
SEO Keyword: "DeepSeek pricing 2024."
Debunking the "Fake AI" Myth: 3 Case Studies
Case Study 1: A Shanghai e-commerce firm used DeepSeek to automate customer service on Taobao, cutting response time by 50%.
Case Study 2: A U.S. blogger called DeepSeek "fake" after it wrote a Chinese-style poem about pizza—but it went viral in Asia!
Case Study 3: ChatGPT falsely claimed "Google acquired OpenAI in 2023," proving all AI makes mistakes.
How to Choose: DeepSeek or ChatGPT?
Pick ChatGPT if:
You need English content, coding help, or global trends.
You value brand recognition and transparency.
Pick DeepSeek if:
You target Chinese audiences or need cost-effective APIs.
You work with platforms like WeChat, Douyin, or Alibaba.
LSI Keyword: "DeepSeek for Chinese marketing."
SEO-Optimized FAQs (Voice Search Ready!)
"Is DeepSeek a scam?" No! It’s a legitimate AI optimized for Chinese-language tasks.
"Can DeepSeek replace ChatGPT?" For Chinese users, yes. For global content, stick with ChatGPT.
"Why does DeepSeek give weird answers?" Cultural gaps and training focus. Use it for specific niches, not general queries.
"Is DeepSeek safe to use?" Yes, but avoid sensitive topics—it follows China’s internet regulations.
Pro Tips to Boost Your Google Ranking
Sprinkle Keywords Naturally: Use "DeepSeek vs ChatGPT" 4–6 times.
Internal Linking: Link to related posts (e.g., "How to Use ChatGPT for SEO").
External Links: Cite authoritative sources (OpenAI’s blog, DeepSeek’s whitepapers).
Mobile Optimization: 60% of users read via phone—use short paragraphs.
Engagement Hooks: Ask readers to comment (e.g., "Which AI do you trust?").
Final Verdict: Why DeepSeek Isn’t Fake (But ChatGPT Isn’t Perfect)
The "fake" label stems from cultural bias and misinformation. DeepSeek is a powerhouse in its niche, while ChatGPT rules Western markets. For SEO success:
Target long-tail keywords like "Is DeepSeek good for Chinese SEO?"
Use schema markup for FAQs and comparisons.
Update content quarterly to stay ahead of AI updates.

Arrivals & Departures . 27 October 1939 . Celebrate John Marwood Cleese Day!
John Marwood Cleese (/ˈkliːz/ KLEEZ) is an English actor, comedian, screenwriter, producer, and presenter. Emerging from the Cambridge Footlights in the 1960s, he first achieved success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and as a scriptwriter and performer on The Frost Report. In the late 1960s, he cofounded Monty Python, the comedy troupe responsible for the sketch show Monty Python's Flying Circus. Along with his Python costars Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, and Graham Chapman, Cleese starred in Monty Python films, which include Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), Life of Brian (1979), and The Meaning of Life (1983).
In the mid-1970s, Cleese and first wife Connie Booth co-wrote the sitcom Fawlty Towers, in which he starred as hotel owner Basil Fawlty, for which he won the 1980 British Academy Television Award for Best Entertainment Performance. In 2000, the show topped the British Film Institute's list of the 100 Greatest British Television Programmes, and in a 2001 Channel 4 poll, Basil was ranked second on its list of the 100 Greatest TV Characters.
Cleese costarred with Kevin Kline, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Michael Palin in A Fish Called Wanda (1988) and Fierce Creatures (1997), both of which he also wrote. For A Fish Called Wanda, he received Academy Award, BAFTA Award, and Golden Globe Award nominations. He has also starred in Time Bandits (1981), Clockwise (1986), and Rat Race (2001) and acted in Silverado (1985), Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994), two James Bond films (as R and Q), two Harry Potter films (as Nearly Headless Nick), and the last three Shrek films. He received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for Cheers (1987) and was nominated for 3rd Rock from the Sun (1998) and Will & Grace (2004).
Cleese has specialised in political and religious satire, black comedy, sketch comedy, and surreal humour. He was ranked the second best comedian ever in a 2005 Channel 4 poll of fellow comedians. He cofounded Video Arts, a production company making entertaining training films as well as The Secret Policeman's Ball benefit shows to raise funds for the human rights organisation Amnesty International. Formerly a staunch supporter of the Liberal Democrats, in 1999, he turned down an offer from the party to nominate him for a life peerage. In 2023, he began presenting a talk show on GB News
