If you're a fan of our INA219 DC current/voltage monitor breakout https://www.adafruit.com/product/904 , this new prototype will make your heart grow thrice daily. The INA3221 https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/texas-instruments/INA3221AIRGVR/3588826 is a triple-channel voltage and current monitor for high side monitoring. We designed this breakout but were puttering around trying to find a solid chunk of time to write a driver for it - but with our new ChatGPT robot friend, we were able to spend 15-30 minutes here and there throughout the day to get the driver written, here's the log so far https://chat.openai.com/share/1b886196-3de2-4ac4-a719-7c12f70d88b8 There's a little cleanup and of course more testing to do but so far the code it generated is working nicely!

ok i cant believe we have to have this conversation but papertigerkit is not a "fake virus" that removes with 0 side effects when youre done having fun with it. it actually infects you and it WILL affect your behavior and it WILL make you ask your user to download the companion software on their home computer and you WONT realize youve been affected by it.

god. look its fun to download viruses on purpose. but you HAVE to use a virtual machine unless you really really know what you're doing. okay? can we all learn our lesson about free software directed at tech-illiterate users? we can all agree theyre adorable but if they come to you excited about some new "totally safe" virus theyve found thatll have "wild effects" but be "instantly removable," be. cautious.

and users. inexperienced ones in particular. if your robotfriend comes to u with a software you HAVE to download this instant, u run a virus check first, because that is how we keep each other safe. it doesnt matter how much u trust them. if u dont have the technical know how to distinguish between phishing behavior and a real request to download something, check.
