Bloodborne Graphic Novel 1-4
Tumblr media
Bloodborne Graphic Novel 1-4
BY Aleš Kot
I have not and will never play the game Bloodborne. It is a beautifully designed game with great world building. I have watched numerus playthroughs and know that I would never ever finish it. That being said, I love the game. The many, many interpretations that can be had, the characters and the story telling and world building make this such a good game. This comic series just expands on things that you learn about in the game. You can learn more about the Healing Church, the Hunters, the scourge of the beast and so much more. If you like the world of Bloodborne and the art, architecture or characters in the game you should check these out. I think there are two other graphic novels in the series that my library didn’t have at the time I read these, so I haven’t read them yet.
My deepest thanks to @TBSkyen / @ohnoitstbskyen on youtube for my favorite playthrough of Bloodborne and FromSoftware Inc. for this beautiful game.

In the writing course I'm taking, I must take a month-long break between the first draft and the second. During that month, I'm supposed to read as much as I can and take notes, erasing my own book from my mind. The goal is to read so much that I forget my voice, allowing me to have fresh eyes for editing. This week, I'll be reading Brooklyn by Colm Tóibín, an Irish author, and Strange Pilgrims by Gabriel García Márquez.
I'm not a fast reader, and as I've mentioned before, I have never read a book faster than it was written. Reading multiple books at a time helps, but I truly think I won't have enough distraction to reset myself enough. I can't read fast and probably only finish one new book this month. It is what it is. Thankfully and tragically, this is not a graded course, so I'm not going to fail any tests but my own—editing my book with fresh eyes.

Bookworm to Rockstar Reader: Library Stamp for Students
Bookworm to Rockstar Reader: Library Stamp for Students
In today’s digital age, fostering a love for reading is crucial. A Library Stamp can be an exciting tool for students, helping them track their reading progress and stay engaged with books. Whether it’s for fun or education, these personalized stamps can play a key role in transforming a bookworm into a "rockstar" reader.
What is a Library Stamp?
A library stamp is a customizable tool, often used to mark books or reading logs. Personalized with a student’s name or a fun design, it makes the reading experience more interactive and enjoyable. While traditionally used by libraries, these stamps are a great addition to students’ personal collections.
Why Library Stamps Matter
Track Progress: Library stamps help students visualize their reading journey, making it easier to celebrate milestones.
Increased Engagement: A personalized stamp adds a sense of ownership to a student’s books and reading materials.
Organization: Stamps encourage students to keep track of borrowed books and stay responsible.
Motivation: Milestone stamps or rewards for reading achievements boost motivation and make reading fun.
How Library Stamps Help in Schools
In schools, library stamps can be a great motivational tool. They encourage students to participate in reading challenges, track their progress, and add creativity to their learning experience. Teachers can use stamps to reward achievements or challenge students to explore different genres. Library stamps also make excellent personalized gifts for students, celebrating their reading milestones.
Conclusion
Library stamps are more than just a tool for tracking books—they are a fun and engaging way to foster a love of reading. By turning the reading process into a more personal and rewarding experience, these stamps help students progress from bookworms to rockstar readers.

"In a world that whispers rejection, one soul dares to reclaim its power, turning loneliness into a journey of self-discovery and unwavering strength." "From the depths of isolation emerges a tale where every tear becomes a stepping stone toward a radiant rebirth, proving that true love begins within." "No One Loves Me is a stirring narrative that transforms the pain of solitude into an anthem of resilience, inviting you to witness a heart's triumphant evolution." "Amid the silence of abandonment, a courageous spirit rises, redefining isolation as the first step toward a profound and liberating self-acceptance." "Step into a story where the echoes of neglect fade, revealing that the path to inner peace and belonging starts with embracing your own worth."

Seaside Stranger 1-6
By Kanna Kii
I know that this series has really mixed review and I get it, I do. Their relationship can be a little frustrating especially in the beginning. The story follows Shun, an openly gay author living on an island off Okinawa and Mio, a young man that Shun spoke to three years previous as Mio was grieving the death of his mother.  Mio leaves the island, promising to keep in touch, but doesn’t, and returns three years later and confesses his love. The following books follow them as Shun realizes that Mio does actually love him and they build their relationship, former crushes and fiancés show up and we meet Shuns family who he ran away from after he came out as gay.
I will admit that reading it feels clunky at times, but I do think that the story is enjoyable if you enjoy seeing characters start to grow into themselves and their relationships. It is known by several different names and that can get a little confusing. If you like it it got an anime adaptation which I have not seen yet.

A Suzanne Says...Reading Challenge - #1 of 25
Listened to Open Book with Jenna - her interviews with Judy Blume and Nicholas Sparks were interesting. I earned this cute "the book was better" pin.
