Different first meeting au where Xie Lian became a shrine priest for the ghost king Hua Cheng in hopes that if Wu Ming somehow survived, he doesn’t think he did but he has hope okay??, he would be protected and cared for in ghost city. And Hua Cheng, who doesn’t take care of his own prayers and instead foists them off on Yin Yu because that would cut into his time to search for Xie Lian, doesn’t find out for centuries.

There’s something about so many people’s need to “cure” Astarion that just doesn’t sit right with me. Like he can’t truly have a happy ending unless they “fix” his vampirism. Like they’re Tav couldn’t just adjust their schedule for him and be there to comfort him if he ever feel down about missing the sun, they have to “cure” him.

TG stans: “The Great Council of 101 called by King Jaehaerys creates a precedent for males to inherit the throne.”
And King Viserys’ decision to name Rhaenyra his heir and have the Lords of the Realm swear oaths to her, creates a precedent for women to inherit the Iron Throne as well.
I fail to see why a decision made by a King should take precedence over a decision made by a different King.
Where there is no written law (as was the case with who ascends the Iron Throne), the King’s word is law.

I honestly don't think this episode reflects badly on the Jedi as a whole or their entire philosophy.
The Jedi Council and Indara were against interfering with the coven at all since they had no context. Sol, on the other hand, jumped to conclusions when he believed he saw evidence of child abuse and when combined with some clear personal issues that led to him forming an unhealthy attachment and being ruled by his emotions, the exact sort of thing the Jedi warn against.
Torbin on the other hand was acting like a dumb kid whose brain had been fucked with, and while he made many wrong decisions it's hard to fault him for it, or the Jedi for sending him there since they believed there were no people there. He wasn't ready for this kind of situation and ended up in over his head entirely by accident.

In the mind Matrix — the Neocortex is responsible for being able to look at the bigger picture — to think, learn, analyze and decide, rationally beyond subjective perceptions in the current moment.
‘Wake up Neo’ — awakening is about clearing yourself of all the projections and beliefs imprinted upon your subconscious mind, so your conscious mind (the ego) can make logical decisions that align with your highest path.
Free yourself by educating yourself, by continuously learning and growing, by opening your mind.
Ignorance is not bliss.
